Famous Footwear store manager - alyssa barrera

I placed an order on february 4, 2019 for one pair of shoes to be shipped to the store. When I came in to check if they had been shipped on february 11, 2019 the store manager alyssa sent one of her workers to check the mail box (mind you she gave him vague directions for his first time ever checking it) and he called to tell her there was nothing in the mail box. She then said "they haven't gotten here, do you not have a tracking number where you can check on them?" I then proceeded to ask her if there was anyone I could talk to because this same situation has happened multiple times and she rudely threw a binder on the counter, started flipping through the pages and said, with attitude, "let me write down the customer service number so you can call them for a refund and never shop here again!" no customer deserves to be treated like this. I asked her for her name and left. I did not appreciate being treated with such poor customer service by the store manager.

Store called back saying my shoes would be in shortly. Either way, no customer should go through this.

My sister and I went into this location today, january 8th 2019 at 6:51p.m. I needed to exchange some boots that I bought online and the two associates there were very rude. They complained about the box the shoes were in because it was a little damaged. I recieved it that way. When I asked if I could exchange them, the guy was pushy on me getting different...

Famous Footwear harassed by a racist employee/discrimination

A friend and I walked into famous footwear in coloradosprings off north nevada obviously to look for a pair of shoes. I thought that's what you do when you go into a shoe store. We weren't there but 5 minutes. My friend went to the men's section and I went to the women's clearance section. You would think that was normal right. By the time I walked down one isle the isle that had my size shoes. I didn't see anything I liked so I walked towards my friend to see if he found anything he liked. Mind you we have only been there for about 5to10 min. While I was walking towards my friend there was two security guards there and this lady complaining about my friend. When he walked to the men's side he instantly seen a pair of nike's he liked and they had his size so he tried them on and he liked them. While he was tying the shoes he put the ones he had on in the box and as soon as he stands up to go pay for the shoes this lady was in his face with two security guards. It is not uncommon for someone to wear their new pair of shoes that they bought out of the store. When I walked up to him he was already paying for the shoes. If she would have done her job instead of discriminating against my friend. If the harassment wasn't enough the highly rude and unprofessional racist behavior from marie violated our constitutional rights. She could have took the time to ask him if there was anything she could help him with. I have never felt so violated against in my life. Why would one of your employees do this to anyone? Was it because we are not white? Did we look too broke for her liking? Or was it because they were nike shoes? How dare you marie! Who are you to judge anyone! This kind of behavior is unacceptable for any human being. You guys are enabling bad behavior for your employees if she gets away with this.

Famous Footwear $55 roxy shoes

I got a pair of $55 (roxy) shoes and three months later the material in the back was coming apart from soul. I have never in my life had this happen I take really good care of my shoes. They normally last me a long time. I really wanted to go in the store and be like, what the heck! instead I wore them around for another month getting more and more mad about wasting my money on them. Then I found a pair of knock offs at Walmart you cant really tell that they're not the same shoe. So I'm doing a test to see how long these ones last, if they last longer than three mo. That's ridiculous. Is there anything I can do beside leave roxy a bad review?

Famous Footwear online order

Placed order 8/20/18 and received tracking info 8/20/18 but nothing has been shipped. Credit card was charged but no shipment has been made. I was on hold for 1 hour 23 minutes before giving up last night (8/27). On hold again after confirming with FedEx that the tracking number is correct but that they have not received the package as of yet.

Obviously total incompetence on their part.

Finally spoke to a representative and found out that the shoes are/were out of stock. All they could do was finally issue a credit to my card.

