I have been a customer of this store for over 2 and a half years since moving to sanremo.
I would like to make a formal complain about this carrefour market store manager and store staff currently employed at this store.
Today a very disturbing incident happened this morning to us with the cashier her name was angela.
This particular cashier has some sort of a personal issue with us, everytime she sees us shopping at the store.
We have been purchasing our groceries since we have been living in sanremo and after todays incident we are no longer going to shop at this store ever again.
After 2 and a half years of shopping angela the cashier desides to disappear from the register while she was the only cashier working at the time alone in the store today, while their were at least 15 customers waiting to be served after us.. She disappeared with our the bread we had already had weight and priced ready for the cashier, instead of scanning the item like every other cashier has done for the past 2 and a half years she decided to go and check to see if the bread we weight matched to sticker.
When angela came back my father questioned her about what she did and why she took our bread she told us to our face that she re weigh the bread as practically treated us like thieves infront of at least another 15 or more customers behind us waiting to be served. She started arguing at the counter with an arrogant voice talking over the top insulting us of being from south of italy terrone... Nothing to do with her rotten treatment accusing us of practically stealing bread and making us look like criminals infront of staff and many customers.
Then the manager started raising his voice to us and telling us that we are the rude ones and maladucati.? My father told the manager and the angela the cashier we have been customers of this store for nearly three years and she is the only cashier that controls leaves the cash register to weight our groceries and bread like as if we a thieves or look like criminals.
This woman angela should retire she has no approach with customer she is arrogant, rude and abusive and the store manager is exactly the same.
The store manager on the other hand has no management skills no approach skills and raises his voice to customers and to staff members infront of customers about private store issues... Its happened many times leaving me as a customer shocked to hear and see how this manager runs this store like and animal.
We are not the only customers being abused by this store manager, few weeks ago we walked in and the same store manager with in a huge litigation with other customers screaming and arguing and verbally abusing the customers told them to leave the store like animals and threatened to call the police and told the customer to go [censor] his mother and grandmother.
The same store manager tall and angry man told me to go [censor] my mother and or grandmother this morning in front of other staff on duty and infront of a store full of customers at the cash registers, this made me loose my cool as any normal customer would do when an animal like this manager has the nerve to speak to his customers like this he is not fit to be a store manager. I told him he and his cashier had no right to accuse us and treat us today and humiliate us infront of staff and customers like as if we were a bunch of theives stealing bread that we purchased including other groceries...
This store manager including angela have no customer service skills they are aggressive with customers and dont give a [censor] what you think. They make their own policies based on the customer preference.
The gastronomia in this store is another a complete mess the staff is rude and makes you wait to be served even if their are no customer or even if they are not doing anything. They never greet you or thank you at the counter as they should. No one in this store seems to have any approach they seem all angry and not happy to help if you need their assistance.
Another is with the same store manager I had few weeks back when my father purchased minced meat veal, that by the time we brought it home and put it in a pan we could smell that it was acidic so my father told me to return it as it smelt like vomit. When I returned to complain about the meat that smelt like vomit the same tall manager with his aggressive approach came over to inspect the meat questioned me about it and insisted the meat was fine and that the meat was not acidic and did not stick like [censor]. I told him I have purchased me all my life and cooked meat including my father that cooks every day we know when meat is off and stinks like [censor]. He refused to accept the meat was not good he started arguing with me in the store once again infront of other staff members that I dont understand anything about fresh meat, the butchers also insulted me at the counter in the store insisting that the meat they sold me was fine and was not acidic, I didnt want to argue so I purchased another type of meat instead but the store manager was a complete [censor] that made a huge scene and humiliated me once again in the store at the front infront of a store full of customers.
One other problem with this store is I have noticed on numerous occasions that the offerte that are pinned on the products are not discounted at the register, I have been ripped off many times by this stores false offerte, they always have the same excuse that the staff forgot to take the tag off the shelf which I find is complete bull [censor]. I beleive this store is ripping of customers and tourists with false adviertising offerte that are not under offerte at the counter and are not discounted as they should be discounted by law as they are advertised in the store as per the ticket on the shelf.
The gastronomia area the machine that slices the salami and ever y other ham etc in my opinion is always dirty I have never seen it being cleaned that some times makes me sick to even buy any salumi because of the lack of hygene and staff that look like they dont give a [censor] about the job they are doing.
I think this store manager and staff such as angela the cashier should be investigated together with a number of other staff members that should either retire or resign and hand over their position to people that need a job that have the correct skills to run a supermarket with professional customer service skills not run a supermarket by staff and store management that look like they are alway s angry, aggressive and abusive towards their precious customers...
This store has alot of problems in my eyes as a customer that has travelled the world has has worked in supermarkets.
Some one should take my complaint serious and investigate the entire store most importantly the store manager and staff members like angela.
Its disgraceful what they did to us in that store today. And by the way your salumi in this store look like [censor]. Some look black and im sure some customers will end up in the hospital if they eat your salumi and other products in the gastronomia section of the store.
I suggest that manager stops abusing his customers and telling them to go [censor] their mother and or grandmother at the first opportunity to start an argument with a customer when he is being confronted by something that has been done incorrectly by the store..
Just rememeber the customer is always right in every part of the world and should be treated with respect. This store manager does not know what respect is and his staff are all the same. Rude and arrogant miserable store to do your groceries. I will never shop at this store ever again and I will pass on the message to as many people as possible what this manager and staff did to me today in the store without any motive to abuse us humilate us as possible thieves and make racist comments of being terrone from southern italy.
Still store will only give a bad reputation to carrefour market if you continue to hold on to the same store manager and staff members that should retire or resign if they are not willing to work at carrefour and to treat customers with respect and to do their job correctly following the correct policies.
Rotten manager and rotten staff should be fired immediately. Investigate and you will see what really happens in this store.

