daewoo, water dispenser, complaint against the salesman
Hello,
Yesterday evening I visited your carrefour store in manar mall, ras al khaimah. I wanted to buy a water dispenser. regret to inform that I had the most insulting customer service experience in the uae.
Item - daewoo dw-hn10g w-dispenser, bar code - [protected], transaction number. [protected]
When I went to the area where different types of water dispensers kept, I asked two salesmen to help. later someone called the responsible salesmen (ibrahim) to help me. however he did not pay proper attention to me. instead, he was going behind the people wearing local dress code. I was still waiting for him to come & explain the availability of dawoo item. instead of that he went for a break leaving me abruptly. once I finalized the item with another salesmen, he went looking for ibrahim as he was responsible for the item sale. ibrahim was angry & out of his frustration he told there is no stock & offered the display piece. even that billing documents was not done properly, at the check out security guard had to call duty manager for authorization to release item. (by now I have already spent around an hour with my family) I explained what happened to duty manager & requested him to check if there is no stock available. when checked he noticed that there are two pieces available in the stock.
I was astonished even duty manager did not offered any apology or replacing the item from store. I carried the display piece with my family.
I humbly request you to take necessary action not to repeat this again. because I do not want another human being to have the same insulting experience in this country. we all have very high respect for this country's respect for all human beings.

I regret to inform you that your delivery timings and quality in Dubai Sports branch is extremely bad, your staff often lies with the timings and it easily takes more than 90 Minutes for delivery within the vicinity of your outlet in Dubai Sports city.

I purchased fridge on 3jan2017, but this was not working and i complained on 8th April and they took the fridge on 11th April and on 21st April without any repair. I complained same day then they took the fridge after 4 days and delivered today i.e 1st May 2017 and fride still not working no cooling instead hot air.. This pathetic situation and frasted me how they are doing repair and doing inspection. Even i made daily call to carrefour and their vendor they are paying no attention. Today i went to carrefour to register complain and they are saying they will ask the vendor to repair...so it looks they
Will repeat same procedur there is no strict actions fron after sale. So spent 3weeks without fridge and for them its normal procedure.
Fridge was purchased from Carrefour Ajman.
I request if someone can take action on this problem.

price on shelf vs real price
Dear sir at Carrefour
This is to inform you that today at 21:03, I was buying few items from carrefour in Dubai sports city.
Surprisingly and after making a comparison only between 2 items I bought (fruits) the prices which I paid for was more than the shelf price.
I am not sure if this is a general rule your respectful company apply on all your products because I didn't check all items on invoice but I did only for 2 items where both items showed higher prices on system!
I am a member in your loyalty club but honestly what happened doesn't show any loyalty from Carrefour towards your customers.

unprofessional behavior of one of your salesmen of your electronics section who were in a red uniform with Majd al futtaim ID badge at evening, he even don’t have a basic knowledge of their product and poor communication . Its okie but why he was very rude to me ? He was acting like busy but nothing and rudeness. Rude and arrogant is the way the conversation went between me and your salesman. don't know if you encourage your salespeople to behave in this manner, but I find it completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

I had a bad experience with carrefour customer care representatives at KSA-Jeddah / Flamengo mall.
my conclusion from the below experience:
1) carrefour customer service crew is not qualified to safe carrefour reputation.
2) I will not go to carrefour any more, and I will advise all my friends to do the same.
here is my experience:
I purchased a wireless mouse from Carrefour KSA-Jeddah / Flamengo Mall.
I found it not working properly
I went the second day to customer service representative to return it back and get my money.
I had to go through long argument to convince them it is not working.
I connected it to their PC and showed them the problem clearly.
Finally, after wasting my time he said "this is because it is cheap item / which for me means that carrefour is selling bad items to his customers although carrefour knows it is bad!
simply the supervisor told me he is not convinced / what should I do if he is not aware of technology, what if he do not know what is the mouse functions. It is not my fault.
the customer representatives and his supervisor were talking to me as I am a thief coming to steal their money, and I am not trusted.
at the end I fed up and told them, my time worse more rather than wasting with you.
I left the mouse, the bill for them and left.

Having purchased the above mentioned product I'm disappointed to inform you that the product has failed after only two mo the of usage. Initially I thought that it was the batteries that just needed replacing tout it transpires that that wasn't the issue, the product has just failed even after having replaced the batteries twice. Before this happened I was singing your companies praise at providing reasonably priced dental products however I now feel as though that I can not do, this with a clear conscience!
cashier's attitude
I was in Carrefour planning to buy some foods more of a mouth sweetening foods. When I was at the cashier, the employees asked me to pay in smaller notes when i was at that time really doesn't have any smaller notes. But then he forcedly wants me to pay in smaller notes. However, what upsets me is that the person before me also pays in bigger notes when actually she also buys just a few things. Oh i forgot to mention that the cashier is a guy and he's arab, the customer before me is a woman and arab. while I'm a guy and an asian. I feel the sense of RACISM and SEXISM there! i really do and I'm highly offended by it! I pay too and I'm a customer too. this happens in one of your store in Egypt Suncity Mall. I highly recommend you guys to take some actions there. No staff in fact no person have to be racist and sexist!

I have complained 15-20 times, took my washing machine 5 times for repair BUT still the problem remain same.
Please the attached pics of today wash, receipt is also attached.
All school dress, child dress, etc are getting damage at every wash., Already this washing damaged many clothes.
I don’t to write big email, no need for more and hope you guys are professional and will understand the condition.
I Will not allow any more repair, request you to change the machine asap.

