I applied for an apartment. June 3rd, was told I needed a determination by June 7th for the unit. I have provided multiple documents, notorized documents, income and benefit documents and each time they requested more items. I asked them to process the application as is THREE times, twice in writing and once verbally, as I had no more information. it is July 21st and I have yet to get a decision. I have two children, work from home and my lease was up on June 28th at my old place. I have had to find other living arrangements at this point. I have heard about application scams in Florida and I believe this is what they’re doing as many people I’ve talked to have also ran into this problem with this company. They promise units to multiple people and then draw out the application process. If you cancel your application they keep your $300. And at this point my application is still open.
