June 26,2024, I visited Conn's home plus with the intent to build my credit. I asked about financing being disabled with no credit. the salesperson asked if I knew my social security and gave me a link to apply salesperson came back said I was approved. I said ok I'll come back with my daughter to choose a tv. salesperson urged me to make the purchase immediately, citing no interest fees for a year if I paid off the balance. I made the purchase using store credit. later & talking to my daughter I realized I was rushed into buying items I didn't want or need. Next day June 27, 2024, I went back to Conn's Home Plus and cancelled the entire order. On July 04,2024, I received a call from Conn's warehouse about a scheduled delivery for July 05,2024, involving 3 different invoices. I informed the lady that it was only one invoice and that it had been cancelled by me at the store. She said I need to go into the store to resolved the issue its showing a cancelled order than a reorder for the same merchandise. My daughter & I went to the store to resolve the issue. Salesperson confirmed the order was cancelled said the system needed time to catch up. While at the store the salesperson told us about a going out of business sale and I still had my store approved credit I made a new purchase
Claimed loss: My financial state is lost this was an option to gain credit instead it has ruined my credit & the financial gain I was working towards. Besides my reputation as being in good standing all ruin do to fraud or human error
Desired outcome: Remove the closed account from my credit report & all derogatory remarks I have tried to resolve this multiple times
