cashier/ passport service
I got a passport picture and I tired to use the coupon that was online for $2.00 off and the lady that took my picture was my cashier told me I couldn't use the coupon I had to print it out but clearly on the coupon it says show the bar so it can be scanned or type it the code she was very rude and didn't even ask me if I had a extra care card I clearly can read and know what the coupon said before I presented it to her
pharmacy
I dropped off my prescription of 5mg Oxycodene to the CVS Pharmacy to be informed by the Pharmacy Tech (An odd young man who looked like a security guard with a walkie talkie on hos waist, not a Pharmacy employee) that my insurance would cover 10 pills every 5 days and I would need to call in for a refill subsequently. I forgot I was going out of town for work and that in 5 days I would not be available, so I called the Pharmacy to see if I could just pick up the remainder of my script and pay in cash instead. After explaining my situation to the tech who answered (she seemed very confused) and put me on hold abruptly, the female Pharmacist got one the line speaking in a very harsh manner seemingly annoyed she even had to speak to me. She told me the script was "One and done!" and I forfeited the remainder of my pills by going through insurance and I would need to get another script. So, instead of understanding how her employee screwed up royally in explaining the procedure to me or the fact he himself didn't even understand the rules for Narcotics in the first place to help me properly, she maintained her nasty disposition and basically told me I was [censor]! In todays world, I totally understand the need for rules for Narcotics. However, the fact that majority of workers treat everyone as an addict and assume they are abusing the substance is a disgrace. I have had numerous experiences with CVS Pharmacy Technicians and their lack of proper knowledge regarding medication laws and insurance guidelines. I am completely sick of the ignorance of these employees and will never fill another prescription at CVS! This complaint pertains to the CVS in Springfield, PA with the address of 795 Baltimore Pike, Store #2582. Now, not only is it a holiday weekend and I will have no chance of reaching my doctor to rectify the staffs screw up, but I will also be without my pain medication for the timeframe I am out of town in addition to being inconvenienced when I return by having to drive back and forth to pick up another prescription for the remainder of the month. Once again CVS, thanks for hiring rude employees that are improperly trained to do their job correctly!
service
I made a purchase on Tuesday March 27 but I was not pleased with the item so I returned the next day for refund and the cashier told me to swap my card for the refund and I did and today when I check my account I saw that cvs took any additional money instead of putting back in my account so I went back to the store to talk to someone about the problem but instead the head cashier and another cashier talked to me rudely and even said they would call the cops on me because of the hijab on my head I feel like I am being harassed because of my belief and the way I dress and they refused to give me my money even through I should them my receipt and my account
medication approval - haldol injection
I was following up with my brothers medication-specifically for his haldol injection. He can gone through a mental crisis that required police involvement, ambulance service, etc. For him, it's crucial and important for him to get his medication at the appropriate time. Per discharge, one of the medications he was required to take was the haldol injection monthly. I've been calling CVS pharmacy to follow up with the medication and to ensure that he gets the medication approved at the appropriate time. I called out 10 days in advance before his injection due date. After calling several times with the pharmacists at cvs Vallejo gateway plaza, they were not able to get the medication. CVS pharmacy gateway plaza had one whole month to send in the tar request. They only submitted the tar request (1st time) after I inquired about the medication.
After multiple phone calls to CVS pharmacy, they stated that medical had disapproved the tar request. They never mention that the tar request was rejected because CVS failed to provide all the information.
I was able to contact Natalie, a LVN, at Napa mental health clinic. Together, we have been working on this task and contacting pharmacy to ensure they had all the information. It's been a long three week process to get this medication approved.
Also, when I talked to Cherry Cabrera, a pharmacist, she stated to me that the TAR requests were at the bottom of their list and that she was the only pharmacist that can access the medi cal system. Hearing this, I was upset. My family and I have been through a lot in trying to take care of my brother and making sure he got the appropriate care he deserve as well as preventing him to have another crisis.
