I found water on my floor, looked all over to try to find where it was coming from, pulled out my refrigerator and saw that it was dripping from the back top where the icemaker is, and was also dripping from the bottom. I had a repairman come out he told me that the bottom seal was cracked and that would be $525 to fix. He then told me he had bad news for me -that behind the icemaker it was corroding and on the backside of the refrigerator it’s going to corrode through. He said it’s very rare for that to happen to a refrigerator and recommend that I didn’t pay to have the seal fixed and deemed my refrigerator unrepairable. I bought this refrigerator late 2018 bought a two year extended warranty and in that time I had to have three different repairman come out to fix the icemaker as it was not working. This may have lead to the issue that has happened now. I called Frigidaire and they told me that the refrigerator only had the one year warranty which I said I knew and then I had bought a two year extended warranty thru Lowes that has passed. The issue I have is that they do not stand by their product. I had saved up for years to buy a nice refrigerator and it lasted me less than four years. I don’t know what I’m gonna do as I cannot afford now to buy another refrigerator and that just absolutely makes me sick. They sold me a lemon refrigerator for a very high price and don’t stand behind their products. I think they need to make exceptions to help people when they sell you a Lemon! To top it all off it has ruined my kitchen floor which is warping with me drying it out.

The most worthless company I've ever had to deal with when it comes to an extended warranty. I purchased and paid for their extended warranty over 2 and a half years ago online at their website and it stated in their warranty book that if anything broke, then the parts would be warranted for repair or be replaced. I have the receipts to prove it. These are functional items. The Shelves rollers in my refrigerator with a metal screw snapped off and broke, well, they will not pay for these shelves, so I asked for a full refund as your warranty had changed, I was told in 2021, go figure, after I had purchased their extended warranty. They will not fulfill their obligation to their written contract. They did not even have my appliance warranties in their system until Jan 2023 when I called for repair on three of my appliances. Almost nearly three years after I had paid nearly 2K for an extended warranty for all of my appliances. They have stolen my money with no resolution. Like many have said with complaints all over the internet on their social platforms, you cannot contact them, or you have to wait an hour or longer to anyone in the US on this issue. I have dealt with these problems too. They will not even allow you to speak to a supervisor. The only way it looks like I am going to be able to get my money back is sue them in small claims court to receive my money back that they fraudulently are keeping and have made interest off of for almost three years now unless this complaint can resolve my issue. For their same extended warranty today, the cost is now double of what I had paid back in 2020. Of course, because their products are not manufactured to last. It even states that you can cancel the warranty at any time and will be refunded the remaining prorated amount left in the months left on the warranty. They will not even do this but, I am requesting for a full refund because they have broken their written contract extended warranty.

We purchased this refrigerator in April 2022. It has been working ok, but we were noticing the fan either never came on (no sound) or worked only occasionally. The drink/cooler drawer never really displayed the temps it was supposed to be set at. Then around Thanksgiving the digital readout board on the door started reading crazy numbers, alarms going off, and flashing the word "HI". The food inside was going from thawing to hard frozen and we couldn't get it to the right temps. We called Customer Service just before Thanksgiving (as I recall), and after a week's wait, they sent a repair man. He ordered two parts, a fan and a panel, and an appointment was made for January 24, 2023, to install them. One part arrived, and one didn't, so Frigidaire canceled my appointment!
Since this is a mechanical marvel, it does everything but repair itself, so the problems are getting worse. Now the icemaker is making ice but it's wet and drips constantly. I have tried calling customer service over and over again to find out what is happening with no answers, and each time I call the wait is longer and longer. One day (Monday Feb 6, 2023) I actually got a message saying due to high call volume they aren't even taking calls. Totally unacceptable. Where do we turn for help? I actually would like to return this expensive pile of garbage. I would like a call back: [protected]. Thank you.

I purchased a fridgidaire dishwasher at home depot November 2022, the dishwasher was installed the same day by a stellar 5 star fourth generation plumber. On that day after installation the plumber advised me there was a leak on the lower left corner when on full cycle. I called home depot the same day and after numerous calls I finally got a call from fridgidaire gave them serial and model number and explained it was a gasket. A part was sent to me and date for a technician, the tech never showed up and it was the wrong part. Again after numerous calls a technician came out looked inside the dishwasher ans said there was nothing wrong. Got in touch with Home Depot headquarters and a second technician was sent out and advised me the dishwasher wasn't installed right. I contacted the plumber and he came out showed me where the dishwasher was attached to the cabinets and brackets on top.
Today I had to have the plumber remove the dishwasher showed me how it was stalled and that only a gasket was needed due to the separation in the gasket, it's February and I haven't been able to use the washer

