Lease buyout
In March of 2022 I bought out the lease on my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. The process at the dealership was smooth as should be. I also provided a bank check for $10,000.00 at time of buyout. I continued to make payments online for the next few months. I then started receiving refund checks from them. When I got online to see my account, it was gone. I called them and they told me that my lease was not purchased and they were going to repossess my vehicle. After many calls to them and the dealership they realized they made a mistake, it is now September. I have been on the phone with corporate daily for the last 6 days. For the past 2 days I have received calls from their debt collection department. I told them to check my account and see that there was an issue and that we were currently in talks to get it resolved. They had paid the wrong lease off. They said it was fixed, well, now it shows I have two of the same vehicle, one is leased and one is retail. I am currently still in talks daily with them trying to get it resolved and last I heard they were putting together a compensation package for me. This morning I was to leave out of state for work, guess who’s vehicle was repossessed! Yep, mine! It is now October 18th, 2022. 7 months ago I purchased the lease out. Oh remember I put $10,000 down when I did the buyout, they said they did not get it nor does it show on the paperwork. Guess who has the copy from the bank including the date I withdrew it and the date it was processed by them. Stay tuned, this will also include reports to BBB and the lawyer I obtained is loving this!

Repo service/2018 dodge Challenger
09/03/2022 a repo man unlawfully entered my yard without notice, or identification took the chain off my back gate ignoring the no trespassing sign in window and breaching the peace, while neighbors was out I was sitting in my car(2018 dodge Challenger) he hooked me up to the tow truck and giving verbal threats saying he would call the police when he had no right to come in my yard I didn't receive any notice to bring my account current or the it was up for repossession I believe this is a breach of my contract

Personal vehicle leasing payments and statements
When I receive a statement it has multiple amounts due that don't make any sense, and then the actual payment portal has different amounts due; there is a "payment due" amount, a "current payment" due amount which are different. When I go to customer support tabs on their website they tell me to contact my support representative? When I asked for a breakdown of my payments owed/paid/remaining balance, they sent me a simple ledger with no real information. My question is simple: what do I still owe and what have I paid? Their system is confusing, misleading, and clearly unprofessional. I fear that when I turn my vehicle in at the end of the lease I'll be hit up with fees or remaining balance I had no idea was owed because they weren't transparent.
Desired outcome: I need to see my entire account with all payments, remaining balances, fees, payoff, etc. like any modern, decent website.
Refund on an overpayment
On September 11 2021 I made a 2000$ payment and September 12 another 2000$ payment on my 2017 jeep wrangler, My confirmation no. Is 142356491an [protected]. I received the first payment of 2000$ in November and after calling every few weeks after the first I still have not received the second 2000$. I've always had a good experience with Chrysler Capital. After talking to customer service which everyone is so nice they all say even manager of refund that it's being filed and we see you keep calling, to be patient u should be receiving the check and to this date I've seen no check. I really hope this issue can get resolved

Remark on Closed Account
New Leased vehicle totaled in crash. Immediately paid in full by State Farm. Chrysler reported all payments made on time to credit bureau but added a remark "Early Termination/Insurance Loss" to Trans Union. "Early Termination" to Trans Union = 60 day late payment. Immediately dropped my credit score 100 points. Chrysler will not remove their remark because they say it is accurate and they need it for some reason (I am certain it is vital to the company). Trans Union keeps verifying that the remark is correct and they view it as negative. Over a year, multiple calls, on-line disputes etc. to no avail.
The only thing the "remark" has done for Chrysler Capital is ensure that I will never buy another one of their products, says the guy with 100k in Wranglers in his garage. The Bronco is looking a lot better.
Desired outcome: Remove/Change "remark" so that it is not negative in the eyes of Trans Union. All payments were on time and account satisfactory. I am not the first person this exact same situation has impacted (google it!).
Refund check never received
My car was repossessed back in October 2021 because My payments were 3 months behind (owed 20,986.74) They sold my 2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited Edition on 11/13/2021 for $23,900. Since the vehicle was in outstanding condition, with low miles. The remaining balance after deductions & fees they said I’m entitled to a refund of 1,598.31. This letter came in the mail 12/02/2021
The following month I called, they said it was delivered and it takes times. Beginning February 2022 I called every week, and still nothing. MARCH 13th they reissued another check. Still today is May 12th and I’m yet to see any check or information. Please help

