Famous Footwear Mixed Experiences with Famous Footwear

As someone who has been a customer of Famous Footwear for several years, I have had mixed experiences with their products and services. While the selection of shoes is good, I have encountered issues with orders not being processed correctly and poor customer service. On one occasion, I saw a promotion for discounts but was not honored at the checkout. Despite some positive experiences with the store staff, there have been instances of unhelpful and disrespectful behavior. Overall, Famous Footwear has its strengths in product variety but needs improvement in consistency and customer service.

Famous Footwear This was a great experience!

This was a great experience! I originally went into the store and located the shoe I wanted to buy but they didn't have my husband's size. The store manager directed me to order online, that it was free shipping and that I would receive the shoes within 5 days. The site was easy to surf and very user friendly. I found the shoes easily, ordered them and actually received them in 2 days!

Famous Footwear Great Service

I was at store 351 the other day, at 555 E Wetmore Road in Tucson. Everyone including the manager was professional, friendly and helpful. The manger explained that one foot was bigger than another whenI asked the question. My sales associate was Angel. He was great helping me find exactly what I wanted. They are lucky to have him as a sales associate. He even helped with training a new sales associate on the register to ring up my sale. I definitely will be shopping a lot at this location.

Famous Footwear Another awesome shoe store with great promotions

Another awesome shoe store with great promotions. I have ordered from this site several times and have had no issues-shipping is $4.50. They have a great selection and I always shop by %age off because even some of these selections are cute. Have had absolutely no problems with this retailer. An added plus is that if they don't have the shoe in your size, you can enter your email and they will notify you when they do. They also offer rewards and will send you a coupon for money off when you have reached so many points. Happy shoe hunting!

Famous Footwear Great service

I'm sorry so many people have had trouble with this company, however, I am not one of them. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes from Penneys and Belk's they were all the same shoes, different colors. Neither store had one of the colors I really wanted, when I happened up on the page of famous footwear. They had exactly what I wanted so I ordered from PayPal. Afterwards I went to reviews and thought I had been cheated from the poor reveiws, but too late.To my shock (after reading some poor reveiws)Famous footwear shoes came in 1st. They were exactly the same/right shoes and they cost less. They were above and beyond what I expected, thank you.

Famous Footwear Famous Footwear's Customer Service Fails to Deliver on Refund

I bought two different shoes from Famous Footwear's website and when I received my order, I was surprised to find that I had received two pairs of the same shoes. I called customer service on March 3 to inform them of the mistake and was told to send the shoes back, which I promptly did. The shoes were received by Famous Footwear on March 17, but when I called on March 25 to inquire about my refund, I was told that it would take an additional 10 business days for me to receive my money back.

After waiting for 12 business days, I called again to ask about my refund. The customer service representative informed me that when I called on March 25, I should have been given the option to receive a refund or a replacement pair of shoes. However, I had clearly stated that I wanted a refund and not a replacement pair of shoes. The representative then told me that my refund would be processed, but it would take another 10 days for me to receive my money back.

I find it frustrating that I have to wait even longer to receive my refund because of a mistake made by Famous Footwear. It seems like listening to customers is not a priority for them. I will not be shopping with them again in the future.

Famous Footwear Gender Discrimination at Famous Footwear: My Disappointing Experience

I went to Famous Footwear today to buy some Vans. The manager walked right up to me and said, "I need to take your messenger bag." I said, "I can't, my wallet, iPhone, iPad is in it." She continued to be persistent while women were walking in with their huge potato sack purses. I said, "Why aren't you asking these ladies to put their purses behind the counter?" She said, "Because yours is a messenger bag not a purse." I said, "I won't, sorry. This is my purse, it's 2016, and guys have bags to put all their tech stuff in." She said, "Fine, but I will be watching you." So I tried on the shoes, then put them back. I was so put off by the situation.

I proceeded to talk to her at the counter and told her I was being racially pointed at because I am a man, and you just lost a $60 sale (I spoke softly to her, by the way). I asked her for her first name as her badge was flipped over. She said, "Leave now." So I wrote a 1-star review on Yelp! and called her division manager.

