drive thru does not speak english
I went through the drive thru at Burger King in Eagle Pass and gave my order in English. My spanish isn't the greatest, but I was thinking hey this is the United States even though it is a border town. Next thing I know the girl at the drive thru is speaking to me in Spanish. What the hell? I should feel bad because you don't know how to speak English in the United States? I know that Eagle Pass is a small town and that lots of the jobs are given based on "who you know" rather that what your qualifications truly are. Can the manager not hire people from Mexico based on "special relationships" that can not do their jobs? Can they at least hire people at the drive thru that speak English, and not treat people like dirt for not knowing Spanish?

We purchased several of the new Jonas Brothers gift cards. At the time of purchase, the store manager seemed to be fumbling around trying to load the credit on them. I was slightly irritated, but was just happy to finally get them. When we returned to use them, I handed them 3 to use, and they told me that 2 were not scanning, so I owed the rest in cash. I told them that they were brand new cards and presented the receipt with each, so I wanted to see the manager. It was the manager that originally sold me the cards. He came to the window and told me that they were demagnetized! That's it! I told him that they were brand new and still had money on each of them, so there needs to be a way to use them. He didn't say anything, so I asked if they were useless, and he said yes and just shrugged. I was furious! On the way home I thought that there had to be a way to track the money, and remembered the number on the back. Customer service confirmed that there was still the full balance on the cards and they should have called to confirm. they can transfer the balance to a new card. WHY DIDN'T THE MANAGER KNOW THIS? How much money does BK make when people just take the manager for his word and write it off as a loss?

Cards can demagnetize, especially if you hold them clsoe to other cards or electronics. I work in a hotel setting and people are ALWAYS having to reprogram their hotel room cards because they set them on their computer.

Went to get lunch and no one was wearing gloves. They were preparing food with bare hands. One employee even scratched her head and then handled food. One was talking on her cell phonewhile makeing a hamburger. I thought for sanatary reasons employees were to wear gloves. Thank you

In theory, yes the employees are to wear gloves. But there are still problems/exeptions.
I worked at a fast food restaurant for 3 years, and when I started, I asked if we had to wear gloves when preparing food, i was told that the gloves are more for the Customer's state of mind than actual sanitation...makes sense. For example (ive never done this, but seen it happen) I could have just thoroghly washed my hands then made your burger, but on the contrary, i could be wearing gloves and just scratched my genitals, etc etc...so which is cleaner? Gloves or no gloves?
Either way cleanliness should be the number one priority in a restuarant, but sadly it is often passed up for speed and cheap labor.
Ewww never noticed if they wear gloves here, will sure be looking in the future.

On July 11th, I went to the Burger King at 11300 SE Mill Plain Blvd. Vancouver, WA 98683. I ordered an Original Chicken Sandwich with no lettuce and a plain cheeseburger (I had a coupon for a free one). The little screen that says your order was broken, so I didn't know if he heard me right. The guy working the drive-thru (Latino, spoke little English, SURPRISE) didn't understand me the first time so I repeated it. Then when I get to the window, I handed him the coupon. It literally took him about 3 minutes punching ### into the register. I was a little annoyed, so once I got the food I wasn't thinking about checking to make sure it was the right order. When I got home I realized he didn't give me a receipt, even though I used my debit card. By then I was pretty sure the order would be wrong since this guy was an idiot. I opened the chicken sandwich and sure enough there was lettuce. THERE WAS ALSO MOLD ON THE BUN! Then I opened the burger, and of course it wasn't plain. THERE WAS ALSO A PIECE OF PLASTIC ON IT! Now I was pissed so I drove back and and asked for my money back. The guy accused me of putting the plastic in the burger, and said he couldn't give me my money back, "only give you new one". I asked to talk to the manager, and HE WAS THE ###ING MANAGER! The manager doesn't speak english, or care about good service! ### THIS BURGER KING!

I agree! The cooks will not give us anything unless it is rung in. And if your 3 kids ordered kids meals they are welcomed to "share the adults salad" meaning you don't get a refill unless you pay for it. This has nothing to do with racism at all, its clearly stated on the kids menu.

Makes me gag to remember Cheseburger with a Gigantic wad of Hair melted between the cheese and the meat. I found it in my first bite on a hungry drive to work. So disgusting. Health depart said they Would and Could do Nothing.

Ninety- five percent of the time I have toppings omitted from my burgers. This time, I asked for a little
extra lettuce, and I was charged $0.40 and I still didn't get the extra lettuce. Why is it that they don't discount the price of your sandwich when you omit items, yet charge extra for a few pieces of lettuce?
Also, why is it that the sandwich that you order, never looks like the picture on the board?

