discrimination
On the 04/09 the coles staff member Kaylea was extremely rude and discriminatory towards me and my family at Coles pacific pines. We had to call her a few times for assistance yet we were the only customers there and she repeatedly walked away. We had to remind her to give us the mini shop items and asked if we could swap one that she gave us. She was extremely rude and refused although a week before on 27/08 we witnessed her allowing another shopper search through her bag and take which ones she wanted. The same customer walked out the store with only two items of shopping. I mentioned this to her and she rudely said I don't care I still won't swap it. My little son said but I saw You letting my school mates mum choose her little shop to which she replied I still don't care. I do understand if the policy was not to swap, we could have been communicated to in a much better manner but why were we discriminated against when a week before the same staff member allowed another customer to break the so called policy. My 6 year old walked out of the shop and said mum if she says she doesn't care why would she still work at Coles. This was upsetting and we felt compromised and I would certainly not want to shop at Coles again.
avocado
I bought 6 pcs.avocado it's $2 per each in Coles Chinatown Broome WA branch. Because avoacoda is one of a favorite of my lil one. When we came home i opened it and its already brown inside then i open the next one and next one and next one but it's all the same! Went back try to atleast exchange it but sadly i don't have the reciept normally we not grabbing the reciept when we doing shopping except it i bought some electrical. I does'nt expected that avocado's is roten and still they selling it! I'm really dissapointed because it's so pricey but the manager did not give me a refund! I had the picture i want to attach it but i don't think i can!
coles mini case
I have looked and gone to Coles looking for a Case for the minis with no luck. What l dont understand is there are so many minis and not enough cases. I have looked on ebay and gumtree and the prices are over the top. So the familys which are spending money to get the minis for there kids have been ripped off by not getting a cases from them. I rang my store they had 2 boxes and sold in an hour so people like me missed out again. I asked again on thrusday and she said she didnt know if they would get any but could tell me which day the truck comes in. So not a happy shopper now with Coles.
approach by alannah and madeline foundation
Hi, I was shopping in Coles Dee why at 5:15pm today and in the biscuits isle when I was approached by a representative to the above foundation to buy a raffle ticket. She had a Coles visitor tag on her clothing and when she approached I thought she was a rep of Coles when she started to talk to me. After talking to me I realised she was selling raffle tickets to a foundation. I though she was representing Coles. I did not appreciate being approached in this manner while shopping within one of your isles and felt pressured to buy a $30 ticket.
I walked through 2 charities to get to Coles Dee why and don't think this should happen while I'm am purchasing food in your shop. I'm very upset.
click and collect
I am a regular click and collect customer, travelling 7 - 10 kms to collect depending on the store I choose on the day. When Logan Central advertised in store that they were doing click and collect I was so impressed I would only have to travel less than 1 km to my local store to collect my online shopping. However when I placed my order and went to submit it came back I was unable to purchase basic items yoghurt, tunas, bread, ham, chicken, mince etc my trolley had been halved with what I actually wanted to buy. It was unusual for this to happen, I phoned the store in question and spoke to 2 men who advised to call IT for click and collect, really I am the customer why should I have to log the issue ? I did phone online orders and it is a location issue unable to help me, apart from collect it from a different store which I did. My extended issue with this feedback is I asked Logan Central if I could bring my receipt to the store and collect the minis as I had tried to order it with them in the first place I was told no, I proceeded to explain my situation was different as I was unable to order from the store. I asked for the store manager and waited 8 mins for him and no answer. I will not set foot in Coles Logan Central again, my family shop of $200 per week plus the bits and pieces I may pick up after school will now be spent elsewhere.
coles minis
I just shopped and spent $180 to be then told they ran out of the Coles mini's, I would not have shopped at that store as it's not my usual store I shop at. And was told maybe you can get then from another store.
Well I rang my local Coles and they said sorry even though we have the Coles minis we can't give them to you as you shopped at another store!
That's totally unfair as the promotion is still running, I feel like taking my whole shopping back for a refund
quality of meat purchased
I bought a Beef Family Roast from Coles at West Ryde towards the end of August for $23.74. When preparing the roast for cooking I started to remove excess fat from the meat. The roast when bought weighed 1.69 kg after removing the fat the meat weighed 1.1 kg. I am extremely disappointed at the amount of fat this roast contained which was a third of the roast. The roast was rolled and held together with string hiding the majority of fat within. If I wanted to buy a poor cut of meat I would have. Photos of the roast showing the weight of the fat and meat and plastic Coles wrapper are attached.