Famous Footwear adidas sneaker

I order on line a pair of Adidas Sneakers size 2 for my son and a few days later they mailed me a pair of Adidas boots size 4., even though in the invoice that came with the order it was showing the correct shoes. I called to customer service and they where asking me to return then to store it by mail and after u do that call again to the customer service so they could send me the shoes that I paid for. So they wanted to keep my money while all the process of return was completed for a mistake I didn't make. More than two weeks later I finally get the right sneakers and I now don't want them because they have made me waste a lot of time and money and I already had to go to the store get another pair. I have made 3 calls to customer service gone to the store and 2 times to fedex., and they still have my money. Is a complete disrespect to the customer
Such a bad service, very very unsatisfied

Famous Footwear Customer Service

My names is Melissa Fontenot [protected], I am a very frequent customer as you can see by my reward card. I do just about all my shopping at the Riceland Pavilion in Baytown Texas.
I was really happy when y'all reopened it after hurricane Harvey.
On 8/11/2018 (tax free weekend & BOGO 1/2 off) I purchased 4 pairs of shoes, 2 of which where for my grandchild who was not with me at the time. I got the wrong size so on 8/15/18 I took her with me to exchange them and to make sure I got her the size she needed in the exact same shoes...
Same every thing plus having the receipt...
The "Assistant Manager" Rashad was call to help me but after several tries not knowing how to do a return and 15 minutes of us waiting patiently he told me that "the shoes where not on sell anymore so for me to get the BOGO that I had to pay the difference" I told him it did not work that way, that all I wanted to do is do an even exchange... After trying to get him to understand that he turned from me to my son and asked him if he could tell him how it worked so my son could get me to understand what he was saying, my son, knowing that Rashad was wrong and being very disrespectful, told him No...
After that Rashad told me that there was nothing he could do that if I wanted to exchange I had to pay the difference but he was not going to argue with me he did not have time...
Well, needless to say I left. I went back on 8/17/18 to speak with a manager, the young girl told me she was an assistant manager Ydana so she would help me. I was telling her what had happened with their other assistant manager and she tried to tell me the same thing... By this time I was very upset and told her it did not work that way... Ydana puts her hand up and closes her fingers down as like when you are tell someone to "shut up" that I was not going to talk to her that way and she was not going to help me.
Another person who said she was the manager came up, at his point I was beyond being furious I forgot her name, I told her what had happened she apologized and with a few minutes she was done.
Finding out that the 2 "Assistant Managers" have only been there a couple of months...
I am a Manager in a grocery chain, I have been for 24 years and I know how customer are.
They are not alway right but customer service is what brings them back...
I do understand it's hard to find good help and you sometimes have to make do with who have
but giving them a title does not give them the right to treat people poorly...
It's asham but we can purchase everything online nowadays, yes even groceries, but I like to go shopping.
But as long as you have those so call Assistant Managers Rashad & Ydana working at that location I won't be shopping there any longer and nether will my family...
I will also be putting it on social media about that location...
Sorry for my rant to go on so long but if you have employees who talk to and treat customers in that manner you will eventually lose that customer, then another then another then another...
Who low does the customer count have to go before you close the doors?

Famous Footwear poor mgmt

Hello. I am very upset about a visit to your Durango store this afternoon. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes online and they did not fit. I called customer service to inquire how to return and was instructed to return in store. Keep in mind I have to drive an hour to the nearest store. Unfortunately with my package no receipt was included. I arrived at the store and the manager Crystal said there was nothing she could do without a receipt. I told her o have the email confirmation and the shipping info. She looked at it and said she didn't think it was legit. Telling my husband that it looks like a famous footwear email but she wasn't sure. I even showed her my PayPal receipt. This woman didn't want to help me from the time I walked in the door. I then asked her what to do and she had no input other than to hand me back my shoes and be done. I then proceeded to call customer service to try to prove to her that I am NOT A SCAM ARTIST wifb my order number. She was in the process of calling as well. This manager was very rude, dismissive, angry, condescending, and snarky. She did not want to help me from the beginning. After waiting 15-20 minutes on hold we both got in touch with customer service. She was very upset that I was talking to customer service as the same time she was. She wanted me to hang up the phone. At this point I am so appalled at the way I was being treated I really didn't know what to do. She tells me that I need to get off the phone or take my shoes and leave. Then she says she is going to call rhw police. Ok call the police. I have done nothing wrong. Finally the customer service agent that she is talking to refunds me. I told her that I would like to wait for the refund email as I feel like she would just take my shoes at this point and throw them away. Email comes through and I thank her and leave. This now has been almost am hour. I felt unsafe and persecuted for absolutely no reason. This woman had blue and purple hair I think her name was Crystal. I will never be back and will advise other people to do the same. I own a very successful online business and cannot imagine ever making a customer feel like she did to me.

