Bed bugs pest control
Good Afternoon,
In reference to the unresolved bed bugs treatment issue at 27 Carlyle Avenue UB1 2LN, I was advised to book a early morning slot which was 8:00 am, which was quiet inconvenient for us and the infant’s living in the house to wake up early morning and get them to sleep at the neighbours house. Having packed up all the duvets and dismantled the beds, we have been left with the messWe have been waiting for the service but it never turned up. However, for all the mess that we were left with, I would like to log a formal complaint on the case and would like some senior officials to deal with the case. I am making the full report on the case with all the written and photo/video evidence and assure you that I would be taking the issue to trading standards for the poor quality of service and will make sure that it is dealt with. I will be waiting for a full refund as soon as possible. I would be seeking for every little compensation for all the suffering that has been caused to our family members health including my infant childrens.
The service that was being dealt with under trust. The process that could not be rectified as there is no such procedure where costumer can check what pesticides has been used to resolve the issue and certainly it was ineffective after various treatment, and the trust has been broken. I will make sure with all my resources I will be dealing with the company.
Despite the efforts to get in touch with the company, there has been no response. This is my third effort to contact the management, but was ignored. I would like to contact one of the management personnel to resolve the issue.

cleaner broke my water tap
Disgraceful. The cleaner broke my water tap and I made a complaint. The complaint team ignore my message for couple of months until I sent them the email again. After that, they asked me for evidence and I provided the very solid evidence. But they ghosted me for another 5 months. You need to make sure 100% avoid this company because they will do nothing when the cleaners break something. So UGLY.

Removal nightmare
1. I had a removal service (22051904POTO) on May 24th at 9am to dismantle the wardrobe into components and move it to the storage. This was all done fine. The wardrobes were in complete shape with all of it pieces in tact.
2. On July 5th, I booked a removal service to bring the wardrobes back from the storage to my apartment, AND to put it together. I spoke very clearly with a guy called Dustin in custom we service, I even sent him the pictures of the wardrobes so the professionals know how to put it together. The booking is 22063012POTO. The professionals brought the pieces of the wardrobes to my apartment, the 4 doors and several pieces are missing with no explanation, they dump the pieces there and left.
3. Raised a complain, no resolution after 3 weeks. The house move was so stressful and this company has made it so much worse. I’m living a nightmare now extremely distress, unable to unpack my clothes in boxes because I have no wardrobes, unable to live in peace because of this CRIMINAL company. They refuse to talk to me on the phone like human beings and reply to messages every few days with no real solution to my nightmare caused by them.
Tod Brewster who managed the case is a criminal, or unresponsive and incompetent.

After this complaint was raised, fantastic services reached out and assigned a new case worker named Carrie. Carrie is amazing, she was responsive, understanding and very competent at her job. Carrie gave me update frequently and resolved the problem within a week. The removal cost was also fully refunded and they also sent me a lovely hamper to apologize. I just hope everything in customer service is like Carie.
Removals 16/7/22. Damage to new American fridge . Complaints Ref 2206151303SYS
Very poor service. Lack of communication between yourselves and your subcontractors. The 3 men came unequipped without an appliance trolley as I requested several times on the telephone with the multiple people I spoke to on the telephone before today . As a result we couldn't get the appliance through the gate. 2ndly they did not have grip gloves on . All removal men have grip gloves. Their hands kept slipping on the fridge. They removed the protective rubber covering. With their hands on the fridge itself . Those men are not trained removal men and you have not trained them professionally. They didn't have a clue what they were doing. 2 neighbours on the road came also to observe them and were shocked because they were clueless. They eventually got the American fridge in but in the process damaged the fridge. There are several dents and scratches now on my brand new unused fridge. I'm very angry. I didn't make they complete the job to move the 2nd fridge after noticing the damage they made to the first fridge . See photos . I now have to contact LG on Monday to see if I can get a replacement door parts to replace the damaged door. You have the responsibility to make sure your men are equipped , capable and knowledgeable on removals. On this occasion you've let me down and damaged my property. I will be sending you the invoice for the replacement parts.

