I booked a pre-paid reservation for dates of 1-11-22 to 2-8-22 online, I paid $1777.44 for myself and one guest. I checked in with the GM "Reggie" on 1-11-22. I was given key access to room #228. Extended Stay America unethical behaiour

Back in September of this year around the 24th to the 27th of this year reservations were made by my wife Eleanor Land at your hotel on Kinley Rd. in Irmo, SC. my wife called told the hotel staff ahead of time that we would be a late arrival because were driving from Massachusetts to the state of South Carolina, when we arrive at the hotel that evening, between 7 and 8pm we were told that no rooms were available, we could not believe what the attendant was telling us after such a long drive from Boston. The desk attendant tried to explain the mix up but to no avail so she called her supervisor by the name of Katherine Brewer and she made the situation worse by trying to rent a room to me and my wife that was taken out of service due to a dog rip furniture from previous client it was disgusting to say the least. It was later in the evening we ask for a refund and we ended up staying else where which cost us much more because we made reservation on line with Extended Stay. We have now settled in Chapin, SC. which the people happen to be much nicer than the way our situation was handled that evening at your hotel.

Extended Stay America Billing Issues

I stayed at the Extended Stay located at 30 World's Fair Drive, Somerset NJ 08873 7/24/2020 to 12/2020

As a result, ALL State, County Taxes should have been refunded.

However, these locations failed to do so.

Extended Stay America mold in the bathroom, dirty floors, no bedside lamps, refrig unstable

They first put my wife and myself in a room with only a table light in it and the refrig. was very unstable. When I complained about it.they made me feel that I was the problem. Then they moved us to another room that has mold in the ceiling above the bath tub. The place is not kept up at all. The floors are dirty, and the elevator floor also.

Extended Stay America I am waking up with angry red welts while staying at your Chantilly/Dulles (VA) hotel.

I'm being told by the manager here (Aminita?) that I must launder all my clothes myself if I want to be moved to another room. I most assuredly DO NOT WANT TO STAY IN TIS ROOM, OR IN THIS HOTEL! I've stayed here since 9/30 and have talked wthe Mgr before about this. I don't care which Northern VA ESA hotel I stay in. I propose that you move me to your Fair Oaks hotel where I feel more confident that I will no longer be plagued w/ itchy, irritating welts behind my knees on BOTH legs! Please reply to Adina Penney. Extended Stay America Product and Service

I checked out early due to the filth. I'm currently in the hospital because something in that filthy, stink, COVID un- friendly room got me sick. I contacted the third party where I purchased my reservation and JACKIE told them that she DENIED my refund, knowing that I checked out a day early.
This place was BEYOND filthy. Not even suitable for my service dog to stay. There was trash in the floor as you walked in the establishment. I should have saw that as a red flag but checked in anyway because I was extremely tired. I would rather sleep in my car and use the restroom in a gas station before I stay in a hotel like this again. I'm not sure how they are still in business.

Extended Stay America Hotel Stay

I would like to document my experience in Plymouth Meeting, PA at Woodsprings Suites Hotel room 412. I have experienced Havana Syndrome and the like, treats to "bust my head" by other guest, illegal remote brain entrainment and monitoring, research and sexual violence using this technology, stolen goods, harassment, calling the police when I hollered once, false complaints by next door guests, women's vaginal rubbed all over my dog's toy-smelled like, entering of my room, stollen goods including my underwear, estatement made about seeing me in my bathroom when I walked into it by next door guest-414, and more. This has gone on for 9 weeks, as long as I have been here!

Extended Stay America Safety Issue the external door lock are broken, the doors are also rotted.

The 600 Weston Parkway Cary location has broken rotted entrance doors with key card systems that don't work in that they erase the coding on the card Locking the user out of their paid room requiring the card to be recoded every time I enter or exist. The external doors also don't latch and lock and need to repaired daily. Random non guest individuals can/have gained access to the building while I can't open the door to my paid room to gain some semblance of safety.

This location is Law Suit Waiting to happen with these safety issues. ESA needs to replace the external doors ASAP, REPLACE THE Faulty key card system and provide safe environment with safe kitchen appliances Immediately and refund $$ based upon the extreme shortcoming failures that far fall below the advertised brand commitments

The next safety issue is the appliances which are old, decreped the stove in my room is broken and rusted, with an oven that is dirty beyond multiple attempts at cleaning and doesn't heat food.

The refrigerator is old and either freezes food or doesn't keep it safely cold enough

I have experienced roach infestation and had to request extermination 3times as while as spray myself.

Desired outcome: Immediate action replace all broken systems, appliances, issue refunds as ESA as a company brand has not fulfilled its commitments are in any way at this location

Extended Stay America Ex housekeeper

Hello I am Latoya winbush I was a housekeeper at the extended stay America Washington avenue and Albany New York I was bamboozled out of my job lied on told that I put my hands on another staff which is a lie Adam which is the boss supposed to be getting my side of the story he never did that never called me back and just never even let me know anything I was never told I was terminated or anything I would like to file a complaint I'm very upset I just moved into my apartment and now they talking about well I actually did not talking about anything I'm just sitting here they won't pick up the phone every time I call up there and try to figure out what's going on with my job it's always an excuse. And I'm also old money for my paychecks that I didn't get they all put me down for false hours it's just a whole bunch of bull and I'm over it and I'm mad about it and I want something done about it.

Extended Stay America Unable to cancel a reservation but charged for $1400 as if I stayed.

Date of incident: September 23, 2021. I called to cancel my upcoming reservation for September 26 that would last until October 6. Guest services, hotel clerk, guest services again (I called 4 times to cancel) said I could not cancel because I was a pre-pay. I said I didn't pay for the room, I gave my credit card information to "hold" the room. They ran my card the day before my reservation, September 25. I couldn't stay. I have never stayed at an Extended Stay. They refuse to remove the charge. So, I drove to the hotel today (September 29) and said, I'll check in since I'm paying for the room. They were "sold out" - so they cancelled my stay and will not refund the money. They site their "no cancellation policy" on a pre-pay. The reservation was NOT prepaid - it was a reservation with a credit card hold.

Desired outcome: Either refund the money that I paid - or a class-action lawsuit.

Extended Stay America Hotel Security

I am a guest at your Extended Stay America in Ormond Beach Florida. I have moved into 4 different rooms in the past 4 weeks and every room has been accesses throughout the night by your employees while myself and my grandchildren were present. I've repeatedly asked for key login information from your local manager Mark who claims he is still waiting for login access from corporate and at this point I am suspecting he has deleted all records. I have and will continue to call the Daytime Police Department for assistance this is now a criminal matter. I have requested a call back from your regional manager to no avail. Extended Stay America Security that verbally assaulted me was allowed back to work here when he should have been terminated and arrested

The security that was on camera verbally assaulting me and not following the COVID policy of mask wearing is again in San dimas location. He should be in jail not working as security at hotel. He needs to be removed immediately as he is a danger to everyone and he should be arrested for verbally assaulting me and being paid for doing the opposite of what a security of the hotel should be doing. He should have been terminated for his actions and also for his non compliance of face mask policy
