Chico's Mixed Experience with Chico's

As someone who appreciates quality clothing, I had a mixed experience with Chico's. While their designs are stylish and versatile, the overall quality of the products left much to be desired. I ordered a couple of tops that turned out to be disappointingly thin and see-through, especially considering the price point. The customer service was also lacking, with issues in delivery and unhelpful responses. Despite the potential for great outfits, the inconsistency in quality and service made me hesitant to shop at Chico's again.

Chico's Exquisite Clothing

Chico's has fabulous clothing and style! I always wished I could shop there more often! I sure hope they do not go out! Lavish clothing fits well! We need to stop this! Most women like to be in the store and cannot tell how wonderful their fabric feels! If it goes out, something else will come replace it...

Chico's Clothes for an older gal

I love the clothes at Chico's. A little pricey, that is why I like the outlet. When you find a brand that fits and you are 68 yrs old you stick with it. Love the outlet store in Clinton CT. They ordered me something and said it would be 10days. Got it in 3. No shipping costs. I find the staff around my age so we can relate. I probably stop in there twice a month.

Chico's Chicos and the (Wo)man!

Great site for a colorful wardrobe! Definitely read the reviews when posted; I've saved time and effort with reading others' experiences with item being sized too large or small. They always seem to have some sort of discount/promo code - Google until you find a good one! Be SURE to search their Clearance section online - a lot of it is really good stuff, sometimes just in non-popular sizes.

Chico's Love Chico's

Chico's on line and our local Chico's outlet in Lincoln City, Oregon continue to provide excellent customer service. The product is always first rate, the prices are reasonable with wonderful sales, and the local customer service is excellent. Thank you for keeping our local outlets and stores open! Online is great, but actually seeing the product, trying it on, and being waited on makes shopping fun! Thank you!

Chico's Wonderful service and clothes

I go to chicos store *** a lot and can't say enough good about them especially Michele. They go out of their way to help you find what you want. They want you to try things on so they can get a feel for what you look good in, and they will tell you if they don't think it looks good on you but if you really want they will sell it to you. Try then one time and you will love them. I'm 78 and get compliments on my clothes all the time and I don't dress like an old lady or a young chick.

Chico's Beautiful and comfortable clothing

I love Chico's because I always know my size, the clothes fit perfectly, they are beautiful and comfortable. People always ask where I buy my outfits and I always say "Chico's" I know when I go out of the house that I look up to date and fashionable. Never will the outfits be outlandish or something that will only be in style for a month. I am one of their top shoppers and there are perks for that which I appreciate. They take care of their customers, have a private shoppers for you, and can coordinate your outfits if you ask. I can't say enough good things about this company.

Chico's Honesty welcome & appreciated!

I was in Chico's, Northlake Mall, Charlotte, NC 5/11/2022 and I must say, Jill & Ann helped me tremendously! It was morning on a week day and the store wasn't very busy yet so I felt as though I had them both to myself. I tried on several long dresses, some in both a 1 & 2 and decided most often, I need a 1. They were both very honest, which I really appreciated! When something is too tight or too loose, I want to know it. I ended up purchasing a pair of navy crop pants, which I needed desperately. I'm a Chico's girl so based on the friendliness and honesty of Jill & Ann, I will return to this store in the future & tell my friends about them.

Chico's Chicos Jewelry: Poor Quality and Customer Service

I gotta say, I bought some jewelry from Chicos a while back, like a year and a half or two years ago, to go with a couple of outfits. They got a pretty good selection of jewelry, and I ended up buying like six or seven pieces over the past couple of years. One piece in particular I really liked, and I wore it like once or twice a week for about a year. But now, the silver plating on the chain has completely worn off, and it's turned all bronze and copper, totally ruining the piece. And I never even slept with it on or let it get wet or anything!

So I took it back to Chicos, hoping to get a replacement or something. But no dice, they weren't having it. They didn't seem to care much about the problem, either. And let me tell you, their jewelry ain't cheap! But then I talked to a jeweler later on, and they told me that the silver plating on Chicos' jewelry is super thin and low quality. So basically, Chicos didn't stand behind their product, and the product itself was just plain bad.

Now, I get that they gotta have a 60-day return policy or whatever, but come on. I expect better quality from Chicos, and better customer service when the quality is just plain garbage.

