I send unit in for repairs and then after about 2 weeks I was told that the parts to repair will cost r320.00. So I paid that and then the wait started. After 2 weeks I followed up only to learn they dont have the parts and then they send the unit back to your george store. I visited the store on a weekly base to follow up on my repair. I was there again today on 02-05-23 and the same message still no parts.
The unit is not 3 months old and when I turned it on the smoke came out it, the so called front panel is fualty and I need to repair it out of own poket, not really knowing the so called 12 mouth warranty policy.
Can you please follow up due to its allmost 3 month or more and still no fix. I dont think it is a great example for your company own brand to wait for repairs so long

Item purchased and no refund given although I was told I will get a full refund in cash
I bought a Canon Camera from Cash Crusaders' Randpark Ridge branch on April 29, 2023. The salesperson, Perseverance, informed my husband and me about the return and cash back policies. She stated that we had a 48-hour window to return the product for a full cash back.
Testing of the camera was delayed until Sunday the 30th of April 2023 due to low battery power and load shedding on Saturday. The camera was fully tested on Sunday, allowing for performance and functionality to be fully evaluated.
The camera has several issues that affect its performance. Overall, these problems significantly impact the camera's usability and make it challenging to capture high-quality images.
1. The camera's photo display is blurry and out of focus, while the raw document in Photoshop is excessively grainy. Despite setting the camera to the appropriate ISO, Shutter Speed, and F-Stop, the photo's quality remains poor.
2. The Shutter count on the camera has exceeded its expected lifespan, which increases the probability of its failure at any moment. Its constant use may lead to the shutter malfunctioning; therefore, it will need a costly replacement.
3. The lens' zoom function is not operating smoothly and requires servicing to ensure proper calibration with the camera.
4. The battery life of the device is shorter than expected, which is causing some inconvenience.
5. Unfortunately, the camera was missing both the rubber eyecup and lens cover upon sale. It is important to have both of these accessories to protect the lens and provide a comfortable viewing experience for the user. I will need to purchase these items separately or contact the manufacturer for replacements. It is disappointing that they were not included, but I will take the necessary steps to ensure my camera is fully equipped and protected.
On May 1, 2023, we went back to the store and simplified our explanation to the staff, mindful that they lacked photography training. We told them that the photo appeared out-of-focus on the computer. Using layman's terms prevented any miscommunications that could have arisen from technical jargon.
We spoke to Caroline, who claimed to be the manager, about getting a full cash refund. Caroline explained that since it was a public holiday, the person who released funds was not in, and asked us to come back the next morning. We were given assurance by Caroline herself, in front Perseverance, that the entire refund would be available in cash by 9am. We requested written confirmation but were refused on the grounds that everyone in the store knew and had heard about it. Caroline offered assurance that returning the next day would not result in any difficulty with the 48-hour notice refund policy.
Caroline acted against protocol and failed to confirm the refund with her superiors, further deceiving us by assuring us that everything would be ready on our return. Caroline's failure to follow protocol and dishonesty came as a surprise to us, and we wrongly assumed that the refund would be sorted out the next day.
Upon returning on May 2nd, 2023, I discovered that the store would not provide a cash refund. The supposed manager, Caroline, was actually an employee and the real manager, Tom who claimed to be the actual manager, was unaware of the situation. Despite my frustration and Tom's attitude, I was unable to receive a refund.
Tom was unaware that Caroline had informed us about the full refund and believed that the problem had been resolved. He didn't have any information to suggest otherwise, and Caroline was not present at work.
Tom called the owners to refund us, but they declined during this time.
The owner is demanding that I sell the camera I purchased back to the buy shop for R7000, even though I would lose R4000 in the transaction. I find this demand to be completely absurd.
As a national credit regulation institution, you must be knowledgeable about the Consumer Act. Please note that I am at liberty to escalate this matter for investigation to the ombudsman and the small claims court. Conversely, resulting sheriff costs are to be borne by Cash Crusaders.
After a frustrating 2-hour attempt to get a refund at the store, I demanded that the camera be sent to Camera Tech for a thorough system diagnostics report, full service, and replacement of its worn-out shutter. If a refund was not possible, I wanted the camera to be fixed to optimal condition.
The staff deceived me and provided false information just to make and keep a sale, even though it violates my consumer rights. Their intention was solely to retain the sale, and as a result, I was misled and given inaccurate information.
The Terms & Conditions on the back of the sale slip clearly indicates the following:
“We request that you return any out-of-box faulty goods within 7 days of purchase, which will then be replaced, refunded or repaired at our cost, subject to the following exclusions”
(and it doesn’t state anything about the cameras).