Famous Footwear sales associate/manager

Yesterday 08/20/18 I went into the Famous Footwear store at 6010 W 86th St, Indianapolis, IN 46278. As I walked into the store I was greeted by a young lady named Alicia (whom was very polite and helpful). I headed to the store to purchase bigger shoes, nothing in particular in mind, at the moment I just wanted any pair of shoes that would make my feet feel comfortable. After looking around at the different options and trying different shoes on, I couldn't help but notice another associate by the name of Stacy creeping up just staring at me and following me around the store the whole time. I am currently 7 months pregnant, just getting off work, struggling to walk on the shoes I currently had on, with feet so swollen it hurt to give a next step, so yes I was taking my time comparing my options and trying on all the shoes I could to see which would better fit my need, as I am on my feet all day at work. I did not appreciate being followed around the store, I did not appreciate being stared at while I am trying shoes on, I did not appreciate having her on my back as if I was going to sneak a pair of shoes under my scrubs (which fit tight due to the pregnancy) and walk out the store. I felt extremely offended and uncomfortable having her behind me every second. It was like a puppy behind snacks, every isle I went in, she was there just looking at me. To make it even worse, I was not the only person in the store. Other customers who needed help would have to go find her to ask for help, while she watched me. Alicia was at the register helping other customers, Stacy was watching me, and customers were coming to find her to be helped. At one point she noticed I was not feeling comfortable with her behind me and began to arrange boxes in the same isle I was in. Even if I was looking at the shoes above the boxes she would not say excuse me, or tell me to give her a moment while she finished arranging the boxes. She would just be in the way of the isle not moving for me or anyone else trying to pass by. For a slight minute she did step away to watch another gentlemen that was in the store walking around and as he noticed her, he walked out the store. As a person who comes from a family that owns a couple business I cannot imagine having an employee making customers feel that pressure while shopping. As a customer it makes me not want to go back, very disappointing since Famous Footwear has such variety of shoes and sizes. You would think that after making a purchase she would back off as that is profit for the company which of course benefits her as an employee, no customer purchases, no income for the company, no income for her. After I walked to the register, she went and stood next to Alicia and watched her ring me up, as if she did not know what she was doing. Very unprofessional.

Famous Footwear in Lee Summit.
Started walking in store and just trying to look for shoes foe my daughter for school, while waiting for my oldest Daughter on her Interview in another store on the strip.
As we're looking for shoes for school in about the first 5-10mins I notice that that a lady that waa working there started following us around as if we we didnt seem to be there.. So i was like ok" maybe it was just that she was justvdoing her job of looking for a type of particular shoe, And just so happen it just was in the same aisles that we were looking in.
But it was when i notice that she was really beginning to get very obvious of what it seem to be, Harassment.
So then i started walking towards the front because my daughter wanted to look at these converse tennis shoes and Once Again everytime here she comes again following Us in the same area and staring... and so then we're like what is going on here" are we not suppose to be in here because we were the only African American in there along with and cacasion mother with maybe her young daughter and her mixed/ african American friend along her side, at this point I notice that Not one persons... But me and my Daughter being Followed.)
And at that point I told my daughter lets go look and find your Father and brother some shoes and there she ((Kelly)) comes Again!

