Facebook Your integrity and policies

I am writing to you bc you keep saying I do not follow policy. Well let me tell you I have informed my attorney of my complaints other people make same comments esp against Democrats but if Democrats posted stuff about Republicans but it's ok. Again you will be formally notified by my attorney regarding your company. It appears that your company is Democratic biased just like this past election. You are taking my rights away as an American Citizen.
Thank You

Facebook Account access

About 2 weeks ago my account was disabled by FB. I used the help link and sent my photo ID for verification. I immediately received a message that my account was permanently disabled and the decision was not reversible. No specific reason was given. I've had no warnings. I am a senior citizen and this account is my only contact with family and friends. I have had this account for over 10 years and now have lost all access to the photos and videos I posted. Violation of community standards is the only reason given. There is no way to contact a human. I am really upset about this and there seems to be no recourse.

I have the same issue going on now. For no reason my account was disabled. I have tried contacting them threw the help center and i get a message saying that it can not be reviewed because it was to long since the account was disabled. I did contact them and sent my ID to them with the 30 days. I have not violated any standards and I can't get any help from them at all.

Facebook Access to my account

Facebook has locked me out of my account with NO explanation as to why or a chance to address whatever accusation they are making. First they denied my signing in for 24 hours, then they asked for a copy a an ID for security reasons, I did that. Then after a few days later asked to confirm that vis my email address and in that offered to change my password.
To date I still am denied access - "Log Into Facebook
Wrong Credentials
Invalid username or password"
I have no other name or credentials with them. I have re-entered this data time and time again and absolutely NO WAY to contact them because I cannot get INTO the account to do so. They offer NO WAY to get a message in if you are locked out in the first place. This is over 2 weeks of inaccessibility with NO explanation no matter how I am complying

Facebook False advertising a product

I found on facebook a dinosaur toy that was big enough fir a toddler to ride its back (which was shown on video advertisement on facebook) it moved its tail, eyes, mouth, head.
in the post came a 9 inch tall stuffed dinosaur that does nothing?
This toy worth about £8.00 max cost me 39 dollars plus postage.
These companies should not be aloud to advertise on facebook its fraud.
I only have a returns address in southall. Y&G F2P.
I cannot remember the companies name I brought from. I am waiting for it to come up again on facebook, which I have seen since ordering but at the time did not know this was a scam.

Facebook Heminx international

In July I responded to advertising on FB and ordered their "Long Handled Weeder". The parts finally arrived September 22, 2020. One item, a key component was not included in the shipment. Instead of sending two (2) ejector tubes D, and one (1) slotted ejector C, as required by their parts list, the packers sent three(3) ejector tubes D.
I immediately notified their Customer Service department with clear description of what was wrong. They either do not understand English or do not care and have been stringing me along since then with no relief in sight. At each point they misconstrue what my claim is. I have responded with pictures of the contents as requested by them. Yet still, they do not seem to understand or are unwilling to respond correctly. I have a string of electronic communications with them to prove what I am stating . Please give me an appropriate url to send it to you.
The product in question looks good. Their Customer Service is lacking. Please help.
Sincerely, Arthur B. Wyse

Facebook clip cord (co. name)

In early Sept., 2020, I ordered 2 items from an entity identifying themselves on Facebook as Clip Cord. My order was acknowledged as having been received on Sept. 9, 2020. I subsequently followed up as the entity had not responded to my inquire y about shipping status and I received e-mail correspondence on Sept. 9, 2020 inquiry about shipping status of my order. The entity responded to my inquiry with an e-mail stating: "Thanks for contacting us. We'll get back to you as soon as possible." The product has not arrived as of this date. I have followed up with this entity but have not received a response. I noticed that other persons on Facebook have had the same problem - the entity acknowledges orders but never ships. The behavior of the entity appears to be a fraudulent scam. Can you help me with this issue? If you cannot, I would encourage you to ban this entity from Facebook. Please advise.

Facebook Won't let me sign up with my real name

I have an unusual name, and Facebook thinks I am sending a fake driver's license. Which I have sent twice and gave them my cell phone #.

