wouldn’t let me make a purchase with a company credit card after id-ing me

I attempted to buy two packs of orange american spirit cigarettes & was carded (my birthday is 12/5/1980) by scanning my id. It was obviously accepted. The woman cashier then told me that she could not accept a company credit card (while I am wearing a hat & sweatshirt with the same company name & pulled up in a company vehicle with the same exact name as on the card.) it is actually my husbands company, but that should not matter.
I showed her that the company on the card matches the shirt I was wearing... But was still turned away.
I do not understand why she said that she couldn't let me use the company credit card. She made me feel like my business was not welcome there & my payment would not be accepted.
I'm am more than positive that other people use business credit/debit cards
To pay for their goods.
Why was ‘I ‘ not allowed to purchase goods from your store?
I will never set foot in another casey's general store (& make sure to let all my friends & colleagues know that local businesses aren't allowed to shop there)
I am hoping to resolve this despicable transaction because it is the closest gas station near my house.
Please tell me i'm crazy that this has me so upset!
employee on the phone all the time
Every time I go into pay for gas at the 401 s 1st st location, or get something quick to eat there's an employee that is always on her phone. I don't go in there very often but when I do sometimes shes so busy worrying about the phone I have to ask if she got everything rang up so it doesn't look like I stole it or didn't pay something. Then she sighs at me and gets snooty with me cos I asked or possibly irritated from someone on the other end of the phone. But either way I shouldn't be treated like that and she shouldn't be on her phone while working. Unless you pay her to be on her phone.

I walked in to grab a couple slices of pizza for my small children . There was a couple guys that grabbed the last few that were ready so I headed over to the kitchen to ask if they'd have some more coming as I was in no hurry. Her response was that it would come eventually. She seemed annoyed that I was even asking... I ignored her comments at first, when asking if it would be pepperoni she said it would be "whatever she puts in" and she didn't know what that would be yet ... I could tell I wasnt going to receive any customer service or pizza and decided to leave. On the way out I asked the gal at the register for the kitchen employees name so that I could be sure to let it be known how rude she was .
The second shift female cashier is rude and hateful. If she is mopping the floor, and a customer is ready to check out, she will throw the mop on the floor in anger. She seems annoyed Everytime she has to wait on a customer, clicking her tongue and shaking her head back and forth. Her attitude towards her job indicates clearly, that she doesnt want to be there. I think a person frustrated by customers should not be put on front lines of customer service.
My husband and I are regular customers, spending upwards of $1, 000 a month. Due to the unjust treatment of this lady, we no longer give this location our business. I am sure more people will soon start following as I have heard many other complaints from others. Despite the fact we only live a couple of blocks away from Rossville Casey's, my husband is driving 10 miles out of town to give another gas station our business..
timing of the orders
Friday at about 520pm i ordered two large pizzas from my local Casey's store. The guy on the phone told me its be read in 25-30 mins. So i thought cool gives me time to leave my house (which is out of delivery range) and get gas. My husband gets there to pick up our order and had to wait until 6:15 when our order just came through the oven when asked why their response was we just got super slammed. I understand things happen but this isn't the first issue i have had with Casey's if they can't give a time without someone having to wait an additional 30 mins then something has to change or I will not return.
the management
She has no clue how to do her job. Her staff even does her paperwork and she gets credit.customers have complained about hearing her gossip about here employees with other ones, then she lectuers on gossiping. She blames it on other employees and gets them not liking each other. She is not at her store much. Employees call and text her she tells them to leave her alone. Messed up pay for one employee twice.keeps saying it will get fixed and doesnt. A hungry little boy came in with pennies. He rode his bike in the heat because he had no food at home. He asked to buyva slice of pizza with his pennies. The manager got mad and told employeecto just get him the [censored] out of there. When she was overheard and asked how she could get mad at that. She told worked to buy the slice and get him out. Store, parking lot always dirty. Prices are too high.people will leave and go to wendys across the street. Regulars are complaining and not coming in. She even made fun of one employee for a reason she hadnt worked in awhile. Horrabile. Sorry for moorseville in.
Let me guess...the store on 144? That store is a joke. The new manager is useless, I think her name is Ali...seems to be on her personal phone a lot...I'm pretty sure Casey's has store phones to conduct business on.
your employee cursed me out
My name is Jacques Pitts and I live in Marissa Illinois so I frequent that store everyday now you have a new employee that threaten me today in the store he takes off his shirt and tells me he's going to kick my [censored], and I'm a respectable person so I left the store, but upon leaving the store he tells me that he'll clock out and beat my [censored] so I left the store, but it's all on camera and I intend on calling the localnews room to report this matter to let everyone know what type of employees you hire there and to also get this matter out in the opennow I'm never scared of anybody but I also respect the store but not that employee and no other employee has ever had any problems out of me in that franchise. I am going to the channel 4 news this evening with the police to get the footage from the camera because his cursed me out for nothing and that unacceptable to me and I will not patronize Casey's General store ever again.