So to all my Facebook buddies - if you ever need a pair of running or walking shoes, boycott Famous Footwear! Or do what my friend Josh does - go to "DSW"!

I was really disappointed with the way I was treated at Famous Footwear. It's 2016, and men carry bags too. I don't understand why the manager was so insistent on taking my messenger bag when women were allowed to carry their purses. It felt like I was being singled out because of my gender.

I tried on the shoes, but I was so put off by the situation that I ended up not buying anything. I spoke to the manager at the counter, but she was unhelpful and rude. I felt like I had to leave the store.

I wrote a 1-star review on Yelp! to let others know about my experience. I also called the division manager to complain. I don't think anyone should be treated the way I was at Famous Footwear.

If you're looking for a place to buy shoes, I would recommend going to DSW instead. They have a great selection, and I've never had any issues with their staff.

Famous Footwear Famous Footwear's Online Order Fail: Frustrating Experience with Refunds and Customer Support

I recently bought some shoes from Famous Footwear's store in Phoenix, AZ. They told me that I had to order them online and have them mailed to me. I waited patiently for 5 days, but then I got an email saying that they couldn't fulfill my order because they didn't have the shoes in stock. They promised to refund my money in 1-3 business days, but it's been 2 weeks and I still haven't received my refund. This is really frustrating because I was hoping to use that money to buy a gift for someone special during the holidays.

I tried going back to the store to see if they could help me, but they just told me to call the customer support number. I've been calling every day, but the wait times are ridiculous - sometimes I'm on hold for 50-70 minutes, and the longer I wait, the longer the wait time gets. I've also been emailing them nonstop, but they keep telling me that it will take 5-8 business days to get back to me. But that was 2 weeks ago, and I still haven't heard anything.

I'm at my wit's end. Why did they even sell me a shoe that wasn't in stock? It seems like they're quick to take your money, but they take forever to refund it. I finally managed to get through to a customer service rep after waiting for 40 minutes, and they told me that they have to send me a check, which will take another 2-3 weeks to arrive. That's well past the holidays, so I'm basically screwed. They can't even credit the money back to my card.

I'm really disappointed with Famous Footwear and I don't think I'll be shopping with them again. It's just not worth the hassle.

Famous Footwear Disappointing Customer Service Experience at Famous Footwear: A Review

I recently had an experience with Famous Footwear that left me feeling extremely frustrated and disappointed. I had ordered a pair of women's sneakers in my usual size of 8, but when they arrived, they were at least half a size too big. I called the customer service line to inquire about what size I should exchange them for, given the conversion in sizes.

Unfortunately, the representative I spoke with was not very helpful. They told me that I would need to send the shoes back for a refund and then repurchase them in the correct size. This process would take weeks, which was a major inconvenience for me. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was put on hold for a long time and eventually told that no one was available.

The representative I spoke with was also extremely rude and talked over me when I tried to explain my situation. They seemed unfamiliar with the products they were selling and were not able to provide me with any useful information. When I asked when I could expect to speak with a supervisor, I was told that they were handling many calls and would not be available anytime soon.

I was so frustrated with the service I received that I decided to return the shoes and never shop at Famous Footwear again. Despite my efforts to avoid this situation by calling ahead, the staff at Famous Footwear were not able to provide me with the assistance I needed. I was disappointed that they were not willing to make an exception for me or offer any kind of solution to my problem.

Overall, I would not recommend shopping at Famous Footwear based on my experience. The service was so poor that it outweighed any positive aspects of the products they sell. If you're looking for a reliable and helpful retailer, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Famous Footwear Disappointing Experience with Famous Footwear's Online Service: Cancellation Without Consent and Lack of Honor for Discount

I recently had an experience with Famous Footwear's online service, and I must say, it was quite disappointing. I have never felt so degraded and disrespected by a company before. I don't understand how they can call themselves "famous" when they can't even distribute footwear properly. My daughter, Becky, ordered a beautiful pair of black angular Doctor Martens from their website, and we were both so excited to receive them. However, a fortnight later, we still hadn't received the shoes, and our order was cancelled without our consent. I was so upset when I received the email informing me of the cancellation, and to make matters worse, they didn't even honor the discount we had initially received.

