Tracker device that has been faulty for over 9 months
I have a tracker in my fiat uno divice svr serial number is cd17936, this divece was installed on the 19/06/2021. The technicians name was melford technician code ctpt160, this device was working for the first three months then we could not pick it up on our cartrack app that we used to check our vehicles, we phoned in numerous times for cartrack to get it sorted but still today 24/06/2022 the device is still not working. We refused to pay for the contract, cartrack accounts then placed a fund tracker on our account on the 15/06/2022 my husbands account got debited with r2000 to cartrack. I phoned in today on [protected] to test the device and was told they can not assit as the account is still in arrears and it has to be settled first. I would like to know what cartrack will do if my car jgets stollen, how will they locate my vehicle if the device does not work and has not been working for more than nine months?
Desired outcome: FOR IMMEDIATE CANCELLATION OF THIS ACCOUNT AND A FULL REFUND OF REFUND OF MONEY DEBITED FROM OUR ACCOUNT FROM CARTRACK.
Settlement letter and no more debit orders
I was called by car track regarding my outstanding balance, I had already previously made an arrangement of a monthly payment when I was offered a discount to settle my account.
I paid that amount that was asked of me which amounted to R2000.00 in December 202, however car track still debits my account and I’ve been calling to rectify this and receive a settlement letter.
This morning I called cartrack again because my was debited and I was told that the R2000.00 that was meant to be a discount is not a discount but a naedo tracking.
Cartrack has clearly been scamming people because how can you offer me a discount and them go against your word. I need assistance on this!
New installation and money that was then off

Ok then the lady explained to me that the first payment will be on the first of every month we'll yesterday they deducted from my account 2 and one was 90 .00 and 10 min later 199.00 for the payment of service so that means that will will not pay a payment at the first of July 2022 because I did call the call centre and did speak to Mavis but the email address she give me come back as un none so my cell [protected] call me or email me or else I do not now [protected]@gmail.com

Tracker installation
I've been waiting since Wednesday for the Technician to come and install tracker device on my car, yesterday the technician came to install bt unfortunately he could not due to the fact that he was provided with the wrong car details of which is white VW Polo CA87540 instead of the White Toyota avanza CAA403346, so today I'm told that the installer will come Monday, so seemingly I've waisted with my time since Wednesday, [protected] Sakhumzi Sigodlo [protected]
Paid settlement amount, paid up letter not provided, attorneys want to lodge judgement on my name
I have been dealing with Cartrack since February this year to get a settlement figure so I can finalize the account, the 1 amount was paid end February 2022, from May we have been emailing, Cartrack confirmed that if I settled the amount of R1035.88 I would get a paid up letter, I paid beginning of June, sent them proof of payment which they acknowledge receiving, I have not received the letter, they want an extra amount, they even have attorneys now that want to put a judgement on my name. My account number with Cartrack is SMIT02524, I am now at my wits end, Cartrack is going against their word. Surely this is unacceptable. Service regarding unit / unauthorize changing of contract
On or about the 13th May I contact Cartack regarding the unit in one of my vehicle's, that drain the car battery as well as not giving the correct location on the APP.
On the 18th May the technician came out to check the unit. According to him everything was fine and that with in 2 hour the vehicle will be back on the APP.
On the 19th I called again as the vehicle still shows an incorrect address and the last update was when the technician worked on the Unit. They then send a different technician to replace the unit. According to him we only need to drive 5km in order for the vehicle to register on the APP. That was not the case. Again I contact Cartrack, who the advice me that someone change my contract to a different package that does not allow me to monitor on the APP. The lady at fleet Tuli tried to assist me but unfortunately she could not see who change my contract. She then put me through to Ria at client service who took the matter up with her superior who was going to phone me back after investigation was done. Till now I am still waiting. My husband then send an e-mail who another consultant phone him, and again they said that some one change my contract. She then also advice him of the vehicle current location, totally incorrect as at that stage the vehicle was in Voslorus. She told him that she will send a technician again, still waiting. This morning I phone again and had to explain the entire story for the million time to your consultants who cannot assist me. Who will be responsible if my vehicle get stolen if your data is totally incorrect. This is the worse service I every received from Cartrack from the time I join Cartrack 10 years ago.
Desired outcome: I need this matter to be resolve urgently as currently I am paying for a service that is non- existed. I also need my contract to corrected, as I did not give any permission to any one to change it from R157 per month to R99.
Poor service

