womens soft 7 shoe, marine, upper detaching from sole.
Carmela Briones at Ecco Baulkham Hill's won't replace like for like. The shoes have been returned, (at my expense) are defective as I have an offer of replacement, but not like for like as the marine colour "isn't in stock" - yet the shoes are available to buy on line from Ecco's own site. I own five pairs of Ecco shoes, I won't be buying anymore .

defective sole in golf and casual shoes
I live in Barbados and have been an ECCO loyal customer. I recently noticed that the sole on 2 shoes disintergrated; one was a golfshoe and the second one is casual shoe. I am extremely disappointed and hope Ecco will take corrective actions to compensate me for a defective product.

ecco shoes
I used to love wearing these Ecco shoes. Now I can't… They have split the soles and are crumbling and coming apart… they have only been used in normal wear. No running no jumping no kicking and no sports playing with them on… They were so good and so comfortable at first, but now they have just turned on most into dust! What can you do about this? I have only worn them approximately 10 times.

If you notice in picture depicting bottom of left shoe— The sole is disintegrating- for no apparent reason..
I am not rough on. shoes in fact they take very good care of all of my products.

I understand the point of your German colleagues. If the bag was bought 10 years or more ago, I would never ask for any favor. Even high quality leather has a limited life time.
But the ecco shops in Iran did get their „new collections“ years after the markets in Europe, US or Far East. This is why the hand bag was bought about two years ago.
My question is, if you would accommodate in this case. I am often on business trips in Europe and it would not be an act, to ship the bag wherever you like. Once you see the hand bag, you will immediately learn, that this is a quality issue.
I would be very pleased to here’s positive reply from you.

men's ecco fusion lace shoes, rarely worn, but sole disintegrating
Men's ECCO Fusion Lace shoes (Black color) bought 10/20/12. These were stored in original box (with receipt from a local shoe store) in controlled climate. My husband did not have occasion to wear them very much; they were his "fancy" shoes to wear -with his suit for formal events, although the shoes were not a dressy style, that's what he used them for, as he normally dresses very casually. Yesterday he wore- them with his suit to a professional job interview at the University. During the 3 hours that he was wearing them, he began to notice that he was leaving black debris on the floor. When I picked him up on campus, he was examining the material he was leaving behind, thinking he had stepped in something. We found he'd left a trail in the garage and the car as well. Looking at the bottom of the shoes, they were split open and debris was falling out. The sole was also pulling away from the entire heel of the left shoe. The rubber logo on the back of the heel was also falling apart, while the leather uppers and laces, etc, were in beautiful shape. I immediately recognized what was happening, as I had bought two pair of women's ECCO newbuck shoes previously that had disintegrated while I was wearing them to nice events. The leather tops of my shoes also were in beautiful shape, and I wore only rarely for nice occasions when they started disintegrating. I had bought mine in the 1990's when I was raising small children and had been really frustrated that I had paid so much, on a very meager budget, for beautiful comfortable shoes only to have them fall apart with very little use. I reluctantly tossed mine in the garbage because I just didn't have time to deal with it. The receipt I have for my husband's shoes shows that I got them on sale for $114.99 with $9.49 sales tax coming to a total of $124.48. These shoes were not worth the cost, and I am requesting some sort of restitution in form of repair, replacement, or refund.

ecco shoes the soles have deteriorated and made a mess in our house.
Soles have become rotten. Would you please replace them? What more do we need say? I had Timberland Boots that had sole that deteriorated same way and they replaced them. I think that you are good as Timberland and you will take care of this problem for us. The Dillard's sales manager for ladies shoes said that you were a good and honest company that took care of your customers.

I rarely wear these shoes and although i have had them for a few years, I have only worn them for dinners where dress shoes are needed. Perhaps 25 times total.
You can see the "wear indicators" on the soles show little use.

I've owned five pairs of Ecco shoes, and every pair soles have disintegrated. The first pair, Berlin model black dress casuals I wore three times. Mind you these were $200 pair of shoes. I put them on one day for a friend's wedding, you know long hours standing, toasting, and dancing, I figured my Ecco's were going see me through it. Imagine my surprise walking out to my car and the soles dissolving underneath me leaving black "footprints" on the sidewalk. I had to dig out an old pair of black military oxfords to make it through wedding with the dress tux.
I was instructed by Ecco Customer Service to send them to NuShoe out in California, who promptly informed me that the soles had disintegrated (no, duh) and sent me a $50 Warranty voucher towards another pair of Ecco's. I used it at the Ecco shoe store near me and was informed by the salesman, "yes, we've had problems with the old style polyurethane soles and it's been corrected." Fine I thought and I bought a pair of brown Dress/Casual Oxfords, which lasted five years, I later bought three more pairs, two of which were "on Sale".
I changed jobs where I was required to wear Safety Boots, and put the oxfords on the shelf. Imagine my surprise when I checked them out a short time, about a year, and all three pairs, the soles are disintegrating. That misrepresentation from Ecco Customer Service in the above comment being only 1%, is just that, a LIE.
Right now I'm looking for a shoe repair company that may repair the Ecco's as the leather uppers are quality leather. NuShoe is not on my list as they ruined another pair of boat shoes by putting a Vibram sole on them. Though NuShoe did refund the repair cost, I was still out shipping as well as a fine pair of boat shoes with plenty of life left.

