misleading sales condition
Last week I went to Carrefour Al-Shandagha (dubai) to buy my appliances for my new apartment in dubai. I am new here for just few weeks.
I bought a cooker (Ariston) from there. Yesterday it was delivered to my home. The owner of my house warned me today that it is not safe to use the electric cooker here in dubai because of different loading types of electricity (i mean amperes and volts are not matching) and that the cooker is considered a big load.
Actually, all the people I know here agreed with that opinion.
Today, I requested to exchange my cooker (it is not used) and I made a complaint. However, Carrefour customer service refused to exchange my cooker !
The cooker was just received yesterday. It is not used. It was not my fault and the sales man should warn me against it from the start.

delivery team didn't install the item as agreed while purchasing
I purchase a cooking range from Festival city branch on 11-11-2017. While purchase they told me that the delivery people will install the cooking range.
They deliver on time, but they didn't install it. just keep in my flat and said that, the building people will connect.
It's not fair what you agree and doing different.
Also I got a FOC and later they cancel it . The reason is I went another Carrefour and check with them. I agreed that.

I have used the local Carrefour garage, and the staff have gotten to know our car. Last week, when paying I was told that I owe over 62 Euros for fuel that I had not paid for. I explained it was not use and left it.
When we went again I was handed a note, stating that I owe over 62 Euros, and if I don't pay, legal proceeding will begin.
There is a large fair ground in the town, with a vehicle the same as ours, but ours is English plates, that is Spanish. We have taken photo of the car along with the Spanish Reg, and went to see the Manager within the Store.
Over an hour later, he stated, that I did not owe the money, and its not a problem.
We asked why the staff member had given me the note threatening legal action... He does not Know?
Why was number plates not checked before accusing us of driving off with out paying?
We stated that we have the numberplate for the car in question, and does he want it, to chase payment?
The staff member said to us, that a Denounceia would be made against us.
Through an interpreter, it was asked for compensation, , at least to pay the interpreters time.
Accusation should not be made against an innocent people and be threatened with legal proceeding.

I came today to your customer service to return an item I bought yesterday. Its a babybliss fun style 8 in 1. I want to complain the product as its very useless. Its a piece of garbage. The only thing it does is to heat up but cant even straighten nor curl you hair. This kind of item should not be put in the market as its a big fraud. Selling an item thats not doing what it says it does is a piece of trash. Its not about the money but the use of the item. It is useless

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have just returned home from shopping at Carrefour Market Supermarket with my 4 month old baby. The trip was problematic due to short fallings on the part of Carrefour.
Along with other items I bought a beard trimmer. I took the empty box from the shelf and, after having charged me for everything I wanted to buy the checkout lady explained that somebody would have to go upstairs to find the beard trimmer.
After about 15 minutes, a member of staff came along and said that they did not have the beard trimmer in stock. The lady working on the checkout said that she would refund me the money for the beard trimmer. She asked me if I wanted the money in cash and I said that I would. She then asked me for my bank card. I asked why and she told me that she was going to return the money to my bank account and give me a receipt for the refund. After having given me the receipt she told me that the money could take up to two days to arrive in to my account. I explained that I wasn't happy having to leave the shop with neither access to the my money or the beard trimmers especially after having been made to wait so long. I could see that she was very busy with a huge queue so I asked to speak to somebody else about the issue.
A worker came along after about fifteen minutes and I explained the situation. He then interrupted the checkout ladies work to ask her what had happened and clarify it all before coming back to me to say that he the refund would take up to two days, that it didn't used to be that way but since about two months ago, refunds can take two days. I explained again that I wasn't happy not having the product or access to my money and asked for a complaint form. He looked on the computer to see when the beard trimmer would be in stock. The computer said that they did have it in stock. He sent somebody to look for it again. I asked him whether, if they found it, I would have to pay again, he didn't know and went to ask the checkout lady. She said yes. I said I wasn't happy with that as I didn't want double the cost of the beard trimmer tied up in the process of buying it. I asked for a complaint form.
After at least 10 more minutes, a member of staff appeared with the beard trimmer that I had originally wanted to buy. Even though I had explained that I did not want to pay for them twice and that I was waiting for the complaint form, not the beard trimmer. I explained myself politely again. I explained that I had now been stood by the till for the best part of an hour because of their mistakes and that I didn't want to pay twice for the beard trimmer. One of the workers stated that they weren't machines and that they weren't perfect and that there was nothing to do. They gave me the complaint book but explained that I would have to fill it in there at the till and that it was for the local authorities. I wanted to get in touch with carrefour and take my time to explain the problem so at that point I decided to go home and write a complaint online to carrefour.
The ordeal took up along time and caused a lot of stress. There was confusion as to what was happening to my money and whether the beard trimmers were in stock. I must have been there at the checkout for for almost an hour trying to explain myself and waiting for solutions which never came.
I believe that this type of service should be compensated for financially. I am a working farther and as a result I do equate time to money. I feel that negligence and an unorganised, unprofessional methodology on carrefour's part has caused me stress, anxiety and wasted my time.

