I have registered with unlimited contract with EDI in March 2021, and I got my tests cleared and the first availability by May and in June I asked them to check how much Refund will I get if I cancel my file with them, and when they confirmed the amount I told them that I will get back to them and after a day or two I asked them not to cancel the file as the Refund money was less and I continued with my classes and tests and after two months I was informed my RTA file has been cancelled in June for which I did not provide my consent and they had refunded the amount of 1800 to my credit card which I'm completely unaware off. so all the classes I took after the month of June was chargeable now and since September to this date I'm waiting for their call back to clear my file and pay the remaining amount, I have been following-up with them every other day and they have the worst customer service they pass your file from one table to another without any clear information and now my learning permit is expiring my file is closed from EDI and still no clear feedback from them.
Definitely the worst driving class in Dubai.

Excellence Driving - Mis Selling Representative and Fake Commitment
Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your knowledge about the mis-selling of your partner and his employees.
On 09 Sep around 7 pm, a person named IRTAZA - [protected] had sold me a Beginner 20 hours course in 3864 AED mentioning that 3 TRIALS, 3 ATTEMPTS will be free being a new institute. He also promised that you will be getting a message from RTA tonight for the confirmation.
I asked him several times in front of his representatives around him but he committed this to me again and again. He said this offer is valid for today only against which he pressured me to Pay 110 AED via Receipt no. 13763 on the spot without checking about the company background and credibility. He also stated that I am an employee of the company and the Manager of this whole group.
Today early morning being the first day of the week, I tried contacting Granton on [protected] but the number does not exist where I had a doubt. Then I called the representative but he did not pick and thereafter I had to call the customer care desk on [protected] where I narrated the whole episode and got to know that there is no such offer. They specifically mentioned that this is a ONE time option only else you have to pay again.
People like this spoil the image of the company and allow you not to trust people. Money is something which comes and goes but Trust is something which once gone never comes back which has been done for your company in my image and may be several whom I will narrate this story.
Need a solution to either honor the commitment or Refund along with Penalty.

driving license classes issues.
i did registration with the institute on 10 July, that time they said, sir your waiting period is 15 days. and classes time is 8-10 pm three times in a week. i said ok, because my duty time is 9 am - 6 pm. and my flat is pretty far from my office. that's why i apply for license so i can buy a car and can save time. now i pay my second installment also. and then i get call from the center sir your classes are start and you can take classes timing are 10-11 pm one hour daily six day in a week. now you tell me. they are making my life horrible. how can i come daily after office i have to go back to room and back i have to come 10pm.
if it's like this, then you guys have to tell me first, so i can choose other institute, those can provide me according to my schedule.
i have request to you guys, please don't do cheating like this with the people.
i am still waiting for my classes. and i want the schedule as like i agree at the time of registration ASAP.

Practical training scheduling- no response
I have been contacting EDI to schedule the training and the call center keeps telling me someone will contact me and no one is getting back and no one is calling me. I need to schedule my training. I need someone to communicate with so that I can schedule my practical training and test. Even if there is a waiting time, we need to schedule the times in the future but at least I need to talk to someone and not this call center. The call center only tells us that someone will contact you and no one does.
Are they used to treat people with disrespect and not respect that people need to know there schedules in advance and not just wait for non-responsiveness.
I am very disappointed.

Poor Service/Taking payments before the date.
Hi, I'm EDI Registered customer with my Registered no [protected] it is an unlimited try contract. I was supposed to pay my last payment before my RTA parking test and this is what they told me customer services before. now today I called to book my lesson, they told me you have to pay first. I believe if u check the phone call record you will find that they told the last payments before the RTA parking test.

