Biggest mistake to choose edi and I am struggling in summer with my family.

I have completed my family my theory test on 12th of June and although my registration is done in month of April my hold period 4 Weeks completed on 12th of July and after that calling daily basis to EDI but no update from your side.
Is it the way ? To teat ...i am in hurry to get my license due to family i flet like cheated and got fool.

I have been told that my waiting period will be 2 weeks after my theory test during registration and it is also mentioned in my registration form however training started after 40 days on 29th May 2022 after sending an email and was completed in 8 days on 13th June which included 6 days of training for 2 Hrs, 1 day for 30 min, and 1 day 30 min for night class. total 14 Hrs classes, even though there was no roundabout training given during training. and asked me to book for Assessment test, as I was not prepared well so I failed the assessment and raise a request for further class on 24th June but it is been more than 20 days no training classes been given,
Therefore I request you to please return my registration fees 6640/-AED as you failed to fulfill your commitment and I don't want to waste my time and money with EDI.

No classes being scheduled for over 2 weeks
Dear Sir,
I have passed my RTA Parking test on 19th June 2022 against the registration number [protected] and raised a request for my highway/solo training classes to be conducted so as I can proceed with the next step inorder to appear for the final test, but till date as on 4th July 2022, I have not received any call back for the class schedule from EDI, despite of regular reminders been made via customer care (atleast 8 calls on different days have been made till now), to no avail or suitable action by EDI.
Unfortunately it has been a very bad experience so far with so long waiting time frames as a student tend to miss out practice if they are been made to wait for such long periods without any proper reason or justification from EDI, other than just keep waiting for the call for schedule.
Request EDI to kindly look into the matter on top priority basis, or else please stop enrolling more students unless EDI can cater the ones already enrolled with your institute.
Seek for suitable resolution to the case please.

Forced change of instructor
I wanted to book a class with my regular instructor who has been there with me from the beginning. Upon calling today, the 1st of July 2022 I get to know that he has been transferred from Automatic to Manual and that I cannot have classes with him anymore. Why are the students supposed to go through this change? Every instructor has a way of teaching and I am accustomed to my instructor's ways. I need my instructor back. we as students cannot accept this type of behavior from the management. How can they change tracks for students like that. Get my instructor back to automatic asap. I've had many different instructors in my other institute and I understand the value of a good one. I do not wish to learn from any other. I transferred to EDI in hopes of better judgement from the management. Kindly get my instructor back to Automatic.

Sir I belong to national taxi and I am taking liecnse from national company as a beginer. Sir I have many complaint that I can't describe in these small compalaint letter. Sir I start from first. I collect my rta signal test on 20th april and my other friend collect the same test on 28th april and his classes is start in 18 days and my classes start in 33 days. Sir I always go on metroo after 3 days or 2 days and I begged that sir plz when my claases is start. He says we will call you. Sir we are normall people from accommodation whe have to walk 25 minut to metroo. Sir this is small complain I have more complain. And another is that the man his name is ansari sir u can ask from anyone national taxi persone. He is so characterless man he always rude with you always crying on you always teasing you. Sir plz remove this man. Unsatisfactory Experience and Online Queue Appointment Drama
I am writing to you to let you know how disappointed I am with Unsatisfactory Experience from some of the staffs of Abu Dhabi Emirates Driving School. And Especially about Online Queue Appointment System Drama. In Entire Building of the EDCAD displays Online Queue Appointment but if you choose a slot and book an Appointment and Visit the School, You will receive the response from the Staffs of EDCAD that *We will not Accept the Appointment Token*
Then why they showing always in their entire building their Online Queue Appointment Service.?
Today i visited EDCAD for Just book an Theory Exam Test Date at morning 5:15 AM and after more than one hour later they allowed me to enter the school for ticket and wait there half an hour. I didn't get Token. Finally they again came to me and Inform me to go another building.
Why they can't tell me at the beginning itself. ? I got Token very delayed token
I'm really disappointed with MOST OF THE SECURITIES of EDCAD and A STAFF STAFF.

