DHL Express lost item

I bought a number of items from Amazon and shipped it to Borderlinx for onward shipping to Singapore. DHL delivered the items. There ware a total of 7 packages which left Borderlinx but only 6 arrived. DHL's own records show that only partial delivery was made, with 6 out of 7 packages delivered. The last item cost USD59.60. After more than a month of "investigation", Borderlinx (which handled my claim) informed me that DHL has offered compensation of USD13.24. In other words, even though DHL clearly lost my package, it only offered to refund back less than a quarter of the value of the item lost. Unfortunately, I have no choice not to use DHL because Borderlinx chooses them. I am now looking for alternative shipment options, rather than using Borderlinx.

The receiver needs to contact DHL and file a missing/damaged contents report. Only the receiver can file this type of complaint.
DHL can track the courier who delivered the parcel. The receiver will need to sign an affidavit.

DHL Express failed delivery

DHL New York. During the snow storm a day ago, I waited in front of our building lobby from 5pm to 630pm to ensure that when DHL comes I will be able to receive my shipment.
Around 606pm the same night, while I was waiting, I received a failed delivery notice (Note that the failed delivery message was through email notification) stating that "Delivery attempted; recipient not home." I immediately called DHL customer support about the matter since I was literally standing in front of the lobby. The size of the lobby was not that big (as in 3 meters x 5 meters and the entrance door leading to the door bell was no wider than 3 meters x 2 meters approx.)
The DHL supervisor called me the following day stating that he believes what his driver told him that there was an attempted delivery made and that a notice was even posted where the door bell was.
A simple apology from DHL due to the undelivered shipment due to the snow storm should have been sufficient and no other excuses.
The building super intendent was also plowing the snow in front of the building the entire time and no DHL ever approached him as well.

I had to rent a car to get my shipment from DHL facility in Woodside NY due to lost of confidence and trust with DHL.

Twice, DHL has sent a paket from Germany to the US, and twice, the paket returned to Germany, not delivered by USPS. DHL then reports to the sender that a delivery attempt was made, a notice left, and nobody followed up to pickup the package, so after days in storage, was returned.

And twice, I've been the victim of this lie, the second time I saw the same form letter given the to sender: DHL points the blame to the recipient to avoid responsibility of their own. They commit a fraud that then demands new postage. Here in the second time I have the proof from the USPS that both times DHL creates this fraud, this fiction, as a means of excusing themselves and extorting more money to resend.
But as the recipient (even when it was me who paid for the postage), DHL refuses to even hear the complaint. So DHL will present the lie to the sender, that has probably worked for decades but now (with doorbell cameras and digital tracking), are eventually going to expose DHL for their lies.

It has been 4 weeks since product shipped but I did not receive the merchandize yet until today. Contacted DHL but they said already hand over to local logistic and there no more tracing on DHL part.

Question is who is responsible now? I am writing to claim for refund.

Please advise I can get my refund of USD 45.00.

I was waiting home all day because early this morning I got a text that today my package will be with me. At 16:15 Delivery attempted; recipient not home - I was home waiting & not to mention my dad was actually outside washing his car around that time and earlier & there was no sign of the DHL truck. They seriously need to sort their ### out. Worst delivery company ever.

I Bought an Halogen Oven from JML Who unfortunately uses DHL for delivery.

First attempt to deliver, could not find my house, although I have given my FULL address to JML. The post office and other deliveries have been made without problems.

Next day, second attempt, not turned up, according to the DHL tracking website, he has been and no answer and have left a card. Door bell working and not sounded, no card left, clearly this idiot has attempted to deliver my oven to the wrong address. I will never use DHL again nor will I buy from any company which uses them as delivery.

Because of this pathetic driver, JML lost me as a customer, I cancelled my order, and I am not getting my oven. I have taken 2 days off work for this.

ASHTON SERVICE CENTER.. Fool threw my parcel over side gate into a lot of water, luckily it was also inside a plastic bag, never left a card and never knocked on door.
Seems a lot of companies are using these fools.