I feel I should also mention that the queues are usually in excess of 15 minutes in carrefour market, Cadiz. While I was waiting by the till today a lady got trapped in the toilet because the door (handle I presume) wasn't working and the shopping that was being prepared to be delivered to addresses was in blocking access to customer's shopping carts so I had to help elderly people move the shopping to get to their shopping cart on more than one occasion.

dominican republic carrefour employees being taken advantage of by carrefour or?
As an American who does business in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic frequently I love the store and am always impressed with service.
I do have a problem with the hours worked by numerous employees. I spoke to many employees and was shocked to learn that some work 12 hours a day 6 days a week.
Is this normal and/or necessary or is Carrefour taking advantage of the Dominican People. Dominicans work very hard for very little money and I was shocked and saddened to hear this from numerous employees.
I am curious to know if Carrefour is taking care of its employees or taking advantage of them.

Lebanon, city center branch 1st of november 2017 7:30pm .. i just fought an hour and a half of horrible beirut traffic with my wife and my newborn baby to do our routine monthly shopping, and after an hour of piling up products.. i was surprised with the supervisor or manager showing up at the pay out cashier telling me i can not buy more than 5 items of each product, the graciously extending it to 7 ... so most of my stuff were put back . There was no sign of how many items i should buy . It was ridiculous.. definitely my last time going there.. whats the point if i can only get food for my cat and my dogs that can only last me for few days..

We waited in line because there was no sign that cashier 23 is close. When it was our turn, He refuses to check out our goods because he said he is already close.
We transferred to the next cashier while he is just looking at us. We waited in line again and I looked at him and saw that his register is not close and still processing other customer's goods!
He clearly doesn't want to work or choose not to work while on time of duty. Better give him rest and send him to his home country.
Please do not tolerate this kind of attitude.

Yesterday 20/10/2017 at approximately 21:35, I locked my bicycle at the bike park area in carrefour Murcia, Spain. Which was stolen, I used a lock which I purchased in Carrefour.
When I realised my bicycle had been stolen, I found security staff who offered no assistance and told me to go to the police. I asked if there was any cameras and the staff didn't know. I found the whole situation very stressful due to the way it was handled by the staff.
I was offered no help and no apology and I am very disappointed with the service.

Complaint Against Carrefour-Egypt
On Monday August 14, 2017 at 11:30 AM (Alexandria local time), I was in Carrefour (Al-Orouba Mall of the West Coast of Alexandria- Egypt) doing some shopping. While I was walking in, I slipped on the floor in one of the passages. The reason is that there was a big spill of water on the floor of which I did not take notice. But it was too late anyway; for I fell suddenly on the ceramic ground causing me severe injuries. Certainly, it was not my fault; the spot of water - which was about 50 cm in diameter - was covering the ceramic ground and it was difficult for a person to recognize the difference.
I am sure you agree with me that this irresponsible attitude on the part of the responsible staff in Carrefour and their clear negligence towards your clients was the reason of this crime. Warning signs, barriers or partitions should have been put when washing the floors.
It came to my knowledge later that this happened many times before to other clients.
The personnel of Carrefour tried to free themselves completely from the responsibility involved, and offered me a wheel-chair so that with the help of my accompanying husband Prof. Dr. Omar Sebakhy (Professor Emeritus of Alexandria University) I could reach for our car.
Although the pain was hardly bearable, I went for a check-up the next day (Tuesday Aug 15, 2017) to a near-by hospital, to discover that there is a fracture in the neck femur bone. We hurried to the city of Alexandria seeking an expertise in orthopedic surgery. Thanks God, I was introduced the same day to Al-Shrook Hospital in the Gleim district of Alexandria, to be operated upon on Aug 17. The surgeon opted for a cemented total hip replacement. After leaving the hospital on Saturday August 19-2017, I was put under further medication care and physiotherapy.
Now, beside the physical and the psychological pain, and more the interruption of our annual holiday, I incurred the amount of LE 63, 000 (doctor fees LE 30, 000 + Hospital fees LE 16, 000 together with the artificial joint price LE 17, 000).
I consider Carrefour-Egypt completely responsible for the above harms and losses which were caused to me. I am therefore bringing to your notice the whole story and how Carrefour-Egypt abuses customers rights, but above all, misusing and exploiting the complicated and lengthy procedures of the Egyptian legal system, and of course in so doing tarnishes Carrefour reputation.
N.B. I have with me all the supporting documents.

