cvs pharmacy staff re: lantus insulin
I called cvs Pembroke/federal, Hollywood, Florida 19549217747 on January 17, 2019 to refill 3 prescriptions, 1 of which was my insulin. The pharmacist said she would have to call the doctor to refill.
I received 2 scripts a couple days ago. No insulin. The pharmacist checked records to say doctor sent script to skokie, illinois and she would request insulin for the next day delivery. (they were out).
Today is january 23. After receiving no text messages saying my script was ready I stormed in today at 5:00 and with no feeling and a matter-of-fact statement, the (lazy!) pharmacist says no insulin for me. At first, she claimed it was not delivered. I told at her to find me some! 2 days?
Her excuse was there were only 4 pens. Who cares, lady? Then there were 5. She was full of bull the moment she opened her mouth. I told her to look in the fridge. Somehow she found some. She claimed that it arrived? But that it wasn't returned? Returned from a customer? No returned to the fridge? I don't know. I don't care. What was it doing out? Is it still ok?
I just seems your people are lazy and non-caring. They don't stock refrigerated insulin immediately, just when they feel like it. They are trained to care a heck of a lot more about the inventory, the computer screen, and nobody gives a crap that I am a sick person and I need my meds and I don't ever expect a 5 day delay. She should have offered me other solutions. One pen. Or a needle and some insulin.
denying a customer narcan against state law, refusing to give me supervisor's name, hanging up on me
Yesterday (1/19/2019) around 3 pm, my friend called me in a panic asking where she could get narcan as she had encountered two men who were displaying effects of opioid use (she had already spoken with first responders on scene and wanted some to carry on her person). I told her to go to the closest pharmacy to her at that moment, which was the CVS Pharmacy...

The prescriptions are not being filled. My auto refills have been in process for a week. When I've tried calling there is no answer. You have to go into the pharmacy and hear them not answering the phone. Stand in long lines. When I get to an actual pharmacist, he's rude. I asked for status of my prescription. Explain I have to come in since not answering phones for over a week now. My auto refills aren't getting filled. His reply was that is true. I said of course, I hear your phones. I have to come in and stand in line to see when my prescription will be filled. If I need to transfer my prescription out I will. After whining, yes whining, how understaffed they are. To which I explained that I understand that people get understaffed. But, when dealing with medication you need to let people know which is not being done. They are not sending out text or anything. They are ignoring everyone. My medication is for high blood pressure. For which could cause problems. Then he said it will be done in an hour. When I pick up. They don't even tell me that he didn't fill my medication completely. Only 10 pills. 1 week later and still not filled. And this was the 2nd time going through this with them. I have to remind them to refill my prescriptions. Absolutely no customer service. It use to be a great place to go to. Especially because of drive through. Not anymore. I will be transferring my service elsewhere.
no one answering the phones
No phone access for info. My Dr. Tried calling was on hold for 30 min. Finally hung up. I have been calling for 3 days. Waiting for up to 45 min. No answer. When your in the store you hear pharmacy 11 calls waiting. Or what ever number it is at the time. Yet No one ever picks up a phone. Must go to store and are met with rude customer service. Said they dont have the staff to answer phones. Long wait time 10 people deep. People just come in look at the line and leave. Drive through 6 cars deep. People complaining in line and speaking of wrong medications being given out. If you cant run an effecient business with proper staffing shut down.
use of plastic bags at cvs stores
In Beverly MA an ordinance to ban the use of single use plastic bags with a thickness of less than 4 mil came into effect on Jan. 1st 2019. The two CVS shops in Beverly have responded by using plastic bags with a thickness of 2.5 mil. Although it says the bags can be used 125 times, this is clearly not in the spirit of the ordinance and the result is that people will still use them as 'single use' bag and the damage to the environment continues. CVS - please set an example and do the right thing for our community and the environment
CVS doesn't care.
Whatever, at least have the balls to use your first name or a screen handle and maybe people would take you serious. If you need a suggestion for a screen handle, try Snowflake...
pharmacist comments
On 1/11/2019 I was inside the store at the pharmacy to pick up several prescriptions for my disabled sister. Even though she'd been notified they were ready for pickup, the assistant was unable to find one of them. As I waited, the pharmacist was forced to handle the window customers. He did so very hatefully, at one point saying, "JESUS CHRIST! These people today!".
I gasped, along with the other four customers waiting.
His name is Christopher L. Collins, & at the very least should be reprimanded.
We would change pharmacies if my sisters Medicare costs wouldn't rise.
