Courts Singapore Delivery

I made an online purchase of an iPhone on the 5th Aug as mine was about to die. Date of delivery was 8th Aug. I received an email to say that courts will contavt me in 2 to 4 days.

To cut the long story short, on the 10th i still have not received anything email nor updates despite having made several chat queries. On the 11th I made another request for update and finally an email.came to.say there was no stock. I've got to wait fir another 2 to 4 weeks. I was totally upset and horrified as my phone would have died then.

I hope courts will have the courtesy to solve this issue soonest as I think it's unreliable of them to sell something which they have no stock. Lesson learnt fir me.

Was a fan of courts until now

Never again

Desired outcome: Have my iPhone Asap

On the 5th of August I ordered and paid for an iPhone online to be delivered at a specific day and time range. A confirmation was emailed to.say that the delivery date was tentative only and the team will email me within 2 to 4 days to confirm deluvery. That's fine.

On the 8th of August I contacted via chat that I've not gotten an email. They asked me to wait as delivery team is still sorting out. Standard template. I called customer service who said that I will get a confirmation on the 10th or 11th for sure as that's their standard protocol.

On the 11th late after still no email. By then I was getting nervous. I've paid a big amount via credit card and no one can give me a proper confirmation. I chatted with customer service again, pushing for a reply. Soon enough an email came and to my horror , I was told the phone was out of stock and i had to wait 2 ro 4 weeks!

I'm utterly Disappointed and worried now if I'm ever going to get my phone. By the 4th week my old phone would have died..

Please assure me courts!

Courts Singapore Aircon

Bought a 3unit aircon from Courts. Ever since we got the aircon installed, numerous issues had occurred. Few weeks after the aircon was installed, there is water leakage. Trigger the technician down to resolve the issue. Issue was resolved by just stuffing some cloth at the area of leakage. Technician claimed that was the only way to resolve the water leakage issue. Subsequently, aircon become not cold, due to insufficient gas. After gas refilled, a week later, aircon not cold again. Was told that it was due to gas leaked. Called Courts, was told that it was covered under warranty since I bought the extended warranty. Customer service still loudly claim that of course it will be included under warranty, if it wasnt every customer will be unhappy. Agreed with her and arrange a appointment for the technician to perform the pressure test. But subsequently was told that part of the test and checking will be charge and not included in the warranty. As we knew that pressure test required at least 2 appointment slot, asked the customer service should we arrange 2 appointment slot instead of 1, since pressure test normally and definitely will required 2 visits. Customer service told that it will only required 1 for the technician to come over to perform the check first. Fine! Applied absence from work, just to be home waiting for the technician to come and perform the check. The moment the technician arrived, he read the memo and told us nothing can be done today. We questioned him on the purpose coming down when no checking or testing can be performed. He claimed the purpose of coming down that day was only to talk to us and informed us to arrange a new appointment slot with customer service. On that day, the technician never even touch my aircon and compressor. Super angry how courts serve their customer! Due to the problematic aircon that we bought few years back from courts, we always have to find time out from our busy schedule to let the technician come over to perform the checking and Courts customer service had greatly change from bad to worse. We got to find time out from our busy schedule to wait for the technician to come over to just talk to us. Seriously I have no ideas which era does courts lived in, communication cant be done over the phone, they got to ask the technician to physically come over to our house to talk to us. Was super angry with how courts handle after sales services. Due to our urgent schedule, we immediately called courts hotline 6285 0308 to arrange the next slot for the technician to perform the pressure test. Was told by the Customer service staff that Wendy (the person handling repair) was engage at the moment and asked to leave our contact so that she can called us back. Few hours later, no called was returned from Wendy. Called courts again, was then told that Wendy was out of office. We requested another repair staff to spoke to us, they then transfer my call to them. Waited for close to 15mins, call was picked up and hanged up. Called courts again, the same things happened, call being transferred, picked up, hanged up. This had been routed for 5 times! This service staff still loudly claimed that they cant be knocking onto the person room and asked them to pick up the call right. Was wondering why not! Pissed off by how Courts serve their customer. We are just being fooled around by this group of people handling 6285 0308 number. They seems to be a groups of teenagers playing and fooling customer around. Pissed off and called 6285 1173 was informed us that the whole of Courts only hired 2 staff to handle repair, Wendy was the manager which we was told that she will return us a call but no call was return and she happily went off for her leave leaving customer waiting for her reply. Another staff was down with covid. Wonder why such a big company only afford to hire 2 staffs to handle repair. Since Wendy couldnt assist us with what we requested, she informed us that she will feedback to her higher management about this. We then requested her to get her higher management to contact us. No call was returned from anyone from Courts again! Call Courts, the same things happened again, was told that no one is available to ans the call ask to leave our contact so that they can call us back. Same things goes round and round for days. We are super freaking pissed off by how courts served their customer! WE WANT COURTS TO GIVE A VALID REPLY! IS THIS HOW COURTS SERVE THEIR CUSTOMERS? IS THIS HOW COURTS CUSTOMER SERVICES FOOL THEIR CUSTOMERS? Sincerely urge everyone to think twice before purchase!