Sooo at this point I turns around and Ask the lady is there a problem why your following us but she looked and didn't reply which i thought that was a Lil odd... Cause surely she should wanna reply then just ignore the issue"" At this point it didnt Stop!

So then I tell my daughter lets go because it seems that we're not wanted in here and felt sooo Very outta place at this matter.
Before we left I stopped at the front desk and asked the young lady at the cashier who was the manager and she replied ((kelly)) which was the lady that had been following us thoughout the store.

That's when I told her what had happen for the reason why I had asked. Then me and my Daughter proceeded and left very extremely pissed and very Uncomfortable all at the same time.

Want Further Action at this matter... Or some type of disciplinary Action.

Famous Footwear online ordering

I was at vintage faire mall Modesto here in Modesto California last night saw some shoes but left and went to another store. When we came back the store was closing so we opt to order online which we did, we got a order number saying our order will be ready for pick up by 12 the next day. So 12 came and nothing so by 5pm I called and spoke with Jonathan he had a attitude and told me there's no order under the name I gave him so right after we get a notification saying our order is not in stock but online says yes. So we went in the store and boom they have the shoes. So I left and called again I spoke with johnathan and explained that they did have them in stock and why was my order canceled and he said he couldn't tell me anything. Long story short I would never shop here ever again very poor customer Service.

Famous Footwear customer service

Place order on July 28, 2018, online. Northern California fires start in Lake County and Mendocino County. Eventually everybody starts getting evacuation on cell phones. I call and as my story says the female customer rep tells me if it can't be delivered your post office which is closed, I'm told it will go to the previous address I ordered from. Don't live there anymore. She tells me I have to call Fed Ex to have the shipment stopped. Next thing you know it's Mandatory Evacuation. She could have tried to help me in some way while I was trying to figure out what to do. So if it's your policy that a customer has to call Fed Ex during a disaster situation, there's something wrong with your company. I have two boys who have ordered off your Website and they also have friends that do to. So now it's going to get passed along as to how you treat your customers. Go to [protected]@pissedoff.com to read my story and how I was treated by customer service during the evacuation in the northern California and might I add it's the biggest fire in the history of California. The person who sent me to the post office and said my tennis shoes were there should be fired. Even my Fed Ex tracking didn't show that they were at my post office. As I said, I believe he did this on purpose. Take me off your email list and remove my account. I want nothing more to do with your company and others will be calling also do be removed. I am going to hit every Website possible.

Famous Footwear i’m complaining about service in your flemington, nj store

Today we went to FF in Flemington. My husband is handicapped & walks with a walker or a cane. There was a cart right outside our car so he didn't need the walker . When we got into the store, we asked for the stockingettes to use. She never answered the question but barked orders in front of other customers that carts were not allowed inside. My husband said he had a hard time walking around and she repeated no carts allowed! He left the cart in the store by the door and he used me to help balance himself while we found shoes. We spent $170 plus ! As we were checking out we told the assistant manager, Annette what had happened. She did nothing, not even an apology and we said sometimes allowances should be made for someone who clearly has trouble walking. She rung us up, literally threw our bag in the cart ( that was STILL in the store ) and said, " Now you can take the cart out! If we hadn't already paid we would have walked out! We have been loyal customers for years but will think twice before going back. Thank you for your time.

