POOR Customer Service. Cannot reach by Phone wait for callback
May 5 Jensen Beach. Both gift cards did not work. Manager said other cards were scammed. OK. Took a lot of time to get through to customer service but FINALLY did. The 2 cards were replaced. Then tried to use in Kissimmee, Florida and both cards were denied OK , Sept 24. SO. I FINALLY got through to customer service OCT say 7. This person says to send the cards back. I wanted to make sure that I will send them to the right address and again JUST wait wait wait on chat or phone. WOW. BaAD communication.

Excessive delay in food delivery at CB0262 Frederick, MD.
On Sunday, October 16, 2022 Wolf's Bus Line had advance reservations at CB0262 in the evening, upon returning home from Mt. Vernon. The bus arrived at about 6:00 pm. and we were seated at tables in groups of four. After 90 minutes, our table of four, and another table of four had not yet received our food. However, all other members of our tour had received and finished their meals. Our tour director tried to speak with the manager to express his dissatisfaction with the food service delay. He was then informed that the manager had left the restaurant. We were not informed about the reason for the delay when we had advance reservations. Perhaps Wolf's Bus Line should not stop here again.

Long wait
We went to the Spartanburg SC location on Sunday for lunch. We expected a wait outside, but once we were seated and ordered it was almost an HOUR before we got our food! Our waitress was awesome, but waiting for that long for food is ridiculous! Also, nobody around us was getting their food either, so I don't know what they were doing in the kitchen. We literally could have driven to the Duncan location, eaten and gotten back home before we did at this one that is just a few miles from our home. A total, we were there for about 3 hours! Not the way I want to spend a Sunday afternoon! Also, we had 3 small children with us that were starving by the time they got fed!
Desired outcome: This location needs some serious changes!!!

Wednesday evening around 7:00pm-Williamsburg VA Location
My husband and I ordered the Broccoli Cheddar Chicken. This location is quite often sold out of this dish by this time in the evening, but I have eaten this numerous times at another location before the pandemic started. When they brought us out our food, we could not believe they would even serve us this. Both of us received dried out broccoli cheddar chicken casserole and I had such a little bit of chicken on my plate, it was sad. It looked like the casserole had been sitting out for a long time and/or had been reheated and dried out. We should not have eaten the chicken, but we did. We both had upset stomachs after we got home. I am letting you know because I feel this location should be doing better than this, not because we want anything. If you are never notified that this kind of thing is taking place at this location, it will never be fixed. This is not the first time we have been disappointed in the food, but it was the worst incident so far.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response from Cracker Barrel. What good will it do to report this what happened if nothing is done to remedy it. They need to look at what is going on at that location.
Change in menu resulting in overcharge
Ordered Breakfast Sampler-was told it had been discontinued-server said he would help us thru the new process-result was an overcharge of 2.99 when he failed to tell us we could order the sampler item and ham was included. My wife order honey ham as under the old sampler process. By ordering ham instead of the sampler item, she was charged 2.99 while I ordered the sampler item and got ham, bacon and sausage for no extra charge. When I complained at checkout the manager said there was nothing she could do-corporate changed the menu. Server was 1900241-Nathan H-store CB0381, Greenville, Texas.
Desired outcome: Refund of 2.99 plus a promise to clarify menu for future customers.

Wait when place was not busy. Staffing issue. Sat and waiter forever for a chicken salad and meatloaf. Server kept saying they had to cook more chicken. My meatloaf came out first and was cold. Salad finally came out. Told server about cold food and she stood there. My wife had to suggest heating it up. She walked my food to another table before the kitchen. Biscuits were as hard bc as dog biscuits. Horrible experience. Last time I was there only 2 servers and a hour and a half wait.

Service/ Wait time
I went into the local store near my home to place an order. It took 45 minutes to get my food. I went out to my car to check my order and found that it was incorrect. I was missing many items and items were leaking from their container. I went back in and explained that I was missing many items. My hamburger for examples was a meat patty. No lettuce no tomato. It was a mess. Finally they decided to take the items back to the kitchen and repack. Great. They did. the manager Came back 15 minutes later and there were still items missing. She went to retrive the still missing items. At this point I had beeen waiting for an hour and 5 minutes for a to go order. I took the items to my car to leave and realized that they had not given me my recipt. so yes I went back in again. The cashier aplogized that she was not sure what she did with my recipt. she went therough the garbage in between other customers looking for it. I had people waiting for a birthday lunch. I wanited another 10 minutes before a manager (the same lady) went on and looked and looked for my order. so finally it was printed for me and I left. I was unahppy with the abyssmal servie and the wait time. It wouldnt have been so bad if the order had been correct. But wrong 3+ times. Come on. and to get no real apology. Not happy I spent over $60 with a tip... too bad I paid before I got my food and shoddy serivice.

