My car was written off in December and i called you when the insurance was done with the investigation to go remove the tracking device on the car.. the person that help on that day specifically told me that the is a once off payment that i will need yo pay once they reinstall the device on the new car but you guys have been deducting my bank account without my permission that was not enough on daily basis you are deducting the once off fee and to reverse it it costs me.. i tried Calling no one is untrusted to call me back and i have been waiting for the recording of my conversation with the person that told me i i will pay when you reinstall it no one is send it but yet you taking my money.. here is my cell number [protected]

My name is Xolile Hlongwane I am very upset about the bad service that I received from cartrack.i called in last night 27 March 2022 around 21h00
to check the location of my car and the lady who was assisting me I forgot her name she said it shows that it is standing on my yard at Hulda rd Kibler Park and I told her it's not there,she asked me hand up she will call me back she was going to ask for assistance from her colleagues ,she didn't come back to me the whole night but instead she buzzed me around 05h40 the next morning when I tried to pick it up she hunged up,then I made a follow-up call in again and I was assisted by the guy called Stanely I explained the story to him and he said he can see on the system that I called in the previous night and the lady left the note that she tried to call me but I couldn't answer. And Stanley told me there is something wrong with the device because its showing that the car is at Hulda rd Kibler Park and he will arrange with technician to come check it,yet am sitting here thinking my car has a tracking device and it doesn't have .My complaint here is the poor and unprofessional service from you that you make me wait for 8hrs for you to respond and if the lady left the note that she tried to call me around 5am the next day yet i phoned around 21h00 the previous night is that how you operate is that how your emergency department works?I cannot call in and not get help whereas am paying for your services.

Since 16H30 it shows the car is on at Respublica Princeton village parking area?
The car is only usef weekends, so it means the device is utterly useless.
Ive reported to hello Peter last week. This is not what your contract shows.
Desired outcome: Remove your useless device so I can get another company.
Car tracker contract and fitment
Completed a contract for fitment of new car tracker on 18 March 2022. Was promised that a technician will be send between 1pm and 3pm same day. Only to receive a call late after 4pm saying the appointment has been cancelled and can only happen on Wednesday, 23 March 2022.
Tuesday, 22 March 2022, received a call late afternoon saying I was actually booked for Thursday 24 March 2022. After raising a complain that I have prepared for Wednesday, some one different called to say it was a miscommunication in their offices, the appointment remains 23 March 2022. I waited and no one called or showed up on 23 March 2022.
Your intervention will be highly appreciated. I was lied to twice and had to reschedule all my appointments. I think I need to be treated with respect and not lied to.

cartrack device malfunctioning
The device in my car FZT 011 FS is not functioning properly, since 16 H 50 on 20 March 2022 it is showing the car in motion (green image) but it is being parked until now.

My Cartrack account was canceled. I paid the settlement and received a cancellation letter from Cartrack… I’ve been handed over to a Deptt company…after many attempts of sending my payment confirmation to the Deptt Company and contacting the CEO of Cartrack, I am still being harassed daily by the Deptt company.. worst Company to deal with
Desired outcome: I would like this matter to be settled and my name taken off blacklist, as it is wrongfully there
Roaming Invoice from Accounts department
I was invoiced R285 on 24/2/2022 for roaming fees. I do understand what roaming fees are for but R285 was substantially more than any other roaming fee I have ever paid. I queried the amount but that's where all the trouble started. I get a daily call from collections at 19h00 while having dinner with my family (unacceptable). I have spent hours on the phone requesting the information for this particular invoice but get transferred from department to department. I made calls to Cartrack and send emails but no luck. I get regular messages and emails of warnings (threats) that my platform will get blocked. I have 6 vehicles with Cartrack.
By the way I had 2 hijackings where Cartrack could not recover any of the vehicles. I could never claim the R150 000 per vehicle due to an endless list of conditions.
Desired outcome: Please provide the detail for said invoice
Incorrect settlement statement
I received a statement regarding my contract that I canceled. On the statement the settling amount was R2500, which I made payments and the amount came down to 1800 but when I received the statement the cancelation zmount has been added at the end of the statement and the amount owing is now R4400. I see this as fraudulent send being dishonest. And the cherry on the cake is that they blacklisted me because I refuse to pay that amount. I asked them several times to contact me but nothing. I was dealing with someone in the beginning whom made a deal with me on paying the amount in anstallments but she eesigned. Now it's as is nothing was communicated with me on behalf of them.
Desired outcome: I need the statement to be corrected and my name to be removed from blacklisting as the fault us not on my side

