We bought 3 vinyl seat folding chairs on 5 May 2017 for use when our friends arrived. The first time we used them was on Saturday 10 June 2017. They had been stored inside our apartment.
After one use the vinyl seats were split apart on two chairs and a hole was forming on the third.
We went back to the Carrefour listed above to return the chairs.
We were refused. The manager told me that we had damaged the chairs somehow. I explained the chairs were only used the one time as extra seating at a dinner party. No one stood on the chairs or were rough and that contrary to his opinion our clothes did not damage the chairs.
By example i ran my fingers over the vinyl to show him the vinyl was failing. He still refused.
This was the first time i bought hard goods from Carrefour and with this example of poor quality goods and customer service it will be my last.
I intend on posting my information any and everywhere to warn people. Trip Advisor is next.

I've been dealing with a delivery ( Order # [protected] ) for over a week now and am tired of the poor customer service from Carrefour here in Shanghai. I have attached copies of the correspondence, none of which have been responded to. This is the third time delivery has been personally assurred would come by a certain time and I've wasted my valuable itme waiting for the arrival. I feel completely unvalued as a customer, and frankly, disrespected, as I warned the agent last time that I had no more faith in Carrefour's ability to make good on delivery promises and he personally guaranteed that the delivery would come on time.
In short, the delivery was supposed to arrive on June 6th - I waited the entire day and it never arrived. Customer service called me on the morning of the 7th with no apology, simply asking when they could come again. I informed them on Thursday morning and they agreed. I came home after work to find the groceries, most of which perishables, sitting in front of my door. All of the cold items were spoiled. I contacted CS again, they said they would resend the bad items on Sunday before noon. Again, no one showed up. I received calls in the afternoon, and the agent said he would resend. I told him on Tuesday morning before noon. This is now quarter to 1pm and I'm tired of waiting and tired of this unbelievable situation.
I'm emailing the website because no one ever responds to my other emails - I simply get calls asking when they can redeliver.
I ask of whoever reads this message to tell me A) how Carrefour will make up for all my lost time, hassle and inconvenience B) how you will make sure that this kind of service doesn't happen in the future, and C) how I will finally get my order, placed well over a week ago. I continue to patiently wait for a response.

This night june 11, 2017 19:32 lt me and my husband are buying some foods then after we go to cashier to pay that all items, sudenly while paying and my husband putting all the things at the plastic that cashier lady talking to another lady which is nepali also, they are talking in their nepali language she don't know that my husband is a nepali, she's telling that prostitute lady cannot put herself the things inside the plastic, then sudenly my husband get angry and tell to call the police then I ask why, he told me that cashier lady told you that you are a prostitute,, that time I get angry and I call the manager and I complain to that lady. prolonged warranty not being honored
I bought a fridge (toshiba) with prolonged guaranty, the freezer seal was leaking (still is) I have several, several times contacted the supplied number to have it fix. it s been going on for almost 6 months. they came to our home once, without any tools, ripped off the freezer seal to flip it upside down. they just maid it worst. since then, no news, I called many times, they haven t shown up for the schedul appointment, no calls from them, totally useless
foul smell and rude staff
Around 0300hrs today we went to Carrefour Market located in Barsha Heights Tecom adjacent MMA Fitness centre.When we were in checking in the shelves where to shop some cornflakes for breakfast we experienced a very foul smell of something similar to something rotten probably in the freezers or something..It was so heavy and I almost felt like I would vomit.I went back to the counter and let my friend who had accompanied me to do the shopping cs I couldn't handle the disgusting smell.On the counter I came across the cashier by name Mohamed Askour who i approached on very humble tune to enquire why the supermarket was smelly as such which I never encountered before in other carrefour branches..Suprisingly the staffeta was equally rude and even questioned me why I went to search stuffs on that side if there was a smell.I requested to know whether there was a supervisor around I would talk to because the cashier was so ghetto without even an a tip of ethics on how to talk to customers or respond to questions..infact the last word we heard from him was "Kaliwali"which I still have a clue of what he meant..This was appaling on many levels and downgrade of standards exhibited by Carrefour..The experience was a total turn off.

I purchased an iphone 7 last June 3, 2017 @ 8:30 in the evening, I reached home at exactly 10 pm. I opened to try my new phone ... after on hour, 2 hours of charging, the phone has never turned on.. I waited longer cause I thought the battery might just be so drained but NO APPLE LOGO HAD EVER COME OUT... then next day come I went to carrefour deira city center to return or I had actually decided to have it refunded cause i was very frustrated but they did not allow they said it will at least 1 week before they will change.. but my question was why the hell it will take that long? Why? Meaning they will HAVE IT REPAIRED THE DEFECTIVE THAT I RETURNED? One day is enough to check if its working or not.. That phone did not even stays with me for 24 hours if only I didn't buy it late in the evening I could have return it within an hour ..Why carrefour cannot replace it right away.. I'm in a BIG HASSLE ALREADY I've got no phone to use, my money is with them, you are selling a defective item, where is your sense of CUSTOMER SERVICE?

