Call center person Mr Junaid
This is to bring to your kind notice that I called the call centre on 31/12/2022 at 8.55 am after finishing my online lectures and wanted to book my theory test and I was attended by Mr Junaid at call centre number ([protected]). I asked him to book my theory test and he told be that I need to book my theory test on my own by going on to the link which he will send me. I again asked him that if there is some other way to book my test or he can book my test date and time and he straight away refused and told me that I need to book the test on my own.
I opened the link he sent me and I was totally confused how to proceed and book my test. I again called the call centre and this time the other executive heard me properly and explained me and also raised a request for my theory test (for preferred date and time) and shared with me the request number.
This is my feedback as a customer that the way I was misguided by Mr Junaid was not acceptable and not expected out from a reputed driving school like EDI. I expected that he would have guided me properly.

Classes delayed
Had been 3 months since i openedy filed. When you are open all they give you is green lands and dont tell the dirty truths. Even after paying 8000 for complete course this schooll will find ways to take money from your pocket. Very pathetic service and very negligible support staff. Had called the call center 6 times now to get only 1 remaining class but their response is as cold as always.

Lots and lots of delay at every point
I joined EDI 4 months back just considering your brand value, but I understand that the reality is worse I wait for a week to get theory mock test and a week to get theory test and a month to get my practical after theory exam, now I need to wait for 2 weeks to get night class and I don’t know how long will it take to get license.
When I discussed this with your customer care he told me, this is EDI and that was mentioned in terms and conditions in an arrogant way.
I need to mention one thing that the trainer I got was brilliant and professional, I appreciate that (Just that)
On the other side there are other driving institutes serving much faster service to there students.
Please try to make your services faster
I know EDI have the best technology, best trainers, and the best setting with lots and lots of delay.
It would be great if you could raise this issue and sort out in near future.

I have been calling EDI every time because I want to start my training classes.

I have already waited 2 weeks after my book opening and i want to start the driving classes but every time I call and ask EDI why is my classes not fixed yet they will tell me to wait 2 weeks
At first they told me you have to wait 2 weeks after opening file from edi, after that they told me wait 2 weeks after passing edi theory test, now They are again lying to be saying my classes will start after 2 weeks of payment. I have been waiting too long already
If I wait more longer my driving learner permit will expire.
EDI if you cannot provide driving classes please tell before a customer register in your institute.

Too much delay over and above the waiting period
When I got admission in EDI, it was like they are serving to you as equal as to all. But once the full payment has been done. They are doing what original they are supposed to do with partiality. I am waiting since long for my practical training to start, so many times I have called up them, requested, but all the time only one answer is coming up is ' We will make it on priority', and no one will believe that their priority commitment is also getting delayed. Rubbish, with good name of EDI, they are fooling up people, 'If someone as EDI's representative will say' what can we do sir' it's not in our hand', then?
Once the period of three months will get expire, I have to renew the work permit by paying additional charges, the reason being late by EDI to provide its services. Even reckless answer I am getting on this.
Is this the way to treat the user?

Platinum driving cousre vip -fixed
I had enrolled for "PLATINUM DRIVING COUSRE VIP -FIXED" with contract number as "[protected]". attached is the receipt for additional money taken from me inspite of having a fixed contract. they took extra AED 2200 from me even though i had a fixed contract. I asked them for the contract copy which I signed and they never producted the same in the Platinum lounge in Al Qusais branch.

RTA road test date required
Dear EDI management team please provide me road test date as i passed my articulated test on 09-11-2022.
And today is 23-11-2022. Like 15 days passed and the call center said that it will be next month. It means that you will give me one month waiting. Please give me the test date in two to four days.
Otherwise close your school or change the management, because it like just playing with people emotion just for money.

