In June 2022 I bought a new front loader from Game Paarl and took out additional insurance. Within the first year of using the product, water started leaking from the bottom of the machine.
I took it back to the store and was sent back being told a technician from Defy will come out to inspect and fix the issue.
The technician came out and asked me for a spring that's missing in the machine. I told him that I never opened it and there were no loose springs in the packaging. He ordered the spring and it took week to arrive.
I arranged to work from home to be available for the visit. The technician only came to my house after 5 after confirming to come earlier.
He opened the machine for the second time with my brother assisting him. My brother asked him where the spring should come in and then he realized the spring wasn't necessary. He left the spring aside and fixed the rubber that was loose which caused the leakage.
After closing the machine the technician forgot some of the parts outside the machine which he would not have noticed if my brother didn't ask him about the parts still laying on the table.
The machine was fixed and I was extremely unimpressed about the service!
Now, a year later there's a different problem with the machine and I am not interested in any technician coming out again. I took the machine back and left it at the store. I was told that Defy would contact me to discuss possible refund and it's been 2 weeks and I have not received any call or text. I've contacted multiple offices and numbers and no one can assist me.
I do not give a [censored] about a [censored]in warranty of 2 years because this thing broke twice and you send [censored]ty technicians that don't a [censored] know what they're doing. Your services [censored]in suck. Your products suck and so does the technicians. You have no freaken idea the inconvenience your product has caused me and absolutely nothing you say or do will ever make me buy your products again. I want my money back in full.

Keep pushing for a response from Defy by calling their customer service again and insist on speaking to a manager. Explain the repeated issues and your dissatisfaction clearly, and state that you are seeking a full refund due to the repeated failures and poor service. If phone calls aren’t effective, consider sending a formal complaint via email or letter, which might prompt a more official response. Include all relevant details and any proof of the issues and your interactions with their technicians.