Lease buyout- unprofessional
I bought out my lease and working with Chrysler Capital was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I thought I was all done with my buyout/with the company, however, I recently found out they gave me the wrong information about my registration resulting in paying a big fee. When inquiring about it they said there was nothing they could do except take note to train their employee’s to give the right information to customers. Needless to say I will never be a customer of Chrysler Capital again and do not recommend them to anyone!
Holding my title hostage!!
I mailed a check to Chrysler Capital on 2/28. The check cleared my bank on 3/3. Since that time I have had endless calls to try to determine when they would send the title.
Today, 3/29 I called again. I was told that is to be released 4/5. No idea why?
I was just informed that it takes 30-45 days, I don’t completely understand why it would take that long to mail a title.
On top of that a screen popped up to file a complaint, it was a service that charged a 50.00/monthly fee to file a complaint.
Desired outcome: I just want my title send to me, they have had the advantage of the float for 60 days now.
Helping me out with a payment while my truck was in repair for six weeks
My truck was damaged from a tornado that hit our house on july 24 2021. Went to dick huarves in richmond michigan to have it repaired through our insurance AAA. Was told the repairs would take about 10 days. My truck was finally completed in 6 weeks. Sent many e-mails & phone calls to chrysler capital asking for a break on payments for a truck that was in repair longer than expected. Why should i make a payment on something i cant use?, truck was not in accident, mother nature.
Interest rate given at time of purchase
I purchased my 2021 Dodge Durango on 01/30/2022, at the time of purchase I was told I was getting 4.5% which is poor considering I have a 850+ credit score day of purchase. The dealer processed it at 5.5% and when Chrysler Capital reviewed the recent installment contract they came to the conclusion that I should have 5.2% and sent me a letter which informed me of the rate differences. I talked with the dealer and Chrysler Capital financing and customer service, I was told to contact the dealer and get them to defund the loan and start if over because it was done everyday. The dealer would not help at all after several discussions with a variety of individuals. I called and asked Chrysler to help since they should have caught the interest rate being so high with that credit score during their review. Unfortunately Chrysler Capital would not help me, which for as big as they are you would think they would, but the answer was no and talk to the dealer. It is very frustrating that even Chrysler Capital knows and agreed that the interest rate was to high but will do nothing at all. The saddest part of all this is the acting general manager a the dealership told me that my credit score would have received a 0% interest rate and all I would have given up was $750 dollars on a rebate, I was never offered that deal at all. The crooked practices from both the dealer and Chrysler Capital are very disturbing considering the economy is so bad and they should be happy to have people buying vehicles especially people with this type of credit score... they are pretty much guaranteed to get payment every month. I was told by the dealer that Chrysler Capital only deals with sub prime borrowers... my reaction is Wow really I am not one of those buyers so why did they want my loan anyways?
Desired outcome: I want Chrysler Captial to review the installment contract and respond with an interest rate that warrants my exceptional credit score. They should have caught this during the 1st review.
Lease agreement and refund of pre-paid mileage
I've leased vehicles for the better part of 30 years and I always pre-pay mileage at the beginning of the lease. This ensures that if I go over the allotted mileage then I'm not stuck with a large bill at the end of the lease. Any unused pre-paid mileage is refunded at the end of the lease.
So I leased a 2019 Jeep and pre-paid for 9,000 miles or $1,800 but in this case, I purchased the vehicle at the end of the lease. I did not go over the allotted mileage for the lease and so there is no reason I should not receive the pre-paid mileage as a refund of $1,800.
Chrysler Capital does not refund pre-paid mileage when an individual purchases a vehicle at the end of the lease. Because I chose to pre-pay mileage they are now stealing my money. If I had not pre-paid mileage there would not have been a fee assessed or any other charge for my decision to purchase. Chrysler Capital is simply keeping and stealing my $1,800.
Desired outcome: Please refund my $1,800 in pre-paid mileage and change this unethical business practice so that others are not impacted.
Unsolicited email stating I was preapproved for loan
I received an email from chrysler capital stating I was preauthorized for a car loan and a link to begin buying a car from them. I did not apply for a loan and was concerned someone applied for a loan in my name. I attempted to contact them via phone number listed on their email. I called 4 time to speak with someone regarding this. There was not a prompt to speak with someone without giving an account number, which I don't have or my ss# which I will not do. I hit the # 0 several times and was directed a a collection agency, then told they were having technical difficulties and then was disconnected.
Desired outcome: I want information confirming that I did not apply for a loan then want my name removed from their email.
Car loan
CC is the biggest scam company there is! I am absolutely sickened over the service that we were provided over the last few days. My car was put into good standing and was taken out of repo status yet they decided to take it and instead of allowing us to pay the tow fee and going on about payments like we had scheduled they said we needed to pay in full instead and would no longer continue the loan. We asked multiple times that they call the loan holders phone and not any other number on file and anytime there was an issue with the loan that number would be the way to get it resolved. Instead the marked that number as a do not call and only called numbers where nobody could handle the issues. They didnt even call in the repo so even the police thought the car was stolen! They said they keep the cars local however its 2 hours from where it was picked up and over 9 hours away from the home address. So now we cant get our things. The lied multiple times about allowing us to continue the loan. This is ridiculous. The way this was handled is disgusting. We even told them the reason the account holder wasnt able to work was due to covid cases inside the home included the account holder themselves. Even offered proof of those dated tests. They dropped the ball and now we have no car. During a pandemic... horrible. We setup payments etc and on Friday that was perfectly fine they were willing to continue the loan. Suddenly Monday now they have the car they wont.
Desired outcome: Figure this out ASAP! We deserve to have the car back. The ball was dropped on your end just as much as ours and we setup a plan that was ACCEPTED