Ecco claims their shoes are warrantied, but they may refuse to honor their warranty. It used to be that they would just replace your shoes. This is my 4th problem pair. In the first 2 the stitching pulled out, and with the 3rd the rubber sole disintegrated -- maybe a batch of uncured rubber? They replaced all of them, no problem. But in this case it was the design of the shoe itself that was at fault, and in such cases they retire the shoe and won't honor their warranty. If you're looking at shoes that are on sale online, these are likely to be shoes are being retired (not all sizes may be available, for example, an indication that they're no longer being made) and therefor will not warrantied despite the guarantee.
For this case, I had a defective pair of hiking boots which I sent in and Ecco agreed they were defective. They was advertised as having a leather upper, but the back of the shoe had a rubber-filled hole in it, and of course the stitching pulled out of the rubber, so they got wet inside (between the inner and outer lining) and started to mildew. When I bought the shoe, I thought the rubber was a patch stitched on TOP of the leather, just a place for them to put their logo, but when it pulled out there was no leather underneath, and I could stick my finger through the shoe. I sent them back, but they will not replace them with another pair of hiking boots. Instead, their "warrantee" is a $100 voucher for regular shoes or $150 for boots, which is not enough to replace them online. (You can only use the voucher online.) They say this is because the line has been discontinued (presumably because it was defective), and I might have bought them on clearance. But they're not giving me cash back, so what does that matter how much I paid for them? I just want them to honor their warranty by giving me a replacement. My local Ecco brick&mortar store said they'd be willing to replace them (even though I hadn't bought them their -- I though that was very generous of them), but Ecco won't send me back the shoes to take to the store. Evidently they dispose of them as they come in, so I'm out of luck.
So, if they retire your line of shoe, they will refuse to honor their warranty -- and they retire a lot of shoe lines! When I was in my local store to compare 3 lines of possible replacements, they advised me not to buy one of them because they've been getting a lot of complaints about how sweaty it makes your feet and it's being discontinued. If you only buy shoes that have been around for decades, you're probably fine. But any new model, or anything on sale online, and the "warranty" may only cover half the price of the shoe or less.

soles disintegrating on pair of ladies casual shoes
On wearing these shoes last week I was flabbergasted to discover on my return home that the soles on both shoes have split across the ball of the foot.
These shoes are summer, casual leather lace ups and I was particularly keen to wear them this summer. I have had Ecco shoes in the past and have been very satisfied with them but these have very little wear and are now unwearable and they were not cheap so I am very disappointed. Unfortunately I do not have receipt or remember the store they were purchased from.
I am hoping the problem can be rectified by yourselves by sending a voucher to purchase a replacement pair. I attach photos showing the faulty soles.

ecco biom fjuel men shoes leather tearing apart.
I bought Ecco Biom Fjuel mens shoes size 43 in Edinburgh Nov 2017 and have not kept receipt. I was told that shoes has Yak Leather
That keeps shoes last longer than ordinary leather but in 18 months leather is start tearing apart, disintegrating. I am fan of Ecco and still wearing Crepetray hybrid and biom C and they are so comfortable but this particular shoes are far from its standard. Please see the pictures. Thanks

My name is Rod Jones and I'm writing you on behalf of my 82-year-old mother, Jeanette Jones. About two years ago I purchased a pair of $200 Ecco shoes directly from Ecco's website as a gift for my mom. She only wears these particular black shoes to church and/or funerals. She has been sick most of the past two years so she hasn't been at church that much and, consequently, the shoes haven't been worn much at all.
Also the shoes are cared for and kept in a dry closet On shelving where she keeps her other shoes. But about two weeks ago she brought these shoes to my home when she visited and she was in tears... The soles of the shoes have disintegrated… We were both stunned by seeing this! My mom & I are longtime advocates of Ecco's primarily because of the comfort, style, & durability of their products. There is no environmental cause that would explain the rotting/loss of elasticity in the soles. The only reasonable explanation is that it is attributable to a supplier or manufacturing defect during its production at Ecco. I would really appreciate if the company could replace the shoes for my mother. I am including pictures so you can see the damage.