Emirates Driving School
Emirates Driving School is the worst school in United Arab Emirates. Before i attract of their marketing and took admission in this driving school. First they will be very nice with you. Once you paid then they will treat you worst, and you will feel actually you are in hell. In Edi each stage, you have to suffer. First of all they will not tell you about waiting period once you took the admission they will tell you that you have more than one month waiting period.
They are not giving me classes i requested them many times please give me classes i have some problem in my family and after this i have to travel to my country, but they did not have ethics. EDI everything is money, they believe in only money. Every time they are planning to grab money and making you very late. My 3 months Learning permit almost going to finish but still i am suffering and begging for classes.
I purchased lumpsum package from Edi. In the starting of the contract they said you have to pay in 3 installments. My first installment were less than 2k but i pay 2k. On the second installments i have to pay 4400AED(both one and 2nd installment) but i paid total 5k. Every time i am paying more than which we decided actually. Last Installment i have to pay when i complete the edi parking assessment. But i am still in edi parking i didnot completed parking yet. Before they were said you have to wait 3 days then you will get the class, i waited for 14 days after fourteen days when i called them they said you have to pay last installment first then we will schedule your parking classes. According to them EDI this new policy came on 12 August, so you have to follow this policy. I tried to teach them many times that i contracted with you in June, if this policy came before my contract then i have to follow this policy. Basically this is not a policy they just want to play with their customers. I dont have issue to pay but once i pay they will treat me badly and they will put me on waiting period. So in this case i cant do any thing. I also contact on help line many times, Mr Ehtasham is saying i cant do any thing its not in my hand then they transfer my call to scheduling department with Mr Iqbal who is very unprofessional, first they said okay your issue is resolved now but after they start doing the same thing that you have to pay now. And Mr iqbal is saying its not in my hand you have to call Mr Sami (Sales coordinator). The main thing is that every person is saying i cant do any thing and refer me to a new face, but they are not sharing the contact details even not email address. So every time you have to spend 15 mins to tell complete story to new customer services representative. Now i am trying to contact with Mr Sami is not attending the call from the last 2 days. Then i again go back to Mr Ehstasham and he said sir i cant do anything you have to visit center. Even i visit center but i could not meet with Mr Sami.
Now they will reply me, we are sorry for inconvenience please write an email to [protected]@edi-uae.com . Believe me this is just a drama even i already sent them many emails and they didnot reply me and didnot resolve my issue.
Basically they are just playing with clients, Emirates driving is the worst services company i never ever seen that kind of bad company. I will recommend to new students please go with Drive Dubai, Belhasa, Al Ahli or any other but dont go for emirates driving school. If you have spare time and spare money to waste then go to EDI.

Long Waiting Period for Practical Classes
I have opened my driving license file on april 2021, i have only attended total 22 hours (including 8 hours of mandatory class and 2 internal road assesment test - both got failed) of class in 4 months.
Minimum of 2 weeks of waiting period for practical classes and 10days for internal road test needed to complete one cycle.
Again i have requested for practical classes and im still waiting.
Most of the students including me forget the rules and driving capability before attending the road test.
This is how they are making money and wasting students time too.

Schedule on Driving Class
Last month when I failed to clear my RTA road assessment, I immediately booked my next RTA Exam which is 23rd of August. I immediately went to EDI building for Booking my mandatory classes. There was a person sitting and he told they cannot accept booking request now as my RTA exam date is too far. He asked me to book after 5th. And I requested for mandatory training after 5th i.e 7th of august. I haven't got a response yet. when I called and asked now, the person is saying if your booking is not received then you may need to postpone your RTA Exam. which will again take a month. This is the reason I went to book my classes in prior. But because of EDI Fault I made booking after 5th. Now I've been asked to postpone my RTA exam if booking isn't received. This is not Fair.

Regret to inform that i am having so much problem just to start the training of my Daughter Nooreen Asad Reg No [protected], while taking the admission EDI agent confirm me that training will begin with in 4 weeks as it a waiting but after 5 week we unable to get any response so i have visited personnel and need to beg your staff to commence the training so they start they training for just 3 days then send a message that unable to continue the training due to the trainer resign.
since than i am waiting and everyday need to call the customer agent and request to start the training but response will get we will ask supervisor to call but no call receive since more than 15 days it is deeply disappointment for me initially when we take admission i have clearly stated that my daughter on annual vacation and she should complete her training atleast with two month now almost two month about to complete but still waiting to start training.
i humble request management to take necessary to commence my daughter training or don't give the admission, tell the person to go for some other institute there is lot of institute in the market, as per my experience much better than emirates, atleast they don't lie nor do this sort of business give the admission and let the candidate wait for months to start training.

Long waiting period
Waiting periods are too long here. First of all its too hard to get in touch with anyone at call center, no one picks up the call and finally if someone picks up all you get fake promises. The information provided is not at all clear. When I passed theory test and simulation session. The lady at the test center mentioned someone will call me back with regards to start my training lesson and nobody called me back yet. And I asked when I can pay amount, coz I was paid by part. She said Before 10 hours when my practical training will start.
After so long of trying to get through the line had a word with an employee and he mentioned that i have to pay the class amount upfront and then wait for another 3 weeks! Seriously. Wait for another 3 weeks just to start the classes.!
If i knew this beforehand i would never have started with EDI.

Waiting periods
Just like others I too have long waiting periods and no action taken. Done everything i can to start pratical training and all i get is "fake promises" of call backs. It's time consuming and money waste. I have been waiting for 5 weeks now to get my practical training started. Yet all i get is more waiting. The call centers keep repeating same lines that they sent special requests. They could have just been honest and told beforehand that I would have to wait this long in the first place rather than making fake promises and no action.