Not applying my payoff check to my account properly and timely!!!
My name is Kyra C. Hall and I have as of January 8, 2022 sent in yet a second check to Chrysler capital to pay off and close my account that referenced a 2020 ram 1500. The navy federal check in question was indeed overnighted and received on January 10, 2022 at 7:33am by an s. Figueroa-a Chrysler capital employee. It is my assertion that this check should have been scanned into their payables system and then applied to my account in 24-48hrs... Well it's now January 17, 2022, and my husband myself will not be able to close on our new home tomorrow January 18, 2022 because no one at Chrysler capital (besides Mrs. Stacey this morning at 8:02am) can give me a definitive explanation as to why this very common process of applying money is taking so long! I don't want to hear about covid, it's now being overused and people are using it so that they aren't held responsible for poor customer service! I serve people everyday... And if I did to my clients what Chrysler capital is doing to me... I wouldn't have a business. One thing for certain... I will never be a customer of Chrysler capital again, I and will make sure to pass this very unfortunate experience on to everyone I do business with!
Desired outcome: As of today 1-17-22 3:25pm.. NOTHING!! I had to spend more money to Fax and Fed-Ex a copy of the SIGNED SECOND check..FRONT and BACK!!
6+ months, still, no title
I leased a vehicle through a Jeep dealership here in July 2018. My lease was through Chrysler Capital. In June 2021, I bought out my lease. My bank paid Chrysler Capital and I started paying on my loan on 6/28/2021.
Since then, I have been trying to get the correct paperwork to transfer the car into my name. I have talked to Chrysler Capital so many times on the phone, week after week. Of course the excuses are covid is making the DMV slow. Fine. I kept calling back and finally we agreed that the title was lost and that paperwork needed to be submitted to request a duplicate title.
I tried to handle it on my own. But after multiple attempts of going to the DMV, I was not equipped with the right paperwork because original signatures were needed on the Chrysler Capital side. California has some special paperwork that has to be submitted with the request, with original signatures (so faxing and email is not an option). So finally in August, Chrysler Capital agreed to submit the application for duplicate title themselves. THEY should have known that this wasn't something I can do on my own. I also started to question WHY I am the one doing this, shouldn't it be Chrysler Capital and Bank of America coordinating?
At the end of our call, Chrysler Capital said the paperwork would be mailed to me after they receive it.
I called again in late September after not receiving any updates. They said they made the request to the DMV and the DMV estimated November for the mailing of the title.
It's now January, and I do not have the title. In addition, I learned there a lot of recalls on my car that I was never notified about. My bank is now putting pressure on me as well. Chrysler Capital needs to close the loop and give me the title and all paperwork that the California DMV requires.
Desired outcome: The title of my vehicle and all required paperwork for California DMV to properly transfer the title of the car
Title issues
I bought out my lease and my title was sent to me unsigned I had to mail it back. Then I went to motor vehicles to get the title under my name but the title was checked off that it was damaged. Customer service told me to call a third party that handles titles. I called them and they said it is up to Chrysler to resolve this. I called back Chrysler and was told to call my insurance company. You would think the title department would not make a mistake on a title For me it was two mistakes. They are clueless in the title department. Will never give them my business again