I have made numerous requests to have this unit removed and still they refuse to do it. My battery has been draining ever since I had the tracking unit put in and still they won't remove it. We have had almost 8 repairs done on this unit and still same old problems. No one listens and no one cares to be honest ... If I want to cancel then I have to pay out their contract for something that hasn't worked properly from day 1 and is damaging my 1 year old vehicles battery at the same time

Car track installed a new tracker in my car without removing the old unit. My battery was damaged. We contacted car track a number of time to remove the old unit and still no joy. We fitted the bill to replace the battery.
Desired outcome: The cost of the battery to be refunded
Cancel Contract
Numerous occasions we requested for contract to be cancelled. We don't own the vehicle anymore. if you call they try and sell or transfer. We need this cancelled. After a lot of calls I stopped debit order. Now they get people to call you permanently. They waste so much time in getting people to call you, think they need to rather spend money in training staff to do the work and cancel contracts. Request for cancellation of contract was also mailed on them more than once. They don't acknowledge mails they don't correspond. If one person calls you to ask for money and you inform them that you cancel they then in return inform you that is a different department. No assistance whatsoever. Think that is how they try to make money by making it so difficult for anyone therefore people allow the debit order. Please cancel my contract...! Stop trying to debit my account as I will reverse it every time! CANCEL CANCEL CANCEL i AM SURE YOU RECORD CALLS SO GO BACK TO CALLS AND YOU WILL FIND THAT I WANT THIS CANCELLED!

Losing Recovery Warranty from Cartrack for replacing a panic button
On the 14th of February 2022, I requested to replace my daughters panic button, which they provided me early 2020, so on 15th of February 2022, I get feedback saying (I trust this response will find you well.
Kindly note that Cartrack no longer supply or install panic buttons because of technical issues, however if you really need one you will loose your Recovery Warranty)
So I asked for them to explain the Recovery Warranty and I was told (Cartrack Recovery Warranty:
In the unlikely event that we can not recover your vehicle, Cartrack will give you a cash back warranty on selected packages of up to R150 000, subject to certain T’s & C’s)
My daughter has to drive far to get to university by herself, so I would like to know, with a panic button, Cartrack can respond quicker to an alert, my daughter has back up on the road. What the hell, I can not understand how and why a warranty will be lost, if something like a panic button can help Cartrack. I am sick to my stomach, if my daughter becomes a victim of a hijack, do anyone think that a lost car will be more important, than the safety and well being of a loved one. This is the most stupid rule I have ever come across. This makes me wonder if it is time to cut losses with Cartrack and find a company that cares about the real safety of a loved one.

Re:warranty
on the 18/11/2021 my car was stolen, got a call from cartrack at around 7h00 in the morning while i was at work. ever since i was the one who calls them for updates and which steps i should take. today when i call again for updates they send me an email claiming that i have defaulted my payment due to them. i told them i have proof from my bank which does not reflect any defaults, then they come with new story that i am required to test my unit quartely to validate my warranty.
please advice cause i am being taken for a ride

I am not happy with your service and treatment.. Your debt collector are extremely rude and have no clue how to deal with an account.
I called to change my banking details in December the consultant sent me forms and I filled and sent it to Cartrack..
Cartrack didn't act on the instruction, everyone calling me from the collections department have a different reason.. However today they decided to act on it with the same instruction..
Now Cartrack wants to be paid for the missed months which they themselves debited the wrong account causing me to incur banking charges and leaving the account over drawn. The idiot of a debt collector proudly even says I will be Black-Listed.. Couldn't even provide the complaint process when asked and had no clue who the Ombudsman is for CarTrack
I cannot be receiving same calls from different people daily.. Cancel the contract or figure out a way forward because i cannot be treated like this and smile about it.

Cartrack installation pro-rata debit order
I had my tracker unit installed on Sunday 6th Feb and I was told that a pro-rata amount will be debited from my account on th 15th which is my debit date. So when I find out a pro rata debit order will go through before, the lady from account tells me that I can make the arrangements for the pro rata to go off on the 15th, which I did and the lady told me everything is fine. Now today they debit my account, since I had insufficient funds on my account, I have a unpaid fee of R115, who must pay for that charge? The lady mislead me, she should have just been honest and said that it was too late to make arrangements and I would have made sure that I had sufficient funds on my account and there would be no fees