Despite these complaint here I have to say DHL is still one of the best. This does not mean they are very good, it mean that other are way terrible. In the terrible one' list we have Royal Mail International (I should say Royal Snail International) which takes 45 days to deliver a package to South East Asia, not in the middle of the jungle, but to Singapore, Macao for example. I know cases like this. Jules Verne took 80 days around the world by balloon in the 19th century... today Royal Mail takes 45 days to travel half world.
We put in the same list USPS, and Parcel Force (Parcel Farse) which is quite famous, but not for the good reasons.

Sometime there are some lazy staff who think they are the clever ones. I had an interesting experience when I received a heavy package and the DHL staff did not delivered it to me, I guess he was afraid of damaging his spine. When I tracked my package I found "delivery attempt, recipient not at home"... and I knew it was a lie. I went DHL immediately and the DHL courier guy couldn't possibly arrived first than me, but my package was there. He said he rang the bell and no one was in. Liar. Actually this trick is quite old already.
I had an arguing with them cos I hate stupid liars. NOW I have another package and it has arrived, but they are inserted the data on the tracking system. I guess it is a pay back, probably they will get in trouble with me.

to the manager of dhl in london i am writing this to complain because i didnt get my delivery more than 10 days
and i called to the office many times but unfortunatly every member of your staff were telling me different store.

now i am really getting fed up and i spent alot of money for this.

can you please kindly make investigation regarding why my delivery has not deliver?

DHL are a nightmare. I apparently 'missed' my delivery today at 2.10pm. . .which would be entirely believable if it weren't for the fact no card was left and none of my neighbours have seen a DHL van in the area today! I only found out my delivery was in limbo because I called Carphone Warehouse, who kindly provided me with a reference number as the lack of a card from the mystery DHL driver meant I had no details. Upon finally getting through to the company after a 10 minute wait, I was informed I could either collect my delivery from the depot (I don't drive, and a taxi would cost around £30 there and back - necessary since my parcel is too big for me to carry on the bus) OR they could MAYBE rearrange delivery for within another 2 days. . . the delay being because I had called after 4. When I pointed out I would have called sooner if I had a card that showed a delivery was attempted, they claimed that was not their responsibility. O, and apparently the fact no DHL van was sited by my neighbours was mere coincidence with the fact the card was not left. The woman was rude and unhelpful, and kept saying it was my fault since I wasn't in. . .but there is no card to prove they even attempted delivery! Pretty certain delivery has not been attempted. And lack of a card means I had trouble convincing them to even talk to me. No way am I asking them to redeliver. I shall have to find some way to get there and personally retrieve my parcel. On the same day, the store my boyfriend works for received a delivery from DHL that was supposed to go to a customer's address. When they pointed out in store that the address was not the store one, the guy refused to take the delivery back and stated it would be their responsibility to have it moved again (ie pay more money!). . .BUT it was clearly the wrong address! I can't believe a company can get away with this, and also put words like 'reputable' on their website. Makes me sick. I will never ever willingly use their company.

worst service from DHL, today 12/24 I waited for 6 hours and the driver never delivered my item and he/she even lied to the station that he/she had stopped by at 4:47pm and told them that we are closed! I was waiting for 6 hours and called at least 6 times from 12 - 5 pm to make sure that the driver will come. DHL agents told me the item will be delivered by 5pm absolutely, when it turned sour, they are playing game and tried to use the fake report from the driver. If the driver stopped by, there should be a stick or pad letf on door. I was in the office and kept the warehouse's door open and was not able to help my family on xmas. Worst service and I am not going to use DHL any more! So bad even under this economy!

DHL Express missing package

I had a package sent to me from Hamburg to Munich. It arrived in Munich in 2 days, and since then it has been "on the truck for delivery." It has had the same status for 7 days. This package is obviously lost, but no one at DHL is of any help. First, trying to complain to DHL germany is a nightmare on its own right, and they charge you 14 cents per minute for that call. Second there is no customer service email contact. Absurd. I can't get any response on this. DHL is the worst delivery service I have ever encountered. Terrible customer service and terrible delivery service.