If this type of service is being done to me, I can't imagine what other people are going through. To be treated this way and to say that tar requests are on the bottom of the list... is unacceptable. I understand if it's a medication for acid reflux or for bowel care. However, this is a psych medication that would aid in my brothers well being and his peace of mind.
Also, I repeatedly told the pharmacists to call me in regards to the tar updates. I have not received any phone call from them to let me know that they're missing information or that he got denied. I had to initiate a daily phone call to make sure that their doing their job and actually sending in these tar requests.
At the end, Natalie the LVN at Napa mental health clinic, contacted family doctor to send in the tar request. It took two days for this to get approved.
It is a big issue that your pharmacists does not know how to submit a tar request. They need better training as well as understand patients and family frustration.
customer service
Imagine going to CVS and picking up your medicine and they hand you the wrong medcine? Yes well that happened to me. I went into the drive thru to pick up my child's medicine. The outside of the bag had my child's name and all the correct information on it but the actual medicine was a server medicine that children should never take (pain pills) seriously? I went back to the cvs when I realized it was wrong and nobody had any answeres. I was livid and flipping out demanding to speak to management. I knew the name of the girl who prepared the medicine and took pictures of all
The evidence. I've contacted corporate several times and have yet to receive any contact back! Cvs keeps telling me
To contact them yet nobody ever calls me back. This is not ok! No way! Not even an apology from anyone either. They all looked clueless. How does this even happen? And how is someone who makes a mistake like this even employed still. Imagine if something were to happen to someone else who didn't notice like I did?
pharmacy washington st taunton mass
the pharmacist with the black curly hair has to be the rudest person I have ever came across.I have been going to that pharmacy since it opened forever ago and never had a problem and since she came along there has been nothing but problems. 5 hours to wait for my fill it. I recently had to fill a rx and she told because that because Feb had 28 days she could not fill it and I would have to wait till 30days. I went to another pharmacy and they had no problem. I gave her many chances and it never got any better and I asked a pharmacy tech if it was just me and she said : no it was a few people she does this too . This pharmacistt never smiles and it so rude and I dread going there, so I took my business elsewhere. I don't need to be treated like that when it comes to my health and be mistreated out by someone who doesn't know me, but knows I take pain meds for my chronic pain meds for my chronic pain meds for my migraines, I am not a drug addict. let this woman live a day in my shoes and see hw she likes to live in pain. Well CVS you list all my business because of a Pharmasist manager ( Who I don't know how she got that job anyways). I did just talked about this on social media and a lot of people agreed with me and they also left because of her too..
opioid medication
My doctor wrote my rx for morphine and Dilaudud. I have been on for years. First I'm told the New rules won't affect me. Then they sent me in withdrawals holding my medication over a week for no reason. Now they changed my dosage from 8mg to 4 mg Dilaudud and only gave me 15 days of morphine without telling me. THIS will cause me to run out early. I want the correct amount now. How dare you change my doctor rx.
phone notifications
I have no ideal whose bright idea it was to add the first three letters of the medication in question to your notifications but I don't like it one bit and see no necessity for it. I have also been bombarded with call about a PRN med (it you even know what that means to tell me I could refill it. PRN = take when needed. I will refill this medication when it is needed. I will be looking for a new pharmacy. I have come to expect more from you. Why was there no notification to your customers to let them know the change as being made and the reason for it. Shame on you
pharmacist refused to fill prescription
3/20/2018 store #0781 Upper Front St. Binghamton, NY 13901
John Heatherman 04/02/1955 is the patient.
Prescription is Methadone.
Pharmacist is Jordan Tinder.
Patient has been prescribed this medication for many years for pain. Prescription is not abused. Physician explained all of this to the pharmacist, but the pharmacist refused to fill the prescription because she said she felt uncomfortable filling it.
Is the patient supposed to go cold turkey without his pain medication? Also, the physician said the pharmacist got into a heated argument with him.
In the end, the physician sent the prescription to another pharmacy that does not accept both of the patient's insurances, so he will need to pay out of pocket.

