Del Taco Decline to honor bonus offer, very mouthy, rude and called customer "stupid"

I went to try new crispy chicken tacos and placed an order drive thru #81 around 21:11. When I got to the cashier to pay I showed her the bonus offer from my phone (1st time to experience/use them), she read and pulled the scanner (outside the window) to get the code # and I paid the total amount $4.32. When she handed me my order, I checked that the bonus offer (free 3 layer queso nachos) was not in the paper bag and I asked her about it and she looked me for a while and asked me to see the phone. I handed the phone to her and she took it to another woman employee and went to cashier machine and looked at the clocked for 3-4 minutes and returned my phone and told me I have to purchase another order. I told them to make adjustment like I cancelled the order but instead they refused, yelling, screaming and became mouthy to me and when I told her that I will complaint about the service, She called me "Go ahead, Stupid". Money it's not the issue but the principles. They need to be train properly. I went to college and graduated from nursing school and working in the Hospital to give care to my patients and yet, this woman who probably in the late 30's or 40's and work at the Del Taco have a nerved to call me "stupid". I don't want to lower my standard to hers but the management needs to know the treatment we received from their employee. Some plan of correction in the future will benefits all parties. Thank you.

Del Taco Lack food quality & cooking habits - recipe for food poisoning!

This is going to be a bit long. I accepted a "shop" for this location. I was instructed what to order and how to order it.
I sat off in the parking lot to observe a bit. I like to do this, if and whenever possible, when taking fast food shops. I watched an employee cleaning the curb & take the trash out. I then proceeded to drive into the drive thru. To which was consistent and long at times. When it came to my turn, I asked for a minute trying to take in the menu board and locate what it was I was to order. I found it odd, but I could only find the burrito. The Epic Crispy Chicken Guac Burrito, I might add. The 2nd part to this order was to be snack chips with Guac. I couldn't find this, but proceeded to order. Only to be told that that was NOT an option for the burrito. Not being hersed in this kind of issue, with my scheduler, I went with a suggestion that was given to me by the woman at the window. I took chips with salsa in it's place.
The woman was polite, quick, efficient, and attentive in the sense she did ask if I wanted condiments.
Unfortunately, for me it wouldn't have mattered.
After receiving my change after paying, then my food - condiments in tow.. I also found out the food was less than appealing.
The chips and the burrito had a taste of "old tainted oil". It was stomach churning. There were 3 strips of soggy chicken in this horribly wrapped burrito. No cheese, barely any strips of lettuce, some chopped tomato. It was tasteless other than the "bitter" flavor of bad oil. It was AWFUL!

So with the fact I was denied my complete order request - I was also denied the ability to finish the audit and lost my right to get paid back. I paid near $10.00 for a meal that had me close to the restroom. And lost out on receiving $21 for providing an audit. All due to an employee refusing to fulfill an order.

I've seldom had this happen, where employee's refuse to complete the requested order. SO I had no idea just how I was to accomplish this task. I made the only decision I knew. I pushed through and ordered what she offered.
And in the end, couldn't and wouldn't venture further with eating the entire tasteless (no seasoning, no taste to the food at all. It was unappealing) other than the 'turned' oil. To which made everything a bit bitter.
Today, I am at home doing my best to detox the results out of my body.
Which is always fun! when you eat something that should have NOT been sold to you.. and you should NOT have eaten.

I truly regret accepting this "shop"!
I would have been better off, heading across the parking lot to Burger King and ordering simple & predictable. I would not have been paid for going there, but I ended up not getting paid to eat from Del Taco in the end.
Let me tell you now, Food Poisoning is NOT fun!

I'd advise any and ALL ordering from ANY WHERE who cooks your food. If it doesn't smell, feel, look, or taste right. Get a refund and go elsewhere. It's when we 2nd guess our intuition that we end up taking a day spent closer to the Loo than we normally would.

I have been a dell taco customer and I saw this new menu of 3 pc crispy cken with fries. I told myself this must be good so I ordered it. But much to my disappointment the chicken was cold and not crispy together with the fries. So I just threw it away and look for another fast food for lunch.

Del Taco I am complaining about the quality of your food and the service at the del taco where I live in canyon country on Sierra hwy

I just went drive thru and my food was assembled like a monkey did it meat half on the bun and half off they forgot some of the ingredients like the ketchup on my cheese burger and there was 2 half patties on my burger also The buns are toasted till almost burnt and the fries are always soggy and half cooked and there Is not one longer then 1/2 inch. Also the young man working the window walked away and left the cash drawer open for at least 90 seconds but my main problem is with the quality and workmanship of your employee's

It has been going on for sometime, the most gross kitchen and behind the counter area I have seen. There is fries and lettuce and other food on the floor and NO ONE PICKS IT UP! Del Taco Fish taco

Menu said beer battered fish taco. It was a fish stick like you get from a frozen meal. Very horrible. Price outrages! I can't even believe you sell this product! Also, price too expencive.

On 08/09/2020 I purchased food @ the del taco location 280 n jones blvd las vegas, nv 89107 I ordered 3 tostada's, 2 fish tacos and a green bean burrito. The burrito was cold and was missing the green sauce altogether, the fish tacos had no cabbage which is the topping that is usually on them and the tostada's omg looked like they were just thrown together...

Since when did hours of service change based on who orders what in front of me? This is unacceptable and poor, inconsistent service. So who gets my money for food tonight and moving forward? Not Del Taco. I can't depend on being served when arriving during open hours. What a shame.

