Had a delonghi Espresso/coffee combo that caught fire in the kitchen. Failed capacitors in the heating element. After doing a little bit of research it seems they've had a lot of problems with this unit that should have obviously been recalled! Reached out via email sent them pictures all identification numbers of the unit. They didn't even apologize or offer us anything. They just ask a tons of questions, and wanted me to provide more to them in every email and same information I'd already provided. Then they wanted me to waste more of my time and send them the unit. I tried calling once since no one had the courtesy to reach out to me. That was a mistake on my part! Got an extremely rude customer service person place me on hold for almost a half an hour then got back to me just wanted more information. Horrible product which their dumpster fire customer service matches!

I went to do dishes and picked this glass up and put my hand and sponge in it to hand wash it. But turned out somehow it was broken and I have no idea how it was placed carefully into the sink with a couple other things. So long story short I sliced my finger open badly good thing my man was able to help me out since I was shaking so bad in shock 😲. Just please maybe beware when you purchase check the glass before washing mahhhh goodness. Will not be buying this again yikessss

It is not as easy as the directions and instructional videos proclaim to clean this machine. I have followed all directions EXACTLY and it still isn't working the way it is supposed to. I go through the proper steps to descale and add descaler and press the proper buttons again. The water comes out of the frother but not the main coffee dispenser. I am so frustrated. This is the 2nd time I've cleaned the machine and it has taken me hours and still no luck. There are no directions specific to my machine either. Please help. Im ready to send it back.

I sent my machine back to them per their instructions and Fedex label. Fedex confirmed delivery. Delonghi refuses to respond to me. When I waited over hour on phone, they said they didn't have it and hung up on me.

I've been on hold multiple times for several hours. The representative has not even tried to assist. I've sent several emails with no response. How can you charge thousands of dollars and not have a customer service dept that functions?

I have bought Delonghi Coffe Maker in the month of May'22 through Amazon where they are not standing guarantee for this product. I have tried to reach out to dealers in India especially Kida Retail Pvt. Ltd., Pune where they are not bothered to attend calls. The dealers in India are totally incapable of handling customer complaints.

Hence, request Delonghi to take this seriously and arrange for replacement of coffee maker machine immediately.

For the past 2 months I have tried in vain to get my (under warranty) machine fixed by Kenliworth Electrical Dublin Ireland as advised by your support people. The machine stopped working even though it had been cleaned every two weeks.

The issue is Kenilworth Electrical (Dublin, Ireland) cannot get a courier to collect the machine and because I purchased this machine from Amazon I cannot return it to the store.

I live five miles outside the city of Cork so I don't live in a remote location but the courier people will not pick up the request in their system even though they did in the past for an older model I had.

I have been waiting for months now (6 attempts) and Kenilworth keep telling me they will put a new ticket in the system for courier to pickup. The process is clearly broken for me and I assume other customers.

Can you please get someone in your organization to fix this broken process? As a loyal customer it it very frustrating that I keep getting the same feedback and no one is prepared to fix the issue at hand.

After 3 months coffee machine stopped working.

Emailed to Delonghi Mexico 3 times for the past month, asking for where I have to bring machine for warranty service. So far no response. Obviously, they don't care about after sale service. This was first and last Delonghi product in my house. 1 star sounded like overrating at this point. Stay away.

Hello, I bought a Delonghi food processor from jumia, it's not up to two weeks and all the trays are broken, the dehydrator works fine, but all the trays are broken, I only used it once to dehydrate shredded coconut, I don't understand how I'm supposed to use the dehydrator now as almost all the trays are broken, I'm not happy, this is the first time I'm experiencing something like this from Junia, moreover the hydrator has a 2years gurantee

First Under No Circumstances buy a Delonghi product. After dealing with their customer service department and talking to their service centers they have very littler to no concern for their customers. I live in Minnesota and they have no service centers. The closest one is in Ohio and soon that center will no longer deal with the company. I was told by this service center that it is very difficult to work with Delonghi. That could be the reason there are so few service centers in the U.S.

I bought a Delonghi dehumidifier and after 6 months it stopped working. I had to pay $45 to ship it to NJ in order to receive another unit. That unit lasted only 4 months before it stopped dehumidifying. The company refused to pay for the return shipping on that unit, so I am left with a $250 nonworking unit.

The Ohio service center told me that they are a Italian company that has no concern for their customer. Once you buy their product, good luck getting any customer service in case your product fails.

Before you buy a Delonghi consider other manufactures and check their their return policies and consult the web regarding their customer service history.

The glass carafe for our 12-cup DeLonghi coffeemaker broke. I ordered a replacement from DeLonghi accessories on February 8, 2012 for $26.90. Full of hope, I called on February 27th to ask where the carafe was. Sorry, I was told, it's on back order for another 3-5 weeks -- that's in addition to the 2 1/2 weeks you've been in withdrawal already.
Up to SEVEN weeks before shipment? I'll have passed through all seven stages of grief by then. What is wrong with them? They're in the business of making the coffee. Well, I've cancelled the order even though I know they'll be hurt. The relationship is over; the wedding is off. Too bad, DeLonghi No. DCF112, because I liked your good looks and sleek form, especially the swing in your coffee basket which allowed you to fit nicely under my kitchen cabinet. But then, you were always having emotional outbursts, sending floods of coffee across my counter if I wasn't super-careful to nuzzle your carafe in place just right, so I'll brush away my tears and head to BB&B to search for some other super-model.

My Fully automated 3500 coffee-espresso-cappuccino maker was returned on Oct 5, 2006 (Fedex tracking number verification) to be repaired. It is Now Jan 8, 2008 and I have still not received my coffee maker. I have called weekly since Nov 15 and was assured it would be repaired by Thanksgiving – Thanksgiving came and went and after weekly calls again –was assured it would be back by Christmas…. Christmas came and went. I called today (Jan 8, 2007) and was told that on the 29th of Dec the pot was being repaired and shipped. It still ahs not arrived and I was told today that if I don’t’ have it or hear from them by the end of the week to call again.

Since this is a rather expensive product under warranty – the warranty repairs are less than timely. I don’t know if the repairs have actually been made because I have yet to receive my coffee pot.

In fairness to Delonghi – In Dec I asked that he warranty be extended an additional 3 months since I have not had use of my coffee maker for this amount of time. This request was granted.

Over three months for a repair seems an awfully long time. Will I buy DeLonghi in the future or recommend it – Probably not.

I bought in Italy an espresso machine, claimed, that it does not work as it should be. I got a response from DeLonghi about 8 weeks ago and they told me, that they come back to this matter soon. I contacted them in the meantime several times, no response at all. Lousy customer service! Be careful when you buy this brand mark