Don't go there, don't buy from them. Fast food is killer food in most cases and if you do, don't bleat about it; you were not forced at gun point to buy one of their horrendous heart attacks on bread for goodness sake..
I light mixture of minced beef, eggs, onions, garlic, pepper and mustard will produce something you can pan fry in its own fats, (add a slice of cheese when the second side is just cooked), place on a bread roll, and, if you really must, add mayonnaise and chunky salad and there you are!
Much better than a BK, Big Yeuk or any other commercial brand and prevents bleating about "This time, I asked for a little extra lettuce, and I was charged $0.40 and I still didn't get the extra lettuce". Aww, shame, diddums; and the picture wasn't the same as the food .

My family and I visited the Wells, Nevada, Burger King on July 5th, 2009. We had been traveling all day, and my children were hungry, so I relented when they cried for kid's meals.
The restaurant was completely empty, so there was no excuse for the condition it was in - which was filthy. There was food all over the floor in the dining area, and there were no clean tables. My kids had ordered the mac and cheese meals; when I went up to get a rag so I could clean off a table, I had the opportunity to observe the employee fixing our food open the package of mac and cheese, then drop it on the kitchen floor, which, decorated with old lettuce and french fries, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in over a week. Instead of throwing the package away and getting a new one, he picked the package up off this same floor and proceeded to fix it for my child. Needless to say, I was having none of that, and made him fix another one, which resulted in a whole stream of attitude and eye rolls.
If my kids hadn't been so hungry, we would have left. However, it only took a few bites for them to wish they had waited a little while longer; the food was so stale and old tasting that none of us finished our meals. We threw most of it out, and I swore to never, ever visit another Burger King again.
I did call the corporate office, and was told the issue would be dealt with. I also called the Nevada Board of Health, but to this date, have not received a return phone call.

I started eating burgerkings in 1965, and they were one of the
best. Today I can eat a burgerking and for 6 hours I can keep
tasting and burping up the overly cooked smoke and the grease
that falls from the burger and the grease keep cooking and cooking..
Of course I didn't go back to tell them about it becasue I was afraid
there may have been an extra charge for all the burping I did.
I didn't eat bugerkings anymore nor will I ...this happens in most
any burgerking I went to... they need to change the grease at least
once a year or so...In 1965 the burbs didn't last 6 hours.
But I guess I got my moneys worth, a hamburgerr and all
that smoky grease for no extra charge... I'll bet the leaders of burger king don't eat at a burgerking... THey are smart...

We--me, my friend, and grandson had lunch at the Burger King in Marseilles, IL, today. It left a lot to be desired--cleanliness being at the T-O-P of the list. The sandwiches had by the adults were next.
I had the original chicken sandwich value meal. My friend had the fish value meal, and the grandson had the 6 piece chicken nugget value meal. My sandwich and my friend's sandwich looked as if they had been sat on. I should have taken them back T-H-E-N.
The number of the store is #10812. It is located at 295 Main Street, Marseilles, IL.
The manager, 0055, and the 'employees' seemed to care less about the appearance of the store and the quality of the food. I think we, the consumers, should get quality food in a clean 'fast food' restaurant. Needless to say, I will tell the grandson that Burger King is NOT the place to go the next time he wants to go there for lunch.

drive through was temporary closed, interior was dirty, waited too long for food, employees were arguing, some not doing anything, employees were messy looking except one liitle queen that was going around with a crown on her head. after all the waiting the burgers were very cold. I will not go there again!

bugs and over cooked old food
While traveling, my daughter and I stopped at Burger King, in Willows, Calif. The fries we were given, were from the bottom of the pan, hard, dry, and even cracked. The chicken strips were shriveled, overcooked, and chewy. We took a picture of the food we were served, unfortunately, the photo gave the the items more credit than they were worth. Also, outside the door, many bugs were flying around the lights, which does happen. However, I think some sort of bug zapper, would have been a great assest. Might have kept the the bugs from flying into the dining room and on into the kitchen. I will never again stop at another Burger King. Just a bit toooooo gross for my family!

How dare Burger King market commercials primarily to children showing graphic images of women with their butts along with the song takeoff, of "I like big butts...
Another one that is just a objectionable is the parody of Star Trek, where Burger King is pulling one of the "Kling-ons" nipples.
Who is making and passing on these commercials, is there no innocence anymore. Who do you thing you are marketing to? I don't have any grandchildren and I am not interested in buying from Burger King!

I just read that Burger King was removing their commercial and I was ecstactic because the Square Butt commercial is nothing more that trash. I was totally disappointed however to find that they were removing a commercial that offended someone from another country!

My grandson was off of school today and we took him and friends out for the day. The high point of my day was when I told one of the friends, as we passed a Burger King, "no, we don't buy food from them." The seven-year old said "Oh, the Square Butt commercial?"