Chico's Chico's Scratchy Labels Ruined My Clothes: A Disappointed Customer's Review

I gotta say, I ain't one to write reviews, but after what happened yesterday, I gotta speak my mind. I've been buying tops from Chico's for years now, and I've always had a problem with those dang scratchy labels. They're impossible to remove without ruining the fabric. But yesterday, it was the last straw. I was in a rush to get out the door, so I threw on a new ombr? blue top I just bought. But of course, the label was scratchy as ever. I tried to cut it out, but I ended up tearing the fabric. I called customer service, and the lady was real nice, but she said I couldn't return or get credit for an "altered" product. She even admitted that she has the same problem and cuts hers out too! Can you believe it? And to top it off, I couldn't even get a refund for the sales price I paid for it, since it wasn't on sale anymore. I've been a loyal Chico's customer for over 20 years, but I think it's time to say goodbye. It can't be that hard to use a different fabric for the label, can it? Come on, Chico's, get it together.

Chico's Disappointed with Chico's Customer Service: Final Sale Items Not Returnable

I've been a Chico's customer for more than a decade now, and I've always been happy with their products. I usually spend around $3-5K per year on their clothes, and I even bring my friends and family to the Asheville store whenever they visit. However, my recent experience with their customer service has left me feeling disappointed and frustrated.

I placed an order worth $750, but when the items arrived, I found that four of them were marked as final sale. Two of the items were also not as depicted in color or style as shown online. I decided to take them to the Asheville store to see if I could return them, but the manager was very curt with me and told me that final sale items cannot be returned. She gave me the phone number for customer service and asked me to call them instead.

I followed up with customer service, but they also told me that the items were not returnable. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with their response. Despite my loyalty to Chico's, I felt like they didn't care about my concerns or my business. I even told the customer service representative that I would never shop at Chico's again, but all she said was that she would note it on my account. It felt like they didn't care about losing me as a customer.

As a former business owner myself, I would like to encourage Chico's to read the book "Leadership: How to Win in Today's Marketplace." It's a great resource for businesses that want to succeed in today's competitive market. I hope that Chico's will take the time to read it and learn from it.

As I finish writing this review, I'm packing up over $780 worth of clothes that I was planning to keep. I'm going to return them to the store tomorrow. It's clear that my purchases don't matter to Chico's, but I hope that they will take my feedback seriously and work to improve their customer service in the future.

Chico's Chico's: A Review of Customer Service and Clothing Quality During the Pandemic

I gotta say, I'm a bit surprised by all the negative reviews I've been seeing about Chico's customer service lately. I mean, sure, I had a little hiccup with an online order I placed over the summer - it got charged to my card but never showed up. But when I called them up, they were super quick to fix the issue and even refunded me the difference in price since the item was now on sale. And yeah, it did take a little while for the order to finally arrive - but come on, folks, we're in the middle of a pandemic here! I'm sure their customer service reps are doing the best they can from home.

Anyway, all that aside, I gotta say that I'm still a big fan of Chico's overall. Their clothes are always super stylish, and I've found that their sizing is pretty consistent across the board. Plus, the quality is always top-notch. I really appreciate that they offer a wide range of sizes, too - it's nice to see a retailer that doesn't just cater to one specific body type.

One thing I really love about Chico's is that they don't make shapeless, frumpy clothes like some other retailers that target older women. Their Girlfriend ankle jeans are my absolute favorite - they come in a bunch of different denim washes, some with cute embroidery, and they always have at least one or two trendy prints each season. And the best part? The fit is always spot-on, and they don't sag or bag after a few wears. Plus, they don't shrink if you wash them and hang them to dry - which is a huge plus in my book.

Overall, I'm still a loyal Chico's shopper, and I plan to stick with them through this tough time. I'm a Passport member, so I get free shipping on all my orders - but honestly, I can't wait until it's safe to shop in stores again. The sales staff is always super helpful and friendly, and it's just nice to be able to try things on in person before I buy. So yeah, if you're on the fence about shopping at Chico's, I say go for it - just be patient with the shipping times, and remember that everyone's doing their best right now.

Chico's Chico's Online Ordering and Customer Service: A Terrible Experience

My experience with Chico's was not a good one, especially when it came to ordering Christmas gifts for my mom. I spent hours online trying to get the items gift boxed with gift messages, but the system wouldn't save my changes and I had to keep redoing the order. The online chats were not helpful in solving the problem either. Eventually, I was able to place the order, but Chico's overcharged me for the gift boxes. I had to spend another hour online trying to get that fixed.

