Showed up ordered in the drive through in Lancaster Del Taco located on 15th st west, finished my order proceeded to drive around and I see the car in front of me backing up about to hit me I slammed on my brakes, the driver in front stopped then started to move forward and got their food, I pulled up paid for my food and then the cashier told me to back and I asked why she said because it will restart the timer, I told her no I won't back up and have someone hit me this is a big liability she got a attitude from what it sounds like is someone is not doing their job and wanted to cheat the system by acting like they have a fast customer service, It wouldn't do any good to complain to the manager because its obvious they probably get some kind of recognition or even a bonus, for cheating the system, Horrible service I will never go back their again
Wrong amount charged to my credit card.
On May 12, 2021, I purchased items totaling to $5.75. I was charged $7.69 on my credit card. I was given a receipt for $4 +. The employee gave me my food and he expected me to drive off. I told him I needed to pay. He took my card and I asked for a receipt. By the time I realized he gave me the wrong receipt, my co worker told me I would get him in trouble if I went back to tell them. I should have gone back to tell them.
Desired outcome: Credit the wrong amount on my credit card and charge the right amount.

We got into the drive thru to order our food. We ordered 5 chicken tacos, snack size chips and cheese and a $1 crunch-tada. We then proceeded to pay for this order and got parked in the front. When we finally got our food order it was missing the crunch-tada and guacamole instead of the cheese sauce for the chips. When I tried to go inside to complain about this and get the correct items, the door was locked. I did not feel like waiting in the 106 degree heat any longer for someone to come out so I left.

Desired outcome: Workers need more training to verify correct items per order and more receipt paper to reprint receipt when possible.

Lake Havasu City restaurant is very very cold in side the store
. I was told they keep it that way because it gets to hot in the kitchen. I do understand it gets warm it the kitchen. If customers do not come in or back do to the store is very cold ? The drive through
At the Del Taco at the corner of Lavista and 285 in Atlanta GA on Mother's Day evening, at 8:30 pm...we sat in the drive through line 30 minutes AFTER ordering. 30 minutes to go three car lengths. UNACCEPTABLE. The food is always fine but you NEVER have enough people there! And I drove in from an hour away for THIS?

I found a bug in my taco
First off I tried going in the front door and it was locked. I than got in my truck and went to drive thru. Very long line. I ordered and was read back my order only to find out when I received my food it was short 4 tacos. The lady said well that's what I have and sorry about that. Very unprofessional. So I asked if the lobby was closed only to find out the door is jammed and it is open. Not once did she ask if I wanted to add the rest of my order. I am beyond mad at this point and right it off as better for my waistline. I get home and my wife grabs a taco to find a bug on the wrapper. This is unbelievable. I called and talked to the manager and he said his staff is not good at customer service? He than said nobody has reported any bugs and kind of made me feel like he thought I was not telling the truth. So he said bring the food back and he would make me new food. So I went back the 8 miles with the bug in a bag and he said is that the food? I said yes and asked for a refund. This is unsatisfactory in my opinion.., ...
Desired outcome: Place checked for pests. Perhaps a gift certificate or at least an understanding ear. Better customer service?

I have always loved del taco food. My closest store is # 719 in Prescott Valley, AZ. We went to the Del Taco in Hayden, Idaho and they wouldn't serve us because we weren't wearing masks. The ridiculous mask mandates have been lifted here in Idaho. As well as other Conservative States. So now this location is losing business because of these stupid rules. We weren't the only ones who walked out either. That's ok, because Taco Bell around the corner didn't require it and they received our business.
Desired outcome: Lift your stupid mask requirements like all of the other businesses here in Idaho.