I writing this I'm very unhappy, your service as cartrack is very poor. You make clients sign up on your contracts and you let them abide with it then you gonna say unfortunately it's the terms and conditions you signed up for. As far as I remember I had a contract with you since 2019 and it was for 24 months. The 2 years it's over but yet you are still debiting from my bank account, when I reverse it I start to recieve calls where in they say I have an outstanding balance of which it doesn't make any sense to me. Since I had a contract with you I have never felt as a client that good service I was just paying because I signed a contract no one will ever call you when you heading to dangerous places no one will ever contact you just to make you feel that you are stil with them. But just skip one payment you will recieve calls the entire day reminding you about your payment when can you be able to pay it. So it's so nice that they take your money but they don't render the service to you. I am very disappointed I trusted you to look after my car but it seems like you only interest in the money I'm paying you don't care about my safety and my car. Started paying R135 and now I'm paying R205 for what exactly. What am I paying for?

Outstanding debt car track says i owe
Im wrongfully been deducted an amount of R240 by car track,
My misery started late last year when tracker consultant phoned me to advice that my tracking device was faulty and needed to be repaired and for repairing i will have to fork out R650,
I asked the consultant how so because im contracted with them,im expecting them to fix the device for free, thats when i learned that my 3 year contract has expired so im now on month to month contract with them.
I then requested the consultant since im on a month to month contract im asking her to cancel the contract as im not prepared to pay the repairing fee of a device.
Fast foward this year i was phoned by another consultant whom confirmed seeing my cancellation on the system but because they valued me as a customer ,she offered me a new contract which i will be paying R99.00,to my surprise i was debited an amount of R240 which i returned for obvious reasons,it was not the amount i agreed to.
On top of all that when i was sold the new contract i was promised that the technician will come an install a new tracking device,until today no one has come to install the tracker,
Now my question is if Car tracker claims that i owe them money...what is the money for cos the old device was faulty and the new device was not installed.
Meaning my vehicle is not monitored.
Car track keeps on saying i owe them money which increases every month,it was R240 now its R950.Can Someone please help me.

Ion the 31st Jan 2022 my vehicle insured under cartrack was stolen lodged a claim with cartrack in terms of recovery as well warranty for R150000 my claim was rejected because I broke terms and conditions of testing the unit. I had another contract with them which lapse on October 2021 (3year) I realize that I have never tested the unit with this contract either so when the unfortunate incident happened again they will reject my claim again citing same issue of terms and conditions of the contract, how do I countinue paying for service that I will not receive. I have written Emails to the company namely the accounts dept, Ms Kemiso Molefe, Legal dept and Ceo escalation no respond. How do I countinue with such company. My Ref number is xhak00041

Bad Service
On the 5th of May 2022 at 14:17, the service that I obtained was awful.
The gentleman informed me that my gadget was defective and that he would schedule my car for repair. I waited and waited, and when I phoned today, my car was not reserved, and they couldn't tell me when I called.
Absolute nonsense; if I was hijacked, I would be held responsible because they couldn't see my last interaction with Car-track. To establish that I phoned them, I had to look through my phone. Laziness and incompetence!
Despite the fact that it took him one minute to authenticate me, this is not on the system. This raises my eyebrows because I'm not sure what's being recorded.

My car was stolen in2019 October device was no longer in the car since the was damaged. And I continue with my contract while I don't have a car and device because contact was binding me. End of contract in June 2021 I've canceled it but today I've be handed to lawyers and told that I'm owing car tracker I dont know for what because I've spoken to several consultant's to cancel but they told that I should allow the company to debit two premium because they can cancel and I didn't allow that they said their system can't cancel if I don't agree. I told them that was nonsense because my contract ended in June why I have to pay extra

Service Extremely incompetent
The amount they deducted went from R119 at the start to R129 to R159.
I did not approve the CarTack in the first place as I stated multiple times. I could not get it canceled as I tried multiple times. I was told to speak to the dealership about cancellation as I was not the client as I was told multiple times.
After CarTrack deducted money from my account for different amounts in the same month after I told them I was not their client, I had to block the debit order as it was fraudulent. They phone me a few times every single day with absolutely nothing being done about the situation! I had to explain the same story over and over every day to different people. Only after no payments were made did I eventually get an email that the account was cancelled but yet CarTrack still takes debit orders.
What are your packages you offer because I never got a choice yet I need to pay !

