bad service
Dear, Yesterday my wife and I were flying from Dubia terminal 1 to Dammam Saudi. I checked in at 5 p.m. the staff girl who was assisting us issuing the boarding pass was extremely rude. She even gives us seats far away from each other. I went to other counter and he told me that the flight still wild open and give us 2 seats next to each other. I am American and my wife is Saudi. I didn’t know why we were treated this way. I would like for my voice to reach out so such a thing shall never happen to anyone. I usually fly with Oman Air or Fly Dubai back to Muscat from Dubai over the weekends since my parents work there. Not being aware of the immigration rules changing lately, I had managed to book myself only a one way ticket not planning when exactly I would return back to Dubai and intending to take some days off from work to spend a longer weekend with my parents in Muscat. While most of the ground staff personnels with Oman Air were very professional and explained to me how I needed to have a return ticket booked back to Dubai as per the new regulations, this senior personnel from the DNATA team serving at the Oman Air counter was outrageously rude in his command and conduct. He goes by the name Mr. Amir Suhail (which I hope is his correct name but you) and he was a DNATA representative on duty with the OMAN AIR counter while I checked in to catch my flight to Muscat. My experience in general so far has been really nice flying with Oman Air. But Mr. Amir proved to be of utter shame and embarrassment servicing with Oman Air this time around. He had absolutely no customer centric skills and was a royalty of disaster who had no command at how he should be speaking with a customer. I work for the service industry as well and the ground rule is that it should be of an utmost priority how a client or customer should be handled or dealt with. I beg to pardon for my language but Mr. Amir only went onto to screaming, shouting and barking at me in front of all other customers rather than having me helped or talked to about the entire process to seek permission with the immigration back in Oman to fly without a return ticket back to Dubai. Probably Mr. Amir had a hard day at work but this leaves him with no excuse to disrespect a customer and talk back in an insulting manner to them. DNATA and the senior management should really understand that it is only because of we customers that your employees have jobs and are able to earn money for their livelihood. It was surely the most distraught experience ever so far I've had flying to Muscat with Oman Air thanks to Mr. Amir Suhail. I really hope the management at DNATA helps to send him this poor man for some training and reach out to him thereby helping him emancipate his skills at dealing with customers because with an attitude as such like Mr. Amir Suhail, one would really begin to question at the caliber of people who get recruited at such an accomplished airline establishment like DNATA. I live an earning, support my own expenses and I pay for any service from my own money including taking a flight from my own salary. I only wish that no other customer is ever left with such a unpleasant experience which I was unfortunate to encounter courtesy Mr. Amir Suhail. I really hope DNATA helps the man with getting on with delivering better with other customers and at least not disappointing their flight experience ever.in case the DNATA HR and senior management team needs some help in providing Mr. Amir get some customer service and personality development skills, I work for one of the most reputed universities here in Dubai. Please free to contact me regarding the same and I would be happy to have him signed up and enrolled for some training and wouldn't even mind having it sponsored for him so that he never makes the mistake ever of making a customer's flying experience such a huge disappointment. ticket amount refund delay
Hi,
I booked ticket to Chennai through Dnata on May 1 st later on my trip got cancelled. So I cancelled my ticket through dnata. When I asked for refund Dnata employee told it will take 45 days to get refund. I said ok and waited for 45 days so far I didn’t receive my refund. So far I would have called more than 10 times to dnata office. Everytime without fail they will ask my name and mobile number to contact but nothing will happen.
Moreover I would have send more than 20 email to check but no single response from dnata employee.
Guys I am asking my refund money not asking money from your pocket.
Dnata employee who I was follow up is Preetha (AbuDhabi office). Guys I will never book tickets through Dnata, you had thought me good lesson. Kindly refund my money, I will never step into dnata office.
Forgive me for stepped in once, I assure you it will never happen again but please refund my money.
I am really disappointed with Dnata service.

Dear Dnata Complains department,
It is with regret that I write to you with regards to a terrible customer experience with the staff at the Dnata counter this morning. The Staff by the name of Janith Periera was extremely rude/unfriendly not helping at all at the counter. I had came to the Max upgrade counter, as one of your staff suggested, since the travelers were senior citizens. On asking Janith about his rudeness he became extremely rude and threatening and we had to call for his manager. As suggested by his manager I am posting this complaint here as I do not want other customers going through the same situation. I leave it to the dnata management to deal with their staff .I was planning to book my next flight through the same airline but for now I will defer my travel with this airline due to the horrible experience I encountered with the staff at the counter.