Waited all day. No one turned up to pick up the rubbish. I made the payment already. Rescheduled my slot from 4pm to 8 pm. It's 10 pm now. No-one called me or noone came to pick the rubbish. I booked a one off clean service, as I’m getting married next week and wanted the house to look good for our families coming over.
They arrived yesterday and I have to say it is the worst cleaning experience that I have ever had. They broke our shower screen, and said that they will come back later that day and repair it, which they didn’t day! They also completely ruined a very precious piece of furniture that my mother had given me. It is not replaceable, and will cost at least £80 to get any kind of alternative replacement. My fiancé had bought Indian elephants from his time on India, and they have been broken. They did not replace any items that they had cleaned and just left me to put everything back in its place again. They didn’t dust any frames on the mantelpiece or anything. They didn’t clean behind any of the toilets. Angry does not even begin to tell you how I feel!
I have been in touch with the complaints department, but they’ve not even acknowledged this complaint.

Membership
I booked a service with Fantastic Services last weekend. On the phone, the sales representative repeatedly asked me to sign up to annual membership, which I refused. Eventually, the rep stated that the membership would be free for one year and could be cancelled at any time. He repeatedly said I would not have to pay anything for the membership, that it would be free for a trial year and that signing up to membership would actually reduce the cost of my service from £284 to £283. I verbally agreed on the basis it would cost nothing. The cost of membership (£89) was then however illegally taken from my card and my service was also charged at £295, higher than the price advertised. I have reached out to Fantastic Services several times and no one will deal with me or refund me the £89 (which should really be a refund of £100 to refund the different the actual service was charged at compared to the price quoted). This was deceitful and misleading marketing, complete lies were told to me over the phone.

I’m complaining about your gardeners who are working on the back garden of 10 Bensham manor road’ Thornton Heath CR7 7AA’ the loud gardening work started at about 6 o clock and is still rattling on at 19.40 at night’ I persisted with the constant loud noise of the industrial lawn mower and other electrical gardening devices’ as well as the noise the 4/5 guys in the garden that are shouting there mouths off with a total disregard for any neighbours’ the mower is constantly being turned on and off while they have a million cigarette breaks’ when I finally just spoke to the men and is now almost 8 o clock at night and that by law any loud gardening or building works has to be done by 6 o clock in the evening the response i got was totally unprofessional and aggressive and a total disrespect of your company’s policies where they shrugged there shoulders and said they didn’t care because who was I gonna complain too and that my complaint won’t get me anywhere which I very very disgusted to hear that your employees speak to people that are simply voicing there right to ask the question when is the noise going to stop’ one man said he didn’t care about what I’m saying another was very aggressive to the point of what seemed like threats and another just laughed in my face and another smiled and just walked off’ it seems as these men don’t hold or respect your values as a company because to intimidate me and belittle me and have a total disregard to any policies you have and then too say we don’t care do what ever you want to do make a complaint’ I’m in total shock that I have been treated like this by your employees’ i work in a customer service job and I have never seen a group of men that are employed by a company like yours too flaunt there unprofessional attitude towards a neighbour of the garden in question’ to be told there’s nothing you can do’ and the aggressive tone and demeanour and a shear lack of professionalism towards your company I mean they are driving your van they are wearing your company t/shirts and advertising your company’ this whole incident had upset me’ angered me and left me shocked and bewildered that they don’t respect your company enough to follow law with there noise pollution and uphold the best customer service’ Why did these men start a whole garden so late in the evening after 6 o clock ? when as far as I know the law states that any loud machinery gardening equipment etc must stop at 6 o clock and too still be using this very loud equipment at 8 o clock at night is out right noise pollution and very disrespectful to any neighbours’ as well as there constant very loud shouting’ laughing and joking’ machinery turned on and off on and off throughout to suit there cigarette breaks which just ramped up the noise’ I hope by giving you the address of the garden they were working on and the time that you can address this incident and identify these men because one of the big men just said it doesn’t matter if you make a complaint we don’t care there’s nothing you can do and so what with shrugged shoulders’ it’s the aggressive threatening demeanour that really worries me as my mother has Parkinson’s and really didn’t need the noise this late at night and how loud they were shouting constantly like no one lived here it’s like they are aloud to act in this way and that obviously others have made complaints about them to no avail why else would one of the men say the things he said about who cares there’s nothing you can do’ and then to top it off to be laughed at to my face was just upsetting and the reason for this complaint’ I hope I have detailed this incident enough’ so too recap it’s Saturday the 2nd of July there were 4/5 men that I think were polish or Eastern European’ they started work at after 6 o clock in the evening and were still working past 8 o clock they were dismissive intimidating threatening aggressive rude and show a total lack of respect for your company and any neighbours’ the address of the garden they were working on is…. 10 Bensham Manor road’ Thornton Heath’ Croydon’ CR7 7AA…… my name is Anthony and I live next door at 12 Bensham manor road’ my email is [protected]@blueyonder.Co.uk if you want to contact me that way and my phone number is [protected] I’d you feel the need to call me’ Thankyou