I bought a Carrefour chocolate from Al Muneera Carrefour express on 26 September. Upon opening it, it felt very soft (not melted, but unusually soft) and tasted a little odd. I then noticed some lines of white dots like substance, which looked like mould/fungus.
The expiry is only in Dec 2017, batch/lot no. L6342 XJ
This is the first time I'm buying a 'Carrefour' brand chocolate so I'm not sure if this is the usual to expect (?)
So I took it back to the store to check/complain but the store assistant told me, he cannot exchange or give me a refund. He offered another chocolate bar of the same brand however, which was just the same !
I'd like to ask if this is the normal quality of these chocs ?
I believe there's something wrong with the lot ?
Is this ok to consume ?!

on saturday 9th of september 2017 i bought my grocery including from carrefour marina mall; Abu dhabi in UAE. when i reached home and wanted to make salad; i found out that the lettuce i bought i rotten; next day i went to carrefour and made a complain about it. after few days i received a call for the vegetables and fruits section manager in carrefour marina; i explained to him and he said that he will check with his management and get back to me. since that i did not hear from him or from any one from carrefour. is this how the customer service should deal with clients complaints?

We went to Kenya Carrefour Store at 9:11am on Sept. 30, 2017 to buy some coffee and later I found I have been overcharged for over 4000 KES which is ridiculous! More details as below:

grievance: repair of my nexus 5x on extended warranty
Dear Sir,
My Nexus 5X suddenly became dead and it was under extended warranty. I submitted my device to Carrefour, Jimi Mall in Al Ain on 4th September 2017. They told me initially that I would get my device delivered back after repairing within 3 to 4 weeks. 4 weeks has already passed and I went to Carrefour Jimi Mall today and they didn't give satisfactory reply. I am frustrated due to this reluctant and unpunctual service without keeping timeline.
I am already suffering without smart phone for 4 weeks and God only know when my device will be delivered back after repairing.
I attach herewith customer repair slip and invoice with extended warranty for ready reference.
Please resolve this matter and kindly advise what exactly status of my device is, and how soon I can get the device back.

My laptop was under extended warranty and I give (29/07/2017) it for screen repairing after on collection (22/08/2017)I realised they damage it more, I told them it's their fault but the insurance company and repairing company refused to accept that till local carrefour manager involved after they accept to repair and change a back cover, after they call me and told me it's ready and they confirm BACK COVER BEAN CHANGED. But it was a lie I had a proof they did not do that, they lie big lie and I refuse to accept that and now till now (28/09/2017) still waiting to get my laptop. I am so angry they try to cheat me, this is carrefour fault. They should deal with trusted companies. This happen to me in Carrefour Mirdiff, Dubai, UAE. Staff know my case in that branch. Please some one do something it's more than a 2 month. Now I live in UK and my laptop still In UAE.