My name is Debbie Heatherman. Patient's Wife.
It shows in your own posting that the patient has 0 refills left. Being that this is a narcotic pain killer it is intended that before more is prescribed or any prescription is filled it would be required that the patient would need to make another appointment with their normal doctor to determine whether or not another prescription would be required.
incorrect filing of prescription
On 03/11/2018 I was diagnosed with Shortness of breath and Bronchospasm with Bronchitis, acute. My Dr. prescribed albuterol and an inhalational spacing device along with other medication. I was told that the albuterol would cost 45.00 when picking it up. Nothing was mentioned about the spacer. I left the store and a few hours later I looked into my medications because it was time to take them. There was no spacer so I called. the young lady the answered the phone advised me that they did not give it to my because it would be $27.00. I told her that did not matter to me and that the Dr stated to use it. She offered to get it ready for me to pick up. Never offered to deliver it though. I was to sick to make the return trip. By Weds. 03/14/2018 I was not getting better and returned to the Dr. My bronchitis had now turned into pneumonia. The sold me a spacer because I advised I did not get one from you. I had to take 2 more days off work, pay for another Dr visit and I am sure that I would have be feeling better if I had the correct equipment that my Dr ordered.
pharmacist
The pharmacist, Jathaniel B Easterling in CVS in Forest Ms is horrible. He is rude. He does not welcome you and he have you waiting without addressing you as being there. I was the only person there and he called someone from the store part to go to the pharmacy to check me out. He questioned my medicine which wasn't his job. He went as far as to ask details about why I needed it. I am really considering changing pharmacies because of him. This needs to be addressed. The best pharmacist there is Paul. The other guy, Jathaniel B Easterling, is awful. I have been going to CVS for years but this guy needs a lesson in customer service and professionalism.
unethical pharmacist interaction
My phone was disconnected from my pharmacist (Danny) as I was on the way to drop off my prescription to be overridden by my on-call doctor. When I arrived the tech at the window (Russ) told me I had to wait to talk to the pharmacist because I hung up on him. I was prepared to explain how the call failed but the pharmacist, Danny never came to the window. Danny proceeded to tell my doctor that I cursed the staff out. My on-call doctor would not let me explain the false behavior and told me I could not talk on the topic and it would be charted as so. I am confused as to how the claim from the pharmacist changed from "I hung up on him" to "I cursed them out".
I am FURIOUS! He was upset with a situation and took it out on me and my medical records. Playback the tapes of our conversation and there will not be one curse word. My real doctor was informed of the situation and confirmed that that is not like me or the rest of my family that he has been treating for 10 years. My doctor is also unhappy with the way the staff treated and accused me in this situation. This Danny pharmacist at 3717 Hampton Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23508 is a very unprofessional, unethical, and a disgrace to the CVS name. I work in customer service as well and I know that cursing someone out is not the answer to any problem. So being falsely accused of something I did not do and having it almost directly affect my medical records is downright cruel. This CVS used to be a campus hot spot for me and my friends. But after the amount of disrespect and lying that this pharmacist has done, I will not be going anytime soon. This pharmacist, lying to doctors, falsely accusing patients/customers is NOT the type of person I would want representing my corporate pharmacy. CVS, you have a very livid former customer that will continue to spread the word to deter my friends and family from going to such an unethical pharmacist. I really hope that something will be done about this situation and I will be informed when it does.
goodrx gold prescription charge.
I was charged $49.36 for RX. 8027200 02 at pharmacy 17677 on 3/10/2018. I expressed disbelief because I had a Goodrx gold card. The pharmacist, laura, called and confirmed the cost so I paid. She said that I could get an adjustment with proof within 14 days.
Today, I spoke to Crystal, a rep at Goodrx, who tried to reach the pharmacist about the discrepancy. No luck. I took evidence to the store that correct cost is 31.97. The pharmacist today, Uzma, declined to help me telling me to come back tomorrow even though I told her I pay cab fare each trip. I have spent hours of my time and energy trying to get this fixed. Now I want a refund of 49.36 plus $12.00 in travel costs. 61.36.