Completely agree.
This seems to be very often the case with the DHL in Germany.
I had a very similar case - the parcels were returned to the sender because of the unknown address.
Of course, the address was correct and I have received already deliveries there (even via DHL).
If possible, I am trying to avoid it here.
It worked significantly better while I was in France.

DHL Express no contact, again, no update

My parcels were arrived in Taiwan on Saturday, but I didn't have any notice till Tuesday night from DHL Taiwan.
When I contacted the DHL Taiwan service center on Tuesday night, DHL representative told me that there is a custom issue for medicine and someone will contact me next day morning.

On Wednesday noontime, DHL Taiwan emailed me the partial abandonment application documents for custom issue and asked me return back to them by email. And told me that they are waiting for the decision (whether it should be determined as medicine or not) of custom. On the same day, Wednesday night, I emailed the abandonment documents to DHL Taiwan.

But next day morning, on Thursday, DHL told me they need the original document and picked up the documents at noontime from me.

And next day morning, on Friday, DHL Taiwan called me and said, they were planning to pick up my documents in the morning but it should be postponed to afternoon. And I told her one of you guys picked it up yesterday already. And then DHL emailed me they confirmed the documents were picked up on Thursday.

So far, again, I do not have had any update. When I complained by email on Friday night, DHL Taiwan representative answered me they will update on next Monday.
On Saturday morning, I answered why you guys are not cooperating each other and there is no update for 48 hours.
A DHL Taiwan lady called me around noontime, but she didn't know my document was picked up on Thursday already, she thought the problem was DHL didn't pick up the document yet.

DHL Express another scam website

Techdhl.com is another scam site. This company like many others is very friendly and nice until they get access to your money. Since that moment they either ignore you or threaten. I think police must make investigation and put them all behind bars.

DHL Express documents scrapped without return to sender

I am a Malaysia who is working in Thailand. Recently ( 20/7/12 ) I sent some documents to Malaysia using a courier service, specifically DHL. But until 27th of August, the documents haven't reached destination ( specifically to Subang Jaya ). When I checked at Thailand side, they confirmed the documents been sent to Malaysia. And when I checked at Malaysia side, they told me that the documents were still floating due to unknown address and I passed them the mobile phone no. of the person who supposed to receive those documents.

So I rushed back to Malaysia to have a personal check and below are the outcome of my conversation with the DHL (Malaysia ) representative.

3/9/12 - the DHL representative confirmed that the documents been received and still hanging at one of their office and they will look into this matter
4/9/12 - same as above but still they can't confirm the root course
5/9/12 - DHL confirmed they contacted the recipient and will send the documents by noon. And they confirmed DHL will ONLY dispose anything if floating more than 90 days.
6/9/12 - DHL representative confirmed they disposed those documents because it has been floating more that 30 days which is their new procedure.

Because of this unexpected problem,
1. I lost my new job back in Malaysia
2. I lost EPF ( Employees Provident Fund ) nomination form belongs to one of my family member
3. Some other documents which I can't publicize here

As for my doubt, I am just wondering why the document were not return to sender as my company address. Beside losing all above, I also spent quite an amount for the flight tickets and other things.

Can someone advise me what should I do or what is my right on this matter?

DHL Express failed to deliver package

I have had it with DHL. I wonder why this company hasn't been shutdown yet as they are provide the ### services ever. There business i built upon fraud and misleading the customers. I work from home and hardly leave my apartment building especially when i am expecting packages to be delivered. Today they claimed they had made 2 attempts to deliver my package but no one was home. what a load of BS (no door hanger to be found anywhere)...i have been home all day everyday this week...this is just despicable that they have such lousy service. I will NEVER EVER use DHL again!