HORRIBLE delivery service! I have bought from Carrefour Spain online grocery delivery many, many times because I like the selection offered...BUT...almost EVERY time the order is delivered there are missing items! The truck pulls up, and the delivery people spend 20 minutes in the truck trying to figure out which baskets are mine. It is amazingly unorganized, compared to other grocery stores. You, Carrefour Spain, is forcing me to either go to another grocery store for delivery, or I must delay your delivery people EVERY time they come here to go through every single item on the list! What a waste of time for me, the customer, for the delivery people, for the company! I have never seen such poor grocery delivery training! The CURRENT order, delivery a little while ago, on this date June 7, 2017, is missing a total of 10.43 euros. Order No. [protected]. Yes, I called customer service, and I was treated badly. I asked if the CS person named Theresa could actually see the order, and she said she cannot! That amazes me! Carrefour does not allow their customer service people to see the items of the order? Instead, the customer has to describe each item and price and amount... Such a poor computer system! I am shocked at Carrefour's organization, both with online use, and with delivery service!

Carrfour mirdif city center...I bought a total of 4 items including the delight sq grill pan. But unfortunately theres no barcode. She doesn't do anything but set aside the item and just told me "no barcode". My other items was just finish to scan. She doesnt even call any staff for assistance instead i go back inside and took another one with barcode. Its fine. But when she just finish my transaction i told her "i have myclub" that supposedly ask me during transaction but she doesnt even care about that. I know my bill was just only 64.10 aed only but i think that was bad customer service. Theres no cue. Theres no rush. No customer after me but she doesnt care about me.

I bought the above microwave in Spain for an apartment we have there but were most surprised that the manual was not in English even though the outer box gave description in English!
I assumed therefore the manual would also include English, if not why not? considering the information on the box.

I purchased a samsung fridge on a 50% discount with the original price of 2, 699 aed on may 19, 2017 in sharjah city center.
I told them to deliver this by may 25, 2017 but they failed to bring it and I ask them to deliver it by may 30, 2017.
Then once again they failed to deliver the item and telling me today that it was not available! Well instead of giving me another specification of fridge with the same price of 2, 699aed they told me to purchase another item! Are you really kidding me?
It was not my mistake from the 1st time as it was on your display promoting your 50% discount and now you tell me to choose and get another one?

On 24/5/2017 I bought a washing machine from carrfour maadi located in cairo, egypt, sales man representative inform me that machine will be delivered during 3 days, on 28/5/2017 carrfour called me that delivery will be on 29/5/2017, but they called me 29/5/2017 that machine will not be delivered today and delivery date in unknown.

I purchased a cooker and its scheduled delivery date is today, it is my weekend and I want to utilize it for my personal activitys.
From 11 AM I been calling the customer service delivery team of Carrefour to know the delivery time and no one is able to provide this information. Now it is 3 PM waitting at home because Carrefour faild to provide the time. I am extremely angry and dissapointed.

Bought new from carrefour and owned it for 8 months only! It stopped working, doesnt cool nor freeze. Woke up to find all frozen items rotten. I contacted carrefour- airport road, however nobody came to fox it. It is still under warranty. I am very disappointed with carreofur and their services. They are very pleased to take your money, when it comes for them to do their actual work, they rest. I nor my family will never purchase anything from carrefour.

I am a regular customer of carrefour since they open in manar mall, this is my first time to encounter salesman like juvy alberto in tv section he is such a very rude salesman im asking about lg tv he keep on telling that brand is not good, then he push me to look on tcl brand which I dont like at all.. When he notice that im not interested to buy tcl he left direct then I saw him talking and flirting only to some sales lady and cashier. I just feel that he is not interested to assist me. I was at your Diera City Centra Outlet in Dubai last week where I encounter with your cashier named Radjai Inceneddine who was very rude, ill-mannered and used some slang words on us in his own language which we could not figure out. He went on adding that we may be thinking his job is easy but its not.
We just want to let you know that we are no where concerned with his/her jobs and they should be conveying that to their management and not to customers. The attitude that the cashier was showing is completely unacceptable. He was staring at us as if he was looking for a conflict. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable.
We made a written complain to the outlet and talked with the manager there. Its been week but we have not been informed about the consequences. In general cases I would have let it gone, but the ill behavior of your cashier is still very clear in my mind and I am not able to get rid of it.
I have attached the copy of complaint I have made and I hope you come back to me on this.

Me & my husband went to Carrefour to buy a washing machine...as there was a good deal and I had a Touch Point vocher from ADCB, if not I wouldn't go there. As we bought the rest of the appliances from Ansar Gallery and they were so accurate on the delivery. We ordered the Samsung washing machine at 21.48 on 12/05/2017..we wanted to be very specific on the delivery as my husband had a flight at 12nn...ideally the w.machine was supposed to be delivered on the 14/05/2017, 3 calls during tge day to the call centre..everyone saying that...it's the delivery people's fault and they are updating the system...bla bla bla...my husband had to stay home the entire day yester and today he has a flight...which he might have to cancel as there is noone else at home...he is travelling to get our kids and mom to Dubai...and it was very important that this washing machine was installed before they arrive. Very disappointing from one of the leading companies and for sure we will not purchase anything else in future...How could the Carrefour not have the numbers of the delivery companies or drivers etc...there is no point in pytting the blame on them...if a date is promised to the client...it shouldnbe delivered...if not, do not mention a accurate date of delivery

Each time I go to Carrefour in Amman galleria mall I find shortage of cashier staff, and therefore there is a big queue on only 2 cashier operating although there are 7 more fully functional empty cashier stands standing by and no one stood to open one and when I asked the manager to open a new cashier, he said the guy on the cashier just went to prayer and he well be back “Not really an excuse “, it happens every time I go there, the hole grocery shopping experience takes about 20 -30 mints but the queue on the cahier also takes 20 mints and the wait ruins it !?