Days later, I received an email saying that the order wouldn't arrive until after Christmas. I was frustrated and spent yet another hour on the phone with customer service trying to solve that problem. Finally, the items arrived, but to my surprise, not one of the six items was gift boxed! I had spent all that time and was overcharged for a gift boxing service that I never received. I had ordered the gift boxes so that my father, who has severe arthritis, wouldn't have to wrap presents.

I spent another hour on the phone with customer service, and they said they could refund me the charge for gift boxing. But what about all my aggravation? I was put on hold for ages and was only offered 20% off a future order. Are they kidding me? Why would I ever order from Chico's.com again? I would give them a 0 if I could.

Overall, my experience with Chico's was terrible. The online ordering system was not user-friendly, and the customer service was not helpful in solving my problems. I was overcharged and did not receive the gift boxing service that I had paid for. The only positive thing was that the items eventually arrived, but that was not enough to make up for all the frustration and wasted time.

Chico's Terrible Customer Service and Processes at Chico's - A Frustrating Experience

Chico's ain't the best when it comes to customer service, website and processes. I had to spend a whopping 2 hours just to order some pants for my MIL. If it wasn't for her, I would have never even bothered. And let me tell you, I ain't gonna do it again. First off, the discount that was supposed to happen at checkout didn't even happen. I had to make 3 different phone calls just to get the credit. And even then, I ain't sure if I got it or not. Then, I ordered the pants to be picked up at a local store that said they had it in stock. But after placing the order, I got a message saying that 50% of my order was cancelled. What the heck? I had to call back again just to cancel the entire order and start all over again. And of course, I had to make more calls just to verify that the pants were actually in stock at another nearby store. And to top it all off, I had to call back again just to get someone to send me in writing that I would get the discount because it didn't even appear on the invoice. By the end of it all, I was so mad I could spit nails. I left some feedback and all I got was a lame "I'm sorry but we strive to provide great customer service." Who cares about what you strive to do? You ain't doing it. This place won't be in business for much longer with this kind of nonsense. I ain't never, ever gonna order from this place again. If I could give them 0 stars, I definitely would.

Chico's Disappointing Holiday Experience with Chico's: Poor Customer Service and Delayed Shipping

I recently made an order on Chico's website on November 30th for a Christmas gift that I needed to mail to my loved one before the holiday. I understand that the pandemic has caused some issues, but Chico's had plenty of time to prepare for the holiday season, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. Unfortunately, it has been a frustrating experience trying to get any response from them. I had to make several phone calls and send countless emails just to get a response, and when I finally did, it was either days later or not at all. The only time I received a prompt response was when I contacted a local Chico's store for help.

It has now been over three weeks, and there are only eight days left until Christmas. However, the packages are still sitting in some warehouse, waiting to be picked up. Two of them even got tracking numbers four days ago, but still, no one can give me an answer. This is just poor customer service, organization, and management. I have ordered from many major companies during the past six weeks, including Macy's, eBay, Amazon, Ralph Lauren, J Crew, Gap, Horchow, Belk, and many more. All of them arrived in a timely fashion, considering the slowing of delivery services, but not Chico's.

I am extremely disappointed with the management of Chico's. They were careless and not prepared for the holiday season. I regret making these purchases and will return them when they finally arrive. I will never buy from Chico's again, and I know I am not alone. I have communicated with many others on other websites who have had or are currently having the same experience. It's a shame that Chico's has let down so many of its customers during what should be a joyous time of year.

Chico's Poor Customer Service and Inaccurate Inventory at Chico's

I just wanted to share my experience at Chico's last Friday. My daughter and I decided to stop by and see what was new on the racks, and we also had a gift card to use. Usually, I work with a Russian lady who can be a bit pushy, but she always remembers my size and preferences. Unfortunately, she wasn't there that day. Instead, we were helped by a lady who seemed to be in charge of the store. I'm not sure if she checked my points, but when she tried to run my debit card, it was rejected. I checked with my bank and resolved the issue, but the next 10 minutes were spent trying to convince her that the transaction was valid and the funds were available. I think because it was close to closing time, she wasn't interested in helping us. She was rude to both of us and to the other lady who worked in the store. I don't care what her position is - her behavior was unacceptable. Although the transaction was eventually reversed and my bank account was credited, her salesmanship has confirmed that I need to shop when my usual helper, Vera, is working or just take my business elsewhere.