Desired outcome: Courts to resolve the aircon issue without any charges!

Courts Singapore Installation and delivery

INVOICE NO. [protected]

I have purchased 1 x LG 43UP7550PTC. ATC 43 IN 4K ULTRA HD SMART LED TV S$595.00

1 x GURU FIXED WALL MOUNT SERVICES FOR 40 INCH - 65 INCH TV S$70.00

Delivery and installation was set on 20/07/2022. Driver by the name of MUHAIMIN and his partner arrived with only TV but not the mount. He told my wife he has no mount in his car which was recorded in my cctv and voice recorder on my. My wife called Norin from customer care to assist with the situation as the mount is missing on 20/07/2022. Norin said is was unscheduled she will escalate it and call us back but did not. On 21/07/2022 upon calling Norin back she said the logistic driver by the name of MUHAIMIN filed a false report stating we have decided did not want the mount anymore and now the only thing she can do is schedule another mounting session for me on 23/07/2022. My wife and I have wasted our time taking 2 days leave of absence from work because MUHAIMIN lied and filed a false report. Please advice

Desired outcome: I would like to presue this matter against logistic delivery personal MUHAIMIN and his partner to the maximum extend as he has caused my family and I stress and time wasted from taking 2 days leave from work for his lies and fake report.

Courts Singapore After sales service

Dining table delivered on 7th July. Scheduled for a 7-9pm delivery, no idea why they came down at 5-6pm. Called for people to fix the extension for dining table as it was not aligned that night itself. Concurrently, realize that the dining marble table top has defects, with scratches that appear dim, which it should be smooth and reflective. Person came and check on and 13th July. Scheduled for 2-3pm time slot, again no idea why they come down at ~1130am. Person say would feedback to (whoever is responsible). 2 days later, recieved a miss call from courts customer service number. I have to call back myself and ask to know that they scheduled for people to come down on 20th July 2022, 11am - 3pm. So specially asked my mum to eat at home in case they come at lunch time. In the end, recieve a miss call from an anonymous person personal number at 3.56pm for god knows what reason and no answer from them when I call at 4pm sharp already. Went back home after work and realize that nobody from courts came down to do the necessary actions. So called courts customer service number again to ask if there were new updates, and told them that nobody from courts came down, customer service associate say would message service about this matter. Next morning, still no updates from courts side. Called customer service and ask again regarding this matter. Customer service say need to email logistics about this matter still, and cannot give me a contact number to settle this issue.

Whoever who called needs to at least leave a message if there's a miss call so I know who called and for what reason. Or at least have a representative for me to contact and follow up on the matter and not always have to call the customer service whereby they do not know anything other than things recorded in the system. Customers like also need to work and cannot pick up our phone every single time you call. And after that leaving us no one else to contact other than customer service, which is very Inefficient

Courts Singapore Air conditioner

My complaint relates to Tax Invoice number [protected]. Am including this for Courts to identify the case easily, if they still need to identify the case after many emails and calls

I feel cheated. I had bought a Samsung Airconditioner under extended warranty in 2018 end. The AC worked well till November 2021 and then started malfunctioning. I complained in November 2021 and Courts sent a technician who stated that it was my fault and I needed to get it chemically cleaned. I paid $ 400 and the AC serviced from Courts itself.