Please do yourself a favor and NEVER ship anything to Saskatoon using DHL. This is because DHL does not have a physical presence in the city and uses a third-party called Loomis Express which engages in fraudulent business practices. There are hundreds of other negative online reviews about Loomis Express which include lost, stolen and delayed packages, fake delivery attempts, and overall horrible customer service. Unfortunately, I had no idea beforehand that my package sent by DHL would involve Loomis.

I’m certain that DHL is fully aware about the many negative customer experiences and I suspect they have received hundreds of complaints (if not more). The fact that they continue to use Loomis for Saskatoon deliveries is indefensible and it is clear that their cost-cutting efforts are a much bigger priority than ensuring quality service for their customers.

DHL Express pachage lost and no help

I got the DHL delivery slip in my postbox saying that the package(tracking number : [protected] ) will be in the poststation at Amalienstrasse, 2A, 69126, Heidelberg, Germany. So I went there the very next day and gave them the slip. But they said the packet has not been delivered yet. I followed up for the rest of the days but had no luck. For me it looked like the delivery person put the slip in my postbox and he didnt drop the package in the pst station at Amalienstrasse. Did he steal it? I called up the DHL customer care, They transferred me to different persons about 10 times in 2 calls. Some said they dont speak english and the others said my package is in the post station. I had to repeat the same story to every operator and no one could help. They didnt even take any complaint. I mailed them using the complaint form but no reply. This is the worst service and customer care i have ever experienced. Can somebody help me?

DHL Express quarantine processing fee

Hi 2 weeks ago i received a parcel from my mother in the UK, it contained 9 packets of Bisto gravy powder. Now 2 weeks later DHL have sent me a bill for $47.30 for Quarantine processing fee for a package with a value of less than $20.They tell me that i have to pay this i myself have had no dealings with DHL before receiving this bill so how can i be liable to pay ? do i really have to pay this.

DHL Express delivered to wrong address and dont care

Delivery went to the wrong address i tried to call them back many many times yet thay kept giving me promises that it will be sorted on the day but it did not of course and they dont even bother calling you back to let you know what is happening with your parcel.

I called them whenever i saw the dhl van pass through my house and yet they said the driver knows the area very well so i shoukd not get worried. These all things happen on 7 june until today 8 june still not sorted.

Honestley its a very untrustworthy company. If they cant be trusted with this small delivery what about our bigger value delivery ?

DHL Express customs charge scam

DHL tried to charge me $50 on for a $19 item for custom's clearance fees. This was weeks after I had received the product. The product was a DVD from a highly reputable company and there was absolutely no cause or reason for it to have been questioned by customs. I called DHL to follow up and question the charge, first thing they asked was if I was calling to make payment. I laughed and told them no, they would not be receiving a penny from me, much less $50 for a $19 dollar item that should have never been held up by customs or given a charge for DHL to pass on to me. I also stated that I would be contacting Customs and Fair Business Practices to which they simply stated, "that's fine". It will be a cold day in hell before I use DHL for anything!

DO NOT USE DHL, they are thieves.

I paid £36-odd (incl shipping) for a VR accessory, VAT was £5.93, so they decided to charge me £11 on top of that! Basically charging me almost double the orginal VAT merely for the privelige of paying said VAT! Have asked the firm that makes the gadget for a refund, hopefully they will switch to an honest courier when all their customers tell DHL to shove it.

DHL charged me around $100 for the custom charged for some pcb cards which customs does not charge.

They are the looters and should go to burning hell as if I m already paying $50 or $60 for shipping.

FRAUDESTERS ... Don't choose DHL even they are your last choice

DHL Bucharest Scam

Do Not use DHL when shipping to, or from, Romania! Better yet, avoid DHL completely!

I was sent two parcels from New York, containing gifts from a friend, to my home in Romania. The gifts were a new book and a set of ship line drawings.

