wrong prescription
The CVS Pharmacy at Pismo Beach, CA gave me a generic medicine instead of what was written Vicodin ES- without any employee giving/asking information if I like generic or the brand name! This is a deliberate and blatant error that CVS always does all the time no matter where the location is! It seems like they have a horrendous customer service. They have to present to customers a copy of the FDA and state law regarding non-refundable pharmacy transactions so customers will know if the pharmacy has the right to substitute medicines without any knowledge of the customer nor their doctors giving the prescription.
arrogant and disrespectful assistant manager
My first encounter with Glen James when I was outside CVS and he needed a cart; therefore he grabbed it out of my hand promising to return it after he was done. I couldn't believe that he would do that to a customer. I contacted CVS headquarters, and they had a woman contact me. She told me that she had a myriad of complaints against this man; she went on...

I had made a complaint about the way management handles things at my job today along with a few other made complaints and we met with the head of HR about it later that day we were terminated cause we stood up for what's right we may not even get paid for the vacation time we've earned of the course of the employment .. I think its so very wrong that they froun on there employees stating a fact there's something wrong .. I was told along with the other don't bother filing for unemployment cause we will refuse it.
I was recently fired for this so called coupon fraud! Needless to say this seems to be a huge issue with this company. I plan on getting a lawyer and bring this issue to light. This is wrong! I did nothing wrong. I did what tons and tons of customers do, why is it so wrong for me! I used my mother extra care card, she gave me her quarterly extra bucks so that I could buy formula, diapers, or whatever I needed at the time. Money is tight everywhere and I think that if this is such a BIG problem, rather than firing a handful of people at one time they should correct the problem at a company level. I knew this was not just the case for my area and like I said I plan on teaming up with the people that have recently been terminated and fighting this. I was bullied into signing something saying that I owe them $250.00. While that does not seem like much, it is to a mother of two without and income. I fiance also works for CVS and I fear he will be the next to go, just because he is my fiance. We both worked really hard for this company and I have been doing nothing, but crying and sleeping since this has happened to me! This is WRONG! I cannot watch it go on any longer!
I was fired after other people complained about the management at my store in Texas. They fired seven of us at one time, and blamed it on various things. They told me that I was too lenient with coupons, and told me I had to pay back $1000 for coupon fraud. They liked me well enough up till the day they fired me, as I was consistently asked to work overtime, and worked about five hours past the end of my shift the day before because they needed me and I was a really good worker.
shortage of perscription drug
Had surgery and have been on norco for awhile the last perscription filled I always count my pills were 5 short, I chalked it up to a mistake and let it go, I just got back from refilling again and wouldnt you know it it was short 5 pills again I called the pharmacy and they told mee to come in and they gave me the 5 pills. If I had not counted them the person counting them would have gotton away with it.I know how expensive these pills are and are in big demand on the street I just hope the phamacist filling these perscription is not stealing them and selling them on the black market.

just had a prescription filled at cvs in katy tx. vicoproven. walked out the door got in my car and found that i was 8 pills short out of forty. went back in to complaint and was was told they weren't going to help. that they dont make mistakes. going back to walgreens. they have shorted me a couple of times over the years but were always there to correct the problem!
Couldn't have said it better.
personal information stolen
Someone stole my personal information and used the information to pick up my prescriptions. This all happened within 1/2 hour. CVS accused me of attempting to pick my prescriptions up twice. I forced them to review the video tapes and would not leave the store until they made it right. The manager was belligerent, the pharmacist was rude and the person working the register was an idiot.
I spoke with a pharmacist at Giant Eagle after the incident, he said CVS has problems like this all the time. He was a former employee, and left because of the constant fraud. He stated he was concerned about losing his license working for a poorly managed company.
I filed a complaint with the company, a "manager" called me two days later and again accused me of fraud. She spoke over me, and sounded like she was not bereft to the situation. In short, Never shop at CVS. I will never go back in the store.
good riddance! cvs dose not need customers like you
terrible customer service
I would like to relate my experience during a recent visit to one of your stores. I went into the store and picked out the items I wished to purchase and headed up to the cashier. As I approached the counter I noticed the man behind the counter was texting on his cell phone. When I got up to the counter he never looked up from his phone so I said "Hello"!...

Very unprofressional! Seems the employees outside of the pharmacy dept. Are so on top of their game and profressional because of the complete lack of effort made by the pharmacy. How about checking a computer screen to see what should be filled instead of having my 80 year old grandfather call his doctor just to ask "what medicine do I take?" some people have disabilities and all we need from you is a simple prescription and u can keep the stink face and ignorant slang to urself. Seems we owe you the apology cause u had to attempt to do ur job! Poor thing!