Membership credits policy
I signed up to Fantastic Services membership in February 2022. After having an overall decent feedback in the past few months, I had a bad surprise when using them the last time.
The £89/year membership is advertised and explained as providing £300 credits, to be used across 10 different services, on top of some more favourable rates.
As of today, I had received £30 discount from the credits for each service: oven cleaning, afterbuilders cleaning, removals, end of tenancy cleaning, plumbing and handyman.
I booked a service for mounting a TV and a few other items to walls and asked during the booking if all membership discounts would apply - which was confirmed to me.
Retrospectively, I found out that the £30 discount wasn't applied. When inquiring with customer support, I was told they wouldn't apply the discount because they categorized the service as handyman and I had already used it before.
It is clearly misleading from their side to clarify this retrospectively. I genuinely and honestly believed "across 10 different services" meant credits could be used in 10 distinct events - not that I had to chose from different service categories and exhaust the credit after that. I believe they should have clarified that when explicitly asked if I would benefit from the discounts. They also refuse to categorize my service as TV mounting - which is what it was in fact and would make me eligible to use the £30 credit.
All in all, the membership terms are misleading and the customer service is not customer centric but rather exploit unclear terms.
Desired outcome: I want the £30 credit to be applied to my last service and an apology from the customer service.
Similar to other users, I signed up to the membership for the £300 credits - only to find out later that I basically can't use them anymore. The customer services continues pointing to T&Cs and are totally unreasonable when I explain they misled me and provided wrong answers. Too bad, cause some of the people doing the job are actually good people.

Scam Company!
Do not waste your time / money on this company. They are quick to take your money & do not refund when they admit fault for not providing the service that you have paid for. I booked a post build clean. I explained that we needed a deep clean of our house, to remove plaster & dust from our wooden flooring which was destroyed by builders. The service states cleaners will use industrial equipment, detergents & pressure washers. 2 cleaners arrived with a Henry Hoover & a steam mop! I called the office who confirmed their mistake with our booking. My house is still a mess. No refund provided!

Taking money out of my account without authorisation
I booked a gardener through Fantastic Services in June last year and had to cancel as it was rescheduled continuously. Fantastic Services have just taken a payment of £89 out of my bank account without authorisation, causing me to go overdrawn. I do not understand why they have taken the payment and why they still have my bank details a year later.

why are you saying you "assure you we would never allow to obtain any payments without your knowledge and confirmation" when you have just done this and this and it is the whole reason for my complaint? £89 has been taken from my account without my knowledge and confirmation. i need this returned immediately as it has caused my to go overdrawn and I will not have sufficient funds in my account for payments due tomorrow. I do not have a booking reference as I had to cancel my booking as you kept rescheduling it for later dates, as mentioned previously mentioned.

House cleaning/window cleaning
Im so disappointment in this company as well as feel disrespected by the workers of this company.
I booked 2 weeks prior to the time of my house needing to be clean as I had a inspection due on 17/06/22. I booked this service in for the 16/06/22 as Fantastic Services kept cancelling my appointment due to unforeseen reason.
On the day of the service 3 gentleman had arrived 20 minutes late as they were advised to be at my property by 1pm! They were rude, disrespectful & unprofessional! They cancel the job as soon as they arrived to my property because the property apparently was "too big" when it shouldnt matter its their job to do what their suppose to do!
This company is horrible & disgusting! Rips you off for your money! Will never recommend to anyone ever!

One off clean
It was a disaster the whole process, from getting in touch with the company to them saying I hadn't payed a deposit, to having to send proof of payment to then my appointment being apparently cancelled AGAIN. I was REPEATEDLY told the cleaners come with there own cleaning products which never happened! I cant fault the cleaner herself she was great however she couldn't speak a word of english meaning she greeted me with a translator on her phone. The oven cleaner came separately and was rude. He said we would have to pay extra to even wipe over the electric hob. It was a complete disaster from start to finish and won't ever use this company again which is a shame as I originally booked for a off clean but wanted a weekly cleaner. Never again
I posted my upsetting experience that I had with Fantastic Services as myself and my partner were gutted. We received a call from the company and it was Stacey who was absolutely amazing, helped us resolve this problem. Whatever training Stacey had... all staff there should have because every person I spoke to before we had the clean were absolutely diabolical! Stacey was a STAR and if it wasn't for her saving our experience I wouldn't recommend the company to anyone!

