To whom it may concern - Flights lost due to negligent travel agency service We booked a flight with Bravofly on 11 May 2024. The initial flight was booked for 20 May 2024 with EVA Air. We subsequently requested a change to the booking, as we paid EUR 120 extra for a flexible booking. This was days before the departure. We received the offer for the change on 17 May 2024. We accepted the offer by pressing the acceptance button. After that, Bravofly disappeared. Bravofly cannot be called as the number found online does not get answered nor is there a customer service email. On the 20th of May, we got a no show message, even though we were under the impression that the flight change was processed by Bravofly.
We subsequently tried to follow up with the customer service. We were initially told that the change will be looked at and that they will call us back and that they need to see how to process the additional charge. This then changed to that no changes are possible as the flight is in the past! Did Bravofly not do anything since we accepted the change offer? Subsequently we are being pushed off by the customer service, saying the booking is blocked. They indicated that nothing can be done from their side. However, I have been in contact with EVA Air. They have indicated that Bravofly needs to contact them directly to find out what the options are. Bravofly refuses and say we must make direct contact. However, their policy clearly states that changes can only be made through travel agencies IF you book through a travel agency. So I am now being sent from EVA Air to Bravofly and from Bravofly to EVA Air. EVA air says that an email can be sent to their customer service to ask what options are available and to request for the ticket to be blocked or cancelled. We cannot get any money back, including refundable airport taxes, as long as Bravofly and the Last Minute Group do not assist in the process. We have lost this ticket due to the negligent services of BRAVOFLY.