Famous Footwear Honest exchange

I hate to be that customer who complains about customer service but i am very bothered by an experience i had in the middletown ny store today. Over the past month or so, my family and i have spent hundreds on new shoes within the store and also online. Bogo is my favorite time to shop as our family has lots of growing boys. One pair i got was for my toddler. A pair of all white leather converse. We tried them on in the store and thought they were the right fit. Upon going home, i noticed they were bothering my sons feet so we didn't use them I put them right back in the box with the receipt and brought them back to the store for an exchange. He wore them in the store and that was it! The manager at the time was so rude to me without even giving me a chance to explain that the shoes were only worn in the store upon trying them on. Pure white shoes, can be expected to have some kind of worn looking parts. In fact the day we bought them, we had to go through a few boxes to find ones that looked freshly white. I am aware of the policy and have also worked at this store in the past so i would never try to bring visibly worn and dirty shoes back to the store. The manager was nasty and very unprofessional. And after all the fuss, she allowed me to exchange the shoes. I don't understand why she felt obligated to give me such a rough time only to honor the exchange. I just find it very unfair to treat any customer let alone a pregnant and unthreatening customer with such rude service. I am also aware of what is acceptable to exchange in the store. I am very bothered by this treatment and would hope that managers of other FF stores do not adopt this behavior. I'd love to continue shopping here but from this experience i will not. I will also make sure other moms and dads do not use this store for their back to school purchases. No one deserves that. Thank you

Famous Footwear return policy

I purchased a pair of sneakers on 6/13 an wore them once. The sneakers are so uncomfortable that I never wore them again. I tried to exchange them on 7/28 as I've been to busy to get there any sooner. Was surprised when they told me because they were worn I could not exchange them.
Sometimes you cannot get a feel for comfort until you actually wear them.
I personally have purchased 3 pairs of work boots over the past year and two pairs of sneakers.
As Im walking out the door with my wife and son, she says, "Ya know, we're all wearing famous footwear shoes.
Attached is a picture of the undamaged, once worn sneakers and the receipt.
Our family of 6 will be taking our business elsewhere unless these sneakers can be exchange or credit given.
Sincerely,
Dan Sourwine

Famous Footwear cashier

I can not express how uncomfortable I felt in this store. The man that was working, associate number 242594 at the Seaside Factory outlet was very inappropriate. He kept stalking me up and down the isles. He would stand in an isle across from me and just stare at me. Then he would move to the end of the isle and stare at me. He continued to do this the whole time I was TRYING to shop. I felt so uncomfortable that I felt I couldn't even shop! I couldn't even brows because it made me nervous. I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life!

Famous Footwear unassigned gender for kid shoes

I went shopping for my son and I came to realize that the kids shoes were all mixed up. I wasn't sure why at first. My son really liked some summer shoes. I then asked the employee if the shoes were boy or girl shoes. He answered that the kids shoes were no longer being assigned a specific gender. I wasn't too pleased with that because when I ended up looking at the tag on the shoes, it specifically said "girls". Now when I'm trying to find shoes for my son, I want to go to the same side where the mens' shoes are next to the boys' shoes. As a shopper, I don't appreciate my time being wasted trying to decipher between girl and boy shoes. If someone wants to buy the opposite sex shoes then they are more than free to go to that specific side. It really makes the shopping experience inconvenient for a busy working mother. Your company needs to stay out of the issue of equality and focus more on customers convience of not having to look at double the shoes for boys AND girls. I don't think any shoe store in the world would dare mix men and women shoes so why mess with the kids. It just puts your company's agenda in the mix. I plan to shop elsewhere where the boy and girl shoes are clearly separate. Stop with your propaganda!

Famous Footwear customer service

I went to the store on Wednesday where I wasn't greeted or spoken to. I tried asked for help and the two associates that I saw were just standing around and talking. It was so disrespectful. When I walked to the register to pay I was not asked if I found everything ok. They just kept talking over me. I wanted to get a few more pairs but it wasn't a friendly environment. I felt unwelcome and I will not returning to this location. This is the second time I came in with one of them just standing around and talking.

Famous Footwear manager skills

on GUAM I bought a pair of walking shoes and the insole was sticking out and poking the heal of my foot,
the manager NIKI no last name was given to me, was giving me and my wife such a hard time like we were low-life's trying to steal something. she really talked down to us and gave us bad looks. I even had to ask if she was a manager due to the way she was talking to us. I explained we just bought the shoes and all we wanted was a replacement, she "NIKI" was horrible and very much unprofessional in customer service.
