I was given a Cuisinart Airfyer Toaster oven for Christmas, it was purchased with a gift certificate at Canadian tire on 24th Dec 2021.But unfortunately it is missing the Pull out Cromb tray and air fryer basket. It says these are included but i was very dissapointed to find they were not.I could not return it at the store as the box was thrown out with all the boxes and christmas paper. Is there any way i can get these two items shipped to me?
Merry Christmas
Wendy

Warranty
I made a call to Cuisinart Customer Service today and it was the worst customer service experience I've had for years, if not so far. I called to inquiry about the warranty on an air fryer that I purchased less than 3 years ago, which should be under warranty as defined by Cuisinart warranty policy.
At first, the representative kept on arguing with me that my air fryer was out of warranty based on the serial number and "year" (though I don't know what she meant by that). I told her the original purchase date was December 2018 which was technically less than 3 years ago, but she still insisted that she was correct and said "I don't know what you are trying to say". I didn't know how I could be more clear, shouldn't you know better than I do? Also, the air fryer was out months ago and I luckily found out in time that supposedly it's still under warranty. Come on Cuisinart, don't run away from your defective product. If you provided 3 year warranty then you should honor it without giving your customer such a hard time!
Then I was finally able to convince the representative to process my claim, and she was not willing to provide clear guidance. She asked me to send my proof of purchase to an email, and I had to ask her to repeat multiple times to clarify what she said, and she could've just spelled it out to be helpful but she didn't. Still not sure, I then spelled it out to her to confirm I got it right, and she said "that's what I said, 'cord'!" I said "I just wanted to spell it out to be sure I got it right, " and she responded "I am not saying you're wrong, that's what I gave you." For the other part of the email address, I had to beg her to spell it out too. Then I had to pull teeth to get every piece of what I need to do to get the claim submitted correctly. Yet I still do not know for sure whether it was done correctly, based on how helpful this phone call was.
Cuisinart, you be the judge whether it was correct or professional to treat your customer like that. I've been a loyal customer of Cuisinart but today's experience really deflated my confidence of your brand. I gave you benefit of doubt when my air fryer went out. But now I not only question the qualify of your products, but also more of the quality of the training provided to your employees. It should be better than that.
Desired outcome: Warranty claim processed and better customer services in the future
Cuisinart model #mcp 193-18n sauce pan w/cover 3.0 qt stainless steel induction ready v#17550hd 0620
No complaint here, actually. I just wanted to say how much I like my Cuisinart SS pots and pans for my induction stove top. They are easy to clean. They heat evenly. They look good. Food tastes great when using them.
Unlike the types of pans I used to use, there is no "teflon" type of surface to go bad after a few weeks of using them and having the food stick to them in spite of the mfg's promise of lifetime "NO STICK" of the surface.
Keep up the good work, Cuisinart. I do love my Cuisinart SS pots and pans.

PS I got them at Bed Bath and Beyond about 1.5 years ago.

Your customer service centre re: cuisinart airfryer toaster oven
I have for 3 days set on my phone when time always. I am in and out so do not want call back. Each time I have called no matter what time of day I have set for over 50+ minutes. Back in April or May I purchased a Cuisinart Airfryer Toaster oven. Live in Nova Scotia so can't walk it back to Ontario. From day one light did not work, then I have tried to use the toaster which dries out the bread before it even starts to get brown, using dark setting. I have tried over time to used it for all the options and have no success. Bought at Canadian Tire, in New Minas on line and picked it up in one of there pick up stations in the store. Spoke with them about it and they said just to bring it in and they will replace it. Not sure why my booklet had a yellow sheet in it saying not to take it back to place of purchase.
The box is long gone as I do not have room to store empty boxes. Receipt has been missed placed. HELP! One frustrated customer!
Replacement was to have been sent
I called more than 2 weeks ago because my brand new product, CHW-12 did not work. The serial number is 1721FT. I was told to cut the plug off and a new one would be sent to me. I did not want the same one and the one I wanted was a lower price. I was told that it would be shipped within 10 days. I cannot get anyone on the Customer Service telephone line and I have no product.
I am very unhappy with Cusinart and will never purchase another product. At this point I have nothing for the money that you received about 30 days ago.
Desired outcome: I WANT A REPLACEMEN PRODUCT
Warranty claim runaround over flaky coating
I bought two nine inch round cake pans. They were used appropriately and hand washed every time. After several years, the coating on one pan began to noticeably flake off. I called and received a replacement. I mentioned the second pan was starting do likewise but they refused to replace both pans. Well, here we are less than a year later with the second pan's coating flaking off into the food cooked in it. On 9/3/21 I again called in a warranty claim and was told 7-10 business days. That time came and went, no tracking number, no pan. I called and got into such a run around I had to ask for a supervisor. She immediately confused this claim with the first one and got a bit huffy. I patiently explained the whole story and she backed down, apologized and assured me it was shipping that very day, 9/17/21. So I again waited. No tracking number, no pan. I called today 9/23/21 and the very nice rep could not explain why it was not shipped. She escalated it to an "investigation" and assured me I would hear from them in 24-48 hours. Nothing happened. I called one last time on 9/28 to be told they are waiting for the warehouse to catch up on orders, that I would get a tracking number and a follow up call from Nicole in 48 hours. Isn't doing the same thing over and over expecting difference results the very definition of insanity? Five phone calls, zero results = no more buying anything from Cuisinart.
Desired outcome: A cake pan and more importantly, a professional warranty claim process.