I've been a FB stock holder for 8 years, but can't get a working account?

Never got to use the account, but it was disabled for violating policy. Since all other violations require actually being able to use your account, I can only determine they think I'm using a fake name.

Used to have an account, deleted it years ago.

Facebook ads and suggested pages

Facebook has consistently and perhaps willfully kept recycling certain ads and suggested pages of a political nature which i find unprofessional, and frankly very distasteful ; as many times as i have tried to block or delete them they just keep coming back; these ads and suggested pages are sometimes hateful and denigrating to the parties involved, regardless of political preferences but they wont stop; i have made numerous attempts to send reports to facebook but they are ignored other than a prepared statement that my complaints do not violate their policies Facebook makes a point of saying these things wont be shown again but they are - five and six times on one single log in I dont feel the need to be bombarded with assaults on either presidential candidate. And when facebook asks why i dont want to see a particular ad i feel that it is none of their business This feels like harassment when i say please stop with the offensive material or at least keep it deleted I am very upset about this

Facebook Censorship / account disabled

My account was disabled September 2nd without warning or explanation. No previous "violations" of their community standards. I posted a video on Aug 29th of Trump's motorcade when he visited TX after Hurricane Laura. Got over 3k views & 30 shares. Got deleted 4 days later. Have submitted 25+ requests to FB to re-enable my account, & still no response.

Facebook Why are they allowed to suspend conservatives?

Since Facebook is a platform, not a content provider, why are they allowed to suspend conservatives, with no notification and no appeal, just for stating the truth about the corona virus or Ginsburg and her advocating the age of consent be lowered to age 12? Aside from being censorship, shouldn't they be held to the same standard as other platforms? And, if they elect to be the purveyor of truth as they see it, shouldn't the first amendment apply as they chose to be content providers via censorship?

I was suspended today, either due to a covid post or telling the truth about Ginsburg and her desire to lower the age of consent to 12...either way, by doing this, Facebook chose to go from a platform to a content provider and as such, is no longer afforded the protections of being a platform only. I was not given the opportunity to respond or appeal, I was just locked out of the format.

Isn't this action, acting as both a content provider and a platform the very thing the Presidents executive order was about? Shouldn't Facebook be taken to task for arbitrarily violating civil rights, equal protection and denying appeal process? Thank you.

Hi Bill!

Based on the information in your claim here, Facebook has placed a temporary restriction on your account to limit the spread of fake news. Facebook has taken a strong stance on fake news and will continue to protect its users from false information. Please use reputable sources like CNN or MSNBC next time to avoid a ban!

I hope this clears things up!

Facebook Banned... Why?

I have been permanently banned from my long-standing Facebook account. No explanation & no appeal allowed. The claim is that I violated their Community Standards. WHICH Community Standard? No explanation is forthcoming. 99.9% of my posts are public. I do not use abusive language or engage in illegal activity or harassment. I am politically vocal, but not much over the past several months due to health issues. I've received rare censorship for "Fake News" postings, all of which were well-buried in my nearly decade-long history of postings. I suspect that this banning resulted from Facebook's recent banning of crypto company advertising, because the banning happened within 2 hours of a status update where I was discussing a personal Bitcoin situation. I DID NOT post an links or mention any crypto companies & therefore was in no way advertising for any. I was simply discussing a recent development in my personal investment history. Again, I DID NOT identify any company. Also recently, one of my group postings was reported & locked for 'spamming. I was offering to GIVE AWAY a FREE major appliance, which I had originally purchased via eBay. For simplicity in informing interested parties about the appliance features, I posted a link to an identical item which was currently available on eBay. It was clearly NOT my intent to sell anything, as the very first word in my posting was"FREE" & I made it clear in the posting that the link was for information purposes only. So, unless Facebook has managed to dig up another historically OLD posting as an excuse to ban me. Regardless of their excuse, they are out of line to not even offer evidence of wrong-doing. Even with the controversy over the upcoming elections, I have remained silent for months on the political scene, with the exception of 2 shared posts with personal commentary. One was on the passing of SCOTUS RBG & was a mild satirical comment. The other was within the past 48 hours: an Epoch Times news release regarding the biased results an investigation of Facebook's Fact-checkers. And again, I only included a mild satirical comment on that shared posting.