We purchased and entire Frigidaire appliance package from Lowes.
The refirgerator stopped cooling at the 10 month mark. We called Frigidaire and set up for a tech to come out to take a look.
He confirmed a catastrophic failure, lost all freon and could not be recharged.
Frigidaire insisted it could be repaired and tried to send another technician. The new technician would not come out because, per the tech, Frigidaire never pays them and they wanted me to put up my credit card to maintain the appointment.
So we got a third technician that finally came out and he confirmed the catastrophic failure. but now they are saying they will not cover because the third technician came out past the warranty date. Now keep in mind, we had a technician within warranty range.
They offered me 40% off a new appliance... lol. Based on my experience with their customer service, this is an insult.
Desired outcome: I'm not opposed to a replacement but would prefer a refund.

On Sunday,1/29/2023 my fridge had completely stopped cooling freezing. It is only 2 1/2 years old. What kind of warranty covers only 1 year? Supposedly this is the best brand and states it would last at least 12 yrs. My Kenmore fridge is at least 15 yrs old and I have never had any problems with it. I WOULD NOT recommend FRIGIDAIRE to anyone. What a piece a crap! The integrity of this company is not what it should be. It use to be one of the best in the USA. Not anymore! I had to throw out over $120 worth of food that really hurt especially since I am on a fixed income. Now I have to pay someone to come out and hopefully fix this piece of crap fridge and then I will have to replace the food that went bad that I had to trash. I am so stressed and angry!

Ice maker recall, July 2022, working fine before recall work done. Recall work done late July, the ice maker didn’t work after this. I called back in on the recall number, explained the above and another appointment was set up. I was sent another recall part. Another company was sent out and I was told the water valve was bad and had to be ordered. I never heard anything so I called and was told the part was on back order. After hearing nothing again for a good while, I checked again and was told the same thing. My third call I was told they had returned the work order back to Electrolux because it wasn’t under warranty. After hours trying to reach someone, I was set up with another appointment with Electrolux. The repairman came out and said I needed a water valve. I had to pay for it to get it ordered. He came back and replaced the valve and the ice maker still didn’t work. He had to replace the recalled part with the second one I was sent to get the ice maker working

Dear Frigidaire,
I am writing to bring to your attention a severe issue I have been experiencing with my stove control panel. I purchased a Frigidaire stove from Home Depot on 10/05/2021.
The panel has been displaying random error codes that cause the oven to beep. It randomly turns the oven on and off when it is not in use. The beeping is getting worse by the day and all hours of the night. This issue has been ongoing for over two months and has been getting worse each day.
I have conducted research online and have discovered that many other customers have had similar issues with this product. It is clear to me that this is a manufacturer defect, and I cannot believe that Frigidaire is still selling this product. It is unacceptable that a product that I spent over $1000 on is malfunctioning just after one year of use.
Moreover, the stove is turning on self-clean mode randomly, which is a fire hazard. I do not feel safe using this stove and would like to request a full refund for the product.
I am extremely disappointed with the performance of this product and would like to speak with a higher department at Frigidaire. The severity of this issue has me concerned that this could potentially be a lawsuit waiting to happen.

On July 13, 2022, I purchased the Frigidaire 18.3 cu. ft. top freezer/refrigerator model number FFTR1835VS, serial number BA21202588 at Home Depot, Onalaska, Wisconsin.
Unfortunately, your product and service failed. The compressor of the product failed, and I attempted to contact Frigidaire customer service on several occasions starting Sunday, January 15. I followed up with customer service on Monday, January 16; customer service stated that they were placing a order for a new compressor. I didn’t hear my next steps to resolve this situation, so I called again Wednesday, January 18th. Customer service told me I had a repair appointment through Volkman’s Appliance, Winona, MN for Friday the 20th. So, I followed up with Volkman’s Appliance for confirmation of this appointment and they refused this workorder and told me that they will not be repairing my fridge and I am to call Frigidaire back to have someone else reappointed. I then called customer service on Thursday, January 19 and talked with a supervisor. She told me that I would receive a resolution by Friday end of day. This phone call was never received, and I still do not have a resolution for my failed product. Following up on January 23rd, the customer representative told me that a representative from the escalating team would be in contact with me by the end of day with a new resolution. I am disappointed in the customer service that I have received, and it has been 8 days since the product has failed, and have wasted several hundred dollars in food due to not having a secondary refrigerator/freezer.
To resolve this problem, I would like for you to send a new refrigerator at no cost to me, replace the compressor in the existing unit at no cost to me and performed at a timely fashion. I would also like to be reimbursed $300 in spoiled food. Enclosed are copies of my original sales receipt, warranty, and delivery confirmation.