I must say, I have never regretted a purchase so much in my life, not even the lingerie I bought at Costco that ripped upon contact (my husband was not impressed). I felt so disrespected and mistreated by Famous Footwear, and I would not recommend them to anyone. I plan on calling Dr. Marten himself to complain about the way we were treated. It's just not right to treat customers this way.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with Famous Footwear's online service, and I would not recommend them to anyone. The cancellation of our order without our consent and the lack of honor for our initial discount was just unacceptable. I hope they can improve their service in the future, but until then, I will not be shopping with them again.

Famous Footwear Unwelcoming Attitude at Famous Footwear: A Goth's Experience

I recently visited Famous Footwear in search of a new pair of Demonia platform boots. My old pair had been destroyed by my ferret, and I needed a new pair ASAP. Unfortunately, my experience at Famous Footwear was less than stellar.

Upon entering the store, I immediately felt judged by the employees. They all looked like preppy teenage girls who were getting ready for a hot girl summer. As a goth, I am used to being judged, but I still don't appreciate it. I firmly believe that judging someone for who they are is worse than robbing a bank.

Because of the looks I received from the employees, I didn't bother asking them for help. Instead, I searched for the platform boots on my own. I looked in every aisle multiple times, but I couldn't find them. This led me to believe that the preppy teens were discriminating against me because of my goth appearance.

Feeling upset and frustrated, I went to the back of the store where the high heels were. I was the only one in the aisle, so I decided to mix and match all of the high heels out of pure rage, my ADD, and my scoliosis. It was a small act of vengeance, but it made me feel better.

Overall, my experience at Famous Footwear was not great. I felt judged by the employees and discriminated against because of my goth appearance. I hope that in the future, Famous Footwear will be more welcoming to people of all styles and backgrounds.

Famous Footwear Famous Footwear Review: Comfy Slippers, but Email Nightmares and Hassle with Returns

I gotta say, I liked the slippers I got from Famous Footwear (famousfootwear.com). They were comfy and cozy, just what I needed for lounging around the house. But then, oh boy, did they start bombarding me with emails. I'm talking once a day, sometimes even twice a day! I tried clicking "unsubscribe" at the bottom of the emails, but it didn't work. I tried it a couple times, but no dice. So I decided to send them an email asking to be taken off their list. I got a response from Nicole on February 12th saying she'd do it, but it might take up to 10 days. Alright, fair enough. But then, on February 22nd, I got a response from Daniel saying the same thing. Hmm, starting to feel like they're just trying to stall me here.

So, I decided to return the slippers. I went to a local store, but they couldn't find my purchase using my email address. Weird, right? Especially since I had just gotten another email from them that very morning on February 29th. So I went back home and found my email receipt with the barcode to return an item. I took that back to the store, but it still wouldn't pull up the order. The employee tried using my email address, but no luck. Meanwhile, I'm still getting emails from them - I've gotten three more in the last two days! Finally, the employee said she'd take me off the email list and refunded my money. She was really helpful, but man, what a hassle.

I still get at least one email a day from Famous Footwear, sometimes even two. I mean, come on guys, ordering online is supposed to be easy and convenient. This has been a total nightmare. I'm never buying anything from them again.

Famous Footwear Disappointing Online Experience with Famous Footwear: Missing Package and Poor Customer Service

I recently made an online purchase from Famous Footwear, as the shoes I wanted were not available in-store. The delivery was prompt, but unfortunately, the box contained two different sizes of shoes. While this was a bit frustrating, I decided to return the shoes in-store and re-order them online. However, my second order never arrived. According to FedEx, the package had been delivered, but I was home all day and could not find it anywhere. I contacted FedEx, who investigated the matter and advised me to wait 24-48 hours. After this time had passed, I contacted them again and was informed that the package could not be traced.