Domestic cleaning: damage to property, disrespectful and food stolen
On 31.5.22, I arranged with Fantastic Services for two cleaners to be sent to my property for two hours at 1600.
Instead, three cleaners arrived at 1530: no effort made to clean their hand upon entry, nor clarify what my wishes were.
Instead I was met with sighing and irritation.
I used google translate to translate my wishes into Bulgarian as it was clear they had no intention of communicating otherwise. They read the instructions out loud and thanked me. My instructions were clear: focus on the three downstairs bedrooms, downstairs bathroom, downstairs toilet and shower; move the furniture and clean thoroughly. When they moved into the kitchen area, I again stated that I wished those areas to be done thoroughly.
I left the property for 30 mins.
When I arrived back, the three were upstairs in the bathroom, slamming my soft-closing fittings shut forcefully. The upstairs walk-in closet door had been opened in the wrong direction, partially avulsing the hinges from the frame. It now hangs skewed and cannot be opened without further damaging the frame.
In the kitchen, I found an expensive crystal glass on the counter, half empty with three defrosting ice cubes. Food had been taken from the pantry.
On inspecting the rooms, the baby's room smelt of cigarettes and spiders webs remained around the window frame. In my office/ bedroom, my papers had been moved but NO attempt to dust ANY of the surface has been made. Two dead flies remained on my cream carpet.
I am appalled.
Desired outcome: Full refund of payment. Full compensation for repairs and replacement of door frame.
Further comment has been made by the company to my personal account: refund has been given however no effort to fix the damage to the upstair walk-in wardrobe door. The previous offer of repair has been rescinded by the Customer Care Team. Their response: "With regard to the damage, the provider denies responsibility for that as it would take a lot of force to detach the hinges from the frame like that and the cleaners would never do such a thing intentionally".
Two adults live in the house and built the house; we clearly know which direction the door opens.
This matter is not resolved and will be escalated. I have asked for the complaints procedure within the company but have not received a response. I would be grateful if anyone has insight to this.
Fantastic club membership charges
I joined the fantastic membership club with a membership between 31 May 2021 and 30 May 2022. I have cancelled the auto renewal couple of months ago. I booked a gardening service on 18th May, on the date i am still within my existing membership and realised on 17th May 2022, i was charged with £79 for the membership between 31 May 2022 and 30 May 2023.
When I asked for refund for the new membership fee as i already cancelled my auto renewal. i was told, that first they never received my cancellation, second i will only be refund with £49 as i booked a service on 18th May, which benefited from membership discount.
I would like to understand your logic:
Why can i have the membership benefit while i am still in my current year membership (booked on 18th May and membership expires on 30 May) with 210 credits left in my account.
Desired outcome: full refund of unauthorised membership charge of £79.

Unauthorised charge on my credit card
I have had £79 taken from my account without authorisation. The service provided when I did engage fantastic services was far from fantastic. I tried to complain and to get through to somebody but nobody answered the phones. I want the charge stopped/refunded immediately.
This is a terrible company. Once they have payment the service stops there.

End of tenancy clean
I started the complaints process (22031302SENI) the day of the clean on 18/3/22.
You can see from my attachment that I have been ignored by Fantastic service for almost a week after suggesting a solution.
It has now been over a month and their inability to response fairly, reasonably and with any disagreement of my complaint is clear. I’m disgusted that a company can implicitly agree to my complaint and not wish to continue to reach an agreement.
Desired outcome: To receive a refund of £184, as per the chain of discussion and my calculations.

Pest control
I called out pest control to help with rats on Sunday. The man arrived, and put a load of glue boards down, without fulfilling the legal obligation to come back to check the glue boards every 12hrs. He did not mention the glue boards in his report either. Several rats got stuck on the glue boards and ended up running around my house with the boards stuck to them. I had to pay for a new company to come out and resolve this. Furthermore- the money was taken from my bank account without my permission. Two breaches of legal requirements there. I want a refund and not to have to deal with you again

End of lease cleaning
Booked for end of lease cleaning for 3pm cleaners arrived after 6pm. Terrible service. Place was still dirty and promised they will send cleaners back when I initially booked with them but they didn't. They charged me 349 for only 1 bedroom. They promised I would get my full bond refunded or else they will arrange another cleaning not true. They said they will only provide 30 dollars credit and that they will not send cleaners to clean the place properly. I lodged complaint with them and they still wouldn't help.
Desired outcome: I want my partial refund and to send cleaners again as they promised.