Dear team,
I want to inform you that I have registered with edi on february 2022 and I passed my mock test in march 2022. My classes after so many calls and complaints I got it on april and then they made me wait after the 15 classes for the exam and after two attempts I passed my initial road assessment test. After that again after so many calls got my parking class and then I couldnt get it so I was waiting for so long for just a one hour class. They make me wait for almost 5 months.
Edi is very bad not planned at all. I regret for joining him. I want my refund back.

Worst customer service / waste of time / long waiting period
Just like others I too have long waiting periods and no action taken. Done everything I can to start pratical training and all I get is "fake promises" of call backs. It's time consuming and money waste. I have been waiting for 1 weeks now to get my practical training started. Yet all I get is more waiting. The call centers keep repeating same lines that they sent special requests. They could have just been honest and told beforehand that I would have to wait this long in the first place rather than making fake promises and no action.

Training / classes scheduling, duping clients via misinformation or concealing facts
I am a student of Emirates Driving Institute (EDI) Al Quoz Branch. I cleared my Initial/Internal Driving Assessment on 28th April and I raised a request on the same day bearing the request number [protected]. While booking the request, it was informed you will receive a call within 4 days.
Thereafter my class for Internal Yard was finally scheduled after more than a month on 2nd June 2022 and I appeared for my Internal Yard Assessment exams on 03rd June 2022 wherein I cleared 4 out of 5. Thereafter, on the same day I raised a request to schedule my class. I tried to explain them that please don't delay it as the gap will not be helpful for me while appearing for my RTA exams. I have been following up with them twice a week and they keep on changing their stance. Initially they say, you will receive the call within 7 days, then when you follow up on 8th day they say you will receive call within 10 days. Same way, the last I heard it was around 20 days one has to wait.
I paid a lumpsum amount of approx. AED 7000. While paying the amount and while joining, it was informed to us there will be waiting for 2-4 weeks initially, but once onboarded and your class starts, there will not be any delay and it will be a smooth ride. So I don't understand why there is a delay of more than a week? The ideal turnaround time to obtain the Driving License said while joining was will be 4-5 months. In worst case, it will go upto 6 months.
Giving a week break is not beneficial to the student's confidence and institute too, as it will take more of your classes if the student keeps failing.
With other institute, the preference is given to lumpsum payee whereas in EDI, they are put on hold... My friend is registered with EDI Al Qusais, we started the classes at the same time but he has cleared his RTA Parking and is now waiting for the RTA Final Test.. He also failed thrice in internal, thrice in internal parking and twice in RTA Parking and once failed in RTA Final Test whereas with me, I am still trying to get class for the Internal Parking and have just cleared 1st stage.
Also, for a small center like Al Quoz, there are far more students than the place can hold. It is evident from the lead time it takes for any student in scheduling classes OR to book a test whether it is parking or Internal or Road Test. If they don't have capacity to handle that many students, they should increase the waiting period of new students and try to clear the existing students.
I keep on calling the institute call center but they don't seem to be interested in redressing any of the customer concern. They are just saying it is under process, it is under process. It is one of the horrible customer service industry I have encountered in UAE.
Even I have tried their online platform, have got no words to describe how useless and unfriendly the platform it is.
I have tried to reach out to them on their number, have written them mail but my requests have been royally ignored. I have been left with no option then to find a new ways to complaint and hope they listen to me. I hope and pray they will address my concern via this platform.
Desired outcome: 1. Existing Student should be prioritize and try to finish of their course within the stipulated time period of 4-6 months at worst case. 2. To get the classes within 1 week once it is scheduled as promised earlier.

I am experiencing the same with EDI . I enrolled with the Al Quoz branch in Feb 2022 and yet to reach the RTA smart yard test itself . For every fail ,the waiting period by the branch is minimum 10 days to schedule the next class . I also argued the same that such long waiting period brings down the morale of the student.
I was not made aware of such long waiting period before I had enrolled for the unlimited batch . All I was informed was there will be a 2-3 week waiting after the theory test but they never mentioned long period between each failed assessment and class scheduling .if this was informed well in advance I would have reconsidered my decision to join the institute . All they informed was with unlimited it’s takes 3-4 months to get the license and with VIP it takes 30 days
I also got 4 out of 5 pass in my parking but for the 1 hr parking class , I have been told the minimum waiting period is 10 days . I have my friends and colleagues who have taken up driving from other institutes and they also find this all new and theirs seems to be going smoothly .
I had selected this institute for its reputation but I am thoroughly disappointed wrt scheduling of classes.Such long waiting period even makes it difficult to plan travel .