In May'22, the AC again started malfunctioning with the same issue. I called Courts and they finally sent a technician on 6th June, a month after I had called. The technician found an error with a malfunctioning fan motor with a code E458.

Obviously this was under warranty and Courts needed to replace it at their cost. Maybe because of that or something else, they went missing. In all subsequent calls, I was told that there is no service issue logged though their technician had signed a service log mentioning this error

Finally on July 7th, a month after the technician had visited me and promised a quick resolution, I looked for their email to send a complaint as I thought it is better to put in writing. Initial responses were prompt and yes we will repair it. After some time the email responses have also stopped.

It has been 3 months without an AC in this heat. I am more upset with Courts then with the sweat. If you cant service the customers, then stop selling. And please be prompt in service requests.

I am enclosing me email history (without the names) just in case Courts is still unable to find the service request

Subject: Complaint

Dear Sirs:

I want to complain about the terrible service provided by Courts

1. I purchase two system 2 AC units in December 2018 with 1+5 warranty. The invoice number is [protected]

2. Since December last year, one of the units has been giving me trouble. It shuts down itself

a. The technician from Courts that came in December put the blame on me and said that the unit required Chemical wash

b. The Chemical was done by Courts technicians at the cost of $ 400+

3. Again, the system started misbehaving in May’2022 with the same error

4. I called Courts in early May and was told that the technician could only visit the place in June.

a. The technician checked the unit on 6th June, 2022 and found that there was an error code E458 that meant that a fan motor had to be changed

b. He gave me a copy of the error log and left stating that the HQ will arrange for a replacement soon as the unit was still under warranty

Even after a month, no action has been taken by Courts. Yesterday, I was told by your customer service, that there was no record of my logged in complaint. Someone in your office may have decided that Courts does not want to honor its commitment and save money instead

I have been living without a functioning air conditioner in this extreme heat for the last 2 months. .

Please call me and fix it. My number is XXX

Courts Singapore Air conditioner, honoring the warranty

Hi

For the last 3 months, my air-conditioner bought under extended warranty from courts is not working. The tax invoice number is [protected]

For the last 3 months, in this peak heat, my job has largely been to chase Courts. After much chasing, a technician was finally sent to my house on 6th June to rectify the problem.

The technician found an error code E458 in Samsung Airconditoner which related to a faulty fan motor. The same problem had earlier occurred in December of last year when Courts got me to spend $400 towards chemical cleaning.

Since June 6th, when I was told that the service team would be contacting me, I have been following up with courts to get the motor replaced. It is peak summer and the room can be really unbearable at times.

Finally on 7th July, I wrote to Courts on the email address I found in a previous complaint on this website. I was promised that Courts will send someone urgently to fix the issue. Since then, I have again been following up and now Courts has decided to even ignore my emails

My question to Courts is that why do you sell products when you cant service them. Or is it that replacement under warranty is money to be spent and you would rather that customer gets frustrated and you don't spend money.

After all it is the customer that needs to be punished for trusting Courts.

Here are the emails sent to courts below. Before that, I have made a significant number of calls

Courts Singapore Washing machine

I have made a purchase to donor for a family in need of a washing machine. The delivery time supposed to be On 20 June, 7pm to 9pm. But the deliveryman reached the house at 3pm and the owner has to rush home to receive it. She didn’t know that I have indicated for the deliveryman to install the new machine and discard the old one. As the old machine is still at home, she hasn’t ask the town council to discard as she was informed that it will only deliver at 7pm to 9pm. Hence didn’t install the new machine. The deliveryman claimed that he didn’t know the delivery time is 7pm to 9pm. How can that be possible when it is clearly stated in the receipt. The deliveryman should also inform her that they can install and discard the old machine instead of just leaving the new machine there and leave. She needs to use the washing machine ASAP.

