Courts Singapore Overdue payments

Hi Courts Customer Care,

I do have an overdue account for an account no [protected]. Apparently, I've paid partial payment of $400 yesterday 05/08/19. I called your Customer Care today but was advised that the interest could accrued up to 25% if I were to make the balance payment next month.

Currently, I just started working and I'm on financial difficulties due supporting my grandfather who is ill. I would like my plan to be revise and hope that you will able to waive my late fee charges.

Courts Singapore Aircon repair department

My aircon is a Fujitsu System 4 which was installed in June 2016 and is under 1+4 Enhanced Warranty Plan coverage. One of my aircon unit in a common bedroom is not blowing any cold air. The rest of the 3 aircon units has no issues, blowing cold air as per normal.

I called Courts Aircon Repair on 24 July 2019 to arrange an appointment. The staff said they will arrange on 26 July 2019 and will call back to confirm the time. No news heard from them and I had to call on 26 July 2019 again to confirm the timing. To my dismay, they wanted to arrange for 30 July 2019 whereas they had initially told me on 24 July 2019 that the appointment is on 26 July 2019! I had to express my disappointment and frustration then they manage to arrange the appointment on 27 July 2019 between 1 to 3pm. So their technician came on 27 July 2019, Sat at around 215pm. After a thorough check, the technician said that they have to replace the PSB board and will feedback to their backend team to check availability of the parts.

I waited for someone to call and update me on 29 July 2019, still no news. Again I had to call on 30 July 2019 to ask for updates again, and to my dismay again, they've mentioned that they will need to check and the next earliest appointment slot will probably on next Monday which is 5 Aug 2019. I try to understand and figured that they might need some time. Coz after they check the parts availability at their store (which I believe should not take more than 1 day unless your Aircon parts store is as big as Jurong with no proper system), and if the parts is not available, then they will have to order the parts from Fujitsu Singapore, which I also believe 1 week is more than enough. So I obliged and waited.

On 5 Aug 2019, I called again in the morning for updates and spoke to Wang Ee. They've got the cheek to tell me that they still have to check for the parts availability at their store before placing order with Fujitsu. I'm already boiling but I kept my cool and told them to expedite, check and update me by end of 5 Aug 2019. I called back at 4pm and was told that Wang Ee was engaged on another line and will be calling me back to update. NO ONE CALLED BACK! I CALLED AGAIN AT 553PM AND THE LINE IS ALREADY CLOSED WHEN THEIR OPERATING HOURS IS SUPPOSED TO CLOSE AT 6PM!

Today, 6 Aug 2019, Wang Ee called me back at 919am to update and said she is still checking with her in-charge for the availability of the parts at their store. I appreciate her callback but her updates is unjustifiable. It is utterly ridiculous that they are still checking for parts availability at their store since 30 July 2019 till now, which is more than a week already! Courts store is as huge as a continent is it?! Worst still they will place order with Fujitsu if theres no parts, so how long more do I have to wait?! So Courts please look into this and get this done at soonest!

Dear Courts Customer Service,

Issues has resurface back with my aircon. This time round, all 4 FCU is not working. When switched on, the Economy green light is flashing at a fast pace, the Operation green light is flashing at a slower pace and the Timer red light is also flashing, all together at the same time. There is still air blowing out from all the units, but the air blow is very mild almost non existent.

As usual, I contacted Courts Aircon Repair department earlier and the earliest date they can arrange is on next Tuesday (8 Oct 19). I've already asked for the earliest slot available and they said that 8 Oct 19 is the earliest slot available and they will slot in my appointment if there is availability within this week. They will call me back in 2 days time to confirm the appointment. Honestly, I find that the way your aircon repair department arrange appointments is out of the norm.

Anyway I'm at work and I don't really wish to express my dismay after hearing that I needed to wait for a week (as I expected they could arrange an appointment within this week) so I just obliged for the appointment to be set on 8 Oct 19 at 4pm, and really hope that there will be an earlier slot than 8 Oct 19.

So I am writing in to you requesting for your assistance to monitor this issue as well as I do not want history to repeat itself.

Thanks and regards,
Shah Idah

Courts Singapore Bosch washer not properly installed

The first time delivery (27 July 2019) of the washer when the tap is not compatible, they just leave the premises without doing any arrangement, so I manage to arrange another appointment (29 July 2019) for them to come install the washer and they jus plug in with a thin tap and tape it, because we are not monitoring the installation, hence if we didn't know he ain't using a adpator to hold the pipe together with the tap, if we know it, we definitely will voice out, but during the installation, we trust he is doing a good job so we just waited at living room. It's only until yesterdat when we start using the washer, everything just burst out and all of our kitche wall and floor are wet and flooded with water.

Tax invoice : [protected]

Kindly assist. Thank you.

