On June 22nd around 9:30pm I walked into the Burger King thats right by my home located at 1590 Hutchinson River Pkwy, Bronx, NY 10461. I went to get food for my daughter, no one was at a register after waiting for about 5 minutes my husband then asked the lady which seemed to be the manager on site "how long before someone can take my order"? she then responded with an attitude and said "Sir if you take a look you'll see that it's only me here" I then responded to her unprofessionalism and said "he only asked a question" which she then ignored and kept us waiting. we waited another 5 minutes before we asked again and this time she told us "if you can't wait then leave and come back tomorrow" feeling upset because of her rudeness I told her "no I will not leave my daughter is hungry and I want my order taken" she refused to take the order and clearly said "I'm not taking your order" and told the other workers not to take my order either. The other worker was afraid and not sure of wether she should take the order or not but she did anyway, while she was taking my order this manager kept repeating "I said don't take the order" making her feel intimidated and afraid but she was very kind and took our order. I have been coming to this specific burger king location for about 9 years now and I have never had such a bad experience with any of the employees there up until today. Most of the managers know my husband and myself and for her to tell us go home and come back tomorrow or I'm not taking your order was beyond unprofessional. People with that attitude shouldn't be working in fast food restaurants or dealing with the public. I hope the right protocol is taken towards her and this never happens again.