A Second Complaint against CARREFOUR-Egypt
The above complaint was submitted to you around Aug. 19, 2017, after which I received two telephone calls on Aug 23 and Aug 30 from Mr Mohamad Mahmoud in the Customer Service. In his last call, Mr Mahmoud asked me to provide all the relevant documents related to my claim and which I did on September 6, 2017 at Al-Ouroba Mall of the West Coast of Alexandria. All documents were handed over by my husband Dr Omar Sebakhy. Although we were assured that we shall hear from the personnel in charge before the end of September, we haven’t heard from them until now. So, we called the customer service on Oct. 15 to enquire about the status of my complaint. The person who received my call told me that Mr Mahmoud is in a meeting and that he will call me back, which he never did. I called again on Oct.17, but the new excuse was that Mr. Mahmoud is vacating? I called another official of CARREFOUR-Egypt called Ahmad Hosni who happened to witness the accident. Again he never answered my call. I wonder whether this is the way CARREFOUR-Egypt attends to its customers.
On Sept.7, I suffered another fracture again in the femur bone; due to complications from the first operation, so on Sept. 8, I went through a second major operation for fixing a plate. I filed electronically a new complaint with CARREFOUR-Egypt on Sept. 25, 2017 under #C319ce, yet again with no response on their part.
As you can see, the service I got from CARREFOUR-Egypt is not acceptable and tarnishes CARREFOUR reputation, and simultaneously abuses my rights as a customer.
Instead of sympathizing with my case in view of the physical and psychological pains I have suffered because of CARREFOUR-Egypt's staff irresponsibility and negligence, they still behave with the same unethical and inconsiderate attitude towards their clients.

I bought a car charger for a mobile phone in Hesdin and when I got home to our cottage in Raye-Sur-Authie, I tried it but it doesn't work. I took the trouble to take it back to Carrefour to get it replaced and the lady I spoke to was very rude( probably because I'm from England) and from what I can gather is that she wasn't willing to replace the item!
I have the receipt and the item in question and would like. A full refund, as I have had to buy another car charger elsewhere!

open hours of the store
Yesterday evening I went with my boyfriend to that store to do some shopping. We knew this is one of the fewest store that will be open on Sunday evening. We walked for 20 min to get there to find out that for whatever reason is already closed (it was 20:20) even though it should have been open until 21:00. Few other customers were there not able to enter and really surprised because store should be still open. I tried to ask someone from inside what's going on and why is it closed bit no one would speak with me, literally ignoring me anD just rudely gesturing to me that it's closed and they don't give a [censor] about it. I have been shopping at Carrefour stores daily but after such an incident I am changing my stores immidiately. That unexplainable, rude and unrespectable behaviour should neither be accepted from your side and there should be consequences for the workers for such a behaviour.
home food delivery only half delivered
Yesterday (14/10/17) I had a home delivery (in Barcelona) organised between 4-6pm.
The delivery man arrived at 3.30, but only brought one box to the door. He said he would return with another box. I live on a second floor flat so by the time I looked on my balcony he and his van had disappeared. I am missing 18 perishable and frozen items which comes to 31.27 euro. Last Sept 18 2017 I buy this LG Mobile the promoter just to me the display piece which he say it's on sale because it's open box already but he said it's in good condition and he didn't tell me any rules and regulation in buying open box item and not even 1 week I return the item because battery is very fast to drain they didn't accept it to change because it's open box and it's on sale OK fine they justsend it to service center after 2 weeks service center send me message that it's fixed and when go there to collect it become more worst when we open the mobile it's 100 ℅ full battery and when im looking at the mobile it's like a clock dropping battery status every second battery status is getting less so I didn't take it and the person in the service center told me he will call me by the next day regarding it but I don't receive a call instead I receive again message that my mobile is under repair again and now again almost 1 week again still no news on the phone I buy im very very disappointed that I buy mobile because my old mobile is not functioning well already but the almost 1 month already it's on service center. I have been a regular and loyal customer to UAE Carrefour chains, particularly those located in Dalma Mall and Yas Mall Abu Dhabi.
However as a strict vegetation I would like to bring to your attention the lack of vegetation options you have available, in particular the 'Quorn' brand.