Door dash menu
I live in Temple, Texas. I recently was looking at the cracker barrel menu through door dash and there are two items missing. The meatloaf meal and hashbrown casserole tots. I called and talked with the manager, and he said that corporate was in charge of the menu for door dash, he also said they were still selling those items. I'm disabled and have no vehicle or know of anybody to go buy these and that is why I use door dash
Desired outcome: I would like those two items returned to the menu.
Wait staff
Went to Cracker barrel on September 30, a little before 1:00 pm. Was seated and our waitress came and got our drink order, she took our food order. We had hot cakes with sausage, honey chicken with dumplings and steamed broccoli, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and fried okra. Had to ask for more tea about 20 mins later finally got it. We had been there of an hour and still didn't have our food. Another waitress came and said she was going to be our server, after she took over we got our food in about 15 minutes. Our first server was still there and taking care of customers. This is the worst experience I have ever had. Cracker barrel is one of our favorites but after that experience we won't be back for a while. went into Cracker barrel in Sulphur La few minutes before 4 on Friday, Sept 30. Seated immediately. Two black women came in after us and were seated next to us. Waitress came, took their order, never acknowledged us. After 20 minutes we got up and left, no one seemed to care. Maybe if at least one of us were black we would have been waited on. Vary sad to see that you no longer offer spicy grilled catfish. I know that during COVID you had to move to “pieces” of catfish and then you went back to the full filets. If it is a supply chain issue please, please return it to your menu as a future offering. The product was great and consistent at all of your distributed stores/restaurants nation wide ( ex military an know). It was a guarantee not to get screwed up and our all of our family enjoyed that meal.

My name is Joylyn, I am a travelling nurse staying at the Hampton next to the Cracker Barrel in Janesville. I called in and placed an order for fried apples and fried cat fish with green beans there was a mixed up with the order and I was given baked lemon trout, which I discovered. I called and the lady that answered the phone after I explained to her what happen I asked her if I should bring the trout back and she replied no, just come over and pick up the fried fish, when I got there the manager came to the front with an attidue before I could explained she said she would have to refund my card then take another order which would have been okay, then she told me that I have to go and bring back the trout I toid her that I did not like her not because she was white but beause she made me do unneccasry walking when all this could have been avoided after she refunded my card I commence to reorder and she refused to allow me order, telling me that I was shouting which I was not she ask me to leave the store which I did politely I think she wanted to show herself as there were people around I have ordered the same thing there every other day for the past month first time having any problems.Thinks could have been handled better if they has explained on the phone what needed to be done

Employee training and treatment
I am a new employee at Cracker Barrel and how they treat new employees is horrible it’s my first time as a server and I’m learning fast a lot of things I’ve had to learn myself and I’ve made mistakes but that happens as a new employee u make mistakes but I get attitudes and frustration even had a plate shoved towed me aggressively because I made a mistake on an order . Also just yesterday I made a Mistake stalking the alcohol and had on beer mistaking it another and that’s was the last thing I had to do before going home and the manager at the time got frustrated and basically made me wait 30 to 45 minutes before she got the correct alcohol I needed and said she didn’t kno what beer I wanted when I told her and she said next time to follow her around the stir to keep reminding her and mind u is was not busy at all we were closing then I clocked out and was waiting on my food I ordered for myself and my uncle and cursing and another employee place it on the to go table and said it was ready to go just needed to be bagged I ended up haven’t to put the top on it and get my own bread and condiments because he said he was trying to hurry and go home so I basically had it finish the job just to get home and see the order was wrong and the food was not even done getting dressed is was missing gravey and sauce that went on the meal .. it been a horrible experience so far bad work environment there are good employees but the ones who are not just ruin it and it really can discourage and employee I work hard even picked up two other peoples shifts last week I help people out alot with what they need I think they need to train employees alot better and treat them with more respect and patience teach them what they don’t know not get annoyed and frustrated it makes me not wanna work for crackle barrel because I dread going in so times because of the treatment hopefully it gets better and the work environment doesn’t stay so toxic and draining

Bad service and food complaint
First we were told to wait 10 minutes, in 15 minutes we were called. Once inside there were at least 10 tables free. Host showed us a picture of the lunch special
)meatloaf(. Waitress arrived she said are you ready to order. WE just sat down did not even open menu. We the food arrived I complained about my meatloaf meal. I had one small scoop of potatoes, and my meatloaf was so small, about 2 table spoons of hamburger, even had a hole in middle and no topping. It did not look like the picture. Waitress said it was because it was a half the size of the regular meal. 5 minutes she dropped off biscuits that were so hard and burned on bottom. Could not even cut them in half. Never saw the waitress again until she brought the bill, and we asked her for a box. My meal was terrible, and I went to the host desk and told them they should not be showing the lunch special because it was half that size. They said they did not know that.
Waitress was no where to be found. busboy got us a box. We love the cracker barrel and this was not good business,

So at 10:30 my mother and I came in for breakfast and was sat down right away. Thought was a good sign. No - from the time we ordered our food it took 1 hour to get. Then when the food arrived it was cold and wrong but we were not about to send anything back. By this time, we just wanted to get up and leave, which is what we should have done. Our regular grits were now cheese grits and the biscuits were not done. We will definitely not be back. I fully understand that there is an employee issue these days but you need to let people know when they come in what the wait time might be. We told several people coming in when we were leaving and they turned around and left. Ridiculous! We saw our waitress one time only.