After an unusually long period having not recieved the items I inquired about them and after 3 - 4 days was told they had been sitting in Bucharest for two weeks. ZNo explanation was given as to why I had not been notified. DHL told me of the VAT due and, appearing to be quite excessive, I found that my friend, not understanding what value to include on the documentation for insurance purposes, had included all of his costs including packaging, shipping, etc., in the value. I provided both Desk Agents at DHL Bucharest an e-mail from my friend, along with his contact information, explaining his error and his not understanding what the accurate value was expected on the paperwork for the parcels sent. I received no response from the Desk Agent (Mariana Ion) handling the mailing tube, who had been rude and unprofessional from the outset, and she still assessed an incorrect 20% VAT. The Desk Agent handling the book did respond, was very communicative and professional, and assessed a proper 5% VAT with a revised value.

To add injury to insult the book was received in damaged condition in a DHL envelope marked “repacked”. The book had black marks all over it, had been gotten wet to an extent that ink on some pages had blurred, and the cover had clear teeth marks where someone had presumably held it in their mouth while repacking it!

I made a damage claim and refund request for the excessive VAT charge for the mailing tube through rocomplaint@dhl.com and received a reply from Marin Funduc, Customer Care Advisor, who assured me that the incidents represent an isolated case and do not conform to DHL International quality standards. Mr. Funduc also requested that I reply with any damage details (number of damaged items, pictures of the outer packaging and goods) which I did. Mr. Funduc in turn placed the blame for the damage on the sender even though the book was removed from its original packaging for inspection by DHL in Bucharest, damaged, and repackaged in a DHL envelope. Mr. Funduc also went out of his way to twist the facts surrounding the damage to the book, and the VAT overcharge. He became rude and dismissive of the matter, and simply sought to cause me to go in circles. I asked Mr. Funduc for the name of his superior when it was obvious he had no intention of assisting me, but he refused to provide any information and ignored all e-mail requests thereafter. I then spoke with a representative with DHL International who stated DHL did accept the book and the mailing tube from UPS in New York and is indeed responsible for the complaints, contrary to what Mr. Funduc has stated. However, after hearing nothing from DHL International I again contacted them and was basically given the same dismissive attitude towards the matter as I received in Bucharest.

In light of the issues I had I looked into other complaints regarding DHL Bucharest, and it is obvious my ordeal isn’t unique. DHL Bucharest is engaged in swapping paperwork and DHL workers pocketing the difference in VAT charges. E.g., in my case paperwork sent to me, the victim, shows a 20% VAT fee while the “official” paperwork showing a 5% VAT is submitted with the 15% difference being pocketed by corrupt DHL workers.

I have a company in Romania with a satellite office in the U.S. and we had preferred DHL over all others. Needless to say that with this experience we no longer ship or receive items via DHL! We make it very clear to entities shipping items to us that we will not accept anything delivered by DHL, or even handled by DH at any point along the way!

Given that the incidents clearly represent standard cases and conform to DHL's International quality standards, despite what Mr. Funduc and DHL International claim, and that damages and excessive fees will be dismissed by DHL despite their assurances otherwise, your best bet is to ship via one of their competitors.

I have been overcharged by dhl many times ordering lights from China, receipts dhl provide's it clear says 0tax but handling charge and vat tax also some times storage charge I know every time I paid this amount to dhl it was a scam but if I don't pay them don't get the item, The problem is how can I make the complain and to whom they are big company no one listen.

DHL operates similar scam in the UK and I was shocked to find such big company will stoop this low. I want to make everyone in UK aware of this DHL scam. When ordering goods via light in the box, amazon or ebay, please ensure goods are surced from UK. DHL have demanded £90+ from me for goods that is worth less than this. They refused to provide proof of customs and VAT payment upon request even a copy.
I was unwilling to pay the amount without the customs receipt and if I had been given the choice I would not choose to pay £90 to customs to receive goods worth less than this. They have put me through to debt collecting agency.
PLEASE BE WARNED AND AVOID ORDERING GOODS FROM ABROAD VIA UK ONLINE COMPANIES AND DHL TAKES THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXTORT MONEY FROM YOU. I am not convinced they paid the duty and even if they paid it will come to that amount.