Training schedule allotment
I cleared my theory test and they told me about 3 weeks waiting time for training scheulde. Now 6 weeks are gone and no update from edi. I called them some 5 times and every time they have same useless words like it will schedule in 2-3 days, couple of days, as soon as possible etc. And you obviously you are not going to have any call.
If someone paid money in advance to edi, then you are gone. You can wait for at least 1 year to get your license.
People recommend me to not go with edit but still I did this mistake. Please stay away from this school.

No matter what situation you have or may have in the future, one golden advice: Stay away from this hell satanic place.
Liers, thieves, giving false promises always. You start with 3000 AED, you end up with 8000 AED and more to pay. (I haven't finished my EDI licensing nightmare).
Let's say you book classes, or training, or whatever thing, after making payment, you are screwed for good.
No one will call you later from the team for booking, fake functions on the website. They only working functions are : receiving a payment, and watching video tutorials.
Online booking system is a scam. You are in EDI, you are stuck.
If you didn't go with the premium package( if u didn't pay over 9000 AED upfront) you are doomed until they juice every fils from you until they get the standard stealing rate from the student.
When you fail RTA test, EDI is the only crooked institute which will charge you over 900 AED to redo it( of course they have fancy explanations in the invoice) but different schools in UAE will charge less than 300 to rebook the failed RTA test.
Aside from this and their terrible customer representatives. You want something, they send u left and right .. and u don't even get what you want. All you get: we have raised a ticket for you.
3 to 5 business days means literally 22 to 40 days.
Failing reasons range from super retarded to super funny reasons. They just keep failing you and sucking the 900~ AED until you have paid an enough amount to cover their greedy needs.
Sorry for the long post but trust me it's not about driving, even if you drive for the past 20 years, and even if you meet their passing requirements, it alllllll comes to money

I passed the RTA parking test last May 20, and immediately booked my mandatory classes before taking the RTA final road test.
It's almost 1 month of waiting, getting promises from the customer HAPPINESS team that I'll get my schedule with high priority but until now, nothing happened. I already received a call this morning that I'll have my schedule tomorrow, but they called me back to tell me it was a mistake.

I cleared my RTA yard test on 21st of May 2022, After that I called to schedule the Independent and Highway training, but still I am yet to receive any call from EDI, I called the call center several times every time they will say that I will receive in couple of days but no response, it is very irresponsible on EDI side and very worst service. I passed my RTA Parking test on 28th May and immediately raised a request for the pending classes. The 'independent' class was scheduled for May 31 and as is the usual system here, they asked me to raise a request for my highway class (Despite my request to them to schedule it on May 28 itself). I was told that I will receive a call back within 7 days. It has been 11 days and I am yet to hear back on when they will SCHEDULE the class.
The gap between classes stretches into months and I am still to give my first test after starting the process in Feb (Despite passing my parking test on my second attempt)

I have been registered for driving LMV on 03 April 2022 and cleared my Theory test on 18 April 2022.
Your team said that you will receive a call for a practice session and its timings will be allocated post 5 weeks.
8 Weeks have already passed but, still I didn't receive any call from your team. I have made a complaint for the same at your call center as well as at your office where I got myself registered but no reply or revert back came.
My learning license will expire on 04 July 2022 and still i haven't started to learn driving.

This is the 3rd time I had renewed my learning permit! I immediately booked my class since 1st week May 2022 i didnt get a confirmed class.
First they booked me and eventually cancelled it on the day of class. Closed the ticket and then opened a new ticket.
My permit will again expired and I have to pay for the 4th time around renewal fee.

This is to bring to your notice on 11th May 2022, I had failed my parallel test, as per process they requested me to have the 1 hr training, same day I visited the quasis branch and opted for the training, as usual it was requested that someone would callback till 11th May until today haven’t got a single call only I have been calling and only thing I can hear that someone would call and we have escalated…but 0 result, it’s almost 5 weeks… this very worst customer service I have scene and will surely have this escalated further on LinkedIn.
Also now I have to pay 141 to renew my permit, but there is no call yet