I then contacted Famous Footwear to request a refund, but was told that I would have to wait a full week before they could process it. This was despite the fact that FedEx had confirmed that the package was missing. I was disappointed with this response, as any other online retailer would have issued a refund in these circumstances.

Overall, my experience with Famous Footwear's online service has been poor. While I have had positive experiences in-store, I find it more convenient to shop online. However, I will not be ordering from them again, as the customer service has been lacking. I have since ordered the same shoes from Kohl's, for only a dollar more, and have had a much better experience. If the shoes I want are available in-store, I will consider purchasing them from Famous Footwear, but I will not be relying on their online service again.

Famous Footwear Discrimination and Harassment at Famous Footwear: My Experience as a Black Woman

I had an experience at Famous Footwear that left me feeling violated and discriminated against. As a distinguished member of society, a public servant, and a Woman of God, I carry myself with respect and dignity. However, today I was followed and harassed by the Assistant Manager Sean and his associate while shopping in the store.

Throughout my time in the store, the Assistant Manager followed me from aisle to aisle, repeatedly asking if I needed help despite my polite refusals. When I stopped to try on a shoe, I noticed him standing at the corner of the aisle, staring at me and then walking away when he realized I had noticed him. He continued to circle around me, passing my aisle on both ends, and making me feel uncomfortable and harassed.

When I confronted him about his behavior, he told me that this was the way Famous Footwear provided customer service. I expressed my discomfort and asked for the corporate number to report the harassment, but he gave me the wrong number and threatened to kick me out of the store if I had a problem with being followed.

To make matters worse, the Assistant Manager then sent his female associate to stand in the aisle and watch me. She pretended to be straightening out the boxes, but it was clear that she was there to monitor my every move. When I asked her if he had sent her, she denied it and looked at him with confusion.

I was the only black woman in the store, and it was clear that I was being profiled and discriminated against. Despite there being almost 10 other customers in the store, I was the only one being followed and harassed. It is unacceptable that I cannot feel free to shop without being watched and followed.

This experience was a reminder that we must stand up against discrimination and prejudice. It is heartbreaking to know that there are still people who hold hate in their hearts and treat others unfairly based on their race. As a member of this community and as a woman, I felt violated and discriminated against. It is my hope that Famous Footwear will take action to address this issue and ensure that all customers are treated with respect and dignity.

Famous Footwear Unpleasant Experience at Famous Footwear in Frazer, PA: Harassment and Invasion of Privacy

I recently visited the Famous Footwear store located in the Gateway Shopping in Frazer, Pennsylvania. As I was getting out of my vehicle, a man wearing dark glasses approached me and stared directly at me. I felt a bit uncomfortable, but I brushed it off and headed into the store. However, my experience did not improve from there.

When I entered the store, I was not greeted by any of the associates. Instead, I was followed and watched by them as I shopped. They stood at the ends of the aisles, and one even pretended to be shopping while keeping an eye on me. I felt like I was being harassed, and it was not a pleasant experience.

To make matters worse, there was a man who was talking very loudly in Spanish into his headset while intently watching me. I suspected that he was recording me, which made me feel even more uncomfortable. It seemed like I was the only one being targeted, as the white women and children in the store were able to shop without any issues.

When I finally made my way to the register, there was no one there to wait on me. A white woman followed me to the register and stood behind me, which made me feel like I was being watched even more closely. After having a discussion with the male security person, one of the associates finally came over to wait on me. However, she made a snide comment about me taking the initial two pairs of shoes that I had picked out.

While I was shopping, I asked an associate about a particular brand of shoe. Even though she was waiting on another customer, she offered to escort me back to the shoes against the wall. However, she made it clear that they were not on the clearance rack, which I found amusing. It's not like this store could be classified as a high-end shoe store, so the implication that a $39.99 shoe was beyond my reach was ridiculous.