Sounds like I got off light! I paid £36-odd (incl shipping) for a VR accessory, VAT was £5.93, so they decided to charge me £11 on top of that! Basically charging me almost double the orginal VAT merely for the privelige of paying said VAT! Have asked the firm that makes the gadget for a refund, hopefully they will switch to an honest courier.

i received a shipment from DHL about a month ago and today get a bill from dhl for $23.49, $16.99 for duty fee at 2.60% and $6.50 for payment deferment. i already paid over $140.00 for dhl to ship the item and they're going to charge me $6.50 for payment deferment? i called dhl and told them i had no problem with paying the duty fee but i refuse to pay a deferment fee for something that i was not giving the option to pay on my own prior to them paying it. it's not a lot of money, it's the point! i asked the woman i spoke with, how would you like it if i paid your cable bill without your permission and then sent you a bill for almost 1/3 commission on top of your bill. she said, she understood where i was coming from, so i told her i'm not paying. she told me that the bill would probably end up in collections. well let me know how that works out for you dhl with no ss#. furthermore congrats on losing another customer because i will make sure that you never ship a package for me again and for anyone else i know.

It's a common scam by the DHL customs brokers. I've had shipping papers conveniently "lost" by DHL and then have them create new papers with triple the items value. Their brokerage fee is actually legit, it's just borderline criminal how they try to hide it. The problem is that their custom brokers will do everything to increase the customs value to earn more money.

Don't use DHL if you aren't prepared to pay ridiculously inflated fees for customs.

At least they gave you a bill you can dispute/ignore. Here they collect at the door and if you don't pay up, you won't get your shipment. They will hold your property hostage until you pay whichever amount the custom broker decides he should earn.

DHL Express extremely rude and ignorant delivery staff

This is to advice DHL customers particularly from Abu Dhabi regarding an incredibly ignorant and arrogant DHL delivery staff with serious attitude issues. The name is Riyadh DHL UAE ID No. 12811, surprisingly for someone who seems comfortable scolding and shouting at his customers, he is confident enough to give his name and ID! He must have gotten away with his attitude several times in DHL to be this arrogant!

The issue is not even about delivery service, but question on his basic ethics, respect for other people especially customers, proper working attitude, professionalism, knowledge of the job and pure simple common sense, specifically:

1. Service and Delivery staff/crew must never raise their voice and shout at their customer in phone and in person, , quickly assuming they are stupid because he was given a wrong address, especially if they are the ones at fault ( he did not read the address properly) and not the customer.
2. If their mistake is proven, he must sincerely apologize to the customer, show respect assuring it will not happen again.
3. Never ever dispute and invent lies or imaginary locations just to prove himself correct at all cost, to satisfy his ego.
4. Be respectful to the customer, especially if delivering in their home or office. ( he did his antics in a government office )
5. In any religion, culture or country, never ever shout at a lady ( and a customer too, right in her own premises)
6. As a delivery staff, being professional dictates having basic knowledge on correct Abu Dhabi roads and location and not mere hearesay. Showing inept knowledge of such with his kind of job, clearly makes him unworthy of the job!

Someone who is in touch personally with the customer to deliver services, his actions listed herein is completely unacceptable by any standards.

As a complaint is already filed against this person through appropriate customer service channels, this is hereby addressed to the Human Resources and training Department of DHL UAE, in all its branches in the Emirates.

There is urgent need to check lapses in your hiring system that allowed unworthy individuals with serious attitude problems to get hired in your company. Thank you.

DHL Express audit your invoices and do not give them your credit card

I have been using DHL for over 5 years, I have to admit that their non US service is great, once packages leave the US they get delivered on time. I recently discovered a billing error where DHL surcharged me over $1000.00 to ship a large package to Saudi Arabia. Luckily I had my DHL quote and package information recorded. I created a billing dispute and DHL refused to correct the issue, I started the process back in February and I realize that I was dealing with complete idiots!

