I ordered a part from Cuisinart on a Sunday. 30 mins later I found out that I didn't need the part and cancelled the order. They shipped it anyhow and for a 1.59 part charged me about 7.00 for shipping. It was shipped on a Monday.
When I inquired why it had not been cancelled they said they don't take messages on Sunday. And there was nothing they could do, however, I could ship it back and they emailed me a packing slip. When I inquired about a refund for the shipping costs that I paid no-one would give me an answer, although I was very explicit, and sent 4 emails. Each person totally ignored my question about the refund. And if they could ship something that fast then I would expect them to be able to cancel the order. I find their customer service to be lacking as they seem to have their people trained not to respond to questions or to the customer. I finally gave up and will never do business with them again. I was a first time customer on their website and will be a last time customer. I find this kind of service unacceptable.

We purchased a Cuisinart coffee machine a couple of years ago, and already it doesn't work; the machine turns itself off before it finishes brewing or soon after it's finished. We contacted Cuisinart and they offered nothing other than to sell us another one of their crummy coffeemakers. Don't buy one!

The same exact thing happened to me with Cuisinart. I have had 2 different 12 Cup Brew Stations. Both of them stopped brewing. Same product, same problem twice. Cuisinart sells defective products. The only response that I got from them was that they would sell me a new one & pay for the shipping. Hardly the response that I would have expected from such a large company. Cuisinart has lost another customer. I can spend my money anywhere on anything & be assured that when I do it will not be for one of thier products. Cuisinart...another unsatisfied customer!

You're problably using the cookware in high heat and this is why it has blistered when in use . try reading the manuel / instruction book.

wow, i have had my dcc-1200 for 8yrs now and by descaling the coffee maker with white vingar and water as usual to maintain is has last me . I wouldn't expect for a coffee maker that has 3yr warranty to last for ever but I'm glad to know I keep my receipt until the warranty goes out cause lord knows how long the stores hold on to these products. Try keeping up with the cleaning to your coffee makers when you get one cause misuse will break your coffee maker

I received a replacement coffee maker from Cuisinart which also proved faulty. The company acknowledged that the coffee maker sent to me was faulty but refused to replace it because they said they hadn't received the first one which I had sent back.
Made in China.

Bad customer service. Called to ask about replacement part customer service representative was rude. When I called 5 mins later I was on hold about 40 mins and nobody answered. Will never buy from this company any product again.
