Cash App review: Recovery of hacked verified account

First of all I want to say.I had no money in my Cash App.So I am not asking for any sort of reimbursement.

I simply want to regain control of my personal Cash App that was recently stolen from me.

My account had been verified by scanning in the front and back of my driver's license and also doing a facial scan.

To me it seems like you would be able to use that verification information to verify who the correct owner of the account is.

Basically, all you would have to do is contact the person that now has control of my old Cash App and ask them for another verification process.Have them scan in the front of the back of the license and do a facial scan.

So entirely easy.Why can't that be done?

I also found emails in my account showing where somebody had changed the cash pin on my account, unlinked my email address, and linked in somebody else's email address, as well as forwarded the secure sign in to some email.

My concern is I don't know what they're doing with my Cash App.They could be running an illegal business through my Cash App, taking in all this money and then guess what, I get in trouble with the I.R.S for that.

All of my information on my old Cash App has now been changed.So there's no way I can give that information correctly, now

I have my Driver's license. I have my Birth Certificate. I can give you my social security number. I can take a picture with me holding my Driver's license with my face all in the same picture, in this way verifying my identity.

You could ask the person who stole my Cash App to provide the same information for you. A very simple, easy, clean cut way to determine the truth.

In fact, I thought that was the whole reason behind verifying your identity on Cash App was to prevent fraud and yet I did it and it's not helping me at all.

By having my driver's license, my birth certificate, and my social security number, I could go into most government offices and get whatever I need with those identification items, so why is that not good enough for cash app?

I can understand it would be a totally different story if I was seeking compensation for money lost in the account but as I stated in the beginning there were no funds in the account no money was lost. I just want to have control over the account that is verified with my face and my driver's license before the IRS comes at me with some kind of tax evasion ***
