Service and waiting time
If you’re thinking about applying in edi DON’T its the worst service for customers who pay thousands. Firstly the waiting time is never on time they say 1week its ends up being 3-4weeks before u get confirmation they dont help the customers what so ever always being rude and ignorant. 2nd the driving instructors there mostly don’t even teach you anything their always on their phone with their own work and ignorw us and test time what we learned is never enough to pass hence again need to pay and wait another 2 weeks before classes then again book test.
Desired outcome: Waiting time needs to be improved and their driving instructors who don’t teach anything for classes and send for test which will result in fail for beginners.

I did finish all my learning tests, Theo, Simulator test and now I'm supposed to start my practical training on June 4 , I've been to their booth in al Ghuriar Center, and they told me they'd call back the day after, I was waiting til 9th, but no one called me yet, I followed up again on the 9th of June, they told me the same thing, and again followed up on June 12, the same thing. I lost my patience, so I requested a full refund. I'm not sure if they will return what I've paid. This is my first time getting a car license, im not sure if this is right. It took so long to arrange my practical test, I paid 7,300 AED for an unlimited test, and this is what I got. I hope everyone sees this complaint. If you are first timer Please dont go to Emirates driving Institute you will lost confidence and patience. Waste of time and money. Such a poor service.

2 months of waiting period in last 3 months
I am a student of your school ([protected]). I started my course in march 2023 and after theory test I waited 5 weeks to get my night classes started. After those night classes I was asked to book another night class which is the first stupidly of edi. If I was already a night student you should have scheduled them all together.
I applied for that night class and I waited another 2 weeks. After that class I booked my initial driving assessment test and I failed. I had to book 2 hours classes again it took 2 weeks again. The whole time I have been only waiting and waiting. After that class I booked another assessment and today I failed again.
It has been freaking 3 months and 2 months I wasted my time because of waiting. If you didn't have the capacity to book classes on time, you should have not enrolled so many students.
Very very clearly your system is flawed big time. You are gonna let me wait many weeks which will eventually affect my practice and I will forget what I learned during classes and what mistakes I did during exams. This way I can never pass the initial exam if you make me only wait and wait for my classes to get scheduled.
This time, I have zero tolerance. I cannot wait now. Firstly, how are you allowing me to go for the test if i'm not good enough for the test. If I am good enough then why are you wasting my time? I have failed initial assessment second time and this time I want my clases to be scheduled tomorrow in 1 day. I am not going to forgive now. My tolerance level is above the roof now. All other schools are scheduling classes in 1 day and you are wasting my time here. If the student has started the training classes, it is your responsibility to make sure tales classes quickly after initial test otherwise he will only fail.
You people have taken my whole money and now you are just careless. I will not let it go and from tomorrow I going to start calling edi after every 10 minutes to schedule my classes in 1 day. I'm sick of this now. I will complain on every official platform to raise my voice against edi's flawed system.

Scheduling classes
My EDI file no 23160431and I have been only having to wait since I Jo ned here in the beginning two weeks waiting period after theory then after initial rwod too weeks waiting for parking classes now that I had failed a initial parking test on Friday that is the 26May2023 it has been more than a week that EDI Al Quoz has not alloted me a single call more than 2 calls to the customer center and they say will send a word across. I have renewed my learning permit once already and this is the second time and I have not finished parking as well due to this delay. If for a single class so much delay is caused how will somebody focus on the rest of the driving lesson and when will they be able to get the final test. This is highly inconvenient when we pay and we struggle. Kindly address this.

I called 20 days before for my pending classes they informed within 14 days i will get call still i am waiting but no response. I am flying next month i don’t know how they treat customer. Since November 2022 i am suffering they always tell we will call soon.

Staff are careless
Hi good afternoon my name is vishwanath pratap Singh my learning permit no is [protected]. And I would like to draw your attention towards the business bay branch of edi. And this is like 3rd time iam facing issues from there end. Today I have class at 7pm but I didn't receive any message or call from them until now. And I called them twice then they answer my call. And from last two times when I am calling them to book my class they are telling me you have to pay and while on checking with alquoz branch as per them I will only pay after my parking class. There is no need to pay at the moment. And thirdly when iam calling to book for class of1 hour it took more than a week.

