Rude representative who refuse to listen
Minutes ago, after waiting for a representative to answer the phone all day, I got someone who was rude, careless and impatient about how I felt about my experience and how frustrated I must feel deep inside and he refused to listen and cooperate and do his job and complained about a little bit of frustration in my low pitched voice and then hung up on me!
Desired outcome: I need badly to use my card!
The Fraud department
The fraud department does not work on your behalf this will be my third case of identity theft the first one I had three $159 charges pending I called the bank immediately because I did not make those charges I was told nothing could be done until after they go through I asked for the phone numbers that went with it I got nothing and then when it came time to fill out the paperwork I got nothing back none of my money back over $2000 I am finally my third fraudClean I want to know who made the charges and I want to see them punished and return my money

the fraaud service department has been unfair, by hantging up on me blocking my account, I have never had this problem before, why at this time, I would like the money that was taken from my account put back soon, I have bills to pay. at this time that is all. ok you need more, well this problem with the fraud service department should not have happen, when a customer called in for information he or she should not be treated this way, all information was sent in on time within the 10 business days, when I called to check on the report, I was hung up put on hold for hour at a time.

On 6.29.2022 All my ID docs were stolen by an abuser.
7.1.2022 to 7.5.2022 It took many calls and 22 hours on hold get Direct Express to answer the phone.
I told them of the card and ID theft. They claimed they would cancel the stolen card and would send me a new card.
A Direct Express agent 'verified' me by sending a code to my email.
Agent said they would debit my account $18 for the new card and it would arrive in 2 days [to my mom's address in another state as I requeste]).
The card arrived 4 days later.
When I called the Direct Express number to activate - after 4 hours on hold - my call was sent to the Fraud Dept.
Direct Express Fraud Dept REFUSED to 'verify' me by using an email code which is the verification method they used to send a NEW CARD to a NEW ADDRESS.
Direct express agent (and a "supervisor") demanded front and back copies of my driver license, birth certificate and social security card.

My account has been locked for fraud suspicion and I've been instructed to call the customer service line I've stayed on the customer service line 5 hours on hold and no one has answered and that's the only way to resolve my problem. This is very unprofessional and I need somebody to contact me now because I have funds on my account that I can I access.

I have had nothing but trouble with this card. People just taking money. A FRIEND USED MY CARD. BUYING EVERYTHING AND ANY. II complained severial times. Nothing done.
Just Answer took a years worth of money at 46.00. Best part was I did not get an answer... They stopped them. I never got money or I am sorry. Nothing. I canceled the card. But do you know my SSA money went to the card. I am tell them that they MUST RETURN the money back to the SSA. Card was distroyed . There is no way for me to retrive the money... They must return it. Direct express is one sorry, understaffed joke! I need to not have my d... M card suspended for the most stupid reasons! You wait all for this stupid organization to answer the phone, then they say go to fraud department,. Then you wait another 2 hours on that dept call answer. Stop making this card fraudulent... have been trying to order replacement card using option 4 for lost/stolen card takes me to option pin number change but pin number is set and its the only option that shows up and cannot get past this option it requires the security number on card and then says to many attempts and says try in a little while and hangs up. Payment reduced
I have noticed that I was given a $100 a month cut in my Social Security Payment. Why is that? Was there a mistake of some kind back at the office where the payments are issued? Starting in January of this year I was receiving $1398 a month. Then In May of this year (last month) I received $1298. Why is that? Please rectify the problem and please respond. Worst customer service
I called on May 18th 2022 to dispute a charge I did not authorize. I sent my driver's license and birth certificate in to verify. Then I called back on May 19th and May 20th to file my dispute. First of all they said I never called. Secondly the lady was rude screaming over me while I was asking questions about the disputing fraud process. When I asked to be transferred to a Supervisor she said hang on and by the way I cancelled your card so good luck then put me on an eternal holding hell. Finally the supervisor got on the phone he was equally as rude and I just really think nobody there knows how to provide quality customer service! I will not use you guys again I'm switching to a bank and also discouraging anyone I know from using you all... Long story summed up short today is June 2nd 2022 and I have still yet to receive my card and when I called this morning I was charged $14 even after all the utter [censored] over a period of two weeks I had to put up with! And never getting my needs met as a customer! Do not use this company they are horrible!

fraud protection
On 8/4/2021, I made a purchase from National Parts "[protected] FL." for a repair on a Mercedes front SAM module. They stated on their web page that the module would be repaired and would not need to be programed to the car, (it would retain the coding to the car). Then, on 8/16/2021 they notified me that my module was not repairable and that for an additional $260. they could send me a used, programed module ready to install into my car. What I received was indeed a used module, but it was not coded and the case was broken and could let water into the components. I contacted the company and they refused to give me a refund or replace the module.
I then contacted Direct Express to report fraud. Then on 9/13/2021 I received two "REVERSAL CREDITS" for each charge, with the "merchant" column blank. Thinking that the issue was resolved, I then purchased another module from Ebay for $230. and installed it into my car. Then, on 9/21/2021, Direct Express took the money back, calling it a "REVERSAL CHARGE".
Direct Express did not use correct language. REVERSAL DOES NOT MEAN PROVISIONAL. If I had known that the credits were provisional, I would not have made the purchase from Ebay. Their use of incorrect language, and poor investigation of National Parts, who has many similar complaints as mine against them, resulted in my loss of $513.99.
I made complaints to both FL and Indiana state attorney generals, and I believe Indiana forwarded my complaint against Direct Express to the FDIC and I have not heard from them to this date.
Desired outcome: Direct Express should reimburse the credits back to me in full. and charge them back to National Parts. I still have the broken part they sent me and can return it with a prepaid shipping label back to National Parts in FL.
On Sunday 5/22/2022 I transferred $145. from my Direct Express account to my other bank, First Financial bank. It has been returned to my direct Express Account on 5/24/2022. This is the third time I've tried to transfer money to my other bank and the money never gets transferred.