This person (Michelle Welsh at clermont, iowa store) was complaining, [censored]ing about someone to a couple that were in the store to get a pizza which they didn't get because of her attitude. The couple said they didn't come in the store to hear your problems and especially they way she went about it. There is a time and place for that and it is not at a work place certainly not in the presence of others and also someone else hearing half way across the store. I talked to the couple and they said they will never go in there again untill she is fired or does not work there anymore, also the same goes for me I will never spend a penny there untill she is gone and fired. I'm sorry to be so blunt but I thought you should know about this.

Your employees would rather chat with each other instead of helping customers
The store is generally busy and every time I go in there is a line nearly to the door with only one employee working the till while there is two or three other employees just talking with each other complaining about their friends while the other employee is outside smoking.
I would think customer service should be a priority. Yesterday I waited in line to get rung up for 28 minuets. There were 9 people ahead of me.
dumb decisions
My old store hires a NEW store manager who has absolutely no previous retail NOR management experience EVER. This just ruined our store. She doesn't know what she is doing and is okay with getting pushed around by Vince. Vince a man who refers to his employees as "hebrew slaves" Needless to say that Vince is firing everyone and 5 people have already quit so the store is falling apart :)
Just a terrible place to work. Employers need to make sure that the employees know the rules of their job before letting the employees work.
breakfast burritos
Adel, Iowa Casey's could not make a breakfast burrito without sausage, peppers and onion. This is silly when they make breakfast pizzas! Just close all the Casey's "Kitchens". Not everyone can eat onions and such! The people in the kitchen said they could not make the burrito without using the mix? I wanted eggs, cheese and ham. What is so hard about that? Food service should be just that. Service. You make pizzas to order. Subs to order. I will not purchase anything at the Casey's in Adel, Iowa again. I will take my business to Kum and Go.
hiring process
A friend of mine put in for a job with Casey's and the manager of the store won't give her the time of day because of a prior attempted theft charge while trying to retrieve her belongings from an ex roommate. The manager refuses to talk to her or even explain why she is being refused employment. Mind you the manager didn't perform a background check through the system. I feel this is highly unprofessional and discriminatory. What is the policy on this!
hot wings
I ordered 20 hot wings tonight from the Lexington mo Caseys. First of all I couldn't even get inside for all the smokers hanging out right in front of entrance. Also, my hot wings were not done, and they were so small I could barely see them and to top it off they were just wings no hotness at all! Not happy at all! This is not the first time I've had bad service, the employees are not very customer friendly.
hiring manager
I was hired over 2 weeks ago by Cindy in wathena KS. I went in for my paperwork to get started and was told my schedule and in less than 12 hours in was expected to get black pants and without them I couldn't come in. I called Cindy my first day and explained I would come in but I didn't have black pant she told me I couldn't.. the second day I explained I had to ask for help to get them and I was waiting for them to be brought to me. I went in for my shift the second day later than scheduled but I had my black pants finally. I no sooner walked in and Cindy informed me that I was fired for not coming into work and having my black pants the day before. I then walked out so nothing was said that was uneeded. I really needed this job and to be fired for not having pants is beyond me.. most places give you ample time or they provide the uniform. I am very upset and want something to be done. This is not only fair to me but whom ever else she has done this too.
products, staff, and store
I have lived in the area for some time and Caseys gas station is one of the worst I have ever been into. Any time I go into the store it s never clean there is always empty spots where products should be. Bathrooms are very dirty, I would never use the bathrooms there! This store is always out of either my drinks or my cigarettes. The signal slice of pizza always looks like it has been sitting there for hours and looks hard and stall.
I was in the store on Easter Sunday around 10:30am 4/1/2018 and the staff wasn't even in uniform and didn't have a friendly attitude about them at all. Staff seemed like didn't even want to be there or that they don't like their job. With staff like this you will not be able to keep customers coming into your stores.
Normally I would stop in the store in the afternoon time around 4pm and the staff working the register doesn't even seem to know what he is doing or has any training most times he seems to be lost on what he is suppose to be doing.
I can see why your family sent you shopping on Easter Sunday. You were probably driving them crazy and they asked you to run some errands just to get rid of you.
Also if they were not in uniform, chances are they were off the clock.
You do realize that it is the customers not them that messes up the washrooms right? Why should they have to clean up after adults. None should have to clean up feces. Maybe that should be your job though with your terrible attitude and lack of manners.