Driving classes not scheduled
EDI does not respect it's students. We are not just students, we are also paying customers.
Their whole process is extremely slow. Just due to their slowness, the whole driving school experience is spoilt.
They don't have slots for internal tests, they keep failing you when you are finally able to get a slot, and then they don't schedule the following mandatory class for over 2 weeks.
I have been registered with them since November and I am still in the parking internal test and class phase.
Keep going back and forth with them, there is no way to schedule a class with the Al Qouz center. You have to wait for their call, which can come any time any day and on the small chance that maybe you are in a meeting or in the bathroom when they call and you miss it, you have to keep waiting for days for them to call you again! Even after they call and you pick up, the class is scheduled easily 1 week from that day, at a slot of their liking, else it is further delayed.
Please do not sign up with this institute if you want to get your driving license, unless you have a year to give for the process.
Desired outcome: Please schedule classes and tests on time! Don't make us wait for weeks between classes and tests.

I am wring to to explain about bad experience. Very poor service by operations. Management are lazy. they are wasting my time. 3 month have been passed i just learn nothing. Very bad service and too much period period
EDI Customer Service is very bad as they do not resolve any issues on email and just replies with their standard responses.Initially they let us wait for 3 Week for just giving the classes after theory test and then once assessment they again keep waiting period of 3 Weeks more and assigned me 2 classes. Now my RTA smart yard test is completed and I m following up for my Highway classes but they are not attending to my request and are just informing that they will assign once slot is available. Why do they take so many admission when they do not have enough resources? Why they are wasting students time in waiting and then students are forced to pay the renewal fees of RTA just because of EDI waiting period.

With relevance to the subject, please be advised that my recent experience and the lack of promptness in receiving an update from the Call center and EDI management ; I am writing to provide feedback on your service level i.e. regarding your call center agents and internal EDI customer service management team handling my request. I have already completed all relevant classes but was not lucky to pass the final examination, however I did request EDI management and RTA instructors for further evaluation to be done with EDI senior trainer and wanted to evaluate myself on the areas that require my attention. I had high expectations for the advanced classes and was eager to hear back from the EDI management team since 03 May 2023. However, until now, I have not received any response or update on the matter.
I would like to express my concern about the impact that such delays can have on my learning skills. As a valued customer, I believe that it is important to address such gaps and ensure that promptness and efficiency are maintained at all times. I would appreciate it if the EDI management team could consider reviewing the request for the advanced classes and provide me with an update as soon as possible. Class/exam booking/rude staff!
Incase you are thinking of starting your learning journey with edi please reconsider! They will waste your time and money.I joined 8 months ago, very hard to book classes,exams coz apparently you have to wait for 1week,10 days to get a class.It’s honestly not fair,if you know you don’t have enough labour then stop taking peoples money and inconveniencing them!

Classes not starting even after almost 20 days
When i had gone to open the file at mall of the emirates branch they said the maximum wait time is 2 weeks. Now after paying almost 7500 aed in full when i went back to them because i am not getting classes they are reluctant to reply and they dont have any answers as well. Dear EDI i just want to know that why there is no channel to reach or know as to when will the classes begin. You are one of the most reputed institute in UAE and this is how you treat your customers? By lying to them and taking money and not even giving any clarity? This seems like a way to scam people. I will never recommend anyone to join this because they have the poorest customer service and they dont care about their customers. They just want the money to come in! They make false promises when you go to enroll and none of them are met! If you cannot give me classes atleast get you classes coordinator to call back and let people know how much time is need atleast they will plan accordingly! You guys have no right to keep people hanging without any answers!

Not arranging the class even after full payment
It's been a year I have joined EDI and till now I haven't completed the course, as they do not arrange a class for months so that they get additional money for learning license renewal. I'm tired of sending emails and requesting to arrange a class for me but till now they haven't called. Such a pathetic service EDI driving institute have. Never ever join EDI driving institute if you want driving license in Dubai. The WORST DRIVING INSTITUTE IN UAE IS EDI DRIVING INSTITUTE.

