no more nachos or nacho cheese
I eat (or I should say used to eat) at Del Taco EVERY DAY. (Not super healthy I know, but it was good). What kept me coming in so often was the Nacho cheese (good for fry dipping) and the Del Nachos, followed by the green sauce Nachos (very good!) Slowly Del Taco has replaced all of the "edible" items they sell with pretty gross "inedible" items. You now have NO FOOD that I can even stomach the idea of eating. I finally asked today whether the Nacho cheese would be back and was told "NO". So we will be finding another place to eat (probably Jack in the Box--where they change their menu all the time but don't get rid of core faves). VERY DISAPPOINTED! YOU ARE LOSING A LOT OF BUSINESS FROM US!

As an African American male I understand that efficiency is the objective but this is completely a new low for customer service. I simply wanted 3 chicken rollers from your location off Orangethorpe and valley view and was quite clear through the intercom the quantity and flavor of my order. As I was quoted back the wrong price (for a quantity of 6) I make my way to the window to clarify that I only wanted 3 and the cashier who did not take my order kept saying “there’s tax” out of confusion. I then replied how is it $6.47 for 3 rollers if they’re each a $1 - I only want 3 rollers total and if the tax is .47 then it should be $3.47 but no way should tax be $3. Then I was met by the window service lady known as Angelina who met me with frustration shouting angrily. I asked her to repeat how many rollers were on the total because I recognized her voice from the intercom and she said ‘6’. I asked her if she could change it to 3, that’s all I want is 3 then she responds yelling at me “WHAT DO YOU WANT 6 OR 3 HURRY UP!” At this point I’ve completely lost my appetite. I’ve also recorded the encounter via dash cam. Please get rid of her before I post this video of this lousy dining experience. She literally drags your restaurant down due to her attitude and how she deals with customers that simply just want what they ordered. She literally had no right to be mad at me because I was being polite and just trying to clarify. I also wasn’t willing to pay for 3 rollers I didn’t want in the order. It’s unacceptable having people work at a company existing as long as yours has but maybe that’s time to change. Angelina should not be around people’s food or customer service PERIOD.

Went to drive thru in Anaheim next to Angeles stadium ..order my self the combo #8 and a shake and crunchy taco and 2 churros. Usually go to del taco 1 or 2 a week always drive thru always have my little ones in the car so usually always take the Drive thru..was my worst experience ever..

#2 leaving the drive thru reached to get a French fries oops they forgot the fries all that time waiting and they forgot so went back and went inside the store ask for the fries .while i was walking out heard the drive thru girl saying something in spanish to the others which was rude.(yes i do speak Spanish) Ok walked out with my french fries..all i wanted was go home before it my food cooled down..
#3 got home my churros are hard as a rock obviously not fresh they were preheated the cream was all hard crusty not fresh.

I love Del Taco. One of my favorite places to eat however we recently went to the Del Taco in Rialto, California on Riverside Avenue and it was terrible. The food was not Del Taco quality and service was also terrible. I would say lack of management might be the problem but you should know the bad side as well as the good. I am always telling my friends how good your food is but I hope none of them visit this one ...

I went to Del Taco in Mission Viejo at 9:38 a.m. on 9-25- 17 and I ordered a carne asada epic Scrambler burrito and I got something else instead not sure what it is but it has carne asada, refried beans, tomatoes and avocado sauce. this is the second time at this location this has happened. This location and other locations don't seem to get my order correct and I go to Del Taco several times a month. I'm about ready to hang Del Taco up and go somewhere else. Another complaint I have at this location is I ordered a minie shake and it tasted like water . It was a $1.00 but I expected it to taste good and without water added. I won't buy this again.

