price of diesel fuel
Dear Sir/Madam I am a regular shopper at Coles Supermarkets, also a regular user of Shell Diesel, The incentive of 4 cents a litre discount from the shopper docket is eroded when Woolworth's offer Diesel five cents cheaper than Coles discount price For example today 11th January 2016 Coles Express on the corner of Dorset Road and Canterbury Road in the outer Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, prices were as follows, Coles discounted price for Diesel $1.99 litre Woolworth's 200 meters away discounted price for Diesel 1.49 litre I find it difficult to justify shopping for my fuel at Coles Express when Woolworth's are so close selling the same product 5 cents a litre cheaper Yours sincerely Graham Mackay email address grahamjon.[protected]@bigpond.com
parcel pick up
Coles Browns Plains, 11-01-16 I did my shopping through parcel pick up and when it came to collecting my shopping I was waiting outside for at least ten minutes. I had to end up going inside and asking if someone was going to come out and deliver my shopping and the customer service assistant said he wasn't able to leave the desk area and everyone else was in a managers meeting. He handled it nicely but the fact that no one on the shop floor could assist in a service that use provide was unacceptable.
pikelets
Purchased a pack of pikeletes for $3 at Australia Fair Southport, only to find they were not cooked properly and doughy, I took them back with receipt for a refund and was refused in a rude manner because they were not coles brand I asked for the manager who then gave me a completely different excuse now its because several days have passed since purchasing what rubbish over a pack of pikelets, extremely petty and pathetic im disgusted with coles the pikelet company refunded me with a woolworths voucher because they agree coles is pathetic
ox heart
I have been buying this product for over ten years to feed my dogs. We have a new manager who thinks they don't sell. Over the years it has been a hassle to get there early enough to beat other customers. The previous manager Simon he had the store running excellent. He even stocked selves. But the new manager lets the selves run bear. The meat department is usually always low. But staff Jeff from the meat department try to help with orders but the manager seems to stop special orders. My husband has spoken to Ricky regional manager he said the problem would be solved. I two dogs and 13 puppies and have to go to other Coles stores in the area Marsden to fix my problem. I and many other customers would be extremely grateful if you could fix our problem.
inferior quality of pre-packaged diced lamb
I recently purchased a 500g pack of of pre- diced lamb at the Albany Dog Rock store in WA. When I went to use it I found that it had been hacked rather than diced and about 40% was fat and sinew (see photos) I had to use extra lamb purchased from my local butcher to bulk out the amount I needed.
paul's farmers gold milk
About the last 6 times I have tried to buy milk from this supermarket I have found the product out of stock and this has always occurred before close of business (usually early afternoon). I have brought this to their attention and expressed that I (a cyclist) rely on making one stop at a supermarket for basic items like milk, however on my last visit 05/01/16 I went in to yet again experience the same problem. They are great at providing reasons why the milk is not in stock, however they seem completely incapable of simply providing this basic staple for purchase.
control over the parking exit arrangements
My family is a long time customer of the Coles Supermarket in Chatswood and we are content with the store operations. However we are increasingly frustrated by the poor management of the Chatswood Chase Parking facilities by the property manager of that complex. Delays in leaving the Centre have become the norm and are a disincentive to return to the Centre. Today, Wednesday 6 January, 2016 at 4.15 pm at least 200 cars were held up for over 15 minutes on the bottom parking floor trying to exit the site and the same number were held up on the next floor up which is the exit to Victoria Avenue, Chatswood. I spoke to a member of the Centre's management located in the offices overlooking the Victoria Avenue exits but he was totally disinterested. At about 4.45 pm the garage staff lifted the boom gates but continued to collect the parking tickets from exiting cars thus still slowing the exit process rather than just waving the cars through. Garage management seem to be incapable of thinking logically and showing initiative in addressing such problems. Such parking problems are clearly a disincentive for customers to return to Chatswood Chase. I suggest as a major tenant of the Centre it is in your interests to address these issues.
employee 303
I am complaining about an employee called Katrina on the service desk yesterday 2 -1-2016. I had 4 bottles of coke among other items on the belt, she moved the belt about 2cm and my coke fell with one bottle landing on the floor. The man behind me picked it up for me .She said to me "Next time lay them down and they won't fall off." No apology and with a smirk .She didn't even replace it when I said it will be flat after being shaken up like that. I have no complaints about other staff, they are alway courteous and helpful when I have asked them for any products.. This person is so arrogant .