completely fouled-up order
Today, 3/18/2021, my order #[protected] was placed at 12:18 pm. We ordered over $64 worth of food from the Elk Grove CA restaurant.
We only received one-half of the order. Left out were fries, 11 tacos, guacamole. Of the things we did get, we had ordered crunchy tacos and instead received only soft tacos. We cannot eat the soft tacos. We have had to throw out almost all of what we got. The 2 taco salads we received had been dumped into the bag on end. All of the contents were squished into a 2" space and inedible.
We called the store 3 times. We finally got someone who claimed to be the manager. After I explained what in all happened, she hung up without saying or doing anything. The phone was thereafter, for 4 hours, off the hook according to an operator who checked for us.
I now cannot get anyone from there to talk to me. They just hang up, or say there is no manager there.
I have spent the last 4 hours trying to get through to their customer service department. I am unable to get anyone. I just keep being put on hold. Two of the times I called them, I was on hold for over 1/2 hour and no one ever came on the line, not even to apologize for the long wait. They say they are available 24 hours, but I just tried to call again and they said that they are closed.
Desired outcome: I want all of my money back, or for them not to fight a chargeback.

Del Taco LIED. They say on their menu the Crunchy " JUMBO " Shrimp Taco is a Jumbo! It is NOT JUMBO. The Shrimp are very small. We all know what Jumbo shrimp looks like. This is SMALL shrimp! I'm very disappointed in how they actually LIE to the customer! When I got home and looked at my order I was shocked! This is a street sized small tortilla with SMALL SHRIMP!

To Whom it may concern,
Hello, My name is Henry Alozie and I am now a former employee at Del Taco. I recently transferred from a branch in Hawthorne, to one in Bullhead City, Arizona. I started in Arizona on the 29th of December, and still have yet to receive a single paycheck. I was told that since I was new, I would receive a paper check on January 8th, 2021. I was then informed that my check was not yet here and I would get paid on the 15th of this month. I had gone on a trip regarding a family event on the 14th, and was not to return until the 17th; however, I was still aware that my check was in fact here this time. I returned back to work on the 19th, and my manager, Melanie, was handing out checks to each employee...and I did not get one. She told me that "I did not receive a check and I would get one next pay period" which is the 29th. I had been working for 4 weeks, not including my training hours, and have done so without pay, which is the reason I walked out. I refuse to continue to work for free or without pay. I understand that this branch is a "franchise"; however, it is still part of the Del Taco brand. I have tried to get in contact with someone from corporate several times, and failed. Please get back to me.

Beyond taco
To whom it may concern,
I want to start off by saying that I love the beyond taco's and del taco has one of the best beyond taco's I have tried and whom ever created the seasoning for it did an excellent job. However, it is very disappointing when I order a beyond taco that looks and taste like a cheese taco. I just my taco's without lettuce because it doesn't agree with my digestive system. But putting that much cheese and no meat is absolutely ridiculous. I don't understand why a person would think that's even okay to do. It's an ongoing problem. I want is what I pay for. I go out of my way to get the taco's and I feel I it should be made right all the time. Can you please talk to whomever you need to to change the way they are making these taco's and I go frequently and at different times of the day so it's more than one person making them them same way. Some days are a little better but for what is worth every time I go I should be a satisfied customer.

Discriminatory service
On 10/23/2020, I went to get dinner from 1155 E Orangethorpe Ave, Anaheim, CA 92801 Del Taco. I used the drive through and was the only car there. I am deaf and cannot speak well. I had my order ready on my phone. The Manager (name start with L) who was serving me at 6:20pm told me to go back to speaker box. I tried to explain I cannot understand her. I gusture her to pull down mask so I can read her lips. She refused. I type message on my phone as attempt to communicate and said "are you aware what ADA law means" She refused to read. I would not move back. After I gestured that I was not going to move back to the speaker box, she finally took my order. She grab the cash out of my hand and threw the change at me. I manage to get the dollars but the change was drop on the floor. She keep pointing at a different direction and I did not understand her. As I'm waiting for my order, there still was no car behind me. She had my food ready in bag but She wouldn't give it to me through the window. I could not understand why she wouldn't give me the food through the window. She finally write down message to move to front. I moved my car to front and the manager finally give me the food. I was humiliated because other staff was watching the ordeal. I ended up throwing away the food because I was too upset to eat.
She was very disrespectful. I want this franchise to obtain deaf sensitivity training about how to handle deaf customers! She clearly did not understand how to communicate with us in kind manner. Orange County Deaf Equal Access Foundation provides Deaf Sensitivity Training. I expect them to get their training ASAP. I do not want to go through this again nor have anyone else go through this.
