security guard tried to assault customer with metal basket
They were harassing a aboriginal guy because he grabbed a bunch of bags of chips which he was going to pay for he even went to stand in line. The man left 2 bags of chips on the shelf by check out and security said he stole them. Then security tried to grab the man even though he was paying for his things and the man said not to touch him then security tried to hit him with a metal carry basket.

I bought a mini massage instrument yesterday 22nd of December from Dollarama branch located in 979 Wellington Rd S, Wellington Southdale Plaza, London, ON N6E 3A9 and the instrument wasn't working, today I went to change it from the same branch and I found a very bad handling and customer service from the branch manager, she was shouting and saying that she is not playing in-front of customers, I was really embarrassed and felt bad
Really I decided not to visit this branch again although it is the closest to my home.

security and after incident regret notice
On 26th October 2019, aproximate 6:00 PM, I was shopping inside a Dollarama store adress 255 Morningside Ave/4525 Kingston Road, Toronto, ON M1E 2P1. At one of the aisle inside the store, I was grabbed from behind by a stranger who put a box cutter on my throat. The offender took my phone and was snatching my wallet. I was all alone in that aisle. I screamed for help and tried to run after the offender loosened his grip on me. I fell down and was hurt, the offender was holding a box cutter. He ripped my jacket and, I was injured from this action in back of my lower right side. I was later on assisted by Dollaram staff and customers. I was in trauma. Later on police, EMS and mall security came to the store. The immediate investigation ran for 2 hours there. Next day police apprehended the offender. My cell phone was not recovered. I recovered from my injuries after 10 days. Next Tuesday informed this to my family doctor.

I went into the store at 9:15 am to exchange a pair of sleepers I purchased. I gave the receipt with tags still on. Rudely was told by 2 ladies let me know when ready and she threw them on the counter at me. This relates to an expired that I purchased and complained about around almost a week ago. I received $50 gift card as a compensation yesterday i.e.: Sep. 30, 2019. To my surprise the balance is $0 as I never purchased any item from this card. Just found out from one of the stores and also website, by calling the balance inquiry number which is 1-877-513-1571.
Is this the kind of service Dollarama serves to it's customers, first expired product and then $0 balance on $50 gift card as a compensation ?

I bought certain things that I no longer needed and I was told that I could not return them, even though they were not open, I had the receipt and they were still in the bag. Apparently, Dollarama has a no return policy. I just want you to understand that because of this, I can no longer shop at your establishment and my company and I will shop at another dollar like store that can be reasonable.

Je vien de lacher ma job comme clé au Dollarama. La Gerante fait que chialer apres les nouveau employees pour les erreurs des autres. J'étais supposé d'etre engager comme assistante Gerante, mais elle me disait toute temps fallait j'attend pour le training que il avait plusieurs qui attendais pour le meme training. Elle me mettais souvent en charge pour faire le fermeture ou l'ouverture. J'avait plusieurs responsabilit., et je les accompliait. J'ai eu une rencontre avec Eric le grand boss, et il ma approuver aussi pour le poste. En meeting avec la gerante et Eric les 2 m'ont dit que aussitot les autres savent je vais avoir le poste, qu'il von etre jaloux ou facher, donc il von faire du trouble pour moi. Et C'est drette sa qui es arriver. La Gerante ne voit jamais rien avec ces propres yeux, coincidence? Je fait la fermeture et je fait le facing, ramassage, endommagé etc... Le lendemain matin Kaliska (une autre clé) rentre a 6am, (elle m'aime pas depuis je suis engagé) et 'aparament' mon facing etais pas fait, le ramassage non plus. Je confronte donc la Gerante avec l'employee qui travaillais avec moi cette soir. L'employee lui confirme qu'elle ma vu faire et que le magasin etais a l'ordre quand nous on quitter. Val me prend dans son bureau et me dit j'avait pas droit je parler de ca a l'employee. Sa creer une mauvaise ambiance. Je voulais seulement qu'elle comprend que je fait mon travail. Je l'aimait ma job. Mes journees de conger la gerante m'appel pour rentrer, je le fait sans hesiter. Elle m'appel savoir si je peut rentrer de bonne heure, je le fait. J'ai donner mon 100%. Elle ma chicaner pour avoir parler avec une autre employee en anglais. Que la loi Quebecoise je sait pas trop quoi, dit que on doit parler seulement en francais. Eyyy franchement on parle pas au client en anglai s on se parler entre employee dans l'entrepot. Val depuis qu'elle es la elle engage et envoye. Personne reste. Elle nous met toute a boute parce que la plus vieille clé Kaliska lui liche le cul. Faut que l'Lhorraire soit egale pour toute monde qu'elle dit. Kaliska travaille seulement 6am a 14h ou 15h... elle a pas d'enfant. Moi j'ai 3 enfants et je peut fermer le soir, et ouvrir le lendemain a 6h. Elle ma enleve ma vie de famille. Mais j'ai jamais chialer une seule fois. Tout se que je voulais cetais de travailler, aimer ma job, et supporter ma famille. Elle m'a carrément mit dehors pour l'avoir confronter des les avoirs je ne fait pas, ou que je fait et que les autres dit que non. Val rentre jamais avant 9h il peut ben arriver des choses entre 6am et 9am. Tk bref tout se beau effort que j'ai fait, sa rien servi car pour Val personne es assez bon! Merci beaucoup Dollarama !
krack-o-pop cheese sticks
Hi,
My comments are related to a concern about two bags of cheese sticks we bought today and were surprised to experience awful taste when myself and my son had a few. The taste is really bad due to expired product dated as BB 19JL16.
I am fine but my son is vomiting now.
My question is that since when Dollarama has begun selling expired products ?
I want this matter to be looked into to the earliest possible. Receipt with bags picture is available if needed.