And don't even get me started on the mess that is My Closet. I don't know whose closet that is, but it certainly isn't mine. I have proof of my past purchases, and they don't match up with the items in My Closet. It's a shame that after almost four years, Chico's still doesn't seem to care about their customers. My review from 12/21/18 still applies - they need to do better.

Chico's Disappointing Experience with Chico's: Delayed Shipping and Poor Customer Service

I recently bought a dress from Chico's on May 9th, hoping to wear it to my son's graduation on May 22nd. I paid $17.95 for expedited shipping, and the email confirmation said that it would arrive by May 12th. However, on May 16th, I started to worry when I couldn't track my dress. The "Order Status" link on their website didn't work, and neither did the live chat. When I called, I had to wait for 20 minutes before hanging up. Finally, I was able to speak to a representative, but she was very rude to me. She interrupted me and said that she had no control over shipping issues and that they were shipping 3-5 days behind. I was polite and explained that I just wanted to track my dress, but she couldn't find any information about it. She apologized for her initial behavior and refunded my expedited shipping fee, but I was still left without my dress for my son's graduation.

It's now May 26th, and I still haven't received my dress. The live chat and "Order Status" link still don't work, and I don't want to deal with their customer service reps again over the phone. I'm very disappointed with this experience and have no intentions of shopping at Chico's again. I even tried to leave a review on their website, but they refused to publish it because they said it went against their guidelines. I wonder how many negative reviews they don't publish. This has been the worst online transaction I've ever had.

Chico's Mixed Bag: Impressed with Some Items, Disappointed with Others, and Terrible Customer Service

I gotta say, I was pretty impressed with some of the stuff I got from Chico's. Those slub t shirts were on point - they fit like tunics and looked super cute. And the leggings? Different designs, but still great. I also snagged a couple pairs of their Brigette so slimming crops and ankle pants, and those were pretty sweet too.

But then I ordered their jeggings, and that's when things started to go south. I got a size 1, but they were huge - like, 8 inches too big in the waist. So I sent 'em back and got a size zero. But even those were way too big in the waist, and the legs were all baggy and wrinkly and made of cheap material. Not cool.

Still, I was willing to give 'em another shot. I tried to order something else on my perfectly good debit card, but it got cancelled. So I called up an operator and she ordered it for me. But then, five orders in a row got cancelled. What gives? They put all these pendings on my account, and it took a ton of phone calls to get 'em taken off. Apparently, they thought we were fraudsters or something. But our bank said no way - they hadn't declined anything or flagged us for fraud.

Now, Chico's has blocked our email when we try to respond to them. But they can still send emails to us whenever they want. It's like they're trying to make it impossible for us to shop with them. And we've spent thousands of dollars in their stores over the years! It's just not right.

We've got other companies we order clothes from that we have good relationships with. We've never had a problem like this before, and we've certainly never been accused of fraud. We keep all our computers and stuff encrypted and password-protected, so there's no way they can claim we're doing anything shady. It's insulting, really.

Anyway, I guess we'll just take our business elsewhere. There's gotta be a better company out there that actually wants our money.

Chico's Refund nightmare!

I wish I had read all these bad reviews before I purchased. I ordered a pretty eyelet dress in my normal size 12. It was insanely huge, I downsized and ordered a 10, still huge. I ordered a beautiful black dress in my normal size, 12, also huge but I kept it and will have it taken in since I really like it. Everything was on sale, shipped back the 2 eyelet dresses 12 days ago and heard nothing. I had to call Chicos today to make sure they received both boxes, no alerts, nothing. Then I was told I had to wait until it got to the warehouse a couple days and then another 7 to 10 days which is crazy. The customer service rep was patient and helpful so appreciated that but I was not happy. Now miraculously I have a refund issued the same day which should be in my account tomorrow I hope. But from $67.49 I am only receiving $56.24. Still waiting for the other refund. The lack of communication, being charged over $11 for this return and having to play detective to find out about my refund is really bad customer service. Ive been in luxury retail, I've had my own design business and store, and never treated customers this way. When Ive returned online purchases, usually because of sizing, the vendor acknowledges receipt and does the refund promptly. So now once all is done, I've lost almost $23 in a very unpleasant shopping experience. I will never shop with Chicos or any of its sister stores again. And I will be filing complaints with other bureaus about this company. By the way every day I am inundated with texts, emails daily from Chicos, its nonstop. They bombard you to get your business and then its screw you. Really bad customer service. I'm unsubscribing to all asap

Chico's Reviewing the Process, Not the Product. Total Fiasco!

