Whilst checking my statement for August '23, I discovered purchases on my account which I have not applied for, for July and August, with R59 each.
I immediately send e-mails to the address provided on the bill as well as to RCS requesting to investigate the unauthorized purchases and to rectify my account.
During September I decided not to make payment but suddenly received phone calls as to none payment, after several discussions I was promised that the matter will be investigated and that my account will be rectified. After paying the amount due I phoned the offices again but it became my problem to solve as the answer I got is that there was no feedback yet, and that I must phone or e-mail the given department (which I did, but since I have not received the latest statement I am not sure whether the issues have been sorted out and if my account was rectified). If it is claimed that I applied for the services I wish to hear the recording as I never received any purchase contract.
I am a Edgars client for over 13 years and never been so disappointed, I am thinking of rather closing my account to avoid future disappointments.
Desired outcome: I would like Edgars to rectify and refund my account from July to date with the billed R59 per month