Stolen car
On the 12 February at home when we woke up the car was stolen and reported at cartrack and police station. They came to my house nad say I must pay R15000 if they recover the car I said i will have to pay in 3 months stallment we agreed on that. on the 4th March I received the car alert I then called cartrack to find out why they sending an alert for the car they say my car was recovered on the 19th February recovery department said they called me and I said nothing. I was owing them for months not paying for services. Then I said where was the car recovered and where is the car they said to I must first pay R15000 then I will get the car. I said how can i pay something i didnt see and you have so many stories because you are saying now I must fetch the car at Pietermaritzburg and pay R25000 I dont trust any story any more I must see the car and report to police station that you recovered the car
Device Tracking/ Tracking System
I'm disappointed the service rendered by CarTrack and subsequently would like to terminate the contract with the immediate effect, reason being on the 24 March 2022, the device was installed and was made to download the App so that I will be able to track and locate the car myself or personally.The App never worked since the day of the installation, I kept on calling requesting assistance, the responses I got were, " We will reboot the App", "The server is currently down but Technicians are working on it", this happened until 30th March 2022 where there was no assistance,on the 31st March 2022, I then got a call stating that the Technician will come to replace the device because it does not pick up the GPS.This happens after full 7days of the App not working,on the 1st April 2022, the Technician did come and replace the device.By the 7th April 2022, i asked to be transferred to department that deals with the functionality of the App since I cannot retrieved the history of the trips, the matter was escalated but I was not called or assisted, until I called back on the 21st April.The App as we speak is not working. Why should I pay for a service that is not working

Extremely incompetent
I sold my vehicle end of November 2021. Payment went off via debit order at the end of November. In the beginning of December 2021 Cartrack contacted me to inform me that the new owner of the vehicle wants to install a tracking system on the vehicle. I confirmed that this can be done as I no longer own the vehicle. Cartrack informed me that I will be liable for half a premium. The full premium went off at the end of December 2021. They have been trying to debit my account ever since and I have been reversing the debit order. They phone me a few times every single day with absolutely no joy! I have to explain the same story over and over every day to different people! Kayshawn in accounts promised to sort this out for me! No joy what so ever! Numerous emails have been sent - they don't even bother to acknowledge the email - never mind phone you back! I am at my wits end! Spoke to a team leader who also promised to sort this out, needless to say - NO JOY!

in June 2021 i did communicate with several of your agents that my car has broken and i wont need the services anymore and was advised that i will have to pay a penalty fee for early termination of contract i asked the contract to be terminated and to be given the exact total amount i owe to car track for me to make arrangement in paying the debt.
My account was not terminated and i received numerous calls and keep on repeating myself of what i needed from your company
the contract was terminated several months after and with the incorrect balance i owed to car track then i received a call and was promised that the amount will be fixed ad will make a debit order of R 200 from month end March
i then receive 2 debit orders not month end as agreed but the same day of few days after and once the was no money i was then listed as a default payer yet the company made a debit order on the date we didn't agree on
i need the total balance of my account to be fixed as now my account has been handed ovr still with the incorrect amount

Faulty unit and terrible customer care
After having to reschedule 3 times for the unit to be installed because the technicians do not arrive and no one bothers to let you know that no one is coming anymore the unit was finally installed. Upon testing the Unit it turned out to be faulty. I have called in over 10 times asking for assistance and all I get told is it will be escalated, then nothing happens until I phone in again. I have asked for management to contact me and still nothing but yet they are very quick to take your money. I then phoned in asking to have the contract cancelled and I get told its a R2500 cancellation fee. Cartrack are a bunch of crooks!
Desired outcome: I want to have my unit removed and contract cancelled immediately and I WILL NOT pay a cent!