I ordered a dress from Chico's on 5/9 to wear to my son's graduation on 5/22, and I paid $17.95 for expedited shipping. The email order confirmation said the ETA was 5/12. On 5/16 I started trying to track the dress. The "Order Status" link on the website didn't work, the live chat didn't work, and when I called, I waited 20 mins before hanging up. When she realized that I was being polite and not blaming or harassing her for the shipping issues, she apologized for her initial behavior and refunded my expedited shipping fee. I went to my son's graduation without the dress (which will be immediately returned upon receipt), with no knowledge of its whereabouts, and with no intentions of ever shopping Chico's again. Today is 5/26. The dress is MIA, the live chat still doesn't work, the "Order Status" link still doesn't work, and I'm definitely not dealing with their customer service reps again via telephone. Also - I tried to leave a review on their website, and they refused to publish it because they said it went against their guidelines; it was very similar in tone to this one. I'd love to know how many negative reviews go unpublished. This is possibly the worst online transaction I've ever experienced.

Chico's Was very good until

Subsiquently I orderd a few more orders of things I wanted as we will be taking a vacation soon. 5 orders had cancelled. But it put all pendings on our account. It took many many phone calls to get the pendings taken off. They told me we were flagged as fraud. Our bank said no way they declined anything or deemed anything fraud. Now Chico's blocks our email when we try to respond to them. Yet they can send emails through to our email anytime they want. We feel like this is a crappy way to do business and treat people. Yet trying to resolve this issue they kept promising to call us back and never would.
I bet over the years we have spent thousands in their stores when they had ones close to us. Now it is impossible for us to shop because we cannot get the orders to stop cancelling yet putting pendings on our bank account.
It is like they have banned us for wanting to spend money on them. We did nothing wrong. But I guess their is a better company out there who will take our money. We have several other companies we order clothes from that we have good business relationships with. Never have we ever had a problem ordering like this and never have we had a company claim fraud when we ordered and our bank hasn't declined anything. They cannot claim fraud on us because we have our computers and everything we do encrypted and pass word protected. No one has our credit and debit information. So claiming they cancel orders because of fraud is really insulting our charachater.

Chico's Cancellation of mail delivery of item ordered in store

On August 30, 2023 an order was placed at the Chico's store in Stuart, FL for mail delivery of Alabaster Neema Eyelet Crop pants, Style #[protected], SKU: [protected], Order Number: L000300830230010016600100.

Email received on September 2 confirming the order had been processed. Upon later checking on line, the order did not appear.

Contacted online Chat and was informed delivery would be up to 14 days from date of order.

On September 7th the order was arbitrarily cancelled and a refund put in place.

Why was order cancelled when it had been processed 5 days earlier, and confirmed by Chat on line?

I have been a Chico's client for 30 years, and am very disappointed by this cavalier treatment.

Chico's Chicos, Bring Back the Quality: A Customer's Plea for Better Clothing

I used to be a big fan of Chicos and would spend a good chunk of change, around $300 to $600, every time I visited their store. However, I've noticed that the quality of their clothing has gone down over the past 2 to 3 years. I've been complaining about this for a while now, but it seems like no one is listening. Chicos, please go back to what worked for you! We, as customers, know when we're paying too much for low-quality items and it's just not worth it anymore.

It seems like someone in the corporate office is not paying attention to what we want. We want quality fabrics at reasonable prices. We used to love shopping at Chicos, but now we're not buying like we used to. If you want to improve your sales, please listen to us. I would be happy to visit a Chicos store and give you feedback on specific items. You should put together a group of people to do this, but make sure they know what they're talking about. I used to be a department store buyer, so I know how important the feel of fabric and attention to detail is.

Chicos, let's get back to the old days when your clothes were high-quality and affordable. I believe that if you do this, you will be successful once again.