My name is Marcellous Bernard Taylor, JR. i am a member of direct express debit card client and have been a member for many years.
I am writing to all of you because of an egregious act of denial committed by Comerica bank through Direct Express. Further, i believe the subsequent letter of the denial of my claim of fraudulent use of my debit card compounded the unauthorized charge by stating to me information that i strongly suspect Comerica Bank and Direct Express fabricated in order to not pay the claim.
I am stating that in spite of the letter I received from Direct Express clearly states their investigation was thorough, an obvious omitted fact by Direct Express is that the moment my card was used in GNC did Comerica and/or Direct Express state that it either asked to view security cameras at GMC or in fact mention cameras at all. The communication I received from Comerica and Direct Express stated that they spoke with the merchant and confirmed a purchase was made. To base a decision of denial of claim on such information is absolutely and completely nonsensical. What did Comerica and/or Direct Express expect a merchant to say?
Additionally, if Comerica and/or Direct Express spoke to the merchant at all (and i absolutely suspect at BEST the communication i received denying my claim is absolutely disingenuous and at worse, these departments in your agency contacted anyone. Even if your institution contacted anyone i certainly was offered no information regarding whom Comerica and/or Direct Express spoke, Further, your institution did not ask or state if the card was swiped or used by a chip. Any first-year college-level investigator student would have asked and or provided such information.
On a personal level, it is extraordinarily disappointing that the US government would contract any institution, organization, bank, etc. that not only fails to protect its customers who in this case are a family of US military veterans from all branches of the US military but will go as far as to insinuate and/or state the claim itself is fraudulent. Additionally, and comparatively speaking, my reputation as one who does not file ANY claims is more credible than Comerica Bank and/or Direct Express who has a history, pattern and reputation for without cause or reason deny their customer's claim.
Equally important, Direct Express stated that as part of its investigation it contacted the merchant and used this apparent conversation that was not only ex-parte but also did not permit and/or offer me the opportunity to rebut whatever information that was shared by whomever Comerica's and/or Direct Express fraud and investigative team contacted.
More importantly, without a scintilla of doubt i know my claim has merit and should be paid. Also, without a scintilla of doubt is that i believe t Comerica Bank and/or Direct Express´ refusal to pay most likely thousands of claims is an egregious and malicious pattern that causes many more customers to be further victimized by Comerica's and/or Direct Express' Fraud and investigative team.
For all of the above reason(s) I intend to use the Freedom of Information Act to obtain information regarding statistical data as it relates to claims by-from its customers who file and the denials of your financial institution and to whom and/or what groups, if any your financial institutions apparently and routinely deny.
Finally, I hereby respectfully request that Comerica Bank and Direct Express honor my claim and credit my account the in the amount of $94.89 that was fraudulently debited from my account.
Because i am sending this communication electronically, i hope to receive an immediate response.

I tried to use my Direct Express card twice this morning (05/07/2022. Both times it was declined? So I called customer service and when I put my card number in it's saying system is temporarily unavailable try again in 30 minutes? So I wait over 30 minutes and call again,and get the same unavailable message?What am I supposed to do? It was me that did the transactions so I don't know what the problem is?

I requested a paperstatement n found two withdrawals from unknown companies, 4/2/2022 getcyortcream n getruvinserum, one made from MD n NY. Was informed that several had been made. I didn't authorize these payments.
Desired outcome: Stop these payments. A new card was requested. Do not make payments to anyone unless I say so.
Blocking my transactions
Every month I pay my bills by transferring my funds to my cash app I never had a problem before December of 2021 now I no longer can transfer my funds to cash app cannot get a hold of customer service therefore all my bills are late I'm 65 I'm disabled and have no way to go and take the money from the card at the ATM and then transfer manually onto my cash app I have no way to do this I've tried to call 700 times throughout the month every month for the past 3 months I cannot get no one on that phone morning new night I've tried every hour of the day what can I do

April 11, 2022 I called DE to tell them $97 had been charged to my account. The CSA was rude and would NOT listen. Not only rude. but downright stupid. She told me to go to ATT and have them refund the money. ATT does not even have a record of the charge because they didn't make it. How can they refund money when there is NO record? This is at least the 4th time my card has been hacked and it takes FOREVER to get DE to do anything. I am soooo sick of these offshore call centers I could spit.