I have requested on a few occasions re: the status of the repairs and when I may collect it and staff assured that they would get back to me.

Dear Cash Crusaders Sammy Mark's Square,
We are writing to express our extreme dissatisfaction with the service we received from your store on the 27th of March. One of our executives purchased a NIKON D3200 Camera from your store and was told that it came with a charger, which the sales assistant could not find at the time of purchase. They were then asked to return the following day to collect the charger when the relevant person was at work so that he may look for it.
However, when they returned the next day, the person who was supposed to help did not even bother to attend to the issue nor pay attention to what was going on. Despite our executive's attempts to communicate their concerns, they were met with dismissive attitude and unprofessional behavior from the staff. Except for the professionalism from the lady who had been assisting them from day one, the rest of the staff was unhelpful.
It was only after getting someone from the buy shop to speak to the sales assistant that we learned that the camera was being sold without a charger, which was not made clear on display.
Our executive then went online and ordered a new charger worth R350, which was delivered a few days later. However, upon charging the battery, the camera was not switching on ever since the battery was flat. They traded the same battery with someone else to see if it was working and it was working. When we contacted your store about the issue, we were told to come to the store to resolve the issue. When our executive arrived, the lady who happened to be a manager said that there was nothing she could do.
We are extremely disappointed and frustrated with the way this matter was handled. The camera was not even 10 days old when it stopped working, and we expected your store to honor their warranty and guarantee. Instead, we were met with poor customer service and unhelpful staff.
Furthermore, we are extremely dissatisfied with the amount of time and effort we have had to put into this issue. Our executive had to travel from Soshanguve more than three times to deal with this matter, which has been a huge inconvenience.
In comparison, we had a similar experience with a Samsung a10s that we purchased at Tramshed, and the service was excellent. The staff were professional, and the issue was resolved promptly.
We expect better from Cash Crusaders Sammy Mark's Square and request that this issue be resolved as soon as possible. We would appreciate a refund or a replacement camera, along with an apology for the inconvenience and poor service. We would also like to clarify whether the 6-month warranty is null and void at your branch.
It is important to note that our company has missed multiple corporate gigs because of the unacceptable service provided by your store. Therefore, we kindly request that this issue be resolved promptly so that we can continue with our work.

I have been supporting cash crusaders branch in Shelly Beach south coast,of reason have tried to extend my loan buy paying with my cheque card of which several times have been told they only accept cash,I want to know if it's the policy of cash crusaders to reset card payment for extensions of goods pawned ,because I find it disturbing, just need to know if it's the companies policy to do this ,because we leave in a time where it's not safe to be carrying cash around. My T.V. loan expired on the 28 March 2023 and I was given 5 additional days to pay and collect. I went on the 01st April 2023 to collect my TV abdvitcwas sold at cash crusader rosettenvile Johannesburg South. My reference is SMAP [protected]. Samsung A32 bought at cash crusaders vaal mall
Bought a Samsung A32 at cash crusaders vaal mall second hand 26/02/2023 after 3 days i couldn't do outgoing and incoming calls anymore i therefore failed to go and raise a complain sooner as i was working in free state, only got a chance on the 29/03/2023 to raise a complain i was told to wait for 4 weeks for phone to be repaired of which its unfair cause i the phone only worked for 3 days after purchase i even showed them my call records they refused to exchange orbrefund me. Cause they phone its blocked within three days of purchased.

