There's nothing like ordering a #1 which is a Dell taco combo and getting back to work to two tacos that are stuffed with mainly lettuce, cheese, tomato and having literally a teaspoon full of meat in each taco. Oh how I love paying 7 dollars for nothing. Will not be going back to Del taco on rancho and valley in Colton again! It's a shame when you can't get what you pay for and when you call in they don't pick up the phone.
fries, medium drink & management
I placed an order for a Medium Shrimp Tacos combo, the Fries were cold when I got home, which is 5 minutes away from the location. The Drink was only carbonation it contained no flavor. I Called to speak to a manager and was placed on hold for 10 minutes when nobody came to the phone I hung up. I feel there is no sense of quality control or customer service at this location. I feel this matter should be addressed promptly.
store hours and employees
I went to Store #4780 (irvine Blvd) at 2am and was told that were closed. When I said you guys are suppose to be 24 hours if not, google says open till 3am, the girl working there told me that the manager doesn't want to pay her overtime and that since there's only few costumers, we closed at 1. I asked them why are you still here and she replied by law, we have to take a 30 minute break. I left and went back at 2:30 and she says we're closed. I asked are you not done with break, she replied we're closed for the night. She said there's no costumer again and I said than who am I? She replied back we're closed!
Not only this girl refused to serve me but also had closed the store for 2 hours prior to closing time and was sitted in the lobby with a coworker eating and laughing. Are you guys just paying people for them to be rude and refuse service?
very rude person at your drive-thru window
At approximately 10 minutes to 8 p.m. I went through your drive-thru service window on West Chandler Boulevard and 50th Street only to receive the worst service possible so bad I had to get my money back and go across the street to Wendy's where I receive outstanding service with a multi-tasking person who is able to give me the correct amount of money due prior to being told to pull up to the window and I was asked if I need a drink carrier prior to approaching their window. I have never been to a Del Taco franchise before. And as I stated just for this reason. Enclosing this complaint I have one thing to say... Build The wall!

stopped by the del taco at the 424 N 900 W in American Fork, the quickly told me in a very unfriendly voice that they don't open until 6 am, I thought that for customer convenience they were and always have been opened 24 hours, I felt that you should know that the were several other cars that were behind me and that Del Taco is losing business. I have been stopping there on my way to work for several years, I don't expect that I will or this email will be read or responded to, but customer service is a huge part of my business.
2 carne asada burrito platters
On January 18, 2018 at location# 1230 on Blue Diamond Road, Las Vegas Nv 89178. a friend and I ordered 2 carne asada burrito platters. These are the only carne asada burritos we have ever ordered that had a big scoop of beans inside. The carne asada was grissily, tough and very sparse. We were very disappointed with your food at a price of over $15. Many other Mexican food places in our area serve much better carne asada burritos. I would like a refund- credit voucher of the order to try something different. We ordered carne asada not a mixed or bean burrito. Food quality was very poor and we are not very happy. denied usage of my ebt card
On January 30th, 2017, I went to the Del Taco Restaurant at 2200 Arden Way, Sacramento, California to purchase a meal with my EBT card as this restaurant accepts EBT (Food/Cal-Fresh) pending that you must eat the food inside the restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant, I ordered a meal and after placing the order, I then gave the restaurant worker my EBT card, she began to "pretend" as if she didn't know how to process (EBT) payment for the meal that I ordered. The Del Taco worker then said to me the she didn't know how to process EBT payments in allowing customers to pay for their food (Note: there were only 3 workers and no acting supervisor was on site at this restaurant!). I had then asked the employee if she could seeking assistance from either of the other 2 workers in seeing if they could process my EBT payment for the meal that I had wanted to purchase and their response was that they didn't know how to process payment for my meal via EBT. This was not the first time that I had encountered discriminative behavior from the staff at this Del Taco location. I went to this particular restaurant twice earlier in the week and was told by other employees that they 1.) didn't know how to process EBT payments to pay for a meal ordered in the restaurant or 2.) told me that the EBT system was down.
I feel that the staff at Del Taco were biased, discriminative and were prejudiced towards me by not wanting me to pay for my meal via EBT amid the fact the their is a banner posted at the store stating that the restaurant accepts EBT pending that any food purchased at this restaurant must be eaten inside the store. The staff intentionally refused to honor and process my EBT card for the simple purpose of paying for my meal via EBT (Food/Cal-Fresh). It does not make sense to hire an employee at this restaurant without proper training on how to process EBT payments for patrons to purchase food and not having no supervisor personnel on duty at the restaurant. This particular restaurant needs to be be investigated by district management or similar in reprimanding the employees for refusing to accept and process patrons EBT cards and in addition, using discriminative tactics by making excuses to avoid wanting to process EBT Cards