Toaster
I have been using Cuisanart products for many years . I still have a food processor that was probably purchased in the 1980's and have always found that to be more than satisfactory.
With this in mind, when we wanted new pots and pans we went and bought Cuisanart. We lke these and would recommend them to anyone. Then we purchase a four slice toaster that lowers and lifts the toast by pushiing a button as well as when the toast is done. This is, by far, the worst toaster that I have ever has ever owned. By far!
It toasts from top to bottom ffairly well. It occaisonally catched a piece of toast when it is being discharged when ready. But the biggest problem is that itdoes not toast front and back evenly. The inside is always much, much darker. This forces me to toast bread part way then turn the toast around to finish it. Not a very convenient method.
When using the bagel setting, the inside will be done while the outside in still cool, basically untoasted. Again, I have to turn the bagel around, this time when it is about 2/3 done.

Flexible silicone stretch lids.
I bought a package of stretch lids, thinking wow that is an answer to my problem. What a disappointment . What am I doing wrong . Even my Grandaughter tried them . (by the way, she can make everything work:))They do not cling at all. I bought them at a wal Mart not a Dollar General, so they should be first hand quality. I have had them for a while because of other more important issues (health) The sizes were 2 medium and 2 large. Have you had other complaints?
Desired outcome: I want to know how to make the darn things work!
Cuisinart compact air fryer toaster oven
I bought a cuisinart compact air fryer toaster oven on May 18, 2020. The temperature, toast, time and function black numbers etc has almost all disappeared. I called customer service. First rep said I would receive a new replacement. Never received it. Called back and was told since I used an abrasive cleaner on it they would not replace it. I used lysol which is not considered an abrasive cleaner. Abrasive cleaners have small particles of minerals such as calcite, feldspar, quartz and silica. None of which are in lysol. I used only a dish rag to clean it. Nothing abravise. With covid I have used lysol on everything and have not had this problem with anything else. I feel like I should receive a replacement as I was originally told.
Desired outcome: replacement
5 quart pot with glass lid
Purchased the pot from home goods on 1/17/21. I used it for the first time on
Easter to cook sauerkraut and the hole top rim of the inside of the pot has black spots imbedded into the pot and will not come of.
Home goods Cockesyville, MD would not let me return it to their store because of COVID restrictions. They told me to reach out to the manufacturer.
I would like a full refund.

Cuisinart cook central 3-in-1 multicooker msc-600
I purchased a multicooker about a year and a half ago but only started using it this past winter. I am unhappy concerning the aluminum cooking pot. The surface of the pot is becoming pitted and peeling. We do not use metal utensils in this pot.
I would like to have the pot replaced as I feel it did not hold up as it should.
Thank you in advance.

Food processor not working
I have spent hours on the phone and have parts sent to me several times and found out today they purposely sent me the wrong bowl for my food processor because the one they want me to have has been out of stock for a long time. They sent it knowing it was not going to work just to get me off of the phone. They have a high volume for this and wanted me to look on the web site each day to see if it is in stock again and then call them back. I refused and wanted to talk to a supervisor. There should be a recall if there is a high volume for this part not working. They would not let me talk to a supervisor and have decided they will send me the part once it is in stock again, maybe months from now. I wanted a replacement food processor and they will not send me one. I asked 3 times to talk to a supervisor and they refused. I have an expensive food processor that has never worked. I had to borrow one for my holiday baking from someone. Their customer service is horrible and their food processor is junk. The first time I called today I got disconnected and had to go through all the call queue again to talk to someone else. I was muted numerous times and made to wait while she talked to the supervisor. Meanwhile I am wondering if I got disconnected again or what. The pusher does not reach the button on the base to allow it to run. I know the problem but cannot get anyone to help me. Either the bowl with the pusher enclosed is defective or the base has the button out of alignment.
Desired outcome: I want a new food processor that works
PRC-12
Why would you build a quality percolator using quality product except for the retainer nut holding pot to base. The nut has eroded approximately one third of total area. Two thirds of remainder dies not hold well enough to keep from leaking. You must have saved a few cents on that inferior nut. One cheap part ruins a quality product.

