My receipt from Dillards gives details on how to win a 2,500 dollar shopping spree, but when I tried to access the web address I keep getting a message stating it's an invalid address. I used several search engines with the same results.

I put in the exact heading WWW.DILLARD.COM/SHOPPINGSPREE
But am unable to register. Make it more user friendly please. I have all of these receipts to register and am unable to--it is frustrating. You can do better Dillards!

I purchased several fashion accessories from Dillards on January 25 of this year and just attempted to register for the #25,000 shopping spree advertised on my sales slip. Unfortunately I had the same experience of being unable to access the contest as the other people who have been complaining. Shame on you Dillards!

I had the same experience with the shopping spree website. (FRAUD-FRAUD-FRAUD!)

I have also encountered rude, smart mouth employees. I was shopping in the men's department in Fayette Mall- Lexington, Ky. during the month of Nov. I was looking for jeans for my brother's upcoming b-day. I was in the Polo/Ralph Lauren section and asked a female associate where I would find a certain type of jeans called Chaps by R. Lauren/Polo. (I only asked because I was in a hurry.) She laughed outloud-looked me head to toe and proceeded to tell me (in a snooty manner) that R.Lauren/Polo didn't make that certain brand (Chaps)-and I needed to shop at JC Penney-because they carried Chaps which was an off brand low quality product. I then let her know that fashion/clothing/shopping was the one thing I was knowledgeable of. And by the way she was incorrect. Chaps is a division of Polo/R. Lauren.

Another time (Fayette Mall-same store-in January-approximately 8:30 P.M.) I was looking for Coach shoes. 20 people (no joking-20 people) were lined up waiting to get their size shoe from the back. People were growing impatient (I was simply watching/listening). Another gentlemen (who by the way wanted 6 pairs of coach shoes for his wife) went to look for help from another shoe area. He said that on the other side there were many employees hard at work-DOING INVENTORY. Wouldn't it be wise to tend to your customers who want to purchase mdse. And THEN do your inventory after closing-when consumers are gone for the evening. I very kindly told the workers that it would be nice/productive/efficient if they adopted the same shoe system Macy's has- a palm pilot that tells you in about 5 seconds if they have your particular shoe or not. It eliminates a lot of wasted time and effort on each parties part.

Dillards needs to know that shoppers have a choice of where to shop. Their employees often have customers looking for one thing- THE DOOR!

All its asking for is for you to fill out a survey so they can get your email address.

Have looked everywhere for your big 2,500 shopping spree. No where to be found.

I also searched for the site to sign up for the shopping spree. I am truly surprised at Dillards. I think this is a scam. I have always believed in the store policy and upscale quality merchandise. I did not think they would stoop this low.

I, also, purchased 3 items at Dillards, and tried to register for the free $2,500 shopping spree. I found the on-line screen but when I completed the first page of the 0n-line form, and pushed NEXT, as instructed, the next page was actually the same page that I had just completed. I tried this 3 times and the same thing happened each time. There was no place for a registration #. and no response to indicate that I was registered. I'm not sure if I am registered or not. This form was NOT a very smart move on behalf of Dillards.

I just made a purchase at the Dillards store in Independence, Mo. store and my receipt said to register for a $2,500 shopping spree before 2/18/2007. I can't find where to do that. All I have found are these complaints.

You are just like all of the other jack holes on line. You are scamming all of these women who spend thousands of dollars in your store each year. No wonder your competitions are doing better than you! Don't tell your faithful customers to enter a fake shopping spree. Thanks for listening to my complaint. Kara in Arkansas.

Same problem cannot register for the $2500.00 giveaway. I tried several different searches and come up with nothing. Not good for the company to mislead us.

I have to laugh at all the people complaining about how this is a scam when in fact you need to LEARN how to use your web browser. DO NOT use a SEARCH ENGINE to enter ANY web address of any kind. Search engines are NOT designed for you to enter an address. They are for entering a word or string of words (but for best results as few as possible) This is NOT a SCAM. I have entered many times without issue and I hope I am the winner because you folks don't know how to use your computers!

I have to agree with message sent by Donald R. Toth . I tried several times to find the Dillard's shopping spree site. After reading Donald's e-mail, I reviewed my own attempts to find the site, only to find I had typed a wrong letter on one, and omitted a letter on the other. Today I carefully typed the address and then reviewed it to be sure it was correct. GUESS WHAT? There I was right on the shopping spree site. I registered and this time carefully checked my typing and submitted my entry, no problem...

This is just awful. How can Dillards treat their customers this way? If there is no such website then why put it on the receipt? I believe the Dillards should do something to solve this problem and make it right with their customers. Our time is valuable and to waste in looking for a site that is there is, again I say, just awful.

I tried to enter the "Dillards Shopping Spree". The web address is no where to find it. I spend hours trying to find it. It is a scam. Its sad that such a prestige store is printing false information in their receipts. Date 2/25/07. I would like to know why is dillards doing this?

I just found this sight thinking the Dillards shopping spree might be a scam cause I could not find it online. But the lady who posted on page 1 that included the full address:

http://www.dillards.com/shoppingspree/

I copied and pasted from her posting and it worked, I think you must include the http as well as the / at the end. Hope this helps.

I had no problem signing up for the 2500 shopping spree? I had an incident in early January with a gift card which i complained about to dillards head office, the local dillards manager called me personally to explain and apologize for something i found out was not their. I was very impressed and will continue to give dillards my business.

Thanks,
Idaho

I purchased a pair of dress slacks on 3/16/2007 at Arrowhead Town Center, Glendale AZ. Also receipt gave same address as all other complaints who have tried to enter shopping spree. Also do not like them requesting my Social Security number. The only one entitled to that information is the Social Security Administration and the U.S, Army because I am a retired Major and my ID for military actions is my Social Security number. This was my first and will be my last visit to Dillard's.

The $2500 sweepstakes is a rip-off! After spending approximately 15 mins. answering to ALL the things the company tried to sign me up for, I was told that I HAD to answer "yes" to at least one of the offers or I couldn't go on with my entry. This is a BIG JOKE and Dillard's needs to be ashamed of being connected in any way to this sweepstakes offer. SHAME ON YOU DILLARD'S!

The Net Panel goes directly to the $2,500 shopping spree contest and also puts you in for a plasma t.v. but it doesn't look like it is tied to Dillards...

I was in the Dillards store in Florence, Alabama on April 6,2007. The saleslady give me the receipt for the purchase and told me to register for Dillard shoppingspree. The website is not on the internet. This is the second encounter with Dillards so I will probably never shop at this store again.

Last February I called Dillards to order an undergarment by phone, well I waited and no delivery of it so I guessed they back ordered it and still no goods came and I let it go. NOW for the last week I have been getting harassing phone calls every morning wanting payment for the goods I never got and never a statement on my card for payment.I'll pay their lousy company and have cut up the credit card also. customer relations is something Dillards need to fix!

Hey Dillard's:

You are so full of bull! I agree no such site exist! Is this a scam or what? Smells pretty stinky to me! Is this the same as "FALSE ADVERTISEMENT"? Hummm sounds like it! SHAME ON YOU for trying to scam your customers! I will sure think twice before shopping at your store! This happened in Texas. I guess it's all over the US.

I think DILLARD'S needs to read each and every one of these angry letters! What do you have to say for yourself? I have the receipt to prove it! Things like this should not be allowed to happen. What is your purpose in this anyway? Looks like to me loosing customers! Is that what you want? Just lost one more...