They refused to recognize that their were billing me for package dimensions that exceeded manufacturer packaging specs, it is almost if the package grew within DHL sort system. After multiple emails and certified letters, DHL continues to call me on weekly basis looking for payment and I have to tell them every time that the invoice is not over due, it is in dispute, all I asked them to do is correct their mistake. But hold on, it is a mistake or an opportunity to enhance revenue?

In talking with other EX DHL customers, I realized that DHL has a long history of padding the invoices. So buyer be aware, audit your invoices and do not give them your credit card.

DHL Express haven't received my package after 4 months

I am in Dubai. I bought fitness supplements from bodybuilding.com 4 months ago but haven't received that till today. My tracking number is: GM15318098005361893. The seller ask met to keep waiting. Have no patient to wait, I sent an email (below) to DHL on December, but till today there wasn't any response from DHL.

I wonder where do the hell DHL person are going as none respond it. Up till today, it's been 4 months since the date the package was sent.

Really hope anyone from DHL care to respond this email.

DHL Express shipment being held and non delivery

I have a package being held at this point with who know whom that came from China.

It's a massage machine, being sold on EBay by the hundreds. DHL has the machine since the 21st, today being the 10th day of it's arrival in the US. They claim that the FDA is holding it. So I decided to call the FDA myself and find out why and if they needed something to help get the process faster. To my surprise they said they are not holding the machine and that the number provided by DHL doesn't even show up in their system and that the number is invalid. I believe the FDA since I received 2 calls from them saying exactly the same thing. I also work with a broker that knows someone in Customs that said they are not holding it either.

I send emails, make phone calls to find out more and more how incompetent DHL is and that they don't care at all if the customer has urgency and pays a fortune to have shipments expedited for nothing. I had to reschedule an International flight 3 times due to this delay and will probably have to do it again tomorrow since there is no response from them different than: your package is being held for inspection by the FDA. You go online and it says Clearance delay. 10 Days! Who is lying? Where is my shipment?

DHL Express dhl stole my iphone 4s from the box.

I've sent my 2 new Black iPhone 4S 16GB back to Bangkok, Thailand by DHL Express.
But they opened my box and stole one of my iPhone 4S out from the sealed package and taped with their DHL tape.
They left me with iPhone box with accessories but no iPhone 4S.
They sent my package to Brisbane, Australia that's not a normal route from LHR to BKK so that it must take time and confuse to
track the theft that stole my iPhone 4S.
I've contacted DHL Express UK and Thailand but nothing coming up for 1 month! They just let me wait for nothing.
Although I've report this case to Bangkok Police and UK police and immobilise database.

DHL Express delayed express mail delivery

I had an important business document to be sent overnight. I mistakenly selected DHL. It was sent on a Thursday morning and by Monday morning, no news other than the tracking site saying it was sitting in the sorting section waiting to be delivered. I spoke with the courier and he explained that there was an incorrect address on package, which was not true. Then when I gave him the correct address, courier dissappeared and did not deliver document. When I contacted DHL and asked to speak with a manager, a received a long lecture on how the courier was very busy and didn't have time to deliver document. Rather than simply fixing situation and delivering, they simply gave me impression that customer is always wrong with DHL. My advice is that if you need to have a document delivered to Russia urgently, select another company - with DHL it is anything but express and customer service is awful and offensive.

DHL Express DHL service

DHL Philippines a nightmare to do business with - I am very frustrated with DHL service in Manila. My shipment was dropped off at the DHL office in Hong Kong on Oct 31 afternoon and as of the time of this writing Nov 3rd 4pm I still have not got my shipment.
I have called DHL service hotline in Manila on Nov 2nd 4pm and asked why my shipment is scheduled for delivery for 24 hours but no delivery attempt has made. I got apologies and the promise to have a priority delivery on Nov 3rd morning time.
Today Nov 3rd at 3:50pm I called again the DHL hotline and asked about the status of my delivery and was told the official delivery time for DHL in Manila is between 9am and 5pm so what do I want … - thanks for the priority classification.