Refrigerator was chosen as part of the builder's plan for the construction of my new home. It was installed in September, 2022. I moved in the same month. In the middle of December, 2022, the temperature sensor sounded an alarm. The freezer stopped working. Slowly over the course of about 2 weeks, the refrigerator also stopped working. A technician came to diagnose the problem on January 6, 2023. He told me that there was a very slow leak near the bottom of the freezer. He said that this problem happened "all the time" with Frigidaire refrigerators because of the connection not being "braised" the way it was on other valve connections, but instead the connection was of the "lock-ring" type that caused failure and leakage at a high percentage rate. He said he would need to order a new compressor and condenser in addition to the new valve to replace the one that was leaking because of the strong possibility that the compressor and condenser would no longer work once that new valve was replaced and braised into place, which he would do instead of employing the lock-ring once again. As of January 21, 2023, I am still without a working refrigerator, and I don't even know when the new parts will arrive at my home. When they do arrive, I will need to call the repair contractor and schedule another appointment with the technician. I don't know how long of a wait that will be. So as of today I have been without a working refrigerator, which was brand new, for 5 weeks. My understanding was that the replacement parts could take 3-6 weeks. I only found this out when I reached out to my builder, who contacted their Electrolux rep on my behalf. So I may have another 4 week wait on the parts to arrive, and then to call to schedule the technician to come out once again, which may be another 3-4 weeks. I am borrowing a small unit from a friend and existing on that to cool my food in the meantime. It is in the hallway to my home. The important point is that the technician stated that this happens "all the time" and he "couldn't understand why they don't braise this connection too." I am so upset that I will write a letter to the CEO of Electrolux in North America and ask for a compensation of some kind. The refrigerator is still under 1 year warranty, but this is unacceptable because it is unsafe and completely not an optional appliance. Please be aware of this defect when making your purchase decision.
Over the range microwave oven FFMV1645TS does not work anymore after only 4 years

After only 4 years our above the range microwave oven Model FFMV1645TS keeps blowing out the fuse. I am so disgusted with big business. My handy husband replaced the fuse trying out various amperage up to 20 and designated for microwave ovens to no avail too many times to count. The last one does not even last one use. How can responsible companies throw defective machines on the market when environmental pollution is the specter on the wall? I want a replacement with a working microwave oven which should last 20 years at least.
Money will not even buy CEOs a new earth. They might shoot themselves to another planet.

I purchased this refrigerator on September 6th 2022.
It was delivered on October 25th 2022. It did not work at the time.
Home Depot delivered a new refrigerator on November 17th, 2022.
It worked until December 23rd, 2022 and then shut off unexpectedly.
A service technician from A&E factory Service came on January 5th and ordered 2 parts - A Controle Asse and a Board Main Power.
I was informed (after I called to confirm the new appointment on January 25th) that the Board Main Power was no longer being manufactured and I needed to call Frigidaire to discuss new parts.
I paid over 2000 for this refrigerator and the protection plan and it worked for a total of 1 month and 1 week. THAT IS ALL
I have currently been without a refrigerator for over a month - Frigidaire is horrific at answering calls (So many times their automated system says Due to call volume we can't take your call - leaving no options for leaving messages, communicating, or the option for a call back)
I have contacted an attorney as they seem to have no intention of honoring the warranty in a timely fashion and am also pursuing damages for the loss of food, loss of work time to accommodate the expansive time frames of their service technicians, etc.
I've kept receipts - this Frigidaire debacle has cost me over $1000 in damages in addition to the cost of the refrigerator itself.