I have strong reason to believe in Facebook's biases & also believe they are being petty in banning my long-standing account. They will discover that my followers are very unhappy with this action. I downloaded all of my Facebook data just this month because I foresaw this arbitrary action coming as many of my friends & family have also been banned for unclear reasons. So I have a full record f my friends, family & followers, whom I WILL be contacting privately about this banning. I will also be seeking to join any class-action lawsuits available regarding this matter.

I was very disappointed with the lazy and irresponsible service provided from the MCO until yesterday. As a resident Malaysia I would say that I following the rules of my coutry during this period~social distance~ to protect my family. Wearing mask and maintain social distancing with others. But the induty sender(without wearing mask) insisted that I must collecting my parcel from his vehicle. He throw out my parcel beside the road or just sending me the notification when disobeyed that order.
Hereby,I hope the action will be taken by the relevant authority. Thanks for your cooperation.
Notice received when refused obedience to the instructions.

If that is true, than I challenge you to produce the evidence that I was engaging in any sort of "scamming activity". I can tell you right now that you cannot produce that. Have scruples enough to admit that Facebook was WRONG & their punitive action against me is out of line. Got any courage there, Quannell? Or are you a 'yes man'?

I posted NO links to any crypto company. Did you not read my original complaint thoroughly? And in the discussion you seem to be referencing, I DID NOT even name any company. Plus, in the original posting, as well as later in the comments, I stated at least TWICE that I believed it was ME who was scammed. And for your further information, the ONLY participants in that discussion were myself & 2 of my own family. Are you asserting that by recounting an occurrence in my personal financial history with family & friends, I am attempting to commit an illegal act? That is a ridiculous assumption! As for the free giveaway, are you also asserting that giving away a compact clothes dryer which I was replacing with a newer one to someone in my local community is somehow criminal as well? Because that is also ridiculous. I can produce the name of the young man who happily took the dryer. And finally, I AM the creator, owner & admin of my area's first & one of the most popular local free & barter groups, which has existed since 2012. So, I can host & maintain such a group, which is very charitable to our community, but giving away free items, just as I've always done is somehow criminal behavior? For your information, I also gave away a pickup topper just a few days after the dryer was rehomed. Explain to me & every other logical person reading this (yes they are reading this) how any of what I've just recounted amounts to "scamming activity"? Becauseal again, Facebook has ZILTCH evidence to prove their claim. I'd even dare you to post that crypto discussion publicly. The utter absurdity of Facebook's actions will be clear in the light of truth! And I don't care how you identify. Makes no difference to me in this matter. I've kept my discussion civil & THAT is what matters.

Obviously I can't any longer. But you check the history of who created & built that group & you'll find it is ME. As I've stated before, I have a very recent copy of all of my Facebook data in my possession which proves exactly that. And Facebook's actions have not only harmed me & my perdonal reputation; those actions are also harmful to that group which has proven to be an asset to the local community. Several of the local community organizations advertise their charitable services there. And I have built & maintained it with strong ideals of helping our people & treating everyone fairly. Now that I'm not allowed to maintain the group with such standards & mission, what do you think the damage to that group will be? Facebook, in their high-handed activities, is HARMING the very people they should be helping! This is not just about me. Shame on Facebook!

Which brings up another issue of legality. That group was MY conception, MY creation & has existed to the benefit of it's membership ONLY due to MY diligence. By banning me, especially in light of lack of evidence of any wrongdoing (still not producing it because it doesn't exist), Facebook is unlawfully taking MY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. Despite the face that it exists on Facebooks platform, I have NEVER given up ownership of that intellectual property to anyone. As long as I can prove that I created & maintained that group, Facebook is in serious legal jeapordy.