WOW. My folks CVS pharmacy couldn't be better. They call every month when it's time for a refill and even remind them when a new prescription is due. Gives the folks plenty of time to see the Dr if necessary. It must be the individual stores. I get my prescriptions at Walgreens and haven't had any problems so far. Unless it's a new scrip, I just refill by mail.
wait time
I had to wait 30 minutes in the drive through pharmacy today. There was only one car in line ahead of me. I ask myself if they were filling the man's prescription while he waited? If so, this in unexceptable and I'm quite sure the two vehicles behind me felt the same. If a prescription is not ready when the customer arrives to pick it up why wouldn't the pharmacist tell them to return at a later time. Please help me to understand.

CVS in Deer Park New York drive through every single time I come here there's always at least a 30 minute wait 4 cars or less today right now I'm sitting 45 minutes with 4 cars ahead of me still waiting!
A lot of the time, the customer in the car that is holding up the drive-thru refuses to move until their prescription is ready... I work at a pharmacy where the technician has to take care of the drive-thru, the inside register area, the drop off area and also type of the presription... the most help we have is maybe two technicians and one pharmacist on duty at a time...there is usually only a 3 hour overlap where there are three employees (including the pharmacist) at one time on duty...please have patience when you expect drive-thru service...the person waiting on you is also working on at least 2 other scenerios at the same time...
extreamly poor customer service
I have been going to thee cvs pharmacy on 3401 northeside pkwy in atlanta, georgia for thee past 7 monthes. They've marked up their prices way too high. Obviously they're gouging customers to make a profit. Sundown brand Omega 3-6-9 vitamins cost $5 more than the same product down the street at the Shop Rite. Dr Sholl's brand heel cups are $4 more at the CVS compared to the Shop Rite and Men's Multivitamins are $2 more at the CVS compared to the Shop Rite. Plus you need to be extra careful. Sometimes their prices marked under the item at the shelf has a higher price at the cash register. If you are able to catch the higher price at the register, be sure to tell the cashier, show them what it says on the shelf and they'll fix the price at the register, if you don't they'll make an extra buck off of you. If I avoided this store and went to the Shop-Rite, I could have saved $11. When I was at this store I was thinking that I might only be spending around $40. Instead the total was $50 for those 3 items. I've had the last straw with this store and will avoid it at all costs from now on.
Really?
Welcome to America! You live in a country based on capitalism. This means they have a choice to sell what they wan't (legal) for the price they want. You, also living in a capitalist society, have the right to purchase somewhere else (like Rite Aid down the street). It is obvious that they are offering you something (convienance) extra for your money or you would have just gone to the other store in the first place. What's next, will you complain that they charge more than the grocery store? Seriously man, complain about something real!
CVS is probably thinking, "Good riddance."
Then buy your items at Shop Rite. There, problem solved.
nasty nasty clerk
After years of experience not only shopping at CVS but being a full-time pharmacist for 4 years at CVS I can only positively reflect on most experiences with the company. But in this particular instance, I couldn't have remembered any experience more unpleasant as the one I had with your cashier named Stephanie. As I approached the counter to pay, I...

I always come to cvs to fill prescriptions and to shop. Since 1/28/11 maxine and jodyanne have been very disrespectful to me. I came in teh store on 1/28/11 to fill a prescription. Their was a man infront of me, I step to the side and asked maxine if I needed to have my photo i. D. Or my insurance card. She began t be very disrespectful towads me. So I began to treat her with the same disrespect. The mager was called I told him what happened, we spoke for several minutes about the situation. Finally he told maxine to fill my prescription I took it and left. Then on 2/28/11 I went in the pharmacy to fill the same 3 prescriptions. I had just spoke to maxine on th phone she told me to come in that it would be ready. When I got there maxine and jodyanne acted as if they had no idea what I was talking about and told me I did not have any prescriptions to be picked up. Then on 3/9/11 I went in to the store again I just left from my dr's office and went to get my medicine, I waited in line and when I got to the counter maxine called jodyanne and told her that she did not want to help me and asked if she could deal with me while she dealt with the other customer. Jodyanne came over and took my prescription and then told me that she would not fill it. I asked her why is it not in and when would she be able to fill it for me. She said she could fill it for me in 15 minutes if she wanted to but she would not. So basicaly she had the prescription I needed and refused to give it to me. Then I told her to call her manager the manager 'sam " came over and did nothing about the situation he told me to go to another pharmacy. And honestly now I hope they all get penalized for the way they treat their customers. Thats why I am trying to reach out to someone to help me because I fell I am being treated very unfairly and something needs to be done.
"so i began to treat her with the same disrespect"
Really now? And you expect to get your way treating people with disrespect?
Grow up.
racism
They seem to find away to fire every black employee, until they have none working there. Should really be investigated.