Be aware of their Myclub points system. Last month because of some problem at cashier, I had to go to their customer service counter to ask them to put the points manually into my account. When I logged into my account, I found the points in my account were different from my receipt. Basically there are 500 points hiding in my account and the credit voucher issuing was deleted many times. When I pointed these out to them, they told me they would report it to head office and they would fix it within a week. Now after a month they offer no solution, but they did change their Myclub viewing windows. You no longer can see your points or voucher history. Surely it's more convenient for them to take your points away without traces. Luckily I took some screen shots before they changed it. Hopefully DED will look into their system soon.

08/04/17 doing my weekly shop I visited the meat counter to purchase 2 steaks, I asked the 'butcher' for 2 steaks about 4cm thick. The butcher 'prepared' the steaks from a larger joint, wrapped them and gave them to me. The cost, €30. When I went to take the steaks out of the fridge in preparation for cooking, imagine my dismay to see that one steak was between 6-7 cm thick, cut at an angle with one edge about 2cm thick, the other steak was 3cm thick going down to 1 cm thick. Impossible to cook! And on top of that they were covered in shards of bone where it had been 'hacked'. Sadly the cost of a taxi to return the meat would be more than the meat is worth.
I am disgusted, this has ruined special meal and would like to hear Carrefour thoughts?

Hi All,
I have purchased IPhone 6S Plus from Carrefour Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Granada branch, on 01/04/2017 22:52, Salesman 9302157 AbdulRahman with cost SR 1749.00 .
I have decided to buy that device as the seller told me that there is an offer on the price and that was the last day to buy in.
Unfortunately, I found that there is an offer starting from today (05/04/2017) and the device price decreased by SR 200.00 (SR. 1549.00) and I bought the device with its original price !
The device is still in its case, it is neither used nor opened. I called Carrefour Saudi Arabia Call Center on 05/04/2017 and created a complaint number: 14285. I received a call from Carrefour Garnada branch stating that it is not possible to return the device nor refunding the difference because this complaint is reported after 3 days from purchasing.
I am not satisfied from this answer and feedback, specially that the seller told me that there is an offer in the time of purchase and there was not actually. I figured that out today!
That is not the right attitude from Carrfour, they apply policy of purchasing to not refund after 3 days in the time that wrong information is provided to customers during purchase.
Kindly support me in that complaint.

I have purchased, from Carrefour City Center Beirut, outdoor Set Steel Textile (table with 4 chairs) and two other Steel Folding Chairs, and was informed that they were guaranteed for 1 year.
Two weeks later the chairs textile of the set starts shredding. Afterward, the mechanism of the two folding chairs was broken. Though they are not frequently used; -in summer, we move to another location, and in winter, outside weather is rarely good.
I tried to contact Carrefour, they told me that the one in charge is not available and took my name and phone number to contact me later… but they never did.
So my husband called again to see if they can be repaired, they told him that we had only one week to exchange; they did not ask to check any of the damaged items to see if it can be refurbished. This has been very upsetting.
This is certainly not the quality that we expected from Carrefour, nor from their after-sale service. This is totally disparate to CARREFOUR GROUP’S BELIEFS.
hoover washing machine
On 29th march I went to carrefour burjuman centre and ordered and paid for a hoover washing machine. The delivery was supposed to be done on saturday. Thursday while at work in the morning I got a call from carrefour saying they wrongly sold me an item which is not in stock! And wanted me to go there and select another one which is similar. Later I called them again to find out whether I can go without the original bill since I wanted to stop by the store on the way back from office and obviously I didnt carry the bill to work. They kept the call on hold for 10 or 15 min for the merchandiser to come and I hung up the line seeing no response.
In the evening I stopped by the store and the merchandiser apologised for the mistake, I chose another one and told him I dont have the bill and I was then taken to customer service desk. I was surprised to see them declining to offer the exchange saying I have to come back again with the bill. I refused to do so stating you have to find a solution because this is your cumulative faults. They were trying to blame the merchandiser without taking ownership of the mistake. If carrefour doesnt want to recruit own employees and save cost by keeping only merchandisers to deal with customers, then they can't disown them when they make a mistake! Finally they send their driver next day to collect the bill and return new item bill.
The frustration doesnt end there. Since the date on which they promised the delivery (1 apr) I have been following up on the same and it all came about as an april fool joke! When I call, the customer service agents talk like machines at length while I keep wondering how they are offering a solution. 2 days and they are still investigating.. All about a washing machine!
Today morning I got a call from a gentleman saying he's calling from jashanmal (Wow.. Thats another retailer!) and he has a washing machine to deliver. I told him to come by 5pm and by that time I will be home. He says no, in your area we dont do delivery in the evening but morning only. I told him I cant take leave to take delivery of a washing machine which was originally scheduled to be delivered on saturday morning (Weekend). He said his supervisor will call me back and no one called. Just now I called that number again and this guy was arguing that he called me yesterday while I see no missed call, and that he cant deliver today or any day in the evening. I told him that I will cancel my order.
I am going back home to take the bill and then to carrefour to cancel the purchase. But how will I get compensated for this nerve-wracking experience and all the time, money and trouble taken to go back n forth? I am so disappointed with this company and god willing, I will never go there again other than to pick up some fish!

Unfortunately and I believe due to industrial defect with the charging slot, I return it back to after sales counter on 20th/03/2017. I call the contact center to follow up with them to get any update about my laptop because I am travelling for 7 days, but they said that I have to wait for customer service call.
I am requesting to replace my laptop, because it just new and such damage happen and till this moment completed 10 days at maintenance !