iam told that i have a past due on my account and the monthly pay ment is taken out of my bank every month and has been for the past four years chrysler account number is 8798785 statement date is12/16/2021 a payment of 358.11 was made on 12/06/2021 statement says past due amount is due by 12/05/2021 and payment was made on 12/06/2021 why was this payment not deducted from my balance?

2020 Jeep Renegade
I traded in my vehicle in August 2021. There was an overpayment and a refund on gap insurance due. I have been calling for four months and every time I'm told they are working on it. They will not transfer you to the accounting department because they don't take phone calls and they won't return phone calls. My last call I was assigned to a resolution specialist who told me I would no longer have to call the customer service line, she would be personally handling it and call me back. I never heard from her. If I were one day late on my car payment I would be charged interest and they would be blowing up my phone. I'm tired of being told they are working on it.
Desired outcome: Money owed plus accrued interest
Title
My husband and I bought a van and the statements came every month saying how much was being taken out of our checking account. The van was paid off june of 2021 and I hadn't received our title. So after numerous phone calls and a different story every time. I learned our title was sent to our old address. But now I have to pay 50.00 to the dmv for a lost /duplicate title when I have never seen my title. It's amazing that I got the monthly statements to the right address but not the title. I am not happy with how this has been handled and I surely will not use chrysler capital again. I don't understand how this becomes my part to pay when I paid for the vehicle.

Leasing a car
On Oct.26, 2021 Our Daughter was attacked and assaulted just as she exited her 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee leased thru Chrysler Capital. They wanted her Keys to her car so she lost her purse, her keys and they stole her car. This was immediately reported to the Police. She was punched and hit and may have ended up with a slight concussion because of this traumatic ordeal.
Two days later the Criminals that stole her car led Police on a chase in which they had to use stop sticks to end the chase. The Criminals however escaped. The Jeep was recovered but damaged. There is at least $8000 of damage and the inside was pretty messed up. Because of this attack, our daughter is no longer staying at her apartment but living with us at the moment. She is terrified to go back to her apartment and she wants nothing to do with the car because these thugs were in her car doing who knows what in it. This area she lives was her safe haven but that has now been ruined by this attack.
She works at a Level 1 Trauma center providing help to those that need it and now she needs help. She has worked hard to get where she's at including leasing this Brand New Jeep. The Insurance Company is not totaling the Jeep so it's being repaired. But Our Daughter wants nothing to do with it. I have tried on at least 3 occasions to call Chrysler Capital to see what her options are on getting out of this lease. Surely this company would understand when someone goes thru a traumatic experience that they should assist them in anyway but this company only cares about the bottom line. They refuse to discuss any options on her getting out of this Lease.
Chrysler Capital needs to step up and do the right thing!