Thank you for your prompt resolution.
discount on product not found by cashier
Hello CVS,
This is certainly not the first time I have a discount loaded on my app and the cashier can't see it on her screen. I should have mentioned this before but I'm sure I'm not the first patron with this issue. This time I had a 40% off on my app that you sent me on my email.
I can send you the 40% discount but you may be able to see it in my account.
Thank you,
Robert Devane

pharmacy
This cvs pharmacy is incompetent and careless, meaning they could care less if you get medications you need or not. (store #: 8836, address: 1631 s melrose drive, vista, ca) I have four prescriptions that I need monthly, they are all refills, which should be simple. I requested the refills, and was told there weren't any, even though there were on all of them. Thankfully, my doctor was willing to call them in again, although it shouldn't have been necessary. I got a text saying they were ready, and when I got there only one of four had been filled. I got blank stares about the other three, like I hadn't been corresponding with them about it. They said they didn't have the other refills and i'd have to call the doctor, again. This was on a friday at 5pm, so I had to wait till monday. I called the doctor again and she sent them again. She emailed me the confirmation so I know for a fact they were sent twice, nevermind they all had refills on them and none of this should have been needed. Somehow two got sent to the right pharmacy and one got sent to another cvs. So more than a week later than I needed them, I had 3 of 4 medications. It took 3 more calls from me to get it filled. No one at cvs ever lifted a finger to help (no calls or faxes to the doctor, no calling me to update me... Apparently they have too many customers to be able to call them. This is seriously what they told me). I finally go to pick up the fourth medication, and they refuse to give it to me because it's a "mandatory consult" with the pharmacist. It's a refill, I have no questions, they have some incorrect flag about an allergy in their system completely out of left field. Again, it's a refill, i'm not allergic to it. I had called 30 minutes prior making sure i'd have no issues picking it up, and was assured it was ready for me, yet when I got there, the pharmacist wasn't there. I was unable to get the medication, again. I called the next day to speak with the pharmacist and explain it is a refill, i've been without it for 10 days now, and someone incorrectly entered something about an allergy. I assured her i'm not allergic. I wanted to have a family member get it for me since I was going to be working late. She said I still could not get the medication without consulting the pharmacist face to face myself, that no one else could pick it up for me and she would have to be there. I think they are making up rules as they go. On what planet do I have to go in myself? What if I was sick in bed and couldn't get there? When I finally got the medication 2weeks late, the "mandatory pharmacist consult" included her scanning her badge. She didn't say one word to me, or check my id to even verify it was me! These people are causing harm to patients who need medications. If a doctor warrants a medication necessary, the pharmacy should not have this absolute power to withold it for no legitimate reason. If they aren't willing to fill it, they should allow another pharmacy to do it. I did not have that option because once they had filled it, then refused to give it to me, it had gone through my insurance and I couldn't get it elsewhere. They had absolute power to withold a necessary medicine from me, which they did, and, when I was there, they were pulling the same thing with another patient. Refusing also to give him his meds because he needed a "mandatory consult." this is wrong, they are wrong. I hope someone does something. I will never go to another cvs again.
unethical behavior/very rude
Good afternoon, I am a very frequent customer and i have always received excellent service however on March 7, 2018 I went in with my two kids.My youngest had an upset stomach and my intention was to purchase children's pepto bismol. The bad service started with the pharmacist I patiently stood in line to ask a question and when she walked over to me she did not even let me fully complete my question and cut me off and walked away. My oldest had grabbed a bouncy ball and yes he bounced it while I was very frustrated looking for the right pepto for my youngest that the pharmacists failed to help with, when I heard someone very rudely and plain ugly say "Stop bouncing that ball!" and walked away i said "Excuse me, what did you just yell out at my son" and again with attitude says i told him to stop bouncing the ball, i told her that if there was a problem she needs to adress the parent especially since i was standing next to him!, she kept talking back to me and with a horrible attitude i asked her for her position she said I am a manager smirked and walked away I really hope you check the cameras so you see her behavior. It is unaceptable! I understand COMPLETELY that my son shouldnt have been bouncing the ball and i wouldnt have had a problem if her tone and words would of been different such as "can you please not bounce the ball, or maam can you please talk to your son ... I went to the register Velam checked me out who by the way was the sweetest person and she told me that the rude lady was the night manager Jerry.