When I finally made it to the register, the associate asked me if I had a rewards card. I said no, and she asked for my surname so that she could look it up to see if I had any points. She then asked for my zip code and my first name. I was confused as to why she needed all of this information, but I gave it to her anyway. She then proceeded to yell my full address across the store, which made me feel like my privacy was being violated.

All of this was for a $32.50 purchase, and I was not even thanked for my business. As I was leaving the store, one of the workers followed me towards the door and grabbed a pair of shoes to put on hold. When I commented that the whole ordeal was like trying to get out of the country, the associate responded nastily that she was only trying to save me some money. I wondered whose money she was trying to save.

Overall, my experience at Famous Footwear was not a pleasant one. The associates made me feel uncomfortable and harassed, and the whole process of checking out was invasive and unnecessary. I will not be shopping at this store again, and I can see why brick and mortar stores are struggling in today's market.

Famous Footwear Salespeople

On 7/17/2024 I purchased a pair of sandals at your store location #2398. The sail girl, Clover was very rude. I inquired about the metallic color of the sandals I was purchasing. She was of no help and answered in generic answers that were very standoffish. She would not assist me in determining the color of the shoe. She just referred me to the description on the box and had no further help for me. I wasn’t going to tell how ignorant she sounded. Your management should. I almost felt like declining the purchase, however I liked the shoe. I know I will not shop here again.

Famous Footwear Shopping with bodycams

I had a simillar experience at the famous footwear in the Gateway Shopping in Frazer, Pennsylvania. I was met outside of the store as I was exiting my vehichle but a white male with dark glasses on. He stared directly at me and even turned around as I entered the store. I was not greeted when I entered but, boy was I followed and watched and the associates stood at the ends of the aisle. One entered and pretended she was shopping another came stared in my face and asked if I needed help. This went on the entire time I shopped. Additionally, there was this obnoxious male intently watching and more than likely recording me while talking very loudly in spanish into his headset. While all this was going on the white woman and children were able to shop without this type of harrasment When I went to the register there was no one to wait on me although a white women followed me to the register and stood in back of me (security). Finally after having a discussion with the male security person one of the associates finally came over to wait on me. The first thing she said was oh so you decided to take the initial two pairs. Another associate had tried to get them from me and take them up front. When I asked another associate while shopping about a particular brand of shoe, even though she was wailting on another customer she was going to escort me back to the shoes against the wall while indicating that they were not on those racks(meaning the clearance rack). I chuckled to myself it's not as if this store coud be classified as a high end shoe store. The implication that a 39.99 dollar shoe was beyond my reach. Well when I finally arrived at the register there was no one to wait on me although there was a security person who had tailed me to the register and stood behind me. While I stood there the associate was talking to the spanish speaking person although at this point his loud obnoxious conversation had finally ended. Well, I was asked if I had a rewards card. I said no not with me. I was than asked for my surname I asked what for I was told so that she could look it up to see if I had any points. This is strange because when I've shopped in Exton or other retailers they ask for your telephone number. She then asked for zip code. Than she asked for my first name again I asked why. She said, that there were five people in that zipcode with the same last name. So, I gave her my first name. Then sh started on my address yelling my full address across the store. I asked her why did she need all that information because I knew that none of the other five people with my last name had my first name. She then instructed me to tap a green button indicating that this was the correct address. All the while the hispanic/latrion person was punching information into his devive with another female standing along side of him making sure he got it all. All of this for a 32.50 purchase needless to say I will not be shopping in famous footwear again. It's no wonder these brick and mortar stores are going under and no wonder there is so much identity theft. Oh, I was not even thanked for the purchase and then another other the workers who was pretending to shop followed me towaard the door so I stopped so he grabbed up a pair of shoes and asked the clerk to put them on hold. He felt foolish so he lowered his head and left the store very quickly. When I said that this ordeal was like tryng to get out of the country or better yet into the country. I was told nastily by the associate that she was only trying to save me some money. I wondered was it her money or my money. By the way after all that I was told that I had not earned enough points for a reward it would be the next time. Whats strange is that the associate at the Exton store told me the same thing the last time I purchased shoes at that store.