Cuisinart® grind central coffee grinder
I bought a coffee grinder for my daughter on 1/4/20 from Target. The cost was $29.99 plus tax.
I have the same coffee grinder and really like it. So I know the way it is supposed to work.
My daughter's coffee grinder spews coffee grounds all over the place. She has to place a plastic lid on top and start the coffee grinder with a toothpick in the start hole. This is very messy. And I am embarrassed I gave her a gift that is ineffective.
Please send me a coupon to purchase a new one or reimbursement of the purchase cost.
Cuisinart coffee pot
I purchased a Cusinart Coffee Pot when I had replaced all appliances in my kitchen about 2 years ago. Yesterday, 2/13, the base of the unit started to leak. I used the progammable function as my husband is awake early for his job. He woke to find coffee all over the counter.
I am so dissatisfied with this product. After such a short time, the product malfunctioned and I had to immediately go out to buy a new coffee pot.
I am requesting a refund for my misfortune.
Your reply will be appreciated.

Customer service
Purchased a set of Cuisinart non-stick hard anodized cookware on Dec 9, 2019 from a big box store and registered the product the next day per instructions. After using the large saucepan a few days later, we noticed an area of the pan where the "finish" was missing. We contacted customer service via phone and the agent could not locate the model # of the pan that was located on the bottom of the pan. We were told to send an email to customer service with pictures of the damaged area plus the model information on the bottom of the pan. We did receive an email from a rep a few days later wanting us to send pictures of the damage and model information which we had already done. In another email about a week later, the rep said she could not locate the pictures we had previously sent but would replace the pan based on the information we provided in the first email. She gave us an order # and said the replacement would arrive in 7-10 days. Two weeks later, I emailed the rep indicating the we had not received the replacement. She checked and said that it was still in the warehouse and please allow another 7-10 days. Two weeks later we contacted her again and this time she said the pan could not be shipped due to year end inventory. Please allow another 7-10 days. Two weeks later I contacted customer service by phone and spoke with another agent and a supervisor who provided a UPS tracking #. The pan supposedly would be shipped in a day or so. A week later, I contacted customer service again telling them that UPS tracking indicated that the tracking # was not valid. I told them at that point that I would be submitting a complaint to the state attorney general office if we did not see some shipping within 24 hours. Voila! Package is now shipped.
I have been using your products for years and have always been satisfied with their performance. It is unusual for me to be contacting any company with complaints or inquiries, but I feel that this issue is worth pursuing. I purchased two (2) pans at Bed Bath and Beyond approximately 2 years ago; an 8 inch skillet model number 68122-20 and a 10 inch skillet model number 68122-24. Just to mention, my background is in food service sales and a restaurant owner of 2 establishments, so cooking and food preparation is a part of my DNA. These skillets for some reason are pitting and appear to be cracking. There are some minor scratches through extended use, but the small pits and cracking are my concern and I feel should not be happening, particularly the way I cook and care for my cookware. I took the pans back to BBandB and they advised me to contact your company directly...so here we are. I would appreciate your response and help regarding this issue.
Thank you, Alan Smolar (smolar.alan@gmail.com)

french classic tri ply stainless cookware
I purchased this product online through Kohl's, model fct-13. I received it on Nov. 17. Right out of the box I noticed the rim on the pasta insert is not flush, is bent and could come apart. I called 800-726-0190 that day and talked to a service rep who told me to send a photo to the customer service email. I sent the issue and photo email on Nov 17 and received an auto reply that I will hear back from them in 24-48 business hours. It's now over 60 business hours and no response. I emailed again for a status Nov 26 no response. I called yesterday, Nov 26 and today, Nov 27 and am on hold for over 30 minutes no matter what time of day I call, it seems like a scam. I want my defective piece replaced per the warranty. Looks like next step will be the Attorney General and Better Business Bureau, seems like they don't honor their warranty.
Finally got through on the phone. They advised I would get an email response from them by the end of today.
cuisinart belgian waffle maker stainless steel waf-f10
I bought this waffle maker in 12/22/2018 at Kohl's and was used about 5 times. I was using this waffle maker one morning and went to rotate it and it fell apart. The reason I believe is the design of the support is not proper or strong enough. The pictures show the thin areas that broke when I rotated it. The entire unit fell sideways almost causing me to burn myself.