The same thing happens at Jack In The Box and Burger King in downtown San Diego. People suck.
taco shells
I purchased hard chicken tacos at the Del Taco store on 35th Avenue and Greenway #1127. Taco shells were rancid! I took a bite as I thought it was my imagination but it had a bad after taste so I smelled other 2 tacos n they were rancid also. Store is on way home from work and as I will not be going that way til next week, I am returning them to a more trusted store near me. My stomach felt very uneasy about 20 minutes after I ate it! I do hope you will contact manager nand get problem resolved as stock seems to be very old and I have a lot of family that likes to eat at that location. I will be informing them to check food before leaving there as this can be very bad for their health and a very bad business to serve rancid food as smell was very noticable! Thank you for your attention to this matter.
unprofessional employee
I was at the Del Taco #0340 in Downtown San Diego, Ca 92101. I placed an order and the person that made my order, which was a white employee and the active manager, was very disrespectful and handled the food in a very disrespectful manner. When I informed her that I didn't appreciate how she was handling my food, she told me that I didn't have to come back. Which is very unprofessional. I then asked her for her name and she wouldn't give it to me. This happened on 12/23/2017 at 11:40am. My receipt says the host is San Juana. I didn't appreciate the employees conduct, even the other employees was looking at her in a manner that said she was being disrespectful. I go to that Del Taco everyday because I'm a student at San Diego City College thats across the street. I don't appreciate being disrespected by ur employee, especially being that she was the acting manager at the time.

A few evenings ago I went to the Banning Del Taco at 1964 West Ramsey.
Myself and four other guests in Drive thru observed a female del taco employee having sex with a african american gentleman in a vehicle behind your business. I immediately went inside and the female employee quickly came inside right behind me, I explained to the manager (whom did not give her name by the way) that one of her female employees (a tall white, short dark haired, overweight girl) with the name tag of (Chelsey) which she tried hiding her name but I already got the name off of it, that she was observed by several people having sex in the parking lot, the manager did not seem to care and let the young woman toward the back of the store while we spoke, she did not take our complaint seriously and brushed us off saying "I do not have time for this" and ignored us. This is a very rude and extremely unsanitary situation that has been allowed to happen. This young lady should not be working for del taco and should not be in the food service industry with such a nasty habit, We refuse to eat there at that location until this employee no longer works there and I have also posted about this experience in local facebook groups as well, I would hate for you to lose business over such a problematic employee.