Hi my name is Jake Kelly. My friend and I went to the drive through at the del taco located at 4376 sunset blvd Los Angeles California. The employee over the intercom in the drive through was extremely rude and rushed us through our order. To make matters worse, we were given our food by the same employee who spoke rudely over the intercom and she had an extreme attitude with us! She was rude and we did not appreciate how she talked to us. And to make matters worse, we weren't even given all of the food we paid for! We didn't receive our quesadilla and our French fries! We called but it kept ringing and another time we were hung up on.. I am extremely unhappy with my visit and I would like to receive some kind of compensation for below satisfactory visit at your establishment. Have a good day.
outrageous experience and their best employee
A few months ago, I visited Del Taco on Roscoe Bl. in Panorama City, California. It was the strangest experience I have ever had I am a regular customer of Del Taco and visit more than 3 times a week. This visit was in the very early morning hours. I remember this because my son just got home from a bar and asked me to get him some food. I was alone and in my pajamas. As I pulled up a shirtless man rushed to my car and said, "There has been a shootout. The gunmen are still at large. I need you to give me a ride out of here."
I could see the guy was deranged and told him no and procxeeded to order and drive through. By the drive thru window exit were 3 men who were joined by the shirtless man. I drove up to the window and paid for my food. Then this shirtless man jumped on the hood of my car grabbed my windshield wiper to pull himself up and put his face up to my windshield and Shouted, "I guess food is more important than saving a human life."
I rolled up my window and waited for my food as this man continued to rant and rave. Then, the unimaginable happened...AS THE EMPLOYEE PREPARED MY FOOD, THIS DERANGED SHIRTLESS MAN CRAWLED THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU WINDOW.
I was frightened beyond belief. I could not see where he went inside. Just then one of the other men went to the window to see where the shirtless man went and looked in my window and seen me in my pajamas. He then tried to talk to me asking questions. I never said a word as I was too terrified to speak. I wanted to drive away but I already paid.
I was also concerned because I could not see the employee for some time and I worried about her well being...
After a while, the employee brought my food. She was such a happy girl with such a big smile..truly a beacon of light. She even asked if I wanted any hot sauce. After getting my food I drove away eventhough the other man was still trying to talk to me.
I went back sometime that week to speak to a manager. The manager was aware of the event and did not believe it to be extreme. I told her of the bravery of the employee but the manager did not seem interested in my opinion.
Just the other evening, going through the drive thru the same employee, [removed], was there. I will never forget her bright smile. She told me what happened after I left. She said the man would not leave and the police were called. She waited an hour and half with this deranged pychopath in the restaurant as she continued to serve customers before the police showed up. AN HOUR AND HALF THIS PETITE GIRL DID NOT LEAVE HER DUTIES AS YOUR DEL TACO EMPLOYEE.
I believe her bravery and calmness during this extreme situation should be commended and I request this letter of recommendation be added to her employee file.
Del Taco should be proud to have Selena Menedez on their team.

Rude service/racism
When I asked why Lorena at DelTaco location #1000 is always so rude to my wife and consistently forgets to give us items that we paid for, as well as ingredients ordered, she just said I'm sorry. I asked if it was because the color of my wife's skin. And her exact response was "Maybe." In front of a line of people and in front of her staff, and on camera. This is completely unacceptable. There is no additional commentary from myself or my wife that you are not receiving. If you watch camera footage you won't be surprised to find me in there raising my voice or saying something rude. This situation is as clear and simple as stated above and neither myself, or my wife use any type of language or attitude when asking about our problem. I gave her an opportunity to prove me wrong for what she was making so clear to us.
I will not be returning to this location and as a Human Resources representative for one of the largest employers in the US I will be sure to share my experience and disgust with blatant racism.