Can't say I like the commercial, but kids don't see it as sexual. The ones I have polled (without putting thoughts into their heads) just think it's funny. It only seems to be adults who apply a sexual connotation to the commercial.
I think it's a dumb commercial, but I don't apply anything sexual to it either. We don't eat at burger king, probably won't either, but not because of commercials.
If you really dislike it you should also make a complaint at the Burger King official website, where I think they've received a lot of mail about this.

I stopped at Burger King this morning for breakfast. I ordered 6 "shots" at a price of $1.39 for 2. The gal rang up 2 shots and 4 shots. The 4 shots totaled $2.89. At 2 for $1.39, math tells me the total for 4 should be $2.78. When I inquired about the overcharge I was told "oh, thats just the way it rings up". I then told her, in that case, I wanted 3 sets of shots and the overcharge back. The gal handled it poorly, yelled to the gal in back that I wanted 11 cents back, she would have to come up and give it to me! I was the only one in the store at the time and the wait was long that I started looking at the receipt and found this overcharge.

This morning as every morning my husband and I went to breakfast at Burger King in Eufaula, Al. We were treated very rudely by the asst manager. Her name was Cornelis. We have no intentions of returning to this place. There was no excuse for her being rude and embarrassing my husband. I will tell my friends of the experience. With the economy the way it is you would think that people wou;ld be much kinder and proud to have a job. This person is not what I would call a good example of an employer. If it is this way in other places I would think that your buisness would drop off significantly. We do not intend to return to a Burger King.

First of all I'm very rarely ever one to complain. Mostly because it takes too much time and more than likely nothing will will be done about it anyway. However, this time I am taking time to speak out. This incident occurred 5/12/09 at 9:25 PM . Burger King Store at 4525 NW 23rd, Oklahoma City, Okla. Store # 9532. My check # 8167 . Server # 00652/Tsosie. Store phone # [protected]. I'm providing all of this imformation because I'm hoping that changes are made at this location.
Drive thru. First of all the speaker was so loud that I had to roll up my window some to keep my ear from being blown out. So loud in fact that it was virtually impossible to understand the order taker. I tried to ask a question about my order and the lady started treating me like I was an idiot or something. I only asked because I couldn't understand her repeating my order back. I dismissed her behaviour because I felt sure that she didn't understand how loud she was on the speaker. I soon changed my mind when I got to the window and heard her say (to the next customer in line) "This lady did NOT just yell at me"! She was obviously being in an irrate and foul mood. She was acting very unproffesional. Showing everyone her bad attitude. My order had been packed and was sitting on the counter beside her, she took my $20.00 bill. ( The bill was somewhat wrinkled and had a tear in it. ) She tried several times to feed the bill through her bill scanner and couldn't get it to go. Meanwhile she's getting more frustrated because more people are pulling up to the order speaker and she's telling them to wait. After trying numerous times to get the bill to feed she went and got her manager. He told her to turn it off, wait, then turn it on and try again. She did this. It still didn't work. So she went and got him and he tried it. Wouldn't work, so he turned it off and on again, still wouldn't work. So he then took my 20.00 bill back to what I presume to be his office for a few minutes then finally came back out. He came all the way up to the window to me looked me straight in the face and told me that my 20.00 bill was a fake. I was mad. It was if he was saying "I'm holding this money till the cops come or he just wanted me to say "OH WELL, and just leave. I know this was untrue because I just got it from the bank at 6:20 and it was the only 20.00 bill that I got. I told him that this was BS. He gave in and admitted it. He said he was just kidding. Not Funny. Humiliated me. He handed the 20.00 back to the lady said it was fine, and she opened the drawer and made my change. She tried to slam her drawer shut and it broke. Instead of giving me my change, and my food, she proceeded to try to fix her drawer. She keep slamming it. It wouldn't shut. She then proceeded to take out all of the rolled coins thinking this was jamming it. Her manager came over and tried to fix it. All the while I just wanted my change and my food which at this point had been sitting there on the counter for almost 15 minutes. I didn't find any of my Burger King experience " ANYWAY I WANTED IT'. I drove four miles to get there. My fries were stone cold before I got off of the property. I am with the rest of you about the new commercial for the kids meal at burger king. I dont know what they were thinking, did they really think that parents were going to run out to there establishment after seeing the commercial and get there kids a meal there? You would have to be an idiot. I hope they are losing so much business from this, I know that I am telling everyone I know and I do know a lot of people and I tell people I dont know. Are they trying to get little children to think of women as sex objects now? Even my 10 year old niece said it would have been funny if they has a bunch of sponge bobs with square butts. Now how is that for marketing? They should get kids to do there marketing instead of the idiots they are paying now, unless the marketers are trying to put them out of business, or they are a bunch of dirty old men or purverts. And nickelodon should be ashamed of themselves to, they are allowing this with there character sponge bob, what are they thinking. yea in new york i have the same problem too. thats why if i go and get junk food i try and go to mcdonalds since they tend to hire people who speak english. burger king screws up the order all the time because they dont understand english. its fustrating