Hi. I am from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. My items was dropped off in Calgary, Alberta going in Cebu, Philippines last November 14, 2023. Everything was declared. I even itemized it. And it says November 20, 2023 will be deliver but when we track it, it says November 22, 2023. We waited for November 22, 2023 and I even asked my sister in law to call them and have to follow up and thats the only time we knew that there is mistake to be corrected on my part and they said they already send an email ton DHL Canada and the form that I need to fill up (again). I went to the store to fill up that form (again) and the guy send that form to them. I even send the form that I fill up to my sister in law and now they send a different form again to my sister in law that I need to fill up again. Until now, November 24, 2023, 12:27 am (Canada time), my sister in law still dealing with them. I will never deal with you DHL. The items that I send is for my niece and she"s waiting for that. Come on DHL, Cebu. Do your job.

I have 3 shipments from UK to Manila

(Shipping from UK May, and now July 2023)

all my used items they report as new. and must be taxed (even though all the goods in it are used goods)

3 delivery they reported the wrong taxes. they report the total price from 3 shipments to 1 shipment (they asked me to pay 3x tax per shipment)

and they do not admit their mistakes. 1 of my 3 shipments was held up and my shipment was returned to the UK

1 of 3 shipping taxes cannot be revised, the reason has been processed from being sent to the HDL warehouse

and asked me to force them to pay, even though I kept saying that I had reported the wrong tax. until my goods are detained and returned to the UK

The other 2 submissions they tried to revise but asked for a lot of new data (and an affidavit reported by the wrong customer)

one of my shipments asked for high taxes, the total price of the goods in 1 shipment was only 34,215 pesos (this is my personal item, game equipment that I use more than 2 years) but they asked for taxes up to 4,523 pesos for my second hand goods

and finally 1. currently revising taxes. took up to 2 months and still not finished. today is June 30th

I don't know what i should to do anymore, is it all too difficult to ship used goods in the Philippines?

I will never ever use DHL again! Its been almost 3 weeks when the package hold in customs. Everyday I ask their customer service what should I do. They ask and ask about the requirements which I provide and still hold in customs. After a few weeks they ask me to pay for duties and taxes which almost 4000 pesos. Like wtf after all the waiting and update the requirements they needed they charged me a large amount. Fyi the package is just an old laptop. Only one item hold in custom and charge me a large amount. Customer service is no help at all!

DHL Philippines will find a reason not to deliver your package, use the customer to blame, abandon your package to customs so they can seize and steal it. Come on, DHL Philippines, it’s been happening for years and we the customers see it. We’re not stupid and you are being reported to authorities and sued already. You’ve robbed customers of countless hours and money. How shameful. You will be shut down eventually since your current review rating is one star worldwide, and no matter how much you change it to five, people are reading the reviews.

I am going threw the same thing I have documented everything, they lie on tracking saying it is some where but still dhows in manila, then they call and have a excuse, like where is the package suppose to go, idiots, they tried even to charge me storage, even though I have emailed them everyday finding out when will I receive., I don't know if you are Philippine, but I know if you have a foriener name they will try to screw you, thinking you won't be in country to long, government dose not care, why people visit here is unclear but most never return, to bad prety country managed by misfits

Have been trying to have a shipment that is free of customs and duties delivered but have encountered the a series of incompetence from the DHL service staff. I must admit I had the item wrongly address but took measures to correct that. After 17 days it has become easier to pay the customs and duties rather than go through a series of letters and paperwork to have the parcel delivered. I had a similar problem with nother shipping company and they resolved the problem without fuss, numerous telephone calls, emails and faxes. Just try and call the office and you get nothing but fob offs, hang ups or left for 20 minutes waiting for your call to be answered all the while being told how great, efficent and easy it is to have your deliveries made through DHL. Never again. My advice is to anyone wanting to use DHL think again and use either FedEx or TNT. F**k DHL
