They are scam artists!
The receptionist was very rude. They said that if a website promoted wrong information especially price wise... That business is held responsible. I told her first of all I am the customer. Your company (early moments) should be behind that company that is falsely promoting this product and price. I was kind enough to speak with early moments, your company, so now I will speak to my bank and get my money back. This company should be ashamed of themselves! I am going to ebay or amazon to purchase my baby girl's dr. Seuss books.

I ordered the 4 books for a dollar, not for 30$ more dollars to be taken out! I want my money back. I never authorized for this money to come out. I just want my money back ASAP. I have a family to take care I can not afford charges like this to pop up. Disguised as a free promotion ends up being a scam that is perpetuated by major companies such as Apple, yet take no responsibility for when stuff like this happens. Perhaps it's time to make an example out of companies who do this to the working class America.

I was actually a subscriber for over a year and a half; initially you would receive emails with what package was next (which helped remind you that books were coming) and you could go in and modify if you wanted the package of books or if you wanted to skip the shipment. Regardless of the email, I regularly went on their website/my home page to see what books were coming (you can change frequency and move shipments up if you wanted; mine is set for every 4 weeks). About 6 months ago I noticed I was charged for a shipment, even though I had no email from them (I checked my inbox, spam, and deleted items and there was no email). I sent an email to their customer service and received a prompt reply (just over 24 hours), as well as a refund.
Unfortunately, the same thing happened earlier this month (January 2019). I went in and cancelled the order for January earlier this month and I noticed I was charged Jan 20th for another shipment (which shouldn't have happened since I had already cancelled my January shipment and the next one shouldn't have shown up until February), again without any email notification saying to check out the next shipment. I sent an email to customer service as soon as I saw the pending charge and I have yet to hear back from them (it's been 6 days). Needless to say, I cancelled my subscription to them. Below is an honest review of their services:
Selection of Books: Mediocre. Starts off with Dr. Seuss and then they throw Bernstein Bears in there but the majority of my selections have been random off the wall books so I ended up cancelling more orders than receiving.
Shipping: Sucks. It can take up to 4 weeks to get a package, even if you select "send sooner". So if you are ordering as a present for someone, order WELL in advance.
Overall Service: Mediocre at best. The concept of letting you know what the next package is coming next so you can review it and cancel/modify it is great, they just don't stick to it and will charge you regardless if you are notified or not. Additionally, it was really crappy that they sent me an extra shipment this month, when it should have been every 4 weeks.
I would not recommend this service to anyone. You are better off finding them in a used book store, or just through another store.

I received a set of unsolicited books. Please cancel my subscription. Originally, I wanted the books for great grand children. I cancelled before because my children live out of town. I donated the books to a children's medical facility. The books are fine and I know they will be enjoyed by the chuldren. They are very educational and should promote learning to read.

I don't know how and why this scam is happening, but it needs to stop. I filled out a questionnaire pertaining to a Walmart gift card and now find myself paying for books that I didn't ask for and on top of that I am not receiving! WTF? To be automatically signed up for a book subscription for wanting to have a chance of a gift card is below any common decency on Earth. I am a senior citizen and have no desire nor need for Disney books. This scam is heading into month 3 at $21.86, and the shame of this scam is that in that entire time I have yet to receive any books and care not to receive any. I will be contacting the BBB to express my concerns about this matter. I am not willing to donate my much needed funds to a scam. I need and want my money back.

My acct was hacked, disney stuff ordered, cr card used without permission. Did not order anything from these people. Money removed from my acct not enough funds to cover charge got hit with bounce check fee. I want my money and check fees returned to my acct. Now! I'm retired and on fixed income. Date of incident 12/06/18, also on 12/28/18 again causing check fees.. Then again 1/06/19. Stop the madness never received product...

This company has the worst customer service ever. I ordered 1 book from them and they signed me up on a continuing book subscription without my knowledge or authorization. They charged my debit card for another set of books. I called them to get a refund of the amount they charged behind my back. The woman I spoke with said "sorry, no refunds, " and hung up. I emailed and called back and forth multiple times with this Early Moments company and they showed complete lack of any customer service. I am thoroughly disappointed with this company and would tell anyone to stay away from them.

I ordered these books for a $1 and for the past 3 or 4 months I have been charged between $28 and $22 once was twice in the same month. I dont and didnt have the extra money to be just have it taken out my account. I normally dont go for offers like this because this is what happens. Long story short I haven't been myself been dealing with deaths in my family but anyway I have been charged overdraft fees in result of the money being taking out. I would like my money back please and thank you I will be contacting my bank as well to see what can be done with the overdraft fees. I just want to be free from this disney books grib and not be cheated again lesson learned. An for the record I tried to cancel and it seemed to go through so that's further more my reason for needing this to stop!

While completing an offer for a survey I requested offer for 4 Disney books for a dollar (1.00). I since received a 21.95 charge to my bank card. I have never signed up for a subscription; only the 4 books for 1.00 and have never gotten any more books. I have read the complaints online and see I am not alone. I really wanted to get three Dr. Seuss books, but something wasn’t setting too well with me. I’m glad I came here and read the reviews. I am on disability, and can’t afford for them to sign me into an ongoing contract I don’t want, and certainly wasn’t in any CLEAR advertising on their website! I did a survey where I could win a 1000.00 Walmart gift card - and had a pop up about getting Disney books for 1.00, which I received, but the following month I was sent more books, which I immediately refused, never opened the box and wrote on the front and back in black magic marker, REFUSED, RETURN TO SENDER. This has been going on for so many months. I call the customer service number and they claim they took care of it, but the next month I get another batch of books, return them, call customer service. Now every couple of days via email, I am sent a notice that my "payment" was refused since I am purposely not keeping my account with credit in it, because I don't want to pay for books I never received. Why can't Disney honor their services? First of all they hook you and then proceed to literally rob you when you actually don't want their services. PEOPLE BE WARNED ABOUT THOSE POP UPS THAT SAY YOU WON 500.00 or ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY, JUST TAKE THE SURVEY, ETC. IT IS A MAJOR SCAM!

This company is shady! only putting the membership information in the terms and conditions. That information should be in plain sight! charging peoples credit cards more than once unless they actually know about it is shady! I would like the refund of my $21 bucks that I did not authorize you to bill me at all. and I'm not paying shipment for books that I didn't authorize to be sent! also cancel the shady membership that you wiggled me into.

So recieved the books but no backpack and no sticker activity book even though it shows on my order invoice! And no one will contact back! SCAM be careful!

My name is Ta'Nea Johnson. I purchased some books (8/2018) from early moments and no where in the ordering process did it show that I would have to sign up for a subscription. Had I known this information, I would have never purchased these books. Even the email that was sent, confirming my order, made no mention of this said subscription. Only found out I was entered into a subscription once I read the slip that came with the books. I want out of this subscription!