Chico's Chicos: Lower Quality Fabrics, Higher Prices, and No Sales - What's Happening?

So, I went to the Chicos store at our mall, but it was closed. I was pretty bummed because the manager there was a real piece of work. She was always so rude when you tried to return something. But now, I'm not sure if I'm missing out on much. I've noticed that Chicos seems to be using lower quality fabrics and charging higher prices. What's up with that? It's like their heads have gotten too big or something. And they hardly ever have sales anymore. I remember when they used to have 20% or 40% off all the time. Now, it's like they think they're too good for that. And don't even get me started on the print patterns. I mean, who needs a giant eagle across their chest? It's just too much.

The bottom line is that Chicos clothes seem really cheap now. I have to be really careful when I'm looking at an item to see what it's made of and if it will hold up after a few washings. And when they do send you a coupon, it's hardly worth it. It used to be $20 off $100, but now you have to spend way over a hundred just to use the coupon. Come on, Chicos, bring back the sales! Don't price yourself out of the market. We customers are watching you, and we want to see you succeed.

Chico's Chico's vs. DSW: A Shoe Showdown & Finding Deals at Marshalls

Chico's used to be my go-to for shopping, but lately I haven't been frequenting the store as much, especially when it comes to shoes. I mean, who wants to spend a whopping $139 on a pair of sandals that barely have any features and slip off your feet? Not me, that's for sure. I've found that DSW has a much better selection of shoes that are not only nicer and prettier, but also more comfortable. And the best part? They're $50 to $60 cheaper than Chico's!

I recently came across a pair of traveler pants at Chico's that caught my eye. They were quite expensive, made of polyester, and didn't even have pockets. The only redeeming quality was the elastic waistband, which made them easy to pull on and off. I needed them for an upcoming leg surgery, so I was willing to splurge. However, fate had other plans for me. The very same day, I stumbled upon the exact same pair of pants at Marshalls for only $10! I couldn't believe my luck. They were identical to the Chico's pants, but made by a different brand. I was over the moon with my find.

Overall, while I still like Chico's for certain things, I've learned that it's always worth it to shop around and compare prices. You never know what gems you might find elsewhere.

Chico's Breaking Up with Chico's: A Disappointing Decline in Quality and Customer Service

I've been a Chico's fan for a long time, but I'm sad to say that I'm breaking up with them. I used to think that their clothes were the best - stylish, well-made, and perfect for both work and play. Even though I'm not exactly a spring chicken anymore, I always felt beautiful in their outfits. And let's not forget about their models - they always looked amazing in Chico's clothes!

But lately, things have gone downhill. Customer service used to be top-notch, but now it's just a bunch of generic responses that don't really address my concerns. It's like they're reading from a script or something. And instead of actually helping me, they just suggest that I try shopping at Soma or some other store. What kind of customer service is that?

And don't even get me started on the quality and styles of their clothes. They used to be worth the higher prices, but now they're no better than what you can find at cheaper stores. It's like they're cutting corners and trying to save money, but still charging the same amount. I'm not falling for it anymore.

So, unfortunately, I have to say goodbye to Chico's. It's been a good run, but it's time to move on.

Chico's Terrible Customer Service and Incompetent Responses from Chico's - Save Yourself the Headache and Shop Elsewhere

I gotta tell ya, I had a real bad experience with Chico's customer service. I mean, it was like talking to a brick wall, ya know? I was on hold for what felt like an eternity, and when I tried to chat with someone online, it was like they were ignoring me. So I sent an email to try and fix the problem, and let me tell ya, the response I got was straight up incompetent. It took a whole week to get back to me, and then I got two more weird replies over the next couple of weeks.

But that's not even the worst part. I was supposed to get free shipping because of COVID-19 and the stores being closed, but they still charged me $7. And get this, when I returned an item, they charged me sales tax on it! Like, what kind of nonsense is that? Everyone knows you don't charge sales tax on a return, because the order was cancelled out. But apparently Chico's doesn't know how to do simple math.

Overall, I would not recommend Chico's to anyone. Their customer disservice is a real joke, and they don't seem to care about their customers at all. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else.