hope island gold coast
My complaint is in reference to 25/12 GC Bulletin advertising re a 2 for $7 purchase of punits of Raspberries and Blueberries, only to be advised by a staff member that they did not receive the shipment of RASPBERRIES, yet still offered a 2 for $7.00 for Blueberries. No deal at all, and no apologies either written or spoken. False advertising at its utmost.
online
I have been ordering online with Coles for over 6 weeks without any issues and loved the system. I reserved my order time for this week 2 weeks ago and modified my order and received a comfirmation email . Next morning I checked my email and there was a cancellation email cancelling my order. Being 2 days from Christmas and me being heavily pregnant this is not ideal. I contacted Coles who was not helpful at all. This is not my first experience with Coles online and I had previously used the service quite extensively but there have always being technical issues. I will not be using it again as the system is not reliable.
staff, management and attitudes
I purchased groceries on Coles Online the other day; there was a computer glitch and consequently my order had doubled up when I attempted modifying my order. I was advised I could return any unwanted goods with the driver or alternatively in store. I did return several items with the driver but with over 100 in my grocery basket and the driver placing my groceries over my garage floor it was somewhat difficult going through the entire shop and arranging the return. Once the driver had left I continued going through my shop and sorted out the goods to be returned; later in the morning I rang Coles Online to advise the returned goods to the driver as well as the other goods which I would need to return to a store. I was advised that there wouldn't be a problem...when I arrived at the Watton Street Werribee store (Store nr 7777) I was greeted by a young lady with serious attitude whom advised me that I was to go to the Werribee Plaza Store to return the goods, I asked to speak with the store manager; she then went on to tell me off about my "attitude" then she had her night and shining armour come to rescue...he pretended to be the store manager when in actual fact he was simply a Dairy Team member. I was threatened that he would ring the police (for what reason I still don't know) then he called for assistance from a gentleman who usually is stocking shelves and finally another guy comes out who is the Dry Goods Manager who doesn't even know store policy with the return of goods. I was told by him that I needed to go to the Werribee Plaza Coles Store; I made it very clear that I would not be doing any such thing and that if there were any problems he should ring the Coles Online Team and query the returns policy if he wasn't familiar with it. He continues that he's doesn't know whether or not he can return the goods as his store may not stock them...he goes off to check the goods then returns to tell me that the items can be returned but I would be out of pocket as I can only be refunded the "current shelf price" not what i had actually paid for and what was not on my receipt.I was threatened buy the acting store manager (the dairy team member) not the Dry Goods Manager who was actually filling in for the Store Manager whom was out at the time of my visit to the store. I was threatened to have my "head kicked in" and to have it "taken outside" all whilst the real acting store manager stood there lifeless/speechless like a stuffed mullet. In the end the goods were returned and I was given a Gift Voucher less the difference between what I had actually paid and the shelf price. I was shocked and mortified by the conduct of the staff at the Watton Street store and later with what I experienced when I went to complain to the Coles Online Team; the attitude of the staff and management stinks. I have requested contact by John Durkan (Coles Managing Director) but he can not be contacted and refuses to deal with on the ground issues. I am disgusted with Coles and it staff and management!
unethical behaviour
I had an accident on 7/9/15 by a person who hit me from back. I have been chasing Coles motor vehicle team to assist me in repairing my car but to date I have still not yet heard from anything. When I make calls to Coles they just put me to one department to another and all day, it seems like spending more time on the phone then actually doing some work.I still have not yet heard from Coles motor vehicle team.I think that Coles are providing a very poor customer service, where staff doesn't understand what I am saying, secondly have to repeat the samething over and over again. It is also that Coles would not call their customer relating the outcome of the result. The time when the insurance is due, that's when they become nice but they are not a trustworthy insurance company.
coles jumbo unsalted cashews
It is the second time I've punched this product only to remember why I shouldn't have, 50% of the product is made up of cashew pieces, incredible kilogram price of $27.50 for a second rate product, twice stung and never again, two purcheses = $11.00 for a very poor product, no quality control or care taken, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves.!