Famous Footwear Manager behaviour

The manager, Grace was very rude to me. She asked me to be a rewards member and I said no and she said that it is required for me to check out. She is lying to customers for accounts. This is not okay! She is forcing me to sign up for an account when I said no.

More than that, she was speaking so rudely to her coworkers. I understand she is the manager but there is a proper way to talk to staff. She was even talking down to her. I do not remember her name but a brown girl.

Grace needs to be reprimanded. Her behavior is not okay. I will never shop at Famous Footwear again

Desired outcome: I would like an apology but more importantly to stand up for the staff she was being so rude to. Someone from the company needs to look into this.

Famous Footwear Famously Reward Card

Hi, I have been trying to resolve my issue when I first applied for the famously reward card, but I have never received the card at all and I wasn't able to register it online to make any payments, so I had no choice but to close my account down, since I can't make any purchases or payments on it and now I am getting calls demanding for late payments and so I don't think I should pay for late fees if I never got a card in the first place and that was 10 months back. I would like to make the payment for the product I bought and nothing more. I had been trying to resolve this matter, but no one wanted to be able to help, so I gave up and stopped trying to reach someone who could really help me out. I just want to be able to pay for the product I got and just not ever apply for the card again. My credit went to [censored] once I applied for the card and never received it. Famous Footwear Famous Footwear online account

I tried to log into my Famous Footwear online account today and I'm unable to get past the recent addition of a security challenge from "acquire1.comenity.net Additional security check is required". I know I've probably tried it at least 50 times this morning. Every time I finish the challenge, it pops up again. This is not the only website I need to do this on, so I am very familiar with the process. I called Customer Service and except for sending me a change of password email, which I don't want, they told me I just need to keep doing it. I asked them to please forward my issue to tech support, and I hope they did. I think something is not working, as it will go away after I've completed the challenge and then pop right back up again.

Famous Footwear The way I received a few shipments

I received a few shipments where shoes where brown in a box and I spoke to an associate and I don’t remember her name but she was the addicted who issue a z6.99 credit for the blow fish sandals they look worn and all the nine shoes except the Nike men’s air max and then I got an order later on the 21 that was the same way. The associate lady I spoke to promised me she she woukd issue every single point back for the whole whole

Famous Footwear Mixed Experience with Famous Footwear: Beautiful Boots, but Shipping Fiasco

Yo, so I gotta say, I'm lovin' these boots I copped from Famous Footwear. They're straight up beautiful, no cap. But let me tell you, the shipping situation was a hot mess. When I placed my order, they said it would take a week to get to me. But it didn't even ship until a few days after I ordered it. And then, when a week passed and my kicks still hadn't arrived, I was gettin' heated. The tracking info online hadn't updated in five whole days, so I hit up customer service to see what was good. They told me to wait another week, which had me feelin' like they were just tryna play me. So I took to Twitter and Insta to air my grievances, and wouldn't you know it, my boots finally showed up three days later. All in all, it took a whole five weeks for me to get my hands on these beauties. But hey, at least they're here now, right?

Famous Footwear Famous Footwear Review: Disappointing Customer Service and Order Cancellations - BACK!

I recently had an experience with Famous Footwear that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had ordered a pair of shoes for my grandson, but to my surprise, the order was canceled. I was instructed to try again, so I did, only to have the order canceled once more. I was at my wit's end, but I decided to give it one more try and called customer service. They placed another order for me and gave me an order number. However, you guessed it, that order was canceled too! To make matters worse, the money for the purchases had already been deducted from my bank account.

It's disheartening to see companies like Famous Footwear, which used to be reputable and have integrity, now letting algorithms run their stores. It seems like they're taking advantage of people and not providing the customer care they used to. I remember shopping at Famous Footwear over 30 years ago when my daughters were little, and it was a great experience. But now, it's just garbage.

If you're looking for a company that provides excellent customer care, I suggest sticking with Nordstrom's, Macy's, or even Kohls. At least with them, you can receive immediate assistance if you have any issues. Famous Footwear, I want my money back!