I would like to express my embarrassment that I was made to feel on Thursday afternoon at Coles Warners Bay. I went in to purchase a few items on my way home after work and went through the self assisted checkouts, I did not have my own bag as it was an unplanned visit. I had to ask for a 15cent bag as there do not have any available at the checkout. The assistant give me a bag and stated make sure you scan the bag. I did scan the bag as it come up on the scan add to cart. Unfortunately something must have happened as it did not go onto my bill. This assistant come over stated did you scan that bag, when I replied yes she tap the scan and stated I did not. When I advised her that I thought I did as scan stated added to cart she then went on to grabbing my receipt and stating No You Did Not pay. I apologised and she stated that I should have paid for the bag. I told her I thought I had she then went on to inform me that if I don't pay for it then they have to pay for it. She was not very professional and did this very noticeable as the gentlemen next to me made a joke that I was trying to pinch a 15cent bag.
I have also been a loyal Coles shopper but have recently changed over to Woolworths as my daughter now works for them. I must say that Woolworths customer service is much nicer. I will also like to advised that not many of the staff at Warners Bay Coles are nice or happy to help but this lady needs to learn that it was an accident and how to handle such situation professionally. I gave her 15cents in cash to pay for the bag as I never intended not to pay and to be accused of trying to steal this was very embarrassing and I will not be returning to Coles Warners Bay any time in the future. I think this staff member should be reminded of her Customer Service and I think bags should be easily accessible instead of the Coles member holding on to them.

coles mini promotion
This promotion cause so many problems to thousands of customers
First of all not enough folders were available major mistake.
Second coles stuff haven't handed minis to all customers wonder why?
Coles is so huge company with so many loyal customers that have been
treated unfairly can't believe it.
Wake up coles it's not late to make your customers happy by handing out
or make mini folders available .
Many thanks
Regards xakousti
Ps (wonder if anyone got the red hand mini )
little shop folder
I've been waiting patiently for some more little shop coles folders to be in store for sale since the beginning of the little shop promotion. There are still none that have come out into any of the stores that I have been to in Townsville. I'm very disappointed because I have 3 sets and my children want to finish the collection off with the folders.
Why are there not more coming up for sale? We should be able to buy them online or go on a waiting list of some sort if Coles are too worried of over supply.
I'd be happy to pay and wait for it to come in the mail.
Please notify me of folders coming into Townsville Coles stores and have 3 folders put on hold for me.
Thank you.
customer service in (4825 - mount isa branch)
The date of the incident was the 5th of September 2018, I had entered the store to request for a new receipt and was faced with some of the most unhelpful and disrespectful customer services. I have to explain in this instance, I had purchased a Telstra prepaid voucher for $30 and the pin number wasn't working. I had entered the store with no intention of money return or a refund, simply just a new receipt of the previous transaction. When I had first received my receipt the employee who served me seemed inexperienced and young, despite this she presented to me two receipts, which was odd to me but I proceeded to hand the receipt to my mum and let her hold it until I got home. When I tested the pin number it was no valid or legible. Thus, my mother took the receipt and stapled them together to present to the coles manager I was going to see the next day. Once I had brought my inquiry to the counter, the lady had notified me that the receipt stapled to the voucher and was not a coles receipt. In this instance, I realized my mother whose first language is not English had mixed the second receipt with another one in her purse. In spite of this, the voucher had still been from coles and had the date of purchase, transaction number and store number on the legible receipt. I had presented this to the cashier who was a middle-aged lad and she proceeded to ignore my request and belittle the credibility of the voucher. I had insisted that I only wanted a new receipt with the same transaction number, which should be a reasonable request as I had no intention of requesting a refund. She proceeded to collect the manager who had taken my receipt, ignored me and my father. He did not give me the opportunity to explain or make a request and this was one of the most hurtful and disrespectful experiences I've had with any company.
checkout operator
Was just in the Kurri Kurri store where I was served by Lauren and she was very rude. She needs a lesson on how to speak to customers and treat them with respect. Did not appreciate being spoken to like that at all. Had really put me off going back there. Think she needs more training on how to treat customers with a bit of common descency and respect.
customer service
The staff, particularly the managers at Coles North Richmond are so rude! You ask a question and the way that they answer you is appalling.
I asked where have the baskets gone this morning because they were not where you walk in, so I had to start searching for them at registers.
I saw the lady and asked where are the baskets and she says over there 👉. I said why aren't they at the section where you walk into the shop because I shouldn't have to go searching for baskets. I should be able to grab one and walk straight in.