Wait Time for classes
Firstly I would like to highlight that customer satisfaction is zero from EDI. I had chosen the unlimited package and had paid in full. While registering for the driving course, everything seems to be fine. Once the payment is done in full they will start making you wait for each and every service. Half of the 03 months of learning permit will be wasted in waiting for the classes. I have renewed my learning permit and again it’s been 11 days after my road test and no classes have been booked for me. The simple answer from the school is that they don’t have instructors available. So why enrolling new students if they can’t handle and have shortage of instructors.horrible experience with EDI. Would never recommend EDI to any one.

The fine against my arrival time for initial driving assessment test
I had Initial Driving Assessment Test today (dated 26th February 2023) at 12:30 pm. I arrived EDI Building#1 at 12:10 pm and sat there till 12:38 pm. When I saw no one is calling me for the Test, I got up and asked Building#1 reception that no one is calling me for the test. He checked his computer with my mobile number and told me to go to Building#2 immediately. Instantly I started towards Building#2 and reached there at around 12:41 pm or at best 12;42 pm (I did not check the time, but I believe, it will not take more than 3/4 minutes to reach Building#2 from Building#1).
When I reached Building#2 reception, the EDI customer service officer was talking to another customer, so I could not talk to her, and waited there around 3/4 minutes. When the EDI customer service officer got free, I told her that I had exam on 12:30 pm, she told me to go Building#3, I immediately went to Building#3 but no EDI officer was present there at that moment. Then I made a call to ETA call center to know my examiner name. The call center told me to go to Building#2 again and charged me AED 250. I again go to Building#2 but the EDI customer service officer again sent me to Building#3. Then I met an EDI officer at Building#3 who took me to the examiner, but I was already marked as absent by the examiner by that time. I had to pay AED 262.50 and rebook my Assessment Test then.
I am requesting EDI concern to analyze whether I really deserve the fine or not.
My request, at least for the newcomer students, the instructor/examiner should make a call to the students before marking them as absent, as the fine is not a small amount.

Final road test and lack of synchronization between the trainer's knowledge and the examiners' knowledge.
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent car driving license test that I undertook at your facility. I believe that I have deliberately failed in the test repeatedly 5 times, and I would like to bring to your attention some serious concerns regarding the trainer's knowledge and the examiner's behavior.
Firstly, I would like to highlight the lack of synchronization between the trainer's knowledge and the examiners' knowledge. This led to a lot of confusion and contradictions during the test. I found that the instructions given by the trainer were different from what the examiner was looking for, which made it difficult for me to perform to the best of my ability.
Moreover, I would like to stress the importance of having a standard operating procedure (SOP) in place. This will ensure that everyone involved in the test is aware of the protocol and that there is consistency in the testing process. It was evident that there was no SOP in place, and this caused a lot of confusion and frustration.
Lastly, I would like to address the behavior of the examiner. I found their attitude to be extremely rude and unprofessional. The examiner's behavior was not only demotivating but also mentally exhausting and draining. It made the whole experience very unpleasant and frustrating.
I believe that these issues need to be addressed immediately. I would appreciate it if you could investigate the matter and take appropriate action to rectify the situation. I am hopeful that steps will be taken to ensure that no other candidate has to go through what I went through.

My name is Krishna I went for my single parking test in which I failed for rebooked on earlier slot but they denied to me. I have already wait for over 28 days for test and today I failed in test in single parking. I wanted to retest on earlier slot because it is only one parking remain but the person in charge denied to me rudely. If I will wait for more than 28 days for a single parking test then I will forget all trainings provided by you. What will be the benefit of your training.
I have to wait for more than 28 days for a single retest and again wait for overall 30 days for final RTA test. I registered in full time package and paid almost 8300 AED for full time package. I already passed more than 5 months. But did not received my license due to delay in booking test.