faulty ecco shoes
I bought Ecco shoe for my sister on 15/04/2019 from high street kilkenny Ecco store. They said they will email me receipt which they never did.
My sister wore shoes, she hardly walked 200 meters and while getting off an escalator stairs in a shopping centre, the insole of one shoe cam loose suddenly, she slipped and fell down. Luckily she had no injuries. Insole came off the shoe. I took shoe back to store on 30/4/19, showed the my bank payment receipt. Sales assistant changed the insole to a lower quality insole which was very loosely put in.
I requested either shoe to be replaced to a new pair or return it as it was still within 28 days time frame and was used only for less than 200 meters. The sales assistant was rude, she refused to help anymore. She kept the shoe and said manager is on leave and will call you in one week. Till now I have not heard anything from manager. They have my shoe and money. Need a solution.

soles cracked and came off
I had a pair of hiking boots and didn't wear too much, after ~3 years from purchase, both soles came off totally.
Recently the pair of leather dressing shoes I bought about 3 years ago started having the soles cracks and glue bond breakage.
Somehow it seems to me the soles are intentionally designed to fail after a few years no matter the usage. The one year warranty just doesn't cover.

ecco's shoe caused corns, no refund on $123 shoe
I recently bought a pair. When I tried them on they felt good. However 1 day later, I was walking around and felt the shoe was tight and making my foot hurt.
I thought it was because the shoe needed to be broken in. I have worn them for about 10 days since purchase. The shoes are very painful to walk in and have given me a corn. I have been wearing ecco's since 2002, with the original Track shoe. This was a strange departure from my Ecco experience.
I contacted ECCO for an exchange of the shoe for another model.
Their response was that it was not in their policy. I understand that. But for a $123 shoe, I was expecting a much better experience and fit. Sadly I will not buy ECCO again.

defect in ecco gray golf shoes
Hello Ecco,
As you can see from the photos I am an Ecco fan and customer. In addition to golf shoes, I have Ecco dress shoes, walking/hiking shoes and even Ecco sandals. Ecco shoes are great for my feet.
I am very disappointed with one pair of Ecco golf shoes. They are gray and stained very quickly in early use just from getting them wet.. The stains have resisted removal. I am open to replacement or repair or refund.

mens black dress loafer - sole disintegrated... at airport!
I have multiple pairs of Ecco mens shoes and my wife has even more womens Ecco shoes. I just had an awful experience with my black dress loafers, I was walking through the airport and as I approached security line my soles just started disintegrating! The TSA agent and two policemen were standing there in front of me watching pieces of my sole just fall off leaving a trail of black rubber gunk!
What a horror story! They of course stopped me before entering the line, asked me what was going on with my shoes, and I had no idea. I had to take them off and everyone just stared at them. Finally the TSA agent said "you aren't going through security with those!"
So I go plodding through the airport to a Sketchers store the police officer told me about, and buy a pair of almost identical mens black dress loafers. I had no way to carry the shoes that were falling apart, plus TSA already told me the shoes were not going through security, so I had to leave them at the Sketcher's store in Orlando airport! Of course the Sketcher's employees were really enjoying this, took some pictures, and proudly set them on a small table in front of their mens dress shoes as an example of Ecco quality!
This was an awful experience, I was almost late for my flight, and I think TSA still thinks I may be a "person of interest!" Plus I had to pay airport prices for an emergency replacement of my shoes as I was heading to an important meeting in Boston!
Now I find out as I search the web there are 100's if not more complaints about this very problem with Ecco shoes, but I don't see anything pointing to Ecco addressing the issue.
What is up?! Are you doing anything about this? Are you replacing these defective shoes?

shoes soles disintegrated
My favorite shoe brand is (was?) Ecco. Unfortunately I have discovered that the soles of several pairs have disintergrated after not being worn this winter. My family traveled across country to a wedding to which my son brought his good pair of Eccos which he hadn't worn lately not having to get dressed up recently. As we were walking into the wedding venue his soles seemed to explode on the walkway, both soles literally fell apart into little pieces all over the walkway. How embarrassing and good thing he caught on to us before he fell down. He got the car back from the valet, drove in his socks back to the hotel to get his other more casual pair that thankfully was not too far away and he didn't miss the ceremony. This experience prompted me to check out my Eccos after returning home. The soles of several of our Eccos had the same issue and they fell apart as soon as we put them on and walked a few feet. We have had these shoes for a few years but have never seen this before and we have been wearing the Ecco brand for a long time.
I'm attaching pictures of three of the pairs of shoes (one shoe of each pair) but was not able to photograph or collect the exploded soles/shoes from the very embarrassing wedding event.
All together there are four pairs of Ecco shoes that disintegrated, two women pairs and two men's pairs.
Please advise on how Ecco will resolve this problem, why it happened and how to prevent in the future. Thank you.