So she walks off and in the rudest, nastiest tone I've ever been spoken to in a store she said... well too many of them disappear so we've moved them. Get used to it!
Now the entry to the Coles building is not very close to where you walk into the shop part so they should still be there. We shouldn't have to search for baskets because it's annoying and inconvenient.
Another time I did a huge shop because I had a triple flybuys voucher. That's the only reason why I chose to do such a big shop. I told the cashier that I had it at the beginning and when she told me to pay for it.
She said that she has to scan it after I pay for it. I said shouldn't you do it before I pay for it? She said no. So I paid for it. It was about $250. Then she goes to scan the voucher and it wouldn't work because the silly should have done it before I paid.
I asked her to get a manager to fix it. They refused to refund me and do the whole transaction again so I could get my points even though I gave the cashier adequate notice that I had the voucher and that I said that it should be scanned before I pay not after.
The manager gets stroppy with me. I explained that the only reason why I did this big shop was for the triple points. She took my receipt from me and said that I should come back the next day and she'll have an answer.
So I came back the next day. No one had my receipt and when I explained what had happened the manager that was on that day told it was bad luck and I never got my points.
When you ask any questions in this store the majority of staff are so rude. I started to shop at Aldi in the next building because of the revolting staff at north Richmond Coles. I only ducked in to get a few things today and the rudeness of that lady actually infuriated me.
It is a Coles North Richmond NSW problem because the staff Coles at Windsor and Richmond are lovely and they're happy to help.
In my opinion you need to get rid of all the rude, nasty and obnoxious staff at North Richmond (which would be most of them) and replace them with people who understand what customer service is. Today was the last straw and I will not be shopping at Coles North Richmond again.
smoked bacon
Tuesday 4th September
I went to the Customer Service desk to return 5 per 750gr Smoked Bacon perfectly sealed, chilled and I had the receipt, the Customer Service Representative politely told me she needed to speak with the Manager on Duty as there was a change of internal policy in relation to cold items. She came back after a few minutes with a negative answer even after getting a positive answer the day before when I asked to another staff member if I could return the items. Now, as I go everyday to this branch and spend in average $800 a week and due the relationships I have established, I was expecting a more pleasant interaction and the opportunity to share my thoughts in relation to the product. To give you some background, the primo smoked bacon goes by the wait, so if you need to have a specific number of slice you need to guess (reason why I needed to return). I opened 1 packet with 20 slices and I have opened a 2nd packet with 29 slices however both were 750gr. How do I suppose to know how many packet I need to buy if I need a specific amount ?
I would like to bring this to the next level as I was not able to solve anything in store. I am happy to take my money to woolworths if this is not resolved. I look forward to hear from someone soon.

little shoppers folders
Good Morning
my sister and I have been calling pretty much every coles store to purchase the folders and they are sold out? this is ridiculous when people are selling the folders on ebay and gumtree for 3 times more of its original price,
Coles should be ashamed of itself, pure corporate greed, you force consumers to spend over $30 to get the little shopper items and yet you cant provide unlimited folders or comp folders for customers who have been shopping at coles for many years. Disgusting, its no wonder why people are shopping at aldis and woolworths.
Tass
There are so many disappointed children & Coles would know they hadn't provided enough folders. Quick to take our money while we try to collect the mini's & the most important item is unavailable...Shame Coles shame
I Agree people selling folders on ebay should be ashamed of themselves - profiteering from a promotion for little kids!
service
Hi.. i've just bought from coles broadway. There's staff name "Vita". I never saw how bad the cust service! we would like to pay by cash and normally the comp will have the sticker "card only". But we didn't see and also in a hurry. And we just scan because the comp they didn't put sticker or any. I never saw there is staff who dare to use finger in front of my face and blame that it was my fault. And i was say like "how could i know if i didn't see the sticker?" Because the comp really don't have the sticker. after that she was said like" where is your eye"?... next time you use your eyes open it big and saw the comp(she is act like she was teaching me to use something for first time). I really not happy after that! this is the last time i would never recommend to my friend or parents to shop in broadway again! So upset and dissapointed! She is old and i think she is know what's the manner!

coles mini collectables
I like to complain about Chipping Norton Coles because today I Shop over $100 and when I got to the checkout, they say our store ran out and the promotion finished yesterday. According to the tv and social media it's extending till 11th September. It's unfair they hang their bunting and posters everywhere in the store making customer think it's still on and we spend big for the stupid thing and they don't honour it. If I knew that it's out of not available IU go back to Woolies. You need to compensate for this injustice and breach of the Promotion! Not happy Coles!