Chico's Disappointing Experience with Chico's Website: Lack of Transparency with Sale and Subpar Customer Service

I stumbled upon Chico's website and was thrilled to find some of their products on a great sale. However, I was disappointed to see that there was no mention of when the sale would end. Usually, sales are made clear through banner ads and such, but not this time. I decided to come back the next morning to make my purchase, but to my surprise, the sale prices were nowhere to be found. I was quite frustrated by this, as I had my heart set on buying those products at a discounted price.

I then signed up for the first time customer 20% + an additional 20% discount, but to my dismay, the discount never showed up in my email. I did receive other marketing emails, but not the one I was eagerly waiting for. I decided to reach out to customer service for help, and they offered to give me a call to assist with my purchase. However, I didn't need any help with my purchase; it was the pricing that was the issue. When I told the representative that I wasn't available for a call at the moment, they ghosted me. To make matters worse, the function to email the transcript of our conversation to my email didn't work, so I have no record of the conversation.

Overall, my experience with Chico's website was extremely frustrating. I was excited to make a purchase, but the lack of transparency with the sale and the missing discount left me feeling disappointed. The customer service experience was also subpar, as the representative ghosted me and the email transcript function didn't work. I will be taking my dollars elsewhere.

Chico's Disappointed with Chico's: Poor Quality and Customer Service

I recently had an experience with Chico's that left me feeling disappointed. I purchased a pair of "the so slimming girl friend ankle pant" in a size 0.5, as I had previously bought a pair in a different color and loved them. However, after only a short time of wearing them, I noticed that they were constantly sliding down and I had to keep pulling them up. I assumed that I must have accidentally bought a size 1.0, but upon checking, I realized that both pairs were actually the same size.

Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the waistband on the new pair was now 2 inches bigger than the waistband on my previous pair, which had originally fit perfectly. I was disappointed with the quality of the merchandise and decided to return the new pair to the store in Houston, TX.

Unfortunately, the manager informed me that because it had been over 60 days since my purchase, they could not offer me a refund or alteration. I was frustrated, as I do not expect clothing to only last for such a short period of time. I even emailed Chico's to express my disappointment, but received no response.

Overall, I would caution others to be wary of the quality of merchandise at Chico's. While I have had positive experiences with the brand in the past, this recent experience has left me feeling let down. I hope that Chico's takes customer feedback into consideration and works to improve the quality of their products in the future.

Chico's Disappointing Customer Service and Shipping Experience with Chico's

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Chico's. I shelled out some extra cash for expedited shipping, but after waiting for five whole days, my order is still marked as "ready to go". This isn't the first time this has happened with Chico's, either. They did give me a refund for the shipping charges, but they won't even try to contact FedEx to figure out what's going on. I tried to explain to them on chat that it would carry more weight if they reached out to FedEx themselves, but they just told me "I have assisted you" and left it at that. Not cool, Chico's.

To make matters worse, I've also received items from Chico's that had stains on them or perspiration marks in the armpits of tops. When I tried to return these items through the mail, it took over a month for Chico's to even acknowledge that they had received the return. I had to go to the nearest Chico's store in person to return the items. I mean, come on, Chico's. You have some really nice clothes, but your customer service is just plain rude and deplorable.

Honestly, this last experience has me seriously considering shopping elsewhere. It's a shame, because I really do like Chico's clothes, but I just can't deal with this kind of treatment.

Chico's Disappointing Experience with Chico's Pull-On Capris: Stretching and Customer Service Issues

I recently bought a bunch of Chico's pull on capris in different colors. I was excited to try them on and see how they fit. When I put them on, they felt pretty good. However, I did notice that they were Made in China. I didn't wear them for a while because of Covid, but I finally got the chance to wear them when I went to visit my family out of state last week.

I put on my first pair of capris and within minutes, they started to stretch out so much that I had to keep pulling them up. It was so uncomfortable! I tried to tighten the front with a big pin, but it only made things worse. The front was baggy, the seat was baggy, and I just couldn't keep them up. Unfortunately, all of the pants were the same.

When I got home, I decided to contact Chico's to see if I could exchange or get a credit. I explained my situation and asked if there was anything they could do. Unfortunately, since I had worn a couple of pairs once and had already washed them, they couldn't do anything for me. I was really disappointed because I had spent a lot of money on these pants and now I can't wear them or return them or get anything else.

I had no idea that these pants would stretch out so much. It's really frustrating because I was looking forward to wearing them and now I can't. I'm really disappointed in Chico's and their customer service. I wish they could have done something to help me out.