selling of spoiled nz lamb meat & unprofessional handling by management

Bought 50 JD worth of meat of NZ lamb on eve on 9/21. Meat was bad & smelled awful. I washed/drained the meat to remove the stink but at no luck. Returned it on am of 9/22 & shocked by Mr. Maher Azzam unprofessional handling of my complaint. Despite concurrence by passing -by customers' that meat was 'not good' and 'won't cook it for being bad'. Mr. Azzam insisted that meat was good & got his confirmation from standing-by supervisors/employees. He stated he was even going to put it back for sale (even though it left the store) as the smell is normal & is from being in vacuum packaging (which is NOT the case) and that I should not have washed the meat. I've been consuming NZ lamb all my life in US & in Jordan & did buy frequently from Carrefour, Irbid. He did offer to refund me the price without trying to resolve my situation by offering good NZ meat or other acceptable type of meat, which forced me to go to safeway & buy the meat there. I asked for 3 JD (5 USD) for my round trip taxi fare & were told the GM, Mr. Tareq Boshedeed needs to approve. I kept waiting to speak w/GM but he did not show & I had a dinner to buy meat for & to prepare. I did ask for him to call me & GM did not. Needless to say, this is NOT the type of handling I expect when shopping at my Carrefour store. I just recently moved to Madrid in the Lavapies neighborhood. The location of the store is Ronda de Valencia, 2, 28012 Madrid
My receipt shows I paid at 19:37. I was at register 6. The cashier was a shorter, younger bald guy with black hair.
Everything was fine this visit until I went to pay for my items. The cashier was not paying attention and talking with the security guard. I used my credit card and I knew I had to sign for it. Every time I have visited there, the cashiers always have me sign it on the conveyor belt. I told the guy I would sign it over there and he put down the receipt and threw the pen down at me. I signed the receipt and then threw the pen back at the guy and told him never to throw a pen at people and that I did not appreciate what he had done. He then hopped up off the chair he was sitting on and took 1 step closer to me. I did not want to get into a fight at this store, but if he had taken any more steps closer to me, I would have hit him. Even the security guard that he was talking to told him to stop. His behavior is unacceptable! I will not be treated like this. There are plenty of other supermarkets in the Lavapies area. If I decide to shop here again, I want an apology from this cashier.

Having completed an online order, with the order no. mentioned above, the delivery of the items was supposed to be on the 16/09/17 between 14.00-16.00 lt. Payment was made through my credit card, however the delivery was never made. At around 18.30 on Sep 16th I gave a call to the customer service call cente in UAE to resolve my issue. I was told that Carrefour was facing difficulties on the day with the deliveries and that my case would be resolved asap. If that was the case, the professional approach would have been for a carrefour representative to call and inform me about the delivery delay. Nonetheless it is understandable that sometimes unforseen circumstamces can occur, so I trusted that my stuff would be delivered by the night as I was told on the phone. The situation continued like this with undelivered items, multiple calls were made again and again to the call centre, and the issue was not resolved. The ONLY answer i was getting from the call centre staff, was that "somebody would call me back", which never occured.
Today, Sep 17th, I called the call center repeatedly, since my items are still pending on delivery without any update or notification from any carrefour staff, which is completely unprofessional for the name and image of CARREFOUR. Like yesterday, the answers from the call centre staff was the same, that i would receive a call from SOMEBODY from the appropriate department and that my situation would be resolved. Until now, the situation has not been resolved and my delivery is still pending. My patience has been running out and I feel unappreciated by carrefour staff!
I made the online order as I have a very serious reason which makes me physically unable to visit the supermarket and I am in real need for the items to be delivered to my house! I was relying and looking up to the reputation of Carrefour fort his kind of help and service but saddly I was more than greatly disappointed. It is devastating to be stuck in a house without any water and food to eat due to Carrefour's unreliability in this matter! I have been dedicated to the product that carefour has been delivering for many years and I have always considered it as my first choice amongst other similar brands, however, after this experience I am left with no choice but to explore competitor brands who are more reliable!
As a service recovery, I would only be satisfued witha full refund on my ordered items and a delivery free of charge due to the huge inconvenience considering my current circumstances, unprofessional handling of the issue by carrefour staff and my time alocation to try and figure out a solution for this isuue!

On 13 Nov 2017 20:50 in the Carrefour Express Via Santa Caterina Da Siena, 1 H, 50123 Firenze, Italy I was charged on my credit card three times for the same bill. The cashier actually tried twice contactless and said it had not worked. The third time using a pin code she said it had worked. I supply photos of the bill and the three credit card receipts.