I have an issue with my appliance. I called Frigidaire for assistance as the product was still under warranty. This was November 2022. They sent a technician from dependable appliances who claimed the product was not working as it needed a fan. He ordered the fan however they did not get back to me until 2 weeks later after I called to inquire what was going on. The same technician came on December 15th and did not install the new fan. He said there was something else wrong with the refrigerator. After not hearing from them after 5 days I called Frigidaire and they sent another company. This technician came on December 27th told me that there was something wrong with the gasket and the rubber around the door and he would have to order the parts. After waiting another 2 weeks with no response I contact Frigidaire again who now assigned a 3rd company to repair the refrigerator. This 3rd company called to schedule the appointment but then said that they were not given sufficient information from Frigidaire and as such they cannot assist I would need to call back Frigidaire. I called Frigidaire and expressed this. They gave me a ticket number and advise that the company RTV Appliances would come the following day to look at the appliance. Again I did not receive a call and no one came to look at the appliance. I called frigidaire again and this time I was able to speak to a supervisor. Unfortunately I did not document the names of the people I spoke to each time. This supervisor assured me that she would get the issue resolved. She went back to the notes of the 2nd company that came and ordered the parts. She said the part would be shipped directly to me and then I should call the repair company to install it. I did not receive the parts. I waited 3 days after the date which the part should arrive and I did not get it.
I have been on the phone with a customer service representative who does not speak clear english. He/She is insisting that I go over the issue I am having from the beginning. He is also advising me that he cannot transfer me to a supervisor.
So to date it has been approximately 3 months that I have been in back and forth contact with Frigidaire and I still do not have a working appliance
Desired outcome: I need the appliance to be repaired or replaced and to be compensated for this extended loss of use and all the things that spoil in there

I hope this message passes on to the correct personnel and they are able to address my issues.
The gas cook top was purchased on 25th June 2020, installed in Oct 2020 and it already had a burner valve issue in end of Nov 2020, when the knob would not rotate at all. A technician was scheduled by Frigidaire service department, and he ordered a part, but it so happened the knob started to rotate after a week the technician left, and we reported this back and no actions were taken.
Last Friday 13th Jan 2023, the knob valve of the smallest burner failed such that the gas would not stop, and it just keeps on flowing. The knob control does not work at all, too. We had to turn off the main gas line valve for this during this period of peak winter.
Frigidaire CSR just tells us that we are not under warranty and provided us few contacts and none of them is ready to come to our house for repairs.
This as I see is a safety issue and needs to be addressed urgently by Frigidaire rather than sitting back and saying it's not under warranty.
Desired outcome: We need this cooktop to be replaced with a good tested and a better designed cooktop such that its valve should not fail in a mnner to just let the gas keep on going and causing such safety hazard.

This range model is installed in many of the apartments in our retirement community, including ours. It is far too easy to turn on a burner accidentally by leaning against the front of the stove and moving ever so slightly, such as in reaching the back or reaching for something in a cabinet above. Several other residents have identified this fire danger as well and have adopted their own temporary strategies. In our case we have removed the knobs from burners not often used. In another, residents routinely use small skewer sticks wedged in behind knobs so that they cannot be pushed in accidentally. The problem is aggravated in small kitchens where counterspace is limited and combustible items are likely to be placed on unused burners, such as in the back. Although not wise to do this, it is commonly observed to occur. This product should be recalled, modified, or supplied with convenient removable chock of some kind to put behind knobs when not in use.
Desired outcome: Generic attention to this problem by the manufacturer before enough fire accidents occur to require a complete recall via CPSC.

Freezer broke August 2022 and customer service was called and was referred to RR Appliances. RR mechanic arrived 1-2 weeks later and replaced thermostat but freezer didn't work. Called Frigidaire and RR mechanic came 1-2 weeks after and hand touched thermostat and said it needed new compressor. Called Frigidaire and operator told me they were sending me parts. 2 weeks later RR replaced timer, filter and compressor. Freezer worked but next day did not work. Called Frigidaire requested to escalate call with supervisor but no results. more calls to Frigidaire were made and RR sent 2 mechanics and early November I was told that it needed a fan. Called Frigidaire and was told by operator that they would send me a part, Received part called RR and was told by a rude p[erson that it was short "2 screws" and would not let me speak and hungup. Have been receiving weekly texts from RR stating that part was on back order. Early this month I called Frigidaire and spoke to a Gretchen and told her that I don't want to hear or see RR appiances ever and don't to deal with Frigidaire anymore. WE are seniors persons and have felt being abused by your company.

I emailed complaint January 7 and January 9, 2023, with no response. Our 2yr new stove, stove door glass exploded all over our floor. The inner and outer glass is not broken, and we do not know where this glass is coming from.
It renders us with not stove, and we are a family of 5. The oven was not in use. We continue to see glass falling from the stove door. It is unacceptable that I have not had any response. I have also tried to phone in my concern/complaint and I was told to call back, because you the phone line was too busy. When I returned my call, I was placed on hold for over 1 hours.