Chico's Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Chico's Online Order

I recently placed an order on Chico's website on August 14th, 2020. I paid $6.95 for shipping, but unfortunately, I have not received any information about my order through tracking. I tried contacting customer service, but they were unable to help me with a refund or reorder. This is very disappointing and frustrating.

When I called customer service on the day my order was supposed to be delivered, a lady told me that if I didn't receive my item by the end of the day, I should call back and they would refund my money and I could reorder. However, when I called back in the evening and spoke with Brittany, she told me that I had to wait 10 business days before they could return my money. She also said that I could reorder and pay for shipping again if I wanted to, but Chico's poor customer service would not help me.

Usually, when there is no information on tracking, it means that something happened to the package. I am very disappointed with Chico's customer service and I plan to complain to my credit card company and dispute the amount. If this had happened with Bed Bath & Beyond, DSW, Walmart, or Lowe's, they would have helped me with a reorder and return immediately. It's frustrating to deal with a company that doesn't care about its customers.

Chico's Faulty material

Over the past several months I purchased several tee-shirt type tops. Almost every one developed holes n the Same spot on the front after the 1st or 2nd wash. It is not the washing machine as other people I know are having the same problem.

Several people told me they have had the same experience. I also spoke with 3 diffevent managers at the stores who know of the problem.

I just took out a load of clothes and there are holes in a Chicos shirt I wore twice.

I am 4’ 10” tall with a short trunk. Chicos has been my main store for years. The quality has dropped severely. Chicos is one of two stores I am able to buy clothes that fit. I have spent several hundred dollars on shirts. Can you offer any compensation for a problem with the clothing you are having made overseas?

Chico's Customer Service

My aunt is coming down to visit. I wanted to surprise her with a shopping spree for 8/6/22. I was told to go online and schedule the appointment to have a employee personally help her shop. I went online and booked for 9 AM. It was accepted and I later received an email, so I called the store because of the email. I was told the store doesn't open that early. (Well why is that an option of time?) So, then I was told they could accommodate me for 9:30am. (The woman had an accent) I called today 7/31/22 to ask about a time change. I was then told no because there is a fashion show. I then preceded to ask if 9:30 was still good and Diane said it would not be good because she will be tied up with the fashion show. This is terrible customer service because when was I going to be notified of this? What would've happened if I showed up expecting to get the services I signed up for? Chico's Store Manager Diane Miner

While recently working at Chico's at Town & Country (store 203) on Saturday, July the 17th I was doing a return for a customer. The transaction indicated that the customer would be receiving a check. Since this was an online order, it was perplexing. Diane Miner (who was working the other register) asked what was wrong when I told her she called for the closing manager Stacia Rabia to come help. When Stacia approached the register to help and explain the problem, Diane Miner rudely interrupted and told me to get out of the way and ‘go play’ she said this in front of the customers and left everyone quite appalled and uncomfortable when I approached her about her behavior, she said: “well it's better than telling you to go steam”.

I know that Chico's has its employees do training related to such behaviors, so I'm not exactly sure why Diane felt it was in best to humiliate me after taking such training classes and in front of customers. I was so upset I had to leave for the evening and have not been back for another shift. I told her behavior was rude and unwarranted. As a manager she should train her staff rather than humiliate them. I do not believe this type of behavior is part of Chico’s management training, so why is Diane allowed to behave in such a way.

Desired outcome: I believe Diane Miner needs to be reprimanded for her behavior

Chico's Chico's Online Order System

I placed an order with Chico's online and when the order processed, I noticed the address was my old address from where I had recently moved. I IMMEDIATELY hit the online chat button to contact them to change the shipping address. I was put in the queue and waited about 30 minutes for a customer assistant. When I told them I needed the address changed or that I wanted to cancel and then reorder, I was told that any changes had to be done within 30 minutes of placing an order. My closet is FULL of Chico clothes; however, I can reassure you that there will never be any more added. So Unprofessional and not customer-oriented.

Desired outcome: Make the address change or cancel the order and refund the money.

I feel I was charged for the same item twice. I purchased a Jacket, pants and tee for $302.33. Paid $302.33 on 5/11. Then on 5/13 you charged me $151.18. I did not purchase anything else. I feel you charged me twice for the jacket?