Not erasing phone information
It’s not fair that strangers get to have information that was supposed to be deleted on your phone when selling it. Does it even work like that ? Left a phone at alberton city cash crusaders on the 20th of feb and when I had to pay on the 20th this month I decided otherwise because I didn’t have means to do so. In my mind I’m like even if they sell it atleast they will erase the phone so that when someone purchases it’s a brand new clean phone (second hand) . To my surprise I started getting calls from someone who purchased it asking for passwords of apps on the phone . What I know is that when you leave a phone you give them passwords so that’s should you not fetch it they sell it after erasing my stuff . Now does this mean now that you have forfeited the phone they sell personal information to their customers .
Desired outcome: I need an urgent response to this as this is unfair and feels like and invasion of privacy if my information wasn’t deleted
Laptop
I bought a laptop two days and a laptop bag, I also bought speakers. They said their system is slow so i payed and went to clicks to buy toiletries while waiting for the receipt. When i returned they packed my things in my laptop bag and gave them to me so i left only to find out when I'm at home that they did not pack up the laptop charger. Yesterday my brother went there ( we live far..in Pankop and i bought this stuff at cash crusaders in jubilee crossing) he was told they left it on the til and they cannot find it. They just said they will call him which is not good enough for me because it is no use having a laptop without it's charger. I need help getting that charger or returning the product.

25 March 2023 I bought a second hand laptop dell(core i7) the sales p tested if it was switching on or not which was successful, though the laptop displayed an error massage that the window will expire soon n it was slow according to the sales person I only needed to update the window which the laptop could not do at home specifically to windows 11 for it is a window I prefer . Well I'm buying a laptop to run windows 11 and my coreldraw graphic software hence a core i7 should be good.
The laptop could not run and install the softwares I intend to use it for and it is a very slow laptop, surprising for a core i7. 26 March 2023 the following day I went to the store to complain about this issue. The manager responded "it is not my issue that the laptop is not functioning as expected you bought it you bought it" my argument is that for any business meeting customer's requirements is priority I am surprised in this case it is not.
I mean what must I do. I do not trust the laptop anymore its completely disfunctional software wise. I could not get any fruitful cooperation from the manager later saying I am guffed( meaning I smoked too much weed) I don't even smoke. This is not a way I would like anyone to be treated and being a customer at cash crusaders for so many years without such ill treatment.
I would like to kindly request a third party to please assist me. perhaps if possible procedures to better this customer services must be done. I need a refund so I can purchase a laptop that I have confidence in, so to continue with my work. I have left the unit at the store.

today i was at your RoodePoort branch were i receive a very terrible customer service and a stinking attitude from one of your cashiers by the name MPHO MANWADU.
What happened is my brother took a loan against his tv set, so we went in to pay it up, we entered this branch at 14h38, as it was our time to be served, she told us not to come collect our staff around this time, (nicabanga ubani ozonilandela lento yenu) who's going to fetch this thing for you. since they were closed were we had to collect, i went out since it was just next door, I arrived there they were opened i checked the closing time note placed at the door it was 15h00,
i think she chose a wrong career path she doesn't deserve to work there, she's rude and talks too much, that team you have there don't deserve to be filtered with a poison like her or that branch is going to lose paying customers which will lead to that branch being closed down.
the next time i go to that store and find her ill just leave and go shop somewhere else and were my hard-earned money is appreciated where I'll find a better service.

Waiting for 3 months for my dodge to be repaired
Both a brand new Dodgee N40 PRO at cash crusaders Mitchell's Plain town center phone started giving problems 6 months after it was still under warranty when I bought it for repair I was told they will fix it because it's still under warranty that was 3 months ago an still waiting no feedback for customers care nothing had to walk up an down to try an get my phone fixed really terrible service didn't expect this.
When I was told my phone will be ready to collect from the branch manager a day later I received a call tell me I must pay for the repairs the amount was R512. 00 did pay the money against my better judgment an still I didn't get my phone yet its still at repairs worse service ever cash crusaders house brands products is a waste of hard earn money be warned