Manager The manager is really snobby and has attitude like he's better than people the line was long and I wanted to get a refill so I decided to get the refill before standing in line and he shut off the soda machine like I not going to pay for it very rude you could've asked prior to shutting off and after shutting off still didn't say anything until I went to the counter to ask if it's broken then let me know he had shut it off with an attitude so I got lied and pay for it also I speak some Spanish and understands him and overheard employees talking crap in Spanish very rude and unprofessional

I've been going to the same one for over 5 years. I've had another incident, but I kept my composure, it was very hard & I failed to do so when this teenage boy in the drive thru threw everything I ordered in one bag that looked over filled, so when I reach in to check form last reasons making sure everything is in there the first soft taco spilled out it wasn't wrapped up like it usually is so when I asked him to separate the order like usual when it's a bigger order, the kid looks at me like i'm bothering him, he takes the bag & comes back with 2 bags within a few seconds and when I look in it he gave me the bag that had all the spilled contents still in it. And that's when I got frustrated and said how I felt. "u have me back the bag with the spilled food, can I get a new one?" and he looked at me like I was stupid when he handed me a new brown bag. So as i'm putting everything in the new bag, i'm fussing to myself saying "I knew by the sound of his voice on the speaker that it was gonna b something wrong" and as I start to drive off he's just staring at me thru the window & said very sarcastically kinda laughing "have a nice day" so that's when everything kinda set it off. They should not be hiring these disrepectful teenagers that dont know how to handle other peoples food correctly and then look you & talk to you like your a bum, when customers have been spending money for years with you guys... And then he said he was the manager at that! Thats the 2nd teenager that gave me issues at that same establishment.

The incident last happened on September 1, 2017 and on other previous dates for about almost 2 months, we visit this store on several times because this restaurant is located down the street from where we live. I am directing the complaint to you about the amount of time it takes for them to service you by taking order I think on one ocassion it took them about 10 minutes to take my order and several times on different visits. I also need to direct the complaint also to the shift leader you have running the restaurant on one ocassion my daughter odered food and when they received their order like 15 minutes later and my daughter checked her order before leaving store and noticed there was a large frie missing and she told the shift leader about it and she and she right away accussed my daughter about lying about not getting and so she practically through the fries at her, her attitude is very poor and it seems like always every time we visit its to a point my family doesnt feel comfortable going there anymore and i wouldnt recommend it to anyone who ask us if that is a friendly or nice restaurant please i hope you can fix this problem and make that store how it use to be and who was managing it before. I don't know what's going on in the dining room of the del taco in Moore, but one of the employees told me to my face that I should not eat there because of black mold. The place should be shut down if that's the case. They said it would be down for a week and now it has been longer than that. The employee also told me that they were cleaning the dishes with floor cleaner, because the new general manager doesn't know what they're doing. I really hope that isn't true. Please look into this, because I would hate for anyone to get sick from this place I once loved.

I want to let you know that you have lost a customer. I used to love del taco but not after today. I went through the drive through and as I got to the menu to order. A guy told me I would have to wait a few minutes, which is fine so I could decide my order. After 5 minutes of waiting to order and there only being two cars in front of me (who already ordered) and seeing that there were only 3 customers inside. I felt that this was ridiculous to wait this long to order but whatever I can wait.
Then I pull forward and there are again only two cars in front of me. I sat there and waited for 21 minutes before I was able to pull up to the window to get my food. I see that there are at least 5 people working and so I don't understand how it took that long to fill an order of fish tacos, medium fries and a drink. I then ask why it took so long and the girl just says sorry and hands me my drink, food and receipt.
The only problem is that in the 21 minutes it took to fill my order, the girl couldn't figure out how to put a lid on a freaking drink so it spills all over my interior, which now smells like Pibb. I get home to try and clean it up after soaking it up with a towel I got most of the Pibb out but it still was damp. Now I am going to have to shampoo it, which is waste of time and money.
Then after all the clean up attempts, I finally get to eat my meal, without a drink and guess what? My fries are ice cold and my tacos have the smallest piece of fish in each, also ice cold and just overall disgusting.
This is ridiculous and a waste of my evening and a waste of my money. Congrats on losing a customer.