online ordering
I tried to placed an order for some cologne on 03/07/2018. I entered my debit card information and tried to submit my order, but received an error message that said the card I selected for my order could not be authorized for payment. The error message said to choose a different card. I knew I had enough money in my bank to cover the transaction and when I checked my bank balance, I saw where cvs had deducted the money from my checking account! The error message said my card could not be authorized but the charge was posted to my account! I tried to call customer service and got the excuse that the charge was "pending" and might stay that way for several days! The representative wanted to place my order again, and I said no, the charge has already posted to my bank, and to cancel the order. I called my bank and they told me the charge may stay on my account for up to 3 days. My debit card obviously okay, otherwise the charge would have been rejected accordiing to my bank! I don't understand how cvs can do business this way. I will never order online with cvs again. I am very disappointed.
lack of notification to parent that they don’t have tamiflu liquid in stock
My 7 year old Autistic Child has the Flu and is very sick after rushing her to the doctor today I get a message her prescriptions are ready. I pick up her medications and her Tamiflu is missing I call back and was informed that the prescription was put on hold because they are having a hard time getting the liquid Tamiflu. Don't you think this is something you should call and inform the patients mother about. No they get the prescription put it on hold and say nothing which is a major error on their part. They said nothing to me the flu isn't something to play with especially when the patient is an asthmatic on top of it. This pharmacy has gone down hill CVS seems to care more about the amount of prescriptions they fill then they do about individual patient care.
negligent handling of prescribed medications
On January 29, 2018, I, Darvis Johnson escorted my fully disabled wife Charlotte M. Johnson to Southwest Medical for one last visit to see Dr. AAhmad. She was granted one last visit to her primary doctor to get refills of any needed medications. Southwest Medical no longer accepts Medicaid so my wife was dropped as a client. However, the supervisor granted one last visit. We called the CVS pharmacy here in Pahrump to have here oral iron sulfate cups refilled. Upon them being filled they called me to come and pick them up. When I arrived I was told there may have been a mistake with the quantity, so come back in a day and everything would be straight. Don't know where everything went in the computer but I saw the script refilled and my wife's name on the bag. Anyhow no prescription on file but they want to contact old primary doctor for the old rx number to refill the medication. This is so very frustrating and causes anxiety upon my wife who has a history of seizures and they know this. They refill her seizure medications . This needs to be looked into and investigated thoroughly.
pharmacist was rude
4040 North 19th Avenue Phoenix, AZ [protected] Store #5778.
02/25/2018 - After spending the entire afternoon in one of the Phoenix Area Hospital ER's, we were discharged just before 6:00 pm (When most of the Pharmacies close . I found a 24 hour location. I dropped my wife off at home (The patient) and went to the CVS Location. I was waiting in line almost 30 minutes (1 Person was already at the drop off counter when I arrived, I was next) before someone came to take my prescription. I let them know that I would be waiting for the prescription. Without looking at it or me, he said it would take 2 hours or so. I asked him if this is correct, he said it would not be done sooner. He finally looked at the prescription and said, "Oh this is over the counter". At this point I was furious, the question I asked him twice, could have been handled had he actually looked at it. I took the prescription back and went to find it. I returned to the counter (waited another 5 minutes (No one was in line this time) ) I asked if he could tell me where to look and again without looking up, he said they don't carry it. He came around the counter to see if they had anything and I had reached my limit, and started to walk away, telling him I would be filing a complaint with CVS. He challenged me to try, and I brought up bring lawyers were next and he threw me out of the store.