Try working for CVS and dealing with some of the people we do before passing judgement.
buying a syringe
I have a prescription for medication that can only be administered with a syringe. I've had this prescription for about a year and CVS sells me the medication and syringes so I can inject the medication. A CVS Pharmacists (new to my store) refused to sell me syringes without a "prescription". She had already looked up my "prescription" on her computer to "validate" my medication that requires a syringe. She told me "I would need a prescription for "syringes" - separate from the "medication" prescription". I've never heard of this before. Why wouldn't my doctor not know he would need to write "two" "prescriptions"? One for the medication and one for syringes to administer it. I asked the Pharmacist if she could tell me CVS's policy regarding the sell of syringes. She said she would not. And called the store manager to deal with me. I still have no idea how I can get syringes from CVS anymore. Does anyone have any info?
employee located at cvs pharmacy in target, auburn, ca
I currently work for a pharmacy and have run into a major issue with one of the employees within this last week. Her name is rachel and she was last spoken to on 1/15 at 10:40 am regarding a request to cancel a prescription as a pt was waiting at our pharmacy. I got the same response from her as i have last week regarding two separate occasions for prescription transfers, "that the provider needs to stop sending prescriptions 'accidentally' as it is very annoying and time consuming." previous incidents occurred on 1/11, /1/8 and 1/7.
I have worked for cvs pharmacy for quite a few years before the company i am at now. Never have i ran into an issue with any pharmacy with any worker being nearly as rude. We can understand locations get busy and the request for their assistance regardless of what the issue is (prescription transfer, cancellations by a physician, etc) is expected as a courtesy at their convenience. A simple "it will take me some time" will suffice as an answer. However the extremely rude rant that rachel does every single time the two pharmacies i work for and our sister locations have called is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Not only have we run into complaints by our fellow co-workers, but by mutual patients in which they have wished to transfer their prescriptions to us (almost on average 30 minutes out of their way) - solely because of this employee.
Please address this issue as soon as possible. This employee has gotten way out of hand within this past month. Thank you. The details for the store she is located at are as follows:

norditropin copay assistance
My daughter has taken norditropin for growth hormone deficiency for many years and I have always received a grant to cover copays/deductibles from the healthwell foundation. It has always run smoothly until last year.in january 2018 they were supposed to bill healthwell for the $4027 copay to release the funds. All they needed was a piece of paper saying the name of the drug, what insurance covered and what the balance was. Every month they send me a bill for $4027 and said they never received healthwell's funding. I must have made over 100 phone calls including 3way calls with both companies. Every time they would assure me that the matter had been resolved and I was all set. The next month the bill would come again. Now I can't even fill my daughter's prescription. They are witholding it until I pay. So I call helathwell and they tell me cvs doesn't file the right papers and the cycle continues. I don't know what to do.
medication and violating my legal docs
My name is Rayna Stafford I went to CVS to fill my prescription pharmacist Nany Le said they do not take cash and said only insurance I told her I settled my workers compensation case which shows I cannot use my insurance until 2020. Nancy violates my legal docs and ran my insurance medical and refused to take cash as it stated on the legal provided.
Read full review of CVSthey did not have the meds in stock and said it would take 10 days for this medication to come in
I am the caretaker of my 80 year old aunt who has had to move in with my sister due to her recent dx of Lung Ca.
This is the second time we have tried to get her pain meds filled and this pharmacy does not keep this medication in stock.
I know the government is cracking down on this type of pain medication but if she could wait 10 days to relieve her pain she would not need this medication at all.
So I stopped by the next day to see if by some miracle they had this medication in stock yet and the Pharmacist said very rudely advised me again it would take 10 days to get it in IT IS VERY OBVIOUS HE IS AFRAID OF ADMINISTERING THIS MEDICATION.
Help would not offer any solution nor would he help us in any way way just keep repeating nothing he could do it was a class 2 drug .
If your pharmacist are going to be this uncompassionate to their clients you need to fire them.
My sister has been doing business at this location for over 30 years and she is going to change pharmacies.
I have concerns about CVS also
website filled with errors
My prescription numbers, refills and other pertinent data are often incorrect. CVS REALLY SUCKS AT CUSTOMER SERVICE, RELIABILITY, EFFICIENCY AND TRUST. I am now afraid to take any meds these people are involved with. This has been the case in multiple states so I can only surmise that their top management, like most American corporations, could care less than less about their customers. GET A GRIP YOU JERKS. YOU ARE DEALING WITH THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF PEOPLE.
customer service
I was using the public restroom at the cvs in mission Viejo, ca. A man identified himself as a deputy with orange county sheriffs department Started violently banging on the door demanding I open the door. I opened the door to a cvs pharmacy emploee who then ask to see my bag I had with me of my personal clothes inside. He stated that he had to check it without giving any reason to do so. But I agreed to him looking and i had nothing that was taken from the store. Then I was told to leave and would not be allowed back. I did nothing legal wrong or against store policy.
manager/customer service employee
My husband and I were at the CVS at 1223 2nd Avenue on 65th street in Manhattan in the area that we live in on December 24th, 2018. It's the closest to our home. My husband always goes there to refill his Green Dot card. My husband told the cashier who's name is (Neimarie) as he always does that he wants to put money on his card. The cashier (Neimarie) who...