Just in case anyone at Facebook would decide to find a punitive excuse to eliminate that group, I'd advise against it. I do have people watching this situation & further harming that group will be be immediately brought to my attention, as well as the evidence of such harm. It should be clear by now that, despite my civil demeanor, I'm not backing off of this injustice.

By the way, would that be the TOS I signed on with in 2011 or the endlessly altered since TOS which exists today? Facebook habitually ignores any 'grandfathering' while their algorithms are digging through ancient history postings to issue warnings about fake news & alleged violations of community standards. Therefore, Facebook doesn't get a pass on ignoring their own rewrites.

What Is Slander?
Slander occurs when someone speaks false and damaging statements about another person. Public officials and public figures often bring slander cases.

How Do I Prove Slander?
In a slander lawsuit, you have to prove the following:

Someone made a false, defamatory statement about you knowing it was a false statement
The statement does not fall in any privileged category
The person who published it acted negligently when they published the statement
You were harmed by the statement

************************************************************************************************

You just qualified those conditions here. You have my full, private contact information provided via this forum as well as through Facebook, which you could have used to privately discuss this with me. Yet you assert here, on a public forum that I was engaging in allegedly illegal activity. Good luck proving that.

Facebook Trolling

Every time I get out of facebook jail, for reposting something that was "already on facebook", I am sent back. Why? Because your algorithm
Is incapable of detecting complaints from one set of sources? Or because it doesn't notify me and give me a chance to either rebut or prove that the same post was already on face book without repercussions to the original people posting said "offensive" posts.
Ultimately my freedom of speech is denied, and the favored trolls are set free to silence others.

Facebook General contractor

Michael/Mike/Mikey Dempster is/was the owner of M&M Home Improvement Inc in Red Deer. He's registered with the BBB but his link to his Facebook page seems to be missing or he deleted it.

I interviewed him, but did not check any references, before I had him install a new shower stall. He never installed/sealed it correctly and mold was growing. I also had him rebuild my back deck and it was when he would not replace a "4 dollar fix" (his words) that his lack of honesty and competence came into play. I sued him in Small Claims court (civil). We went to mediation and agreed on an amount. He paid the first half the same day and failed to pay the 2nd half in the time frame he wanted. In July 2020 I obtained a Judgement Order for his defaulting on the mediation agreement. He is not registered as a General Contractor (he told me has 20+ years of experience), lacks the competence and communication skills needed to be a successful business owner and lacks honesty in his business dealings.

Facebook Banning and bullying by moderators

I pasted a copied sentence from an article about mental health to a posted article about a former politician stating they were depressed, and I was banned as hate speech for a statistically proven fact that was not directly aimed at anyone. This has been a repeat issue. Especially when it comes to political content. I am not a republican, but I do lean conservative. I don't share fake information, nor do I make personal attacks. I have been repeatedly banned, censored, and shadow banned so my friends and family cannot or do not see my feed unless I direct them to it.

About Facebook

Facebook is a widely recognized social networking platform that allows users to connect and share with family and friends online. Originally created for college students, Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg and has since become available to anyone over the age of 13 with a valid email address.

The platform's core services include the ability to create a personal profile, add other users as friends, post text and photo updates, send messages, and receive notifications when others update their profiles or interact with posts. Facebook also offers a live video streaming feature, the ability to create and join groups based on various interests, and the option to create and promote events.

In addition to its social networking capabilities, Facebook provides a marketplace for buying and selling goods locally, as well as a gaming platform that can be accessed within the site. Businesses and creators can set up Pages to connect with their audience, run targeted advertisements, and gain insights through Facebook's analytics tools.

Over the years, Facebook has expanded its product offerings to include other services such as Messenger, a standalone messaging app, and has acquired other companies like Instagram, a photo and video sharing platform, and WhatsApp, an encrypted messaging service.

Facebook's services are accessible via web browsers or through its mobile app, available on various smartphone and tablet devices. The platform aims to facilitate communication and content sharing among its vast user base, which spans across a diverse, global audience.