Desired outcome: For Courts to send people down to do installation tonight and discard the old machine.

Courts Singapore Request for price match

Hi,

To my dismay, the TV I bought from Courts on 11 June 2022 is actually $224.70 cheaper if I buy from Sharp online (https://cocorolife.sg/) then, see attachment for evidence of lowest price.

Courts put big wordings "lowest price guarantee" in the advertisement banner. I did not see the wording "competitors" in the advertisement banner. Sharp online is a legitimate store and I believed in Courts then

I am very disappointed with Courts which has claimed they are the lowest price guarantee.

I have to hand carry the TV from COURTS at $959 but Sharp online offer free delivery of the same TV at $734.3.

$224.70 is a great difference! Please help to match price.

I am here by placing the same request again to Courts to take this grievance seriously, help retain our trust on Courts and refund the difference

Looking forward to the positive response. Thank you

Courts Singapore My 1st and & 2nd TV are not delivered at a agreed schedule

I was given Courts voucher and wanted to make use of it to purchase a TV.

My 1st TV purchased on 07/05/2022 and delivery scheduled 10/06/2022. Tax inv# [protected] at Courts Tampines Mall.

I called Courts on 09/06/2022 to confirm the delivery timing and was told the the TV was out of stock. The TV will be available end of June. There was no communication to that the TV is out of stock and if I did not initiate the call, I would have waited nothing to happen. I demanded a refund. Courts has agreed and asked me to visit the store. As I purchased the TV with Courts Voucher, they have refunded ''Voucher'' to me again.

Out of no choice, I have to use the voucher again. So I visited the Courts Megastore on 16/06/2022 and bought a TV again. I really want to just use the voucher to pay for the TV and do not want to buy anything from courts again. I double checked and confirmed the delivery schedule and the stock availability. The sales assistant assured that all good and delivery scheduled has been confirmed on 20/06/2022. Unfortunately, I hv gotten a call just now saying the delivery has to be rescheduled due to the TV has fallen down. I am not sure what kind of the reason is that. I requested for a confirmation that the TV will be delivered on Wed 22/06/2022.

I am extremely upset and disappointed by these 2 incidents. It was such a unpleasant experience and poor client experience. Courts failed to deliver what it has promised. I would warn others not to purchase from Courts. I have made full payment and did not expect such a poor service

Desired outcome: Please deliver the TV at agreed schedule. I would demand a full refund and not accept the voucher again

Courts Singapore Aircon

I bought the aircon from courts on the 27/03/22. It was a pleasant experience being served by the salesperson at Tampines Mall branch.

However, the good experience doesn’t last. After the installation on the 11/4/22, we realise the AC started to intermittently not cooling. We bought a 29000btu split unit which enables us to operate 3x9000 btu fcu or 1x18000btu unit and 1x9000 unit concurrently.

So we called for a servicing. Courts directed us to winfinity claiming that 1st year warranty is under them. They attended to our request on the 10/05/22. The technician then proceeded to pump the refrigerant to a correct level. This obviously signals a leak in the system. I asked if they can do a comprehensive check on the whole system however they decline saying that if the installer should do that (installer here refers to courts aircon servicing dept). I relented. Was told to monitor the aircon and they will refer to courts installer to come and check the system.

2 weeks passed no calls were received and the aircon starts to act up again. So I called up winfinity again. They claimed they have referred the case back to courts via email 2 weeks ago and gave me the specific contact person to look for.

I made the call on a Thursday, 26/05/22 to courts AC servicing dept. The personnel couldn’t gave me the exact schedule therefore promised to call me back the next day. Friday came and go, she never called me back. I waited till the next following week Monday, half day passed still no return call. So I decided to give them a call. After a good 20 mins on hold, the same person still couldn’t get me a schedule on when the installer can come down and conduct a comprehensive check. Instead I was told the installer promise to come anytime that week between 5-6pm. I was mad at this arrangement. It is not possible for me to be staying home for the next 4 days to wait on them. I have to work. I can’t magically appear at home righr after work just to accommodate to their ridiculous timing. She promised to give me a call back again before end of the day to confirm with the installer.