On 12/10/17, at about 1:50pm, I visited the Del Taco #841 in Folsom, CA. I ordered a Wet burrito plate (carne asada), chili cheese fries, & a Del Combo burrito via the drive-thru window. The order employee kept trying to get me to pull forward, but I kept trying to tell him the order didn't sound right during readback. Once straightened out my total was $15.70. At window I handed the cashier $16 in bills, he asked me if I wanted the change back. I was surprised but looked around for some "program or fundraiser" info on the window which would justify asking for people's change. I asked him what he wanted it for and did they have a jar. He stated it was for his personal tip, I laughed and said I'd take it since I assumed he was kidding. I have NEVER had anyone ask that before. He handed me the burrito plate and said all I was waiting for was the chili fries, I had to remind him I was still short the Del combo burrito. He laughed and said "what do you expect from a minimum wage employee" or something like that. As I pulled away onto the road I realized he had kept the 30 cents, he never attempted to give it to me. Once home I found the food to be terrible. The fries were dry like cardboard, the burrito plate had three brownish avocado slices that had "bad" spots cut off. I did eat the Del combo burrito. Everything else went into the trash. I like Del Taco, but have had iffy experiences at this particular branch before. I doubt I'll return to this branch again. And seriously...that guy might think no one will miss 30 cents, but that is theft none the less. To top it all off he did not offer me a receipt so I could make a proper complaint. I suppose that was on purpose as I would have been reminded I was waiting for my change.
my order was not right
I went to charelston n bruce las vegas nv at 120am on sunday morning dec 10 and ordered queso fries add chili and chili fries no cheese extra chili n there was not extra chilin on my queso fries had no chili at all. I have had to complain before about graveyard also my fries were old. I think my daughters was also. And the shells of my 6 taco was bad
food and quality
Location has been going downhill since it opened. Operating hours are getting shorter and the operators at the drive-thru became more inattentive with time. Now the drive-thru is closed althogether, which adds more inconvenience because this location is at a busy gas station and is hard to find parking. Today was the worst in terms of food. All of our taco shells were stale (couldn't change them since we got our food to go and found out at home). They were never stale before. The tacos that came had VERY LITTLE food inside (half the content quantity). Another taco that was pulled out the bag, all the inside contents fell out and onto our other food because the wrapping was not secured. That's it for us. Never coming back again or recommending this place. It's a shame because this is one of the few Del Tacos in the Bay Area and the others are now too far away. On November 29th I went into Del Taco at 2699 E Bidwell St, Folsom, CA 95630
I was inside eating when I incountered the Manager being very rude to 2 customers. It all started because they had put soda into water cups. They were asked to pour it out and use water only, which they did. While eating the quesedilla had green sauce on it so they asked for it to be made again the way asked. The manager yelled rudely, give me the food first. Argument happened but food remade under protest. She claimed they were being rude and to go or she's calling 911 and she did. The customers were not rude and only asked for the correct food. Very uncomfortable situation for me to have to see. Is this how they take care of customers? I wonder dies the corperate office care? Probably not since she still works there. I won't be back!
Since you were not an active participant in the situation, and therefore do not have all of the details, your complaint does not have much weight. The individuals that were affected will need to make a complaint themselves.
That being said, while the manager could have been more polite, the situation did start out with the customers technically committing theft.
drive thru personnel
On November 13, 2017 the drive thru attendant at the Del Taco on State College in Fullerton was rude and used curse words towards myself and my husband. We ordered then went to the window, once at the window we gave the attendant a $50.00 bill for our $10.00 order, he told us he didn't have any 20's for change so I said that 10's or 5's would be fine and he said no lady I don't have any change. so we said to cancel the order and the gentleman held on to our 50 so when we asked for it back he called us [censor] as we finally got our money back and drove away.

For some reason every time I go to the del taco off Ontario they are really cheap with their sauce well today I bought a side and now I don't really have a burrito! Why is it some del tacos make good fat yummy burritos yet this one doesn't and it's the only one around me. I'll I had was a tortilla pretty much this is sad. My money is important to me.

I go to Del Taco #1223 on Iris and Perris Blvd in Moreno Valley, a couple works there together and I usually see them on the same shift, as I'm in the drive thru I see the employee named Renee pinch the male employees butt. I usually go in and order, I've seen them together (in the dinning area) not sure if they're on the clock or off but they're usually hugged up in the chairs which is VERY INAPPROPRIATE for a work environment.

Okay to begin with I only wanted to order 3 crunchy tacos no lettuce on none of them I said. then I said 2 of them with sour cream 1 with just cheeese and meat.
I had $5 bucks in my hand already thinking it be about 3 something she says okay it's 5.42 in my haed I said what. but when I ask she she it was because of sour cream charge in my head I said okay whatever, but when it came to getting my food when they called my order # I get 5 crcuchy tacos when I thouth I payed for 3. no she [censor] up and charge me for 3. and no sore cream on none of them, honestly this is so frustrating especially because I had just got off work, I ask her what did you charge and how she couldnt explain to me what she did.