Regards,

Vivian

Courts Singapore Debt repayment

Dear Courts, by courtesy that I'm addressing you this way. The way you guys had been sending Debt Collectors, whom thought they have the upper hand of wanting to threaten to break into people's house (WITHOUT WRIT OF SEIZURE), is going to ruin your business reputation. Let's not even talk about anything else. This Mr Gomez that you sent, is not negotiating anything, but just plainly threatens to bring to court/legal tomorrow. I'm thinking if you want me to bring this issue up to the police, for them acting on your behalf, or how else you want me to believe that you guys are helping us. Not to mention, no one picks up the calls when we call the number they provided.
Calling your direct Courts credit management department, and they direct us back to this debt collector. Then what is the purpose of us, wanting to contact you guys to make arrangements for repayment. FYI, I am already unemployed, and how else would you expect me to churn money just like when and the amount you want. Tell me what is there to negotiate about, when I already told you guys to go ahead and repossess the item 2-3 years ago, and you guys didn't come do it.

Courts Singapore Honeywell air cooler

I purchased a Honeywell air cooler 2 years back with extra warranty of 1 year at the Jurong Point Courts. At the time of purchase the salesman said that we can return the item and there will be replacement with no questions.
The air cooler was making such a loud noise that we had to turn it off. When I returned the air cooler was making noise, but the salesman, Lester Chua refused to accept the item.
It just feels like this program with Courts is a scam. I have purchased items from Harvey Norman and the service is excellent. Going forward I will go to Harvey Norman. I am sad to make a switch after 8 years of being with Courts.

Courts Singapore Flexiplan visibility

Hi Courts,

It seems like there's no visibility of your flexiplan instalment.
I've paid to Courts every month but I didn't receive any receive or payment notice then how do I know how much I've been paid and when will be my last instalment.
Do we need to pay blindly? You should provide us with some receipt or invoice.
I understand that my instalment should be left only a few months.

I have some late payment but I'm also not sure how much I paid for the principal amount and how much is for the interest.

Please be more transparent with the bill.

Courts Singapore Delivery of goods

I am very disappointed with your service. I arranged with your guy to deliver on 11 jul 2-5pm bt batok 439b #09 979. I waited the entire 3 hours and yet I received no calls from the delivery guy. So I called ur hotline just was informed the hotline is closed due to appreciation dinner?

If courts was not delivering on that day, why wasn't I informed long ago and made me wait in my new house for 3 hours? What if I made you wait 3 hours and only to realize the delivery company went MIA? Is it my fault? I would have never thought I would receive this kind of service from an established company. Regardless, my wife called the next day and arrange another delivery date. I hope you all wake up your idea as I am sure I'm not the only customer who experienced this.

Courts Singapore Online purchase

Made an online purchase on 24 june with order acknowledgement. Did not hear back at all from courts with regards to delivery date. Personally called on friday to request for update on situation. Spoke to three different officers who were all rather clueless and did not know what to do. One told me it was out of stock. The other told me that stock was available for self-pick up. The last one told me she was not sure but thinks there is stock at warehouse and that delivery could be completed. On the same day, I received an email saying that the item is out of stock and no attempt was made to contact me personally on next course of action. I told the customer service officer I do not mind picking up the item or having it delivered. Whichever option was the quickest would be ideal. She said she'll give me a call back and it has been three days and I have heard nothing back. I find this absolutely unacceptable and border-lining on some of the worst customer service I have experienced. It is unethical on your part that full payment has been received and the product was not delivered and with no attempt to explain to the customer. My sales order ref: #865931670930

Courts Singapore Link point not receive

Dear sir/mdm,

I have purchased the above TV in March 2019, I understand there is Link points to be credit to my account but till now no news about it. I have send email to customer service and your staff (Anisah and Jay) have told me need few week to process but till now no reply from either one of them.

This is very frustrating keep on remind and remind but not even a single word or update on the issue. I was very disappointed on what the big company treated this case easily despite of several email sent.

Please act immediately. Thanks.

Courts Singapore Required to buy other products before buying a phone

I bought a Pixel 3a XL today at Courts Serangoon and my Boyfriend bought an iPhone X last year at Courts Orchard. We were both asked to buy other items before we became eligible to buy a Phone. This policy is so ridiculous. A spending of easily hundreds if not thousand required other purchase as pre-requisite?! I've spent hundreds at Courts on items like shaver, mattress, steam iron and standing fan. And this is how Courts treat the customers?!

If Courts does not like mobile phone business, please quit it, don't sell mobile phone anymore. If your company still want the customers to buy from Courts, please revise this policy.

And for this, I wouldn't buy from Courts anymore.

(I appreciate the employee's patience to explain this policy to me. But I think this policy makes your employees feeling embarrassed and awkward to serve customer for mobile phone. )

Courts Singapore Payment

Dear Courts,

I'm a customer with overdue payment.

In Feb 2019, I had issues with your outlet at Toa Payoh. Due to that issue, I wasn't able to go on and make my payment in Feb. I've contacted your helpdesk during that time period, your staff told me it was fine to delay the payment and that I have to settle the issue at the outlet itself. Unfortunately, up till late Feb, nothing was settled, and I had to email in, which no reply or whatsoever from your team.