Del Taco Unethical behaviour

I went to the Del Taco in Las Vegas @corner of Eastern and Serene on Wednesday July 29th @3:45 p.m. I ordered the same thing I ALWAYS order, the #5 (2 chicken soft tacos combo), w/ no sauce on the tacos. The guy that took my order repeated the order (including the no sauce part, which made me happy). I picked up my order and drove off with out any issues. Upon checking my bag, I noticed that there was no chicken soft tacos, but a burrito instead (I do not like burritos), so I circled back around, thinking maybe the #5 is different here and that I ordered incorrectly. I saw that the menu was the same as I thought and I ordered correctly. I told the guy that I didn't receive my tacos and got a burrito instead. And, a girl came on the speaker and said "you got a burrito because that is what you ordered, in a rude tone", and I said, "I'm sorry if you misheard my order, but I definitely ordered the #5". She said "No, You Definitely ordered the #2!", basically calling me a liar. So, I said "are you serious right now?", and I asked for a manager. The guy came back on and said to pull forward (he was actually nice), when I pulled forward the girl was super snotty towards me, and shut the window on me when I tried to talk. When I asked her for the manager, she said she was the manager of the store. I asked her for her name, and she said Stephanie. I asked to see her name badge and she said she didn't have one? So, I'm guessing maybe her name wasn't Stephanie. I was so angry at this transaction, I can't even explain it. I have been in the restaurant industry my whole life, and would never act the way she did towards a paying customer. I was/am Extremely disappointed, and I really hope something can be done about this particular individual. Thanks for listening.

Del Taco Poor service

Went through drive through kept taking the amount off my prepaid card but refused to give me my food at del taco in cedar city Utah I've used a prepaid card before without a problem this is bull crap charged 7.40 5times to my card and refused my food

We went to the drive up today (07/01/20) and placed an order for two crisp chicken rollups, one crisp Dell Taco (with no tomatoes) and a large order of chedder poppers. We were told they don't make chedder poppers anymore, ok, that's fine... remove the advertisement then. I know that it's prudent to check the order before driving away, but we pulled away...

Del Taco Horrible food doordash never picked up

Last night (june 4, 2020), we decided to order del taco for delivery.
Went to the deltaco website and clicked delivery. We made our order to have it delivered by 5:30.
About 6:00 we were trying to get an order update, to no avail. My card had been charged. I started calling the store but no one answered. Eventually I would get a message the phone was busy.
Finally my husband and son went there, where our order was sitting at the doordash space. They asked why it hadn't been picked up and the employees said we had to contact doordash. I tried to contact them but only was able to get 'live chat'. The person on 'live chat' said they had no record of our order and to call del taco.
We will never use doordash or order from del taco again. By the time we were able to eat, the food had been sitting under the heat lamp so, it was horrible.

When ordering at the drive-thru we could hardley understand the employee, finally a lady came on real loud and rude and said what did you want?? I said 3 times no cheese on 4 of the soft taco's. Del Taco Employee

Employee was upset about computer system crashing. Walked around punching things in the restaurant and threatening employees. A couple days later same employee refusing orders in drive thru because they are short staffed. Very rude and unprofessional and a threat to the restaurant and other employees. I have a complaint on sore #[protected] on march 30 2020 at 855 pm I was on the drive thru and I heard an employee a lady talking bad to customers on the speaker not only to one vehicle but to every customer when it was my turn to order she was more rude to me she told this was not taco bell and cut me off so I could not order more food I got her name host stephanie my order was number 84 she shouldnt be working like that I guess del taco is not aware

Del Taco bad service and rude

I was turned down from getting my app order. I walked up to the window cause my car is down and they would not service. I was doing social distancing and the manager and his employed were rude and unprofessional. I had already paid for my food now I have to wait 24 to 48 hours for an refund. My husband hear the whole conversation! I was on my lunch break and I got nothing to eat. I posted the rude and unprofessional crew in the harbison store for del taco! This was my second time eating there! Great job

Del Taco Order

Once again I drove an hour to do some grocery shopping and got del taco when I was done.. I went through the drive through in carson city and the drive through lady took my order. It was super difficult to even talk to her because she was speaking sooo slowly. It was kind of weird. Then I paid, got my food, and headed back home (an hour drive.) When I got home and started giving each family member what they ordered, I had realized that once AGAIN they literally only gave me half of what I ordered, and messed up the little that I HAD ordered.

Del Taco service

the del taco on cactus/decauter in las vegas did provide good food, but when requested well done fries they said ok, and when I got to window they gave me regular and said they just came out. That was not what I ordered and was not what I wanted. By then they said they would take them back, which I dont like to do, because I have not Idea what they would bring me, the issue is that they did not try to give me what I ask for in the first place and push something else with the caveat that the would fix. Not good enough customer service in trying to push what they wanted versus what I ordered and I'm always critical on sending anything back in trusting them not to do something bad to my food. Just bad customer service and Im not pleased with the service but please with the food.

Del Taco Portions and window guy stuck his finger IN HIS NOSE

My food was incorrectly made. It had nearly NO CHICKEN OR INSIDE CONTENTS and it was much less than normal. It was NOT portioned properly. 2 Del Classic Chicken Burritos, minus tomatoes and lettuce, plus extra cheese. Window person put his finger into his nose in front of us. Soon as I saw inside my burritos, I threw them out. I am really upset. You owe us a meal ... the tacos were very tiny with hardly any meat. I couldn't taste meat at all. Picture will show contents of the Del Classic Chicken Burritos I ordered. Yes, I ordered extra cheese, no tomatoes no lettuce. but I recieved ... well, you will see. They were approximstely one inch wide! NO MEAT hardly at all. Just cheese. All I taste is tortilla. I'd like the meal replaced. Thankyou. PS I called the store to get help. Instead, the number on the reciept goes to a fax only.