I have reviewed their southdale staff very positively but they decided to keep it to themselves and not make them aware of all this .It is very annoying and very unprofessional of them that they are very and too quick to overeact when a customer complains about staff but do nothing when a customer expresses their happiness with the manner that they were served. This lack of appreciation and gratitude to the staff surely shows their selfishness at its best. You can not be showing this kind of negative and inconsiderate behaviour towards anyone who has been positively complimented and praised for professional and well-mannered approach to your customers. So i would strongly suggest that the very staff start showing you how to show a sense of ubuntu and value that should be placed on anyone who is important to your business.

I bought an 900W Dixon grinder on 14/05/2022 I've used it 5 times sins.
The the button thats locks the disc to take out wasent working. I took in in for repairs at cash Crusaders Sasolburg on January 2023, thay send it in for repairs and in February 2023 thay called and it wasent even working stil. Sended it back for second time and stil gives me problems.

I took a loan on my Samsun Galaxy Z Flip 3 5 G. It got stolen by one of CC employees.

I bought a brand-new microwave in December 2022. It was faulty, I returned the microwave on the 21st of January 2023 for repairs.
The staff told me 2 weeks.
We followed up on the 15th of February 2023 and were informed that it takes 21 working days. I left it until the 20th of February 2023 - when I phoned, they could not find my job card on the computer. The manager from mall @ 55 is like non - existent. He refuses to speak to me and is always busy or on an emergency. I tried phoning again today to no avail. I have a feeling that one of the staff members might have helped themselves to my microwave. I am not happy with the service at all.

I left for jhb on in August to drop of my grandson, upon my return in September I enquired were out TV and some other appliances were, I was told by the 2 men living here with my husband it was in fir repairs. my husband passed away on the 26th if January this year and as I was reading my Bible the pawn slip fell out. Wen I went to cash crusaders Siva gve me the run around stating I needed to be accompanied by the police. I did just that, stood in the hot sun for more than an hour only to be told by officer ntuli that it was my right.
I then went back to the store and Siva shows me the file which is still valid but TV is sold but in the file he had a copy of my late husband's identity document from An old cv which did not mke sense as my husband was bi polar and had lost his identity book years ago, hence I used his driver's license or passport.. this is not on. I then asked to see video footage of the person who brought the TV in and was told to pass off. I had been hospitalized for 11 days from the stress of that incident and have made complaints sending through the relevant documents and have not heard bak from them. I was discharged yesterday and seems I have to go get a court order to have this done in the correct manner. If anyone has an easier method of resolving this I'm open to ideas as it was the last item my late husband bought.. it's valuable to me. Any assistance will be appreciated.instead of stressing abt a court procedure.

Good evening sir/madam my name is victor i brought computer at cashcrusaders that computer it was building in computer it's a computer with the screen at same time out side it's only mouse and key board only,i bought it on 30/01/2023.time 15:00:33 .when I get home it was a time for loadsheeding i ddn't test the computer,yesterday when i get back to work electricity was there , i plug the computer it was working nice after 5 hrs it switch off i dnt know why today i took it back for them to check it for me what's wrong with it, fine the two of those guys who where helping me when i bought it ,they start to test the computer,but i start to dought thise guys when they start end up taking charge they pull out the wire out of the wire cable ,they put the head of charging connect to computer they put 1 wire on the other side an 1 on tht side it blow up spackes they put a receipt page between 2 wire and they start to show 1 small red light when try to switch it still not working. Could you please provide me with your ombudsman contact number or email address. A sound system that was still on hire purchase was sold to your store and was taken with no questions asked. For a Brand new system to enter a store it should immediately flash a red light. In October a brand new stove still sealed in it's box was also taken, also no questions asked. A dvd also still in its box taken no questions asked. I had to pay over R4600 to release those things from one of your stores. I went through your contract and no where you actually protect another party that is married in community of property. Where you ask is the pledger married, if yes in or out community of property, and if in community provide written concent from the other party allowing you the pledger to sell the goods.