Went through the drive through. Ordered combo #5. Includes two chicken tacos, fries and a soft drink. The woman at the register window named Mercedes was very rude. I advised her she forgot my fries. She denied it. When I insisted she literally threw the fries in my bag. Didn't get my drink either, she charged me but didn't provide it. Also there was hair in my food!

I have been an avid Del Taco fan since I first encountered your restaurant. I frequented your location at 7480 W Lake Mead Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89128 for many years. I have never once been dissatisfied with the service or food quality. I recently moved and the nearest location is 280 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89107. Not only have I been met with lengthy wait times (5 total cars in the drive thru) and waited 40 minutes, the employees were rude, saying things to each other within ear shot to the note of "look at this fat white [censor]" and other disparaging comments. On top of that, orders are incomplete and missing items and I feel uncomfortable to go back. I appreciate the food you provide. Like I said, I am a fan. I want to feel safe, secure, and not be afraid to make sure my order is correct. I hope as a company you will rectify this situation.

Went to the del taco on antelope and scott as usual go there alot. Have had problems with food there before but the manager asked to give them another chance, so we did. All has been ok not great just ok. Tonight 8/21 around 5:00 went and ordered 4 del tacos spicy jack quesadilla and a tostada with no lettuce. This is a same order all the time. We get our order, minus the quesadilla, told the cashier he said you didnt ordet it. Told it was on the receipt, he said no then realized he was wrong and the quesadilla was sitting on the shelf getting cold. Got home and my tostada is made with lots of lettuce little cheese and beans. Callef the store and asked for the manager, girl said wait smd then hung up on me. So i called back they took the phone off the. Hook now im angry. I have called back at least 20 times and 45 minutes still busy. I am going to continue to call till i talk to the manager. They need to read the orders very bad service.

Alexis was listening to very very loud mexican music. I am not racist my daughter is mexican... However, I dont speak spanish so I did not understand the words of the music. Also, the music was very very loud... Alexis did not care about other customers inside only herself...

Visited Del Taco - El Cajon, CA. location and sat in the Drive thru for 25 min. finally making it to the window, I asked if my food was ready before I gave them my money and Shirley Ann said yes. Once I paid, Shirley Ann still had to scoop the fries and place my other items in the bag, I don't believe this constitutes as ready. But to top it all off I called the store to talk to the manager and no answer 619.593.4860 . I tried 2 times now and still no answer. So I called the customer hot line 949.462.9300 first I spoke to a gal which by the way was a little snippy she then passed me on to a Terry Smith a supervisor and he gave me the General Managers name Jesus Gonzales, but no corporate address. I guess Del Taco would be overwhelmed if they gave out a corporate address. It just tells me that the corporation of Del Taco does not care about service just profits. They would not provide me with other information I requested, for instance the District Managers name of who the store should be accountable too. I now understand that Del Taco in El Cajon, Ca. can operate without any Corporate standards. If they treat the public like this just think how they treat their employees. Wow, I will not be back. False advertising on advertised time listed online and at store location. The hours of operation are listed to close at 12:00 a.m. however we were denied service upon arrival at 11:38p.m. The restaurant had 22 minutes before closing time and upon arrival at the drive thru, we were simply greeted with a simple, "We are closed." No response when I tried to respond. No clarification. No lack of regard or respect as an employee. This is the second time we have come to this location seeking a good meal, and both times we have been denied service because the restaurant was "closed."
I feel this is an excuse for early closing perhaps for a slow night and poor management for allowing or not being aware of this. Regardless, it is unacceptable and I seem this as 100% false advertising on all accounts.

Employees all speak Spanish, no biggie. My complaint comes in when they talk rude about you in Spanish. I am an employee, as later two days of working there I already wanted to quit. I am a light Mexican, I do speak Spanish. Everything I did was criticised by everyone of my employees, in Spanish of course, they called me names, called me the new store b[censor], and told me that faster was better than cleaner. Not a great work environment