pharmacy employees conduct
I was just discharged from a Knee Replacement Surgery and given two prescription Medications. Out of the hospital I was able to take the prescriptions to the CVS Pharmacy desk, not realizing that both proscription medications are written on separate 8 X 11 size sheets. Since I am regular customer of the pharmacy I called the next day to ask if it is possible for me to fax the prescription form for the medication, since I have difficulty walking with the crutches and no car, so that it will be ready when I go and present them the hard original copy. That was rudely denied on the phone with an explanation that it will be against the law, they will need the original. I called again few hours later explaining the situation, and it was agreed that the med's will be ready but I need to bring the Hard original copy with me. No problem I did and by limping and hopping I took myself to the pharmacy and presented the hard copy, and I was willing to wait for my tern and get the medication. My tern came and went, and I noticed that they are helping other costumers. Then I asked them what am I waiting for still standing there on my crutches, "We are working on them be patient". In the mean time my right knee is getting excruciatingly painful. This entire customer service pharmacist relationship was escalating when on the other side of the pharmacy another pharmacist started yelling and absolutely out of control screaming that I have to wait. I had done my best myself for little efficiency, called them before hand to explain what my situation is, then brought the hard copy of the prescription and waited to be helped, and this turned out to be a yelling match, the materials were just thrown at me, and without even asking them I was told that I can go to another pharmacy where they do better serve customers and even deliver medications. This is from a "PHARMACY" that pretend and advertise that the customer is very valued and important, and that their Pharmacy Employees will do their best to serve US under any circumstances. This was the most rude, unprofessional & disrespectful experience I have ever had from a company that has medical orientation and that they are always dealing with patience with medical needs.
Who said that it is OK for me to insult others, ?where do you get your information, I did't insult any one dear, what happened here is that I was provoked intentionally and all was taken totally out of context, and this turned out to be nothing but malicious gossip. I don't insult anyone one who controls a situation no matter how it is interpreted. What happened here was taken way too far that I wouldn't just seat on it and bend my head. She knows who she is, and working in a place like she does does does not tolerate the behavior of supposedly pretending to conduct herself well. I am not sure who responded what but in some of the cases the statements were totally out of line and misunderstood.
Yea it is yours - so you go and mess it up just because you can - boy you boy, ...
Why don't you get off the page you ### when something is not related to you or no one is talking to you, dead ###, why don't you FRY there in cathedral city little more your peanut size brain, What kind of stuff?, whatever it is you can't make sense of it obviously you are another shallow jerk who needs explanations for any joke that goes your way. What kind of freaky stuff do you do to flies? Headless? Gutless? My favorite part is where the troll can't spell "turn" correctly, but nails a two-dollar word like "excruciatingly."
customer service - 90 refund policy
"HOW IT WORKS" - Classified Vehicle Solutions (CVS) claims to provide a "unique" advertisement platform to get your vehicle sold. When you sign up you have "options" in purchasing a "Protection Plan". Those "Protection Plans" and their lousy Customer Service is the foundation of my complaint. Based on first hand knowledge and my experience on having engaged their services you will soon discover that the "Protection Plan" is a legal document that has been carefully crafted and worded with stringent Terms and Conditions that work against the Buyer and heavily favors the Vendor. Most will need a para legally to comply; however, even if you successfully abide by all of their Terms and Conditions, which I did they DID NOT honor their own 90 Guarantee Refund Policy. In the beginning their customer service is great. Why? Well, they want your money. You'll even hear from a live human being who has been trained in the art of marketing and skills of selling you on how "great" and "safe" it will be in using their service. Regrettably, I bought into that hook, line and sinker. DON"T DO IT! Once they have your money, you'll never hear from them again. Throughout the 90 day "sell" period they don't even suggest you revise your selling price. Now for $300; $400; or $500 don't you think one should get a bit more attention in both "sales" and "service" ?
Please note: if you make one error in addressing their Terms and Conditions for the 90-Day Guarantee Refund, you can kiss your money goodbye. Fortunately, that did not happen in my case. However, even IF you do comply with all the ### they don't honor their own Terms and Conditions. To get back my "90-Day Guarantee" I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. Now bear in mind you can't do that all major credit card providers will not act on a disputed item until you have given a vendor 30 days to respond. Plus you have to prove with documentation your case, which I did 30 days later along with 17 pages of copy this and copy that. Within that time period I called their Customer Service number every 5 to 7 days; plus, I sent emails demanding my 90-Day Guarantee Refund. Didn't hear a word; except, for 1 call after 15 days. Regrettably, I wasn't home, they left a brief message. It wasn't until they read my complaint on a blog and got a call from the bank that the the charge was being reversed to honor the 90 Day Guarantee Refund that I got another call from John Roberts. He insisted on sending me a refund check and requested I allow the credit card charge to stand. Why? Who knows, the bank already corrected and honored the problem. To complicate matters further they sent me the check anyways, which created a NICE problem. For all the slop and crap I went through I decided to back charge them $100. Hence, I had to mail back $300 of their money, which wasn't held up for 90-Days!
CONCLUSION & SUMMARY: they don't honor their own Terms and Conditions and their Customer Service STINKS!
prescription
The employees at this pharmacy are so rude! When i called for a refill I specifically told them i did not want generic. Then when i got there i was told the the name brand i was needing had been discontinued. They told me all they could get was generic. So i came home and called two pharmacies who said they both could get the name brand! Go figure! I refuse to use this pharmacy and i will go somewhere else where my business is appreciated.