You guessed it right, she again did not return my call. So I called in again the next day. Still no confirmed dates were given. I even suggested weekend Sat if they cannot make it weekdays. She promised to confirm again before end of work day. Well, I was cheated one more time. She went radio silence on me.

As a paying customer I am baffled at the kind of trash courts customer service can deliver. I am not asking for the moon or stars, all i’m asking for is a date I can block off, stay at home and wait for them to come check my aircon.

At the point of writing this rant, we can only on 1 AC at a time and even that, the AC takes forever to cool and 20degrees feels like 25degrees.

I have decided not to pay the monthly installment until the AC is fixed!

Desired outcome: As a paying customer i demand 2 things for your [censored]ty service recovery:1. Waive off 1 x monthly installment2. Get the bloody AC fixed asap!

Hi Jason,

Thank you for reaching out.

As of yesterday, 02/6/22, your AC servicing department representative Ms Megan finally returned my call after going radio silence for 2 days.

She assured me that the installer will be coming down to my unit on Saturday, 04/06/22 to assess the AC unit.

Again, the journey thus far with courts have been unpleasant; with the AC not cooling and Courts atrocious service recovery. My next instalment payment is due by 11/06/22 and i feel i have been shortchanged by courts in terms of product quality and service.

🙁

Resolved

After much waiting the air con issue was resolved. Low gas due to leaking caused by loosed gas pipe connection. Though its external party fault but the service rendered is for courts. Courts should penalise them for the lapse in service.

Courts Singapore Service

Our family went to Courts at Ang Mo Kio branch on 3rd of May at 510pm to enquire about Air Con System 4. There was a staff attending to us. Our children were standing in front of the fans and looking at the fans. A few of your staff came to them, switched off the fans and switched off the power supply immediately right in their faces. They stared at the children fiercely. Customers should be allowed to look at the products before making a purchase, isn't it?

All of these happened right in front of their mother who was observing the scene. They even stared at their mother with an annoyed look.

We reflected the issue and made our complaint to the staff that was attending to me about the staff's rude service. He ignored our complaint and continued to sell us the Aircon system. We were furious and walked away.

This kind of service is unacceptable. Please investigate the matter and get back to us. Please send all your staff for training. We expect a response and an apology from your company.

Desired outcome: I appreciate a response and an apology

Courts Singapore Wrongful harrassment of outstanding credit

Courts has been sensing letters of outstanding amount and even visited my house on multiple times requesting payment. This even though I keep informing them that there is no such person living in my house over the years.

The last visit was last month where a guy came to my house in middle of night & assured me that he will update the company record. Yet I still received letters from Courts yesterday!

Please inform your credit control department to do due diligence!

Desired outcome: Leave my family alone

Courts Singapore Installation of air-conditioning units and piping

I am extremely disgusted with my air-con installation experience with Courts at Simei. I have chosen Courts for my air-con installation works as I needed to replace the old air-con piping, and I thought I could pay a lump sum to Courts while Courts settle all the negotiation issues with the ceiling works based on the quote of $320.

Unfortunately, after I have paid the full amount to Courts, the Courts salesman, Palani, basically left it to me and the sub-contractor by Courts to settle the outstanding ceiling and rectification works. Palani just acted as a middle man between the sub-contractor and I by conveying our responses.

My contract is with Courts, and not with the sub-contractors, so I had expected Courts to front any issues, and get the sub-contractors to rectify the ceiling and rectification works. When I had purchased the air con units from Courts, I expect that Courts would liaise with the contractors to do the necessary installation, and reinstate the holes and ceiling to a clean and pristine condition. Palani simply told me to complain to Courts as he did not want to argue with Comfort.

Background

Before 1 Apr 2022- Palani confirmed with me verbally that the ceiling would be fixed to a nice condition, and painting would be done.

1 Apr 2022 - Palani convinced me that the survey date would be arranged on 4 Apr 2022 and installation date could be 3 days later on 7 Apr 2022.

However, he told me on 2 Apr that the earliest survey date could only be on 12 Apr. As I had paid the deposit of $150 and continued to trust Courts to handle the process, I agreed to the 1 week delay.