I'm putting in a complaint about an employee of Casey's General Stores independence Mo East 23rd street location. Her name is Crystal Johnson and she is a 2nd Assistant manager and I observed her using marijuana outside a residence in independence Mo with a group of people drug users should be in some kind of treatment program. She needs to be drug tested immediately.
Employees should not be able to use drugs before or after going to work
app coupons
We went to the Casey's store on March 12, 2018 approx 1am. The Casey's location was 1102 Heckman St in St James, MN. Cashier was Maria. We tried to use the coupons from the Casey's app, and was told for each free item we were trying to redeem, we had to also purchase other items. So, for example, we were told for 1 free 7up, we had to buy 1 product in the store...for 2 free 7up, we had to buy 2 other products. Needless to say, we wasted 2 coupons and walked out of the store with nothing. They refused to honor the app coupons. Maria stated the manager had told her this, and showed us a paper which had all the coupons for this time frame. Yet nothing on the paper or in the app stated we had to buy anything to redeem the coupons. We have never had a problem with any other locations honoring the coupons, and do enjoy playing the game.
gasoline
Today my significant other and I had to travel to Iowa City to go the the University of Iowa's hospital . We needed to get gas we stopped at the Casey's in Amana, Iowa. The amount we got was $20. And it is the most worst gas ever! Some how it made our vehicle run badly and it was diagnosed as having water in it. Needless to say our car was running perfect untill we got this gas from the Casey's in Amana, Iowa. Well.. we are now stranded and broke down in Iowa City and we are from Des Moines. Thanks to the bad gas we can't get home and it's very cold and a winter snow storm is coming. We are so angry and I want our gas money back and I will never stop foot in another Casey's store ever again.
pizza I ordered
I did a order by walk in i ordered a large pepperoni and spicy sausage and when I got home and noticed all this meat that they had put on my pizza I was upset I order from there all the time we live on the west side of town and drive over to the eastside location cause they are always in point I only. Started to eat one piece aand couldn't do it such a waste I have enclosed some pictures so u will see my point I am making here
bad pizza & wings
On 01/19/18 we ordered a small taco pizza, a small Canadian Bacon & Pineapple Pizza & an order of hot wings. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait (which we sort of expected it was a Friday night). No problem as we love Casey's pizza and get it quite often. We have three other places in our town to order pizza, but always order here. When my husband brought it home we opened the taco pizza it had the wrong sauce, no lettuce, no tomatoes, no chips or cheese. The other pizza had such a soggy crust the toppings fell off when you lifted a slice out of the box. If that wasn't disappointing enough the wings were way undercooked and inedible. We had our granddaughters for the evening and we were all looking forward to the pizza. I called the store to talk to manager and was told there wasn't one on duty and no one else could help me. I am very upset about this and don't know who else to talk to. After spending $30.00 for food we couldn't eat, I do not feel we will go back here again. I guess Pizza Hut has a new customer.

Honey glazed cashews nutritional information on the package is not correct.
Please look at the total carbs vs sugar content. I'm a diabetic so I watch carbs counts closely.

I am a loyal customer and just trying to point out a mistake. I know the government keeps a close eye on that type of thing. And would not like to any trouble for your company.