I am struggling with your team tonget my status changed in the portal for the past 3 weeks since my successful theory test result. I have alo met your test incharge to get this done. Supervisor and inspectors
- The worst service I had ever faced in my life I had paid 9000 AED for unlimited to get the respect and the good treat and I have complained about many things I was not happy about it, there are no managers cares about the customer, I spoken to supervisor in the morning he was Pakistani but he showed that he has 0 customers service
- The owner of Emirates driving school he should care more about training supervisor and inspector how to deal with students
- The inspector because I came 5 mins late he marked me as absent, and I called him and he did not tell me that we gonna mark you as absent. He told me come do not worry and suddenly when I called them to book new test they told me you have to pay 500 AED because of absence which is doesn’t make sense to me after paying 9500 AED,

Misinformation was given to me regarding classes
Staff will only tell every is in process
I didn't receive a confirmation of my classes until i called the customer care to refund
After an hour they sent me a confirmation regarding my class schedule. Very smart move to get more money from customer.
When i asked for refund they said Friday they are halfday , saturday they are closed sunday the refund department is closed.
They will work only on their comfortable hours. They dont care after you paid. Customer service is very poor
And one more thing from the beginning, calls, i have requested for male instructor but they’ve given me a female instructor.

NOC for Transfer to another school
I am so fed up with the scheduling waiting periods of EDI. Also the rules for filing sick leaves and absences were way more difficult than actual schools and companies even more so the equivalent payments for added classes. I've taken the road test 3x and not satisfied with my results and I requested for NOC for transferring to other driving schools since I dont want to waste time and effort in waiting for schedules and hassle only to for instructors ran out of lessons for me since they deem me to be ready for the exam just to be failing each try. I am enrolled with the fixed package and they told me I have to pay 1k dhs + just to pull my file out. I am not getting the logic of wanting to stop my lessons and not take them anymore and still I have to pay large amounts. Am I not doing EDI a favor of having to pull out rather than taking lessons again and again if they are also failing me again and again? Why do I have to pay such a big amount for that I just want to end my suffering and anxiety going over and over with the classes, instructors raising my hopes up telling me im good to go and then just for me to fail as if I am not learning properly with EDI.
Desired outcome: Transparency on the payment breakdown and logic explaination on why I have to pay again even I just want to transfer, I've paid in cash for fixed price already

Driving lesson
I have registered myself with EDI last August 2,2022 for a driving lesson, Full session of 20hrs. After that I did my lessons online and booked my theory exam on 21st August, and it was cancelled due to slot priority. I booked another one the second time around on 24th August and Passed it. They have given me 3 weeks "waiting time" (Read your agreement with them because it is written). The next Step which is Practical Training, well I have waited for 3 weeks and no updates, I called twice today 15th September to follow up however they say the same thing "they will follow up the matter and someone will get back to me". I took the unlimited lesson from them, however the RTA rule is that I have to renew my Practical Permit after 3 months without taking the RTA test with a certain fee even if you took an unlimited application. I haven't taken the lesson yet and I'm losing my time.
They must increase the number of staff to work with them to accommodate all applicants or else do not commit to the applicant. They wasted too much time for WAITING. By the way, the training room is not clean. I got bitten by bugs and asked the facilitator to remove the chair inside the training room.

Driving training practical classes
I passed my theory test and goes for practical classes they give me 15 September date to start with I told him to avoid Saturday because I'm living in Alfala and unable to come on Saturday still he give me 4 classes which is coming on Saturday. When I see I told him why you give me Saturday. He reply o sorry but no problem once you start you can change that time. But in school policy which I check later I need to inform before two working days. Now today I came to inform or change the day. Now they told me if you change one classes all classes will be rescheduled to November what was that totally unfair even after paying money