I continue to wait for your reply for my email, only to learn that I have been charge with late payment fees! I refuse to make payment as Courts didn't officially get back to me and why the heck am I charged with extra fees when it's because of your pushy staff that led to my delayed payment.

I do not want to find fault on the matter as it's already settled, I want and will settle both the leftover and late payment fees. I ask for you to be lenient and let me continue to pay the monthly payment, and allow me to add the late payment fee to the total up - which will still be eventually paid off. I have financial difficulties, and the best I could fork out is only enough for the monthly instalment.

My account is [protected] / [protected]. Please get back to me asap.

Courts Singapore Payments

My mum rang in last week advising your debt collector that she will not be able to make the her full installment payments due to her losing her job as she has succumbed to her knee injury which she will be undergoing operation really soon. Thus, she is currently dependent on the SSO assistance.

Therefore, she had advised that she can only make $100 payment every month. I am so so annoyed that despite her trying to make the payments, your debt collectors are sending threatening letters and even telling her that they will send debt collectors down to her property! I never knew courts ran a legalised loan shark service.

I am very appalled by your debt collectors ignorance and their rudeness especially the guy who has been dealing with my mum. He is rude, no sense of manners and absolutely ignorant.

If there is going to be no action taken or if this issue is not going to be solved, I will have no choice, but to see the mp and request for help. Since he knows what is my mum's current situation. I do hope you get in-touch with me soon and have this issue settled. Thanks.

We were told by Christin that there was NO record of feedback in the hotline system. Poor communication between sales and customer service hotline.

Courts Singapore Wrong product given and poor customer service

On the 27th Apr i went to AMK Court to purchase my Karcher MV2 vacuum bag. The sale person told me they dont have stock and ask me to go NEX to get it. So i went to NEX and find the sale person how are selling Karcher product and told her to get me MV2 vacuum bag. Soon she get me the product and i went for payment.

When i reach home, to my dismay, the product she give me is wrong! She gave me MV2 Premium instead of MV2 bag!

I called the hotline to enquiry on the exchange. She told me to go to Megastore at tampines. I told her i stay in AMK and it was not my fault to purchase a wrong product. But she told me she cant give an exact inventory count on the stock but she stand firm that if i go to Megastore i will surely get an exchange as they have to largest inventory count.

So i had no choice and i went to Megastore for my exchange on 12th May. When i approach the sale person who are incharge of Karcher product and told her i want to exchange to a correct product, she told me i can use the wrong vacuum bag. She said it is only longer what. I told her i tested it on my vacuum cleaner and it will not fit. And she dont believe me and take a sample of my MV2 vacuum bag and show me it is the same. I told her why would i get a bag which is not suitable for my vacuum cleaner? I demand the actual product! And she then reply me we got no stock for your vacuum bag!

The question now is why did the customer service hotline told me they have stock and when i reach there is no stock?! And i am taking cab down and waste my rest day just to travel down tampines to get nothing?

So i when to the counter to complain on this matter and they keep pushing to one another. I request to talk to the manager but they didnt get me the manager. But instead a guy call Jason came to me. I explain to him the situation and he just told me the hotline personal is not an operation personal like he is. So they dont know anything. So now the question is does your courts staff really doesnt communicate with each other or there is something wrong with your system? In the end, Jason offer me that he will ask the hotline to give me a call on monday. But till today i still didnt receive a call at all!

I call back on 13th May again, and this time round, the hotline told me to give them 1week to settle this issue. I said that i had made 2 calls and send 2 email already! But there are totally no reply from the above method. So how do you expect me to trust what you said to me? She then told me she is not from the customer service when i request to talk to the manager or person in charge! What?! Did i hear wrongly? I called the customer service hotline and she told me she is not from customer service! What is this? Totally absurd! How do you expect me to go to courts to purchase anything more with this kind of staffs and service attitude they gave to me? Very disappointed with courts. And by the way, its been nearly 1 month i cant vacuum my floor. Please settle this fast!

Courts Singapore Issue on payment of the overdue amount

I received a call from an agency Hase Fargo Partners & Associates, regarding about my overdue payment from Courts.

This caller, send me an sms on to pay the full amount leftover which is $600-$700+ by TONIGHT whereas I end work at 1am, I felt being threatened by them whereas he told me to borrow anybody's money just to pay it by tonight or else they were to put the notice at my parent's house door, and worse to seize all valueable property in my parent's house. and also to pay the full amount which is almost $9000 (overdue amount + this monthly payment which is $184 + 25% interest)

I am not from a rich income family, and my pay is low, I am supporting my mother's kidney failure stage 3 treatment. and I feel it is better if I pay bit by bit rather than nothing at all which I did & I am trying my very best. and guess what he said? "you paid $52 recently already & you still want to pay bit by bit? it doesnt affect much on the overall amount that you need to clear." Please help me on this. At least I can clear of is $300 per month. thats the max I can do.