On march 13, 2017 I was in cvs during a blizzard and there was noone else in the store except me and the store manager saw me take something and I was intending on paying for it. I then proceeded to walk out the door without thinking and the store manager grabbed me and would not let me go. He grabbed and pulled on my pocketbook then fought with me. I was struggling with him for at least 2 minutes. I was literally fighting him off of me and he would not let go of me or my bag. He had the other store employee shut the metal gates to lock me in the store until the police showed up.
return policy
I shopped at 3:48 Pm on Saturday in Mount Joy, PA. I bought 3 packs of Krave jerky b/c a sign said it was on sale for 3.99 each. I also bought to bags of hershey kisses 2/$6.00 (earning extra care of $3.00), thee gift cards, a magnet from photo dept, etc. When I got home, my sales showed that 3 bags of kisses were scanned but I only bought 2 and that the Krave jerky was $7.29 per bag. I went back Sunday morning to get a correction. Luckily the sales manager was there. She explained that the company policy is that the sale items starting on Sunday have to have the sales price hung by 4 PM on Saturday and deduced that I saw the sale price that was hung but wasn't charged the sales price. She also explained that the new company policy doesn't allow the employees to make refunds when prices ring up wrong. She had to get a calculator out to figure out the difference and was only able to give me the refund in Extracare bucks. I was fine with this since I shop there weekly. I decided to shop right then since it was Sunday and a new flyer of sales had just started. I purchased shampoo and 4 bags of candy on sale. My fault for not looking at the sales receipt. Kitkats and hershey nuggets were 2 for $6 but I was charged full price of 4.79 and 4.99. At this point, I am closer to the CVS in Elizabethtown, PA (five miles aways) so I attempt go there for the correction. I'm told that since I used Extra Care bucks, which scan as a coupon, that I am only entitled to the difference in the scanned price minus the "coupon". I explain that I didn't use any "coupons" but that my $14 refund was issued as Extra care Bucks and when applied to the receipt, shows up as a coupon. They know this b/c they can see the "coupon" description clearly printed at the end of the receipt. The cashier was insistent that I would only receive $1.36 back on two bags of candy that was worth almost $10. I put the stuff back in the bag and left to go directly to the Mount Joy CVS. Again, thank goodness for the manager who remembered me from a half an hour before. After another 15 minutes, she offered me the option of another extra care refund or a gift card. I opted for the gift card this time since the problems with Extra care bucks. I understand there are people who try to scam the system and pull one over on stores but these policies shouldn't make an honest customer feel like a criminal. The cashier at the Mount Joy store acted inconvenienced and obviously bothered that I had returned a second time. The cashier at the Elizabethtown store was just condescending and couldn't have cared less that I was overcharged. It took the manager to make things right. I thank her again for her patience and dedication to make things right. Without her and left to deal with just the cashiers, I truly believe I would be through with CVS.

Read full review of CVSpharmacy staff rude and refusal to use restroom
I stopped in at the CVS on 6164 arlington boulevard in falls church sunday Dec 9th around 4:30pm. I stop in here regularly as it is close to my house and for the most part the staff is really friendly (front cashiers). Occasionally I use the restroom but not often as I don't prefer public utilities. I asked the man working in the pharmacy for the key code and he gave me a 4 digit number. Once I tried the number the alarm went off and the guy came around and reset the lock and told me that they don't actually have a public restroom. He was quite smug and rude about it so I was a bit thrown off. Especially since I have used the restroom in this location before and I knew he was just being an [censored]. And also in Virginia I have heard it is required by law to have public restrooms. I grabbed what I came for, checked out, and put my items in my car. I then came back to video tape the gentleman in question so I could report it to you. Nobody likes using public restrooms but when someone goes out of their way to screw with your customers I figured someone should know. What you do with it is no concern of mine, I doubt I'll be back to your store again.
rude employees / pharmacy
I visited the pharmacy on 12/02/18 @ 1108, at the location of 1706 US Highway 1. I was assisted by two of the rudest people I have ever encountered at CVS. Tammy, who initially assisted me became irritated when I asked why I had to drive around and get at the end of a 5 car line, when I am the customer being served. Tammy proceeded to roll her eyes and...