Irrational behaviour and harassment by the driving school - [protected]
After i failed my RTA driving class, i proceeded to schedule my 4 hours night class with my preferred instructor. I was told my preferred instructor was only available from 9pm-11pm (unlike 8pm-10 pm). I agreed since I wanted my training with the said instructor. All the scheduling happened directly at AL quoz center. On the day of training ( 09.09.2022) i received a message at 4 pm stating my training is with some other instructor. I went to the center to seek clarification and it was apparent that it was a mistake from the scheduling guy but they convinced to take the class and i obliged. During the class, my instructor, was called in from EDI as there was a police complaint filed against him by one of his student. During the incident, I requested the class scheduling officer to reschedule my class, which he refused. So, I waited till the matter is resolved with the police and the instructor took my class till 11 pm and logged in and logged out using my emirates ID. Now i received a call from EDI stating my Friday class is not counted and I still have to take 2 more hours class. This is unreasonable and blatant disregard to the time of the student. I am a working women and have a one year old baby and they are being insensitive and not listening to me for an issue which is not my mistake at all.
Desired outcome: The class I took on friday ([protected]) have to be counted towards my 2 hour class and stop unneccesarily harassing me.

Unprofessionalism

Iam really dissatisfied with your school in Al Quoz. Because yesterday i was supposed to have a school assessment test at 5PM. But i was late by 15 minutes as i didnt get taxi on time. I waited for 25 minutes to finally get a taxi. I called the EDI customer care and informed them about this. Finally when I reached there the examiner refused to take the test as i was not on time. Iam disappointed because even though I left 2 hours early from the office, keeping away from my busy work schedule, I couldn't take the test. Also I came to know that the school has imposed a 250 Aed penalty for not being on time. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. You may have policies and all but you should also try to understand the customer situation, How difficulties we are coming to the test keeping away the busy work schedules. Iam really dissatisfied, never tell any of my friends to join this school and will post negative reviews as well.

I already mailed your team and called them 2-3 times But it is just waste of time. they keep saying the same. As they did both to me, Means didn't give me the chance to attend the test on the same day and also imposed me a 250 Aed penalty, At least they should compromise one thing here. Worst Customer Service EDI with Policy and procedure.
Really dont know where to start and end from as there is long list of complaints...
To start with wrong information during enrolling and and not pointing on hidden policies and charge, they claim its explained in detials with documents, funny part is documents comes via SMS and its only upon payment only.
2nd - ITs been 9 months my wife is struggling to clear her parking test , as training are eager to finish class in 40 min, for 1 hr class and provides hope to trainee that they know everything and not required.
We accepted AED 8000 package but there is its unlimited but for every minute changes or information there is charges, which is in tiny letters.
If you fail is parking test, its take 15 days min to get another class and followed by RTA test, example, if you fail for 4 times, 2 months has already pass by. even experienced drivers take time to learn new things on road and with a gap of 15 days to 30 days who will remeber and cycle keeps on repeting.
Now customer service - No One has any clue within their own departments, my wife arrived for test and she informed manager about the situation and he promised test can be postponed on coming day, and this was not updated in EDI system and they want to charge because she is marked absent by trainor..because of EDI policy and procedures is so pathetic and just fir minting more money by delaying and spreading bad wibes among the entire group.
Solution - With good EDI policy and procedures company can grow and will spread good words which will give more business in future, fetching money in wrong way will never help them and more you delay in clearing test because of lack of training and they are wasting time and productivity for trainer and trainee both.

Rta parking test coming very late
I try to book today for rta smart yard parking test in alqouz baranch they said its available only after 3 weeks which is too much late I have pending only my one grage parking why its taking 3 weeks waiting? I have been told that my waiting period for practical training will be 5 weeks after my registration 9 April 2022. I passed my theory test and they told me to wait for another week for my practical training. However, 4 months have passed until my RTA permit has expired. I called them again and they told me to pay 140aed to renew my RTA permit an they will call me within a week.
So I call them again and they told that I have to wait for another week. It's been 4 months now and they keep promising.
Therefore I request return my registration fees 4000/-AED as you failed to fulfill your commitment and I don't want to waste my time, effort and money with EDI.

Road assessment test
Today, I failed the road assessment test in which out of 5, I made 3 mistakes which cause immediate failed.
But, I am very surprised to hear from the assessment lady that as per EDI rule only allow 2 hours class not more than that even I have done major mistakes and needs more classes.
I want someone to immediate take action on this as this is not convey to me earlier else I will never ever go for edi training.