Famous Footwear Famous Footwear Review: Frustrating Experience with Wrong Order and Slow Customer Service

So, I gotta say, I had a pretty frustrating experience with Famous Footwear. I ordered a pair of White Mountain Women's Harrington Footbed Sandals in black leather on April 16th, but what I received was a pair of White Mountain Women's Harlequin Sandals made of cloth. Not exactly what I was looking for, you know?

So, I reached out to them via email to try and get this sorted out. But let me tell you, it took them weeks to get back to me. I mean, come on, guys! I understand things are a little crazy right now, but that's just not cool.

Anyway, when they finally did respond, they told me I needed to return the sandals they sent me by going to Fed Ex and mailing them back with the return label they provided. Now, here's the thing: I ordered these shoes online because of the stay at home order. I don't really want to go out to a Fed Ex location just to return something that they messed up in the first place.

And get this: they won't even send me the right shoes because they don't do exchanges. Like, seriously? This isn't an exchange. They messed up my order and I'm entitled to the shoes I actually ordered.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Famous Footwear. I just wanted a pair of sandals, you know? But instead, I got a whole lot of hassle.

Famous Footwear Famous Footwear's Lack of Inclusivity for Wide Width Shoes

I recently visited Famous Footwear's website, famousfootwear.com, in search of some new shoes for the summer. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of shoes they had available on their website. However, I was disappointed to find that none of the shoes I liked were available in my size.

As I was browsing the website, I came across a sign that read, "Cannot find your size, ask an Associate for assistance." I decided to take their advice and reached out to an associate to ask where I could find wide width shoes. To my surprise, the associate asked me if that was a shoe brand. I couldn't believe it! How could someone working in a shoe store not know what wide width shoes are?

I decided to ask the person at the register for help, and she informed me that they only carry wide width shoes in athletic styles. I was so disappointed. Why do they discriminate against people with wide feet? It's not something we can control. Don't we deserve to have access to suitable shoes just like everyone else?

I was frustrated and upset, but I still wanted to purchase a few pairs of shoes for myself. I ended up finding a couple of pairs that fit me well, but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope that Famous Footwear will work to be more inclusive in the future and provide a wider range of sizes and styles for all of their customers.

Famous Footwear Disappointing Experience with Famous Footwear: Poor Customer Service and Delayed Refund

I recently made an online purchase at Famous Footwear for a pair of Nike sneakers that were sold out in stores. I placed my order on June 20, 2020 and eagerly awaited their arrival. However, when they finally arrived after a week or so, I was disappointed to find that they were not as described. The color was off and they were too big for me.

I decided to return the sneakers via USPS with tracking and a receipt. However, my package seemed to have gone around and around to several post offices and cities. I was frustrated and tried to contact customer service multiple times, but was put on hold for over an hour and then disconnected. I even sent an email, but was informed that it would take 16-21 days for them to respond. This is unacceptable!

It has been over four months now and I still haven't received my refund. I am starting to lose hope that I will ever see it. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't think I will be shopping with Famous Footwear in the future. Their lack of professionalism and poor customer service is a major turn off.

I understand that we are all dealing with the "new normal" brought on by COVID-19, but I find it hard to believe that no customer service representative can respond to emails from home. It's frustrating to see a company that doesn't seem to care about their customers.

Famous Footwear Disappointed with Famous Footwear: Defective Shoe and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Famous Footwear. I ordered two pairs of shoes online and only one arrived last week. I wore it to work and then out in some light snow, but the color on the shoe ran off onto the other shoe. I mean, come on! That's not supposed to happen. So I called up customer service to see if I could exchange it, and let me tell you, it was not a pleasant experience. The lady on the phone told me I had to mail it back to their corporate office at my own expense and then repurchase the shoe. What kind of nonsense is that? I asked her why I should have to pay for shipping when it's clearly a defect in the shoe, and she just kept repeating that it was their policy. I mean, seriously? The cost of shipping and a box to return it is almost as much as the shoe itself! I'm not about to waste my money like that.