horrible customer service
I have had difficulty with the pharmacy at 1551 E. Sunset Road, Henderson NV store #8787 in the past with shorting pills in my prescriptions, however, today was the worst. I went to pick up my prescription and the woman told me the price and I questioned her if she ran it through my other insurance because the copay is cheaper. Right away she got and attitude and was argumentative. She went to the computer and checked and came back and told me that insurance denied it. I told her that could not be, I just filled it 90 days ago. Then she told me the system froze up and she couldn't give it to me now? huh? I called my insurance company and they said they did not deny it, it is approved...what scam is this woman pulling? The insurance company gave me an 800 number for them to call...after tryiing to talk to a supervisor, I got another person and I gave her the 800 number...my husband went over there and she informed them they are too busy to call the number? What? I did not get my meds right now, but I could not believe the tech lied and said it was denied...the other woman tried to give me excuses for her behavior. They tried to make it seem like we did not know what we were talking about. The 2nd woman even said she did not hear the conversation, but the girl did not tell us what she told us? Oxymoron isn't it? I can no long trust this pharmacy, I got the feeling someone is scamming for more money. Why would I pay more money when I should not have to...but the worst was their attitudes and horrible customer service on every level...
Another problem with the CVS pharmacy at 1551 E Sunset Road, Henderson Nevada. My endocrinologist accidently sent my prescription for Byetta (diabetes medicine) electronically to this pharmacy. Because of other problems, I don't go to this one anymore, I get my prescriptions filled at the CVS at Sunset and Valle Verde. I called the pharmacy at Sunset and Valle Verde on Tuesday and told them what happened and they said they would have the pharmacy at Sunset and Whitney Ranch fax it over so they can fill it. Well, I went there today on Friday and they still had not faxed it over to the one at Valle Verde and Sunset. This is my diabetes medicine, I need it. I am so sick of the pharmacy at Sunset and Whitney Ranch playing with my health. I think I will get an attorney and see what my options are. The girl at the Valle Verde called them and they said they have been busy, too busy to fax over my prescription? Then they shouldn't be in business. I will complain to the Nevada Pharmacy board, my insurance companies, and whoever else I can. I understand CVS just does not care how they put patients in jeopardy. I am done!
disappointed
CVS pharmacy located on 3350 Forest Hill Cir, Forest Hill, Tx 76140. We met a day shift store supervisor... She is Hispanic. The lady is so MEAN ! So MEAN and very rude. My wife went to CVS to get pain medicine on the counter for her tooth pain. My 3-year-old child accidentally opened a toy. The lady threatened my wife to call the police and made her paid...

I'd stopped usin' the pharmacy in Nederland, because Diana and Chris knew nothing about customer service! I switched to the Port
Arthur store expecting BETTER service. I brought a list of 4 or 5 med's that I needed refilled. When I came back later they had lost
the list and asked me exactly which med's I needed. I couldn't remember. They said that the Nederland store had the info and it couldn't be transferred. Meanwhile, I'm burnin' gas that I can't afford. I make 25 grand/year on disability! I drove to Nederland and
was told that PA has access to anything on Nederland's records! I feel like someone's jackin' with me. My medication is for hydro-
cephalus, bi-polar, blood pressure, diabetes, etc. Y'all can see why I'm concerned. Please help. Please discipline some of the idiots
involved!

What they said. State laws promote the use of generics to help keep healthcare costs down, and have for many decades. Most states require prescription pads that indicate that generics should be used whenever possible unless the prescriber specifically indicates a brand must be dispensed. The pharmacy would be breaking the law to do otherwise. If you want brand name, say so when you drop it off or have your doctor mark the script "brand medically necessary" for you. The onus is on you. Take responsibility for yourself and quit whining.