Theory Classes, Unhelpful Service and Waiting Times
Was made to pay a total of 3 times for classes that I attended once.
Missed a class due to traffic out of my control and was forced to pay an extra 400 dhs to rebook it.
Waiting times to pay for a class I haven't attended were over 3 hours long with two counters serving close to 100 people and people cutting into the queues freely.
Call centre unhelpful and repetitive and no option to change my classes online despite queues and travel over an hour and a half just to get to Mussafah.

Front office service at Iban Battuta Mall
Dear Team,
We had multiple bad experiences with the front office person, "Mr.Arun" at the Iban Battuta mall branch, Dubai, UAE.
From day one he has some issues with us, every time I and my spouse used to visit the branch, he never greets and behaved arrogantly with us .
He always demotivates us by informing us about waiting time, failures, and all, we understand that we should be knowing all these but the way of telling should be different . Because of him, we delayed our process multiples times in thinking whether it is worth taking training from EDI or we will not be able to clear the test based on his words.
Not even a single request is acknowledged or responded to properly, every time he delays our process and I am afraid that now again we have to interact with him again.
As I have failed the internal assessment test, I have visited him again today and same no greetings, no smile, and arrogance again. I have failed the test but no regrets as there were my mistakes in the test but when I have visited the branch and contacted Arun that's when I have regretted it. No motivation, in fact, no response, I have greeted him and asked how are you he was just watching and asks how are you.
Multiple times I have visited the branch with my wife and he is arrogant to both us so I thought I will bring to your notice. Now we are worried that based on our experience with him he will not provide our classes on time and delays our process intentionally.
It is not about EDI but it is about "Mr.Arun", there is another person "Taha" who responds properly and if our request is not possible he conveys it properly.
Kindly do the needful and Thanks in advance.

Waiting period for Training
The wait period for training is very bad and long. I have started my classes on Jan and for every step of the training I had to wait for 3 4 weeks just to get classes. From RTA classes are arranged very quick like parking n Road but the only delay is training. Now I have to postponed my road test just because I cannot complete my 4 hrs class which I had to wait for nearly 2 weeks.
RTA being the single hub for all other driving institutions in UAE can arrange test with less waiting period. But the only delay is EDI al quasis. How will a person remember his training if he has to wait for 3 4 weeks to get classes.

Classes was not started on time

Hope you are doing well!
I would like to bring some grievance which happened to me and would be happening for all.
On 29th June my class (Registration Number: [protected]) was scheduled for 8 to 9 PM but unfortunately my daughter was unwell and due to that I reached by 8.16 and the master made me absent for the class. I have even requested him not to mark it as absent but he refused to do it.
I have even requested the customer support team to waive off the fees and they told only with the genuine reasons with doctors proof or accident proof they would be able to given an exception. Anyway it is fine as per their rules.
I would like to give my opinion on this and my overall experience with EDI.
Please note that not even a single faculty started on time and ended the class on time. Few instances, if the class is at 9 PM then the faculty would come only around 9.10 and start it (you shall even check the emirates id login and log out time). In the middle they would go to buy medicines or to drink tea or to smoke or to park their own vehicle which was kept in Kacha parking or continuously they would be on the personal call for more than 30 mins (all these have happened with each and every faculty). At the end they would reach back to the institute before 10 to 15 mins and punch my emirates id by (10.55 or 11).
Shall i say that due to this I have failed many times and that is one of the reason i converted my normal package to unlimited package which made me to pay 11, 000 AED. You people were not ready to give an exception for one time late but your teaching faculty haven't started on the classes.
Whom should i blame for their mistake.
Teaching Faculty Details:
1. Mansoor: [protected]: He was not there in his assigned slot and he started only by 9.10 to 9.15 around on both the days. He went to buy medicines one day and the other day he went for prayer for more than 15 minutes. Again he came back by 10.50 around itself. Totally, around 45 minutes of classes wasted due to this in 4 hours.
2. Rashimonn: [protected]: He too started around 9.10 to 9.15 only and came back early around 10.50 itself. To be honest he didnt teach much at all. He knows it is an unlimited class and didn't teach much at all. Again around 45 minutes wasted in 4 hours.
3. Ashgar: [protected]: He too started around 9.10 to 9.15 only and came back early by 10.50 itself. First day he went to smoke and second day he was in call during the training around 30 to 45 minutes. again, around 45 minutes wasted in 4 hours.
4. MP: [protected]: He too started around 9.10 to 9.15 only and came back early by 10.50 itself.
5. Mahmud: [protected]: He too started around 9.10 to 9.15 only and came back early by 10.50 itself.
You people are having so many mistakes from your end but when i request you people are very strict. I would like to seek a proper explanation and valid answer from EDI management on the same.

I have received an employment termination letter from my company and I am on a notice period for two months. I need EDI team to help me to fast track my driving license. if I have the driving LIcense the company can move me to the Sales Department.