Honestly, I don't think I'll ever buy anything from Famous Footwear again. They've lost a customer for life, and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know not to shop there either. It's just not worth the hassle.

Famous Footwear Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Famous Footwear

I recently made a purchase on Famous Footwear's website for a pair of shoes. I was excited to receive them and paid extra for 2nd day air shipping. However, after 2 days passed, I still hadn't received my shoes. I waited another day and still no shoes. I decided to call customer service to see what was going on. They informed me that my shoes were accidentally shipped with the lowest priority through FedEx. I was disappointed but at least they offered to refund my shipping cost.

I then called FedEx to see when I could expect my package. To my surprise, they informed me that they couldn't deliver to my PO BOX. I asked if they could change the address to my home, but they said I needed to contact Famous Footwear to pay $18 to change the shipping label. I called Famous Footwear and explained the situation. However, they told me that they were not going to call FedEx to change the label and that I would have to wait an additional 10 days to receive my shoes.

I was frustrated and confused by the lack of customer service. The lady I spoke with even told me that they had refunded my shipping cost, but I never received it. She then suggested that I order a new pair of shoes and pay for them if I wanted them sooner. I couldn't believe it and was left feeling angry and disappointed.

Overall, my experience with Famous Footwear was not a positive one. The lack of communication and willingness to help was disappointing. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.

I recently made an order on July 16th on famousfootwear.com. As soon as I placed the order, the money was taken from my account. However, I changed my mind about the shoes and decided to cancel the order. When I called customer service, they told me that they couldn't do anything for me once the order was processed. I was surprised because I hadn't even received a confirmation email yet. They said they would send one now, but I found it a bit shady.

I recently made a purchase on Famous Footwear's website right before the Black Friday sale. They took the money out of my account, but I didn't receive any shipment confirmation. I checked my order status on their website, but it said to wait 24 hours for an update. After a week, I received an email saying that my refund had been processed. I was confused and disappointed, so I decided to call their customer service to see what happened.

To my surprise, the customer service representative was extremely rude. He told me that they sold me shoes that they didn't have in stock. I was frustrated because I missed out on other Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales from different stores because I thought I already had shoes. When I expressed my disappointment, the representative only offered me a 15% discount to buy another pair of shoes.

I asked if I could get a different color of the same shoe for the same price, but he told me that he could only offer the 15% discount. The color I ordered was cheaper for some reason, but he didn't seem to care. To make matters worse, he hung up on me! I was disappointed and unhappy with the way I was treated, so I decided not to purchase anything else from Famous Footwear.

It's a shame because I've heard good things about their products, but their customer service needs improvement. I hope they take this feedback seriously and work on providing better service to their customers.

Famous Footwear Terrible Customer Service and Product Quality at Famous Footwear - My Disappointing Experience

I've been shopping at Famous Footwear for a long time now, but my recent experience with them was the worst I've ever had. It happened on July 8, 2014, and I was extremely disappointed with their customer service and the quality of their products.

I went to the store to buy two pairs of shoes, but they didn't have them in stock. So, I ordered them online and had them delivered to my home address. However, when the shoes arrived, one pair was completely wrong. I was very upset and disappointed, so I returned them to the store for an exchange.

Unfortunately, the in-store associate wasn't very welcoming, and I had to file a complaint about my experience. They reordered the shoes for me, but I had to wait for over a week and a half to receive them. When I called to track my order, I was told that the shoes were not available as of July 12th, and a refund check was going to be issued. However, as of July 15th, the process hadn't even started yet. I was shocked and frustrated that I never received a phone call or an email letting me know about this huge inconvenience.

When I spoke with the supervisor, they had absolutely no clue how to answer my questions. It was a terrible experience, and I decided that I will never shop at Famous Footwear again. I will also let everyone I know to shop with caution. I might even contact the BBB to report my experience.

Overall, I was very disappointed with Famous Footwear's customer service and the quality of their products. It's a shame because I've been a loyal customer for over 15 years, but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope they can improve their services and products in the future.