cake store
Hi, I brought a chocolate lamington sponge roll from Coles (Centro) Warrnambool which it was purchased off the shelf. Once I got home, I sliced it up for morning tea which it was totally stale and the chocolate coating was falling in the pieces being so dry. The taste of the chocolate flavour seemed like the sugar has cystalised. Unfortunately it was the worse cake ever for it being "so called fresh" and I'm very disappointed on this purchase. If you decide to contact me, my name is Joey [protected]. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. Regards Joey
I am complaining about staff
I always go to keysborough shopping mall coles super market. But this time Monday evening 7th December 2015, Staff at customer desk didn't give us service. Usually between service counter and check out I have always seen your staff serve one by one. But this time staff saw we were standing and waiting to be serve but that girl kept taking customer from check out, and she saw we were waiting but she ignored us.thats not enoug she gave wrong inform about products and last but not least when we call manager Sam for complain he said I m busy go and complain on line and then he whispered (if they listens to you.) So that means center management is teaching them how to behave with customers. I need an explanation and appology. Rishi [protected]
air conditioning
I recently went to my local Coles on a 33 degree day and the store was stifling! When I questioned one of the staff ( who looked like she was about to pass out), I was told the manager had decided to go 'green' and there would be no cooling or heating for 6 months. ? In a country as extreme as Australia, that is absolutely ridiculous! I pity the staff that work under such a manager. She obviously feels no duty of care for them, let alone the all important customer. From now on I will drive the extra to Woolworth's, where I can shop in comfort.
customer service
On Saturday the 28/11/2015 i did my food shopping at coles Horsham Victoria I have never been served by such a rude and horrible person in my life! LOU was the person who served me she yelled at my 4 year old boy who played with the chain as I unloaded my $400 groceries on to the conveyor belt he wasn't breaking it it was just touching it it wasn't unhooked and he is 4! LOU Yelled at my boy until he cried LOU was extremely rude as I paid and I will never go to her checkout or the service desk when she is there I am disgusted that someone so rude can work at a place that deals with people and children!
lee - rude staff
Hi I had a very bad experience today First the rude staff who treat you like a piece of s...and secondly whenever u go there in the morning to buy bread you can see all the empty shelves and you can't ask the staff as they are so rude. Today when i went to the coles market and this person LEE was going to serve me and as soon as I put my stuff there he was not happy at all to serve me..looked like he does not want to serve me. No hi no hello nothing at all he had an angry face..and the worst happen when i was about to pay him he spoke to me very rudely..he was staring at me with big eyes and made me feel threatened as i did a big crime or something. I don't think as customer we deserve to have this kind of cheap service. All the staff members are not all but most of them are usually angry and don't like to say hi to customers. But this was the worst case today when that rude person LEE spoke so rudely to me. How can you employ these people who have no sense no manners to talk to customers. I don't feel like going back and shop in this store where this person LEE humiliated you just because u forgot your card has paypass or not and give you a big lecture and laugh at you and threaten u by showing big eyes as i was a criminal or something. This happen to me a few times before as well. I don't know if u guys take our complaints seriously or not But u really need to think about it. I don't like to complain about someone but today i m doing it just because it really hurt me and humiliate me. I request you to talk to that person LEE and teach him some manners I hope to get some help from this complaint board.
managers
The store manager, worker Vanessa(don't know last name) harressing shoppers and wrongly accusing people on grounds of suspicion for stealing without proof, sending police to peoples homes to tell them, they don't want u in their supermarket again on suspicion, I will be accused of such crap until she has proof, I am not currently the person she has done it to, she needs sacking and deported back to where it came from, I'm utterly disgusted I'm being accused of stealing, because she thinks I am
favourite items and brands no longer available at local coles supermarket
So many of the items that I have purchased weekly for years have disappeared permanently from the shelves of my local Coles supermarket in Daylesford that I now have to travel to shop at Woolies on my trips to Melbourne (115 kms away) or Ballarat (50 kms away). An sample of the items in question are : Jalna Biodynamic Organic Yoghurt, Safe Toilet Paper, Frozen Spinach not from China (do you know what some Chinese fertilise their vegie crops with?), A2 Long Life Milk to name a few. When queried, all the staff have an identical reply. "Oh, that's because nobody was buying that item." This immediately relegates me to the ranks of the nobodies. " Well, this nobody has been buying them for years and will continue to buy them.. elsewhere until Coles stops manipulating my choices as a consumer.