Hello there. On Tuesday, August 11th, I bought a Toshiba-Satellite laptop from the display section and paid 1439 tl( 350€) including the three year insurance. I was told that there was no problem when I bought it, and that only the charge cable was missing. I also paid 89 tl (21€)for a charge cable.
The next day, I went to Istanbul Technical University, Computer Center, where I work as a lecturer, to install office programs and make the laptop work. Today, on Thursday, 13.08.2017, an IT engineer called me and said, "The Laptop has a problem with its processor, that the programs can not be loaded and some keys do not work, and it is better to request a refund".
When I called CarrefourSa Nautilus, the attendant told me that they would not be able to refund or change it or repair the laptop products because the package was opened, it should be send to the Toshiba service and reported (package is already open, because it was a display product).
When we called the Toshiba service, they replied: "please send it to "Sefakoy" by cargo". (It is 44 minutes by car, one hour and 34 minutes by bus, 39 kms from my home)
When we came to Carrefoursa Nautilus with the insurance document, the lady at the complaint desk said: "We do not take back the laptop at all, you will give it to the cargo and if the service writes a report, we can do something". My questions are:
1. As someone who has been shopping a lot from Carrefour for many years, is it wrong to expect a better service?
(customer loyalty, customer satisfaction ?)
2. Why do not you inform the customers about the product failure during its sale but I am forced to take it to the other side of the city, not the Carrefoursa's?
3.Why do not you take, how busy the customers can be, into account?
4. Am I going to pay for the cargo after all?
5. I bought the laptop from you, not from Toshiba. I have your insurance. If you accept your guarantee, why do I lose time, energy and money with the service?

I brought a samsung 55" smart curved tv from carrefour located in mall of Emirates.( Trans no-[protected]) on 10/9/17.I made a card payment and requested them for a delivery to which they promised to be delivered next day by evening 1600 hrs.
The next day i kept waiting till 16:00 hrs making various calls to their coustomer care. As i was worried. Everytime i got an answer that we will update you regarding the delivery. As i was here for vacation my entire day was wasted waiting for the delivery. After 1600 hours too various calls were made to customer care and i got the same answer. And at the last i was told that i can not get the delivery. The next day by 11:00 am i have to check out from my hotel to leave for the airport. And then i was told that by morning 10:00 my tv will be delivered. After all this do you think i can trust on them. Pathetic experience. I had to made calls from the hotel as i did not have a personal number. Mental torture i had to go thru. Would never ever reccomend anyone carrefour. Complaint - hdmi port not working.

I bought a window air condition from carrefour on 26/8/2017, and deleivery & installation next day, the deleivery came next day, but the installation came the day after.. I wait more than 48 hours.
After installing I found the A/C is with out net from out side.. and no water nozel from back side. (see the picture). I am disapointed about this but this what happened. I want you to check if it's from the dealer or hour staff.

On 19 August 2017, I bought brand new Lenovo (YOGA 720-13IKB/Lenovo) from your branch at Mall of the Emirate. The laptop was packed and I did not open it as I was in hurry and there was delay to find it at your store.
Unfortunately, I did not have chance to open the box until I arrived to London and to my surprised I found the Lenovo Active Pen was missing even though the box was there but empty.
I am sure you agree with me this is not acceptable specially with the excellent reputation you have.

tv installation / useless customer care team
Bought a AED 3k television 2 weeks ago and received confirmation of delivery and installation on 28 August (yesterday)
Television was delivered yesterday and delivery guys said someone from the supplier will be here at 5pm to install the television.
4 calls made to your customer service team from 4pm (to confirm the installation was indeed happening as I hadn't received a call confirming the time as was only verbally told from the delivery guys) again at 5pm, 5.30 and 6.30pm. Approx 7pm receive a call from your customer service team telling me the installation team only work until 5pm! Why didn't your team know this information? At no point yesterday would your team allow me to speak to a manager which is the poorest level of customer service as they had shown themselves to be incapable of resolving a problem which has now escalated to a complaint. All they could do is tell me how sorry they were and this is not an acceptable level of service and understand my frustrations. Having bought 3 TV's previously over the last 4 years from carrefour the TV's were delivered and installed by the same people so clearly whatever you've changed in your processes isn't working. This morning, after yet another call to your customer service team, finally they said they would get a manager to call me back. She was as incompetent as the rest of your customer service team...telling me she has spoken to the supplier and they will try to get someone out today t install the television.
You've had 2 weeks to organise delivery and installation and I'm not interested in your processes as clearly they are ineffective and certainly not customer friendly.
At a time when customer service is paramount and the great companies are customer centric focused clearly Carrefour is unable to deliver any type of service level to maintain and keep their customer service database returning to repeat spend.
Still nearly 24 hours after receipt of delivery your team cannot find a solution. I have made the customer service manager (Kiran) aware that should she not find a resolution to the installation within the next hour I want a full refund and you can collect the television. I will not be shopping any longer at Carrefour and will take to social media to make others aware of the utterly poor service received from your team. Case number 662607