Obscene wait time
I called to ask if they had found a debit card that day and I was on hold ALMOST AN HOUR! It took 10 minutes for someone to answer the phone, then when they finally did I asked if they had found a debit card and I was placed on hold for 25 minutes! I called again and I was answered after about 5 minutes, I asked to speak to the manager and I was put on hold for 35 minutes! I'm an so outraged and disgusted by this. I had to drive down there to ask a 5 minute question, then when I got there the manager was careless and extremely rude. She didn't give a crap I just waited an hour to get an answer to a 5 minute question! I was in the middle of moving and driving to pickup a uhaul and the fact I had to wait and go out of my way to see if I left my debit card is outrageous and disgusting. The management there needs serious consequences, as a previous manager myself this is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! I WILL NEVER EAT AT ANY OF YOUR RESTAURANTS AGAIN AFTER THIS!
Also my dad wanted to help her press charges. Even though she is not his mom. To get back at him I said that he used to fondle me as a child. NO one beleived me becasue I always accuse men of these things when I am mad at them.
I cannot believe that I am being harassed here. This incident made me so upset. I could not think straight. I sadly took my anger out on my grandmother. She ended up with a broken jaw and broken ribs thanks to them.
While i do understand moving is stressful. you called them multiple times to ask if you accidentally left your card there. they were rude because they figured out it was you who was calling them multiple times instead of waiting. yes you had to wait long and that isnt cool, but hanging up and calling back is also not cool. they have many customers at multiple locations.
I have seen sometimes that a recipt book is left on the table with money in them. one time about 12 years ago i saw one had a card still in it. we gave it to the server and made sure the owner of said card got it back.

The female person assigned to seat guests was asked how much longer our wait would be after we had waited half an hour. She was purely hateful and short. She advised that she was busy and didn’t have time for my question, and turned her back and walked away.
I’ve been enjoying Cracker Barrel’s friendly courteous service and great food for years, and have never been treated this way in any restaurant or venue. Ever
There was no supervisor about. As a business owner I have always preached to my employees that they are Ambassadors for me and my business.
I am not sure that I will go back, but I want Cracker Barrel to be aware of this employee’s behavior. I didn’t get her name but you have your schedule to refer to to ascertain who your rotten apple is.

My name is Pattie L King. I live in corbin Ky. We use to have one of the best Cracker Barred in the South. I filed a complaint last the week. I hope that you received it. Now I am filing a complaint for my Cousin Shelia Garrison from Barbourville Kentucky just a few miles from Corbin. This morning (9-10-22) she and her family came to eat at Corbin Cracker Barrel. From where she was sitting she could see into the kitchen. She saw one of the waiters pick up eggs off of a plate that was to be taken out and served and play with it and put it back on the plate (Shelia thought it was.Her plate). But they served it to a man at another table. Shelia got explained to the man what she saw. Then went and got manager and told she was offered more of different food. She said she told him no thank you I will not be back. You have got to get kitchen managers or cameras to me and the kitchen. With in a week one person was caught putting fingers in said dressing and licking it off now this please I am begging you help us keep this a nice place. Bring service back

poor service and lousy food
Complaint: Cracker Barrel CB0718 Linthicum Heights, MD
Today, Tuesday Aug 30th at approximately 9:30 am my wife and I went to the Cracker Barrel at Linthicum. I want to complain about the service and the food we received. Please note: This was our fifth visit to the Linthicum location. We ordered basically the same breakfast, but my wife did not want the biscuits and she asked the waitress if she could get one pancake instead of biscuits. The waitress said sure not a problem and she can do that. I got eggs over easy bacon and hashbrown casserole and jelly for the biscuits. The biscuits were hard enough to bounce off the floor no jelly. The waitress did not get our order right. My wife ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrown casserole with a pancake. The pancake and bacon were not with her breakfast, when the food was brought out. We told the server that we ordered bacon and one pancake. He said you order bacon too I said yes sir. He said it’ll be right up. He did not bring the bacon and pancake that my wife had ordered. We got the bacon about 5 minutes later but still no pancake. Again, we told the waitress that we did not get a pancake. When the waitress brought us our check, we told her again that we did not get a pancake. The waitress asked my wife if she still wanted the pancake. My wife said yes, it is supposed to be including in my breakfast, right? We told her yes and she brought out two pancakes. The bill was a little over $26 and when we went to the cashier, she wanted to charge us $31. I asked why and was told the reason is because of the pancake order. We asked to speak to the Manager and she told us that we could not substitute biscuits for pancakes. I told the Manager about the situation and that this is the worse Cracker Barrel we have visited in any state, and we have been to several. This Cracker Barrel has been bad since they opened several years ago. We have been there several times and each time we expect them to be better and each time we leave disappointed. The windows are filthy, and you can hardly see out of them. The staff are very unprofessional and manager did nothing to try and satisfy our complaint and only shrugged it off like she did not care.
PS: we also left a $5 tip before we found out about the extra $5, they charged us.
I hate to say this but Cracker Barrel is not a Cracker Barrel in a city environment. The small country locations are the best with staffs that care about their customers, but this Cracker Barrel is the pits. Someone needs to investigate this location and find out for them selves