Eventually the survey date was 11 Apr 2022 after I had chased for a reply from Palani.

11 Apr 2022 - Survey was carried out and it was highlighted that 4 holes were required to be opened in the ceiling for the piping works. At this point, nobody told me that I would need to upgrade my piping in order for the piping to be under warranty.

13 Apr 2022 - I had agreed with the $320 quote for the 4 holes but I thought -based on previous conversation with Palani before 1 Apr- that the ancillary works such as patching, painting of the ceiling, and reinstating the area near the air con units would be included. So I proceeded to make full payment to Courts.

14 Apr 2022 - Air-con technicians wearing Courts t-shirt said that 4 holes were not enough for them to proceed with the installation, and I had to pay for “more holes to be opened” (at least a total of 6 to 8 holes!). Otherwise, it was unlikely that the works could proceed! I find it to be ridiculous that I was asked to pay for “more holes to be opened” on the day of installation of the units!

They also informed that I would need to upgrade my piping (at a cost of $180) to ensure that the piping would be under warranty. This is totally out of the blue! This should have been flagged upfront in the survey as it would strongly influence my decision on whether I would want to cancel, or to proceed with the purchase of the air con units from Courts.

The air-con technicians had also asked me to directly pay them in cash for the extra holes! At that point, I had no choice but to agree with the upgrade, but I stood firm on not having more than 4 holes, and they eventually could do the job without increasing the number of holes. I find that the behaviour of the air-con technician is dubious, and felt like I was almost swindled by them! Courts should conduct checks on this sub-contractor, as they are certainly not giving a good impression on your customers!

The air-con technicians informed me that they could not patch, and paint over the holes as the job was not done by them, but by another company who would come on 18 Apr to do the rectification. Why is the installation and rectification works done on separate days? This is unacceptable to me. They informed me that I would be updated on the date and time for the rectification works after they have checked with their office. I did not hear from anybody until I called Palani, who said that he could not got in touch with the sub-contractor.

The sub-contractor eventually called me on the morning of 18 Apr, and informed that 18 Apr was postponed to 19 Apr as the worker in-charge was sick.

19 Apr 2022 - A guy came to patch the 4 holes, but refused to rectify the area surrounding the air-con units, and paint over the patches. When asked for the name of his employer, and/or his name, he had refused to provide the information. Is there something to hide?

We find that the whole process that took place lacks transparency, with hidden charges to the unsuspecting customer. This experience has definitely left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Customers like us are led on a wild goose chase; we have to monitor the timelines, and negotiate with the (dubious) external contractors by ourselves. We have chosen Courts to enjoy a hassle free process, but instead was put in a distressing position. Courts does not look after their reputation and do not value their customers.

Desired outcome: 1) Make good the four patches (refer to attached pictures)2) Clean and make good the areas surrounding the air-con units3) Customer service recovery

Courts Singapore Sp home sales assistant @ courts the heeran

On 15th April. 8.45 pm. I was level 3 courts @ the heeran. I was at one of the table/desk (under SP HOMES) sitting down on two chairs with my dad. The sales assistant refusing to reveal her name slammed the placard on the table.

Whole conversation begins like this

Her : do you guys want to purchase the table?

Me: no we were just looking around. Is it we can’t sit here?

Her : yes you can sit here. *adjust the placard on the table and slammed it infront of my face* (the Ramadan promotion placard)

Me : is it I can’t sit here?

Her : yes you can

Me : you could have told me nicely instead of slamming the placard in my face? Is it I can’t sit here What’s your name?

She then quickly walks away from me.

She is wearing a white uniform(green label - SP HOMES). Shoulder length wavy/ curly dyed slightly golden-ish hair

Wish your team can investigate and get back to me. Your sales assistant was really rude with her tone and actions. While she slammed/adjusting the placard on the table. I was sitting down and it’s right infront of my face. She could have told me nicely, Not behaving like this. If this is not discrimination I do not know what else to say.

Desired outcome: to feedback and hope there’s actions taken upon her discrimination/ rude attitude.
